Dead island riptide weapon map. Weapons in Dead Island. Hand-to-hand combat and skills

Dismember or crush into a cake? Chop or slice? Carry out an autopsy, fry or everything-everything else? While other games that claim to be "almost role-playing" unwind before us a tangle of plot paths, without any, it provides unlimited ground for improvisation in killing zombies. For those who are not satisfied with decapitation and severed limbs, there is an exciting running around in search of blueprints for modifying weapons. When the bat turns into a circular saw, and the katana into a stun gun, the zombiecide becomes not only spectacular, but also effective. But how to find all the blueprints on the big island, and which ones are really worthy of attention? Let's figure this out.

To assemble a weapon upgrade, you should have a workbench, a recipe, a suitable weapon, and parts on hand. The latter come across everywhere - in bags. cupboards, boxes or just laying in plain sight.

All weapons have a color gradation, in ascending order of power: white, green, blue, purple. orange. Sometimes the nominal damage of the "white" copy exceeds even the damage of the "orange" one. but the "power of color" is different - the higher the rank of the weapon, the higher its probability of a critical hit. There is no point in betting on “white” improvement samples at all.

Want to collect all the recipes - play alone! If you join someone else's game or players will run into you. people can crawl into missions and complete them instead of you. Your reward (be it a mod, money or weapon) will not go anywhere, but finding a quest character with a prize will be extremely difficult.

The most common upgrades on Banoi. Enemies take additional damage and lose health for a few seconds on a critical hit. All types of zombies are vulnerable to bleeding. The modification is installed only on blunt weapons. It does not impose negative effects on enemies, therefore it is inferior in effectiveness to shock or poison.

Usable weapon, baseball bat, home run, straight mouthpiece, bouncer buddy.

FIRE
An effective tool against all types of zombies, especially rams and drowned. On critical damage, the enemy is set on fire and takes significant damage for several seconds. You should not come into contact with a burning zombie - you will get burned. Pulse
Analogous to electric modifiers, but only blunt weapons are “charged”, and a critical hit does not stun zombies, but knocks them back. Impulse damage is one-time. and a bad landing often kills the enemy. The best group of mods if you are a fan of breaking, not cutting.

Impulse (duct tape (2), wire (2), battery (2); $200). Issued by Howard Craigson. if we hang five posters around the city during the side mission "Last Chance on the Wall" (Act II).

There are five secret blueprints in the game that can create the strongest weapon. There are five skulls hidden in the locations: if you find any of them and put them in a special place, someone from above will reward us with a modifier.

We recommend using these upgrades only against the "fattest" enemies - each will cost us $10,000 and five diamonds, and repairing already upgraded items costs a fortune. By the way, it is best to use throwing weapons - their durability does not decrease during throws.

Brown skull. It will be found no earlier than the Black Hawk Down story quest (act I), where Nikolai should be taken to the bunker. As soon as you receive a reward from the Russian, use the hatch in the same room - a suicide lives inside, and the skull is on the floor.

Developer "s 666 craft. Allows you to create left hand of glova - an impulse for fists. Enemies within a certain radius are discarded, but the endurance bar is depleted. Puts everyone on the ground except rams, the most valuable weapon in the game, fully pays for itself. To get a drawing, go to the top of the cape, northeast of the lifeguard tower at the resort, and place the skull near the flag.

In the story chapter "Journey to the Bazaar", make your way through the sewers to the cellar of the supermarket. Seeing the stairs up, turn on the flashlight and inspect the carts under the stairs.

Developer "s no, 1 craft. Creates an electric knife with a battery. Returning from the market back to the town hall through the sewers (do this during the "Sad Return" story mission - locations will be available later, but it's easy to get lost in the sewers without a map and a marker ), in a room with poisonous water, go up the stairs to the right. There are a bunch of skulls behind the door - add yours there, get the recipe.

Purple skull. After escaping from the town hall (still the same "Sad Return"), go through the sewers along the marker almost to the end. When the exit point appears on the radar, you will find yourself in a room with a drowned man. There is also a ladder - go up and go to a dead end with a bunch of skulls and a photo.

Developer "s no, 4 craft. Capable of creating a fire knife - also using a battery. During the side quest "Intruders" (act I), you find yourself in an abandoned house (northeast of the city warehouse). Put the skull on

Developer "s no, 3 craft. Toxic knife, created using oleander. The only weapon with + 100% critical strike probability, only drowned people are immune to it. Go to the resort, from the rescue tower, go strictly south, to the bunker (there we found "Weight") Inside, go down through the hatch and inspect the locked door (without the "open" or "knock out" function). Climb the stairs and drop a couple of gas cylinders down to this door - their explosion will "open" the passage. Near the beds you will see a pointer where the skull should be placed.

Green skull. In the resort, just west of the bunker where you received the previous modification, lies the last skull. He is at the top of the cape, near the water. If you go from the rescue tower to the bunker, there will be a fork halfway; turn right to the wrecked boat, go through the stone archway, and the target hill will be straight ahead.

Developer "s no, 2 craft. The formula for making a unique baseball bat. Again we go to the city supermarket. Arriving at the large trading floor, inspect the windows, look for the toy department. Place the skull on the shelf with teddy bears - your drawing.

Magic Wand (duct tape (3), wire (3), large battery (2), telephone (2), electronic junk (2); 600). During the story mission "A Sad Return" (Act II), explore the city hall. The drawing is near the mayor, who turned into a thug, on the table.

Suitable weapons: police baton, metal baton. heavy club, sledgehammer, construction hammer, mallet, pickaxe, crowbar, club, club, morningstar, bladed club, heavy morningstar, exotic club, kanabo. metal club-kanabo, Gabriel's sledgehammer, pick of fate.
Effect: damage +5%, critical strike chance +4%. Critical Hit Damage +50%. Critical Hit Repulsion +140%.

Tesla (duct tape (3), wire (3). large battery (3), telephone (2), belt (2), engine parts; $1,000). Once in the laboratory (act III), take the side quest "Hostages of Electricity" from Willy, who is on duty at the entrance. Recipe in the generator room.
Usable weapons: sledgehammer, construction hammer, mallet, Gabriel's sledgehammer.
Effect, Critical Hit Chance +6%, Critical Hit Damage +75%. Critical Hit Repulsion +200%.

Poisoning
It's funny, but even zombies can be poisoned. From a critical hit, the ghouls have an attack of nausea - for some time they take damage and at this moment are defenseless. The mod does not work on rams and drowned, but against the rest it is a miracle how good. Only sharpened weapons are upgraded.

Toxin (Oleander (3), Detergent (3), Suicide Meat (2), Lemon Juice (2), Flexible Hose (2): 600). Find it in the city church. at the beginning of the second act, when you are asked to stop ringing the bells. In the room with the bully.

Paralyzing Strike (Oleander (2), Detergent (2); 200). Noticeably weaker than the previous improvement, although we get it later. At Simon's warehouse in the city, you will meet Jack. He will give the modifier for the side quest "A Priceless Photograph" (act II).
Suitable weapons: sickle, machete. axe, two-handed axe, knife. billhook, tanto. wakizashi. katana, double edged blade, reaper, zed's bane, southern viking, chef, bushmaster, banisher, ripper, assassin's greed.
Effect: Damage +5%, Critical Hit Chance +4%, Critical Hit Damage 125%.

Poison (oleander (2), detergent (2), algae (2), flexible hose (2); 400). The middle link between "Paralysis" and "Toxin". During the story run through the sewers during the quest "Let the water flow" (act II), open the floodgates and deal with the first drowned man. Then follow the sign until you see the workbench icon on the minimap. The drawing is in the room next to him.
Usable weapons, sickle, machete, axe, two-handed axe, knife, cleaver, tanto, wakizashi, katana, double edged blade, reaper, zed's bane, southern viking, chef, bushmaster, banisher, ripper, assassin's greed.
Effect: Damage +5%, Critical Hit Chance +4%, Critical Hit Damage +-33%, Spread Chance 110%.

Scorpion (oleander (3), detergent (3), drowned meat (2), soap (2), flexible hose (2), stingray tail; 1000). The strongest poisonous modifier. You will receive it as a reward from Frank in Lab 8 Jungle. when you complete his side mission "Important Substances" (Act III).
Usable weapon, sickle, machete. Axe, Two-Handed Axe, Knife, Cleaver, Tanto, Katana, Double Edged Blade, Zed's Doom, Viking of the South, Chef, Bushmaster, Exorcist, Ripper, Assassin's Greed.

Having sailed on a boat with Mowan back to the city of Moresby, go to the weapons store (west of the place where you and Joseph entered the sewers). Jared Miles will issue a side quest "Die Hard" (act III) - after entering the building and killing the thug, take the drawing on the right, near the boxes.

Plot

The game is a direct sequel Dead Island. The game takes place on the same archipelago as the previous part, but on a different island.

Those who were lucky enough to escape the epidemic on the island of Banoi believed that they managed to escape the danger. But they were wrong. Another hotbed of a mysterious epidemic erupted right on board the warship. A storm has begun. Since the crew of the ship was infected and could not control the ship, the ship that had lost control was run aground and literally planted on the coastal rocks. Survivors of the storm ended up on the fictional island of Palanai, a few miles from the neighboring island of Banoi. In search of salvation, absolutely not expecting that crowds of crazed zombies are already waiting for them on this island.

More specifically, the narrative begins immediately after the end of the previous game. The few survivors arrive by helicopter on the USS Avenger, where they are surrounded by Colonel Hardy's men. He demands from the survivors to lay down their weapons, guaranteeing their safety in this case. After fulfilling these requirements, Serpo appears and after a short conversation with him, Hardy orders his men to take the survivors prisoner. They are taken away, and later euthanized and experimented on. In the course of this, it becomes clear that Serpo knows about the immunity of the survivors to the virus. Heroes take up weapons at hand and they are preparing, together with other survivors, to resist the zombies, and survive at all costs. Traveling around the island, the heroes learn that the only way to leave the island is by boat, located in a dead city.

The main goal of the game is survival, so the player will come across all sorts of useful items: money, water, food and others. All this is necessary for survival, as well as for completing tasks and creating weapons.

The game implements a realistic demeanor of the character. The character has a stamina bar, which is spent while running, jumping or hitting. When the gauge is empty, the player becomes vulnerable for a few seconds, until the gauge is replenished again. The weapon has various parameters: impact force, impact on the character (how quickly he will get tired) and others. With use, the weapon breaks, losing its properties. Therefore, weapons need to be repaired at special workbenches. There you can also improve it, as well as modernize it.

In the process of passing the game, new parts of the island and types of enemies will be opened. The player will gain experience as they progress through the game, and for each new level, one skill point, which is distributed into one of three branches: the first branch of rage allows the character to become enraged and subsequently improve this skill, the second branch is responsible for the character’s combat skills and possession type of weapon, and the third branch helps to survive in the game, with its help the player can slowly regenerate health, get more money, open locks and be more resistant to attacks. Each hero has their own skills, abilities, weapon handling, rage, and play style. The player can distribute skills as he pleases.

The game also has a cooperative mode. Any player can freely find a suitable game in the lobby, having an Internet connection (always except for the prologue, his player must go through on his own). You can invite your friends to the game. Progress is saved only if you play according to your progress, looking ahead you will have to pick up where you left off

Plot

Entourage

The game takes place in July 2006 on the fictional island of Banoy, a famous tropical resort located off the east coast. papua new guinea, north of Australia. This is the largest island in the Banoi Archipelago, which also includes the islands of Palanay, Narapela and Amala.

In recent years, Banoi has been quite famous and densely populated, but many areas of the island are still wild, untouched by the modern world. Despite the fact that its capital, Moresby, was founded by Australian settlers as early as 1895, most of the island's areas are covered with impenetrable jungle and have not yet been explored.

Banoi is world famous as the location of the popular luxury five-star resort hotel "Royal Palms" (Royal Palms Resort), which often attracts celebrities. Not far from Banoi, on a small island surrounded by a minefield, is the Banoi Maximum Security Prison - a private facility for holding international terrorists and criminals.

The island has a police force and its own armed forces, called the Banoi Island Defense Force (B.I.D.F.), which are responsible for the protection and security of Banoi.

For unknown reasons, an invasion occurs in this area. zombie. Four survivors who are immune to zombie virus looking for a way to leave the island. In this they are helped and guided by a voice on the radio, scientists, as well as other survivors, of whom there are quite a few on the island. But in order to get out, the heroes have to go through difficult trials of infected beaches, a dead city, jungle, meeting and killing terrible undead and marauders, their only hope is a helicopter that is located on a prison island.

Main Campaign

The specific prologue begins with the protagonist waking up in his room after a wild party. Wandering around the hotel, he discovers many corpses. On the damaged elevator, one person finds the hero on the camera and tells him where to go through the speakerphone, but zombies attack him. Stunned comes to his senses already in the beach house. Local lifeguard John Sinamoy diagnoses the survivor as immune to the virus because he was bitten. Later, the survivors get to the rescue complex and settle there, from there the hero begins his development and journey around the island.

It was only after arriving on the island that Xian Mei became responsible for many tasks at the hotel before she began working as a receptionist. Good at dealing with zombies with melee weapons. His downfall in his career also affected his life, leaving him in decline and bitterness. To get rid of the "ghosts of the past", he decides to relax and enjoy the beauty of the tropics, for which he goes to Banoy. The flight will soon begin, during which Logan will dream of returning to old problems. Good at throwing weapons. The Russian version is voiced by Alexander Golovchansky.

Then Parna got a job as a bodyguard for VIPs around the world. She was hired not only because of her abilities, but also because of her appearance - rich men were not opposed to being around her, although she herself admits that she "hates the rich." Excellent command of firearms. Voiced by Olga Kuznetsova in the Russian version.
  • Rider White- 39 years old, colonel of the Australian armed forces. Served in Afghanistan. Main antagonist. At the end of the game, he turns into a zombie after being bitten by his wife, Emily. Killed by heroes. In addition to the game, you can play for him. The Russian version is voiced by Evgeny Valts.

Armament

The game has a large number of weapons. Melee weapons are divided into two types: blunt and sharpened. Blunt weapons include bats, hammers, sledgehammers, sticks, brass knuckles, water pipes, brooms, and large wrenches. Blunt weapons are best at breaking the bones of opponents. Sharpened weapons include knives, machete, blades, axes, cleavers. Any melee weapon gradually breaks down during use, so from time to time it needs to be repaired or thrown away and a new one found. A sharpened weapon is capable of cutting off (chopping off) the limbs of opponents. Any melee weapon can be thrown at an enemy and subsequently picked up again. Firearms are represented by pistols, revolvers, shotguns and rifles. Also in the game there are homemade grenades, bombs, mines and Molotov cocktails. In the game, you can get unique weapons as a reward for completing tasks, and unique weapons can also be found in secret places or knocked out from strong opponents.

An important element of the game is the improvement of weapons. As the game progresses, the player will often find blueprints for upgraded weapons. Upgraded weapons are created at the workbench using the required materials and blueprints. Each upgrade has its own list of weapons that can be upgraded. Improved weapons are much more effective than simple ones and have a special feature on a critical attack. Upgraded weapons are more expensive to repair than simple ones.

Game engine

It was planned that in Dead Island will be used game engine Chrome engine 4th version, which at that time was the latest. According to game producer Techland Adreanu Ciszewski, in Dead Island will use the standard version of Chrome Engine 4, without any special improvements and improvements. The only difference will be a specially designed face damage system. The essence of this system is that the character's face is modeled "in layers", that is, the facial bones are modeled first, which are then "fitted" with facial muscles, and then with skin. The player in real time can injure computer opponents, while the deformation of the face and skull will occur dynamically, in real time. In November 2007, the developers released a video demonstrating the skull damage system.

Another feature of the engine is the dynamic day change system - thanks to it, the cycles of day and night change dynamically and regardless of game scripts. There will also be a weather effects system.

After the official announcement of the game, it became known that the game will use Chrome engine 5.

Game development

The game has been developed since 2005, the working title of the game is "Island of the living dead".

In 2006, everyone forgot about the game, except for the developers themselves.

At the end of 2006, the name changed to Dead Island, the engine was changed from Chrome Engine 2 to Chrome Engine 3.

On August 22, 2007, the first trailer to the game, in which a fly-by through the jungle of the island was made, and then a brief fragment of the fight against zombies was shown.

On September 28, 2007, 8 new screenshots for the game appeared. On November 14, 2007, a new video appeared, a technical demonstration of the features in the game. It considered the technology of multilayer destruction of the human head.

On November 27, 2007, the gaming site Primotech interviewed one of the developers of the game, Adrian Ciszewski ( Polish Adrian Ciszewski ) which discussed the Dead Island game.

March 22, 2008 major gaming site IGN had a conversation with the developers of the game, in which many questions were asked and answers were received.

At the end of 2009, it became known that the engine was changed again, the game began to be developed on Chrome Engine 4 during this period of time.

On April 26, 2010, there were rumors that the publisher of the game might be the company deep silver.

On February 18, 2011, it became known that a well-known director in the film industry, Sean Daniel, showed interest in a film adaptation of this project and was in talks with the game's publisher.

A sequel to the game was released in early 2013.

Reviews and criticism

In general, critics and the players themselves reacted favorably to the release of Dead Island, but there were some comments. According to opinion aggregator site Metacritic, the game received 80 points out of 100 possible, and the Dead Island rating on the portal GameRankings is 77.80%. Among Dead Island's awards, one can note the prize for the most unusual accents in a computer game.

The reviews unanimously note the original place of development zombie apocalypse is a tropical island. The player will have to fight for life in a beach resort, although gloomy locations such as an infected urban slum and a medical laboratory are not excluded. In well-known publications, you can find praise for the various zombie extermination options in the game, which is especially interesting in the presence of a whole range of melee weapons - from a paddle to a homemade circular saw. One of the most appealing features of Dead Island is cited by reviewers as the co-op mode.

As for the drawbacks of Dead Island, players complain about the monotony of the game's quests, turning into a chore. The scheme of almost all Dead Island quests is simple: get to a given place, take tasks, find the right items, complete the task and get a reward. Some reviewers note that with such a location and interesting, in essence, images of the characters, the plot of the game could be made much more exciting. Also, the animation of the game received a lot of criticism regarding the depiction of characters.

Seemingly idyllic picture

When the hero of Stevenson's immortal novel categorically assured those around him that the dead don't bite, he, no doubt, could not have imagined how popular biting (and at the same time walking and groaning) corpses of not the very first freshness would be in the 21st century. The number of cultural and entertainment works in which dead, but very often lively zombies appear, now exceeds all reasonable limits. Sometimes it even comes to the point that we are quite seriously offered to look at the zombie apocalypse from a different side than a normal person should, revealing a rich inner world and a huge evolutionary potential of self-propelled ghouls.

The authors of Dead Island did not do such experiments at one time and suggested that we try on the more or less familiar skin of a survivalist, surrounded by crowds of soulless and meaningless carrion. On the other hand, the gameplay of this project stood out somewhat from the mass of zombie slashers: we were presented with a very large area of the game world, allowed to interact with other survivors and develop in the spirit of some kind of RPG, and even allowed us to show a certain amount of handicraft creative talent in weapon crafting. As for a considerable number of shortcomings and errors in DI, the players forgave most of them, with pleasure exploring the tropical paradise teeming with dangers. Preparing the sequel, the developers traditionally promised to fix the shortcomings and bring to perfection the strong points of the game. Well, your business on the island of Banoi is over, welcome to the island of Palanay!

Did you have anyone named Freeman in your relatives?

Riptide is a direct sequel to Dead Island, so it's not surprising that we'll see a bunch of old characters, along with one new character. You will be briefly told about the heartbreaking events on Banoi, from which a group of comrades who are immune to zombie infection barely escaped in a helicopter that landed on a certain warship. And everything seemed to work out for the better, but the heroes are suddenly taken into circulation, handcuffed and seated in not very comfortable cells. Such disgrace is explained quite simply: despite the seemingly military status of the ship, everything is run on it by a cunning and unscrupulous businessman in a formal suit, who expects to benefit from the characteristics of the immunity of the survivors. So our heroes are handed over on the spot to the "polyclinic for experiments" and their future turns out to be overshadowed by an endless series of future needles, enemas and tasteless prison-hospital meals.

Fortunately, the zombies, although not intentionally, do not leave the dashing company in trouble: a virus that has entered the ship in an obscure way causes natural chaos, leads to the release of prisoners and, following the laws of the genre, to a subsequent shipwreck off the coast of another flowering island neighboring with Bano. Not far sailed, what can I say. But how hard they tried.

Almost the ninth shaft

The plot of Dead Island: Riptide is not just replete with cliches and platitudes - it consists entirely of them. An ancient virus that at times thins out the local population is in stock. A group of survivalists with expected aspirations, as well as a small number of "post-apocalyptic" collectives (including ex-convicts and demon-possessed preachers, as it were) - please. Mad and not very scientists pursuing their goals related to the virus - get it and sign it. What have you forgotten? Oh yes - mutagenic chemicals, whose use both externally and internally leads to very frightening (and, by the way, almost instantaneous) consequences and, of course, the gloomy legacy of the Japanese flood of the Second World War, who once founded an impressive underground base on the island. In general, this whole set of elements of a simple zombie story constructor allows you to predict any turn of events with high probability, in addition, it becomes clear from the very first frames that this whole simple scenario is nothing more than an excuse to justify your presence on the sultry Palanay. Happiness is not in history.

That's what happens from any chemistry

Have you been hit on the head with an ax for a long time?

We come in turn, do not crowd ...

However, although it is not very interesting to follow the plot in DI: R, one has to do it one way or another - the areas of the island are opened sequentially and at the behest of the scriptwriters. Nevertheless, there is always something to do in the current, in accordance with the chapters, territories. Side quests will be handed out to you by almost everyone you meet, including teammates, so there is always where to earn extra money for a quick messenger. True, the needs of local residents are more and more petty: someone does not have enough dose of drugs to be happy, someone really wants to finish the film without being embarrassed by what is happening around, but someone just wants to eat. Similar requests will come from your comrades-in-arms, but you probably shouldn’t ignore them - the clips, batteries or blades you delivered can increase not only the spirit, but also the combat capabilities of your comrades, which brings certain benefits to you.

Trailer, tents, hungry tourists

And someone naive hoped to leave ...

The fact is that now your character, in addition to free hunting for zombies in the jungle, sometimes has to act in a well-coordinated team, reflecting the massive raids of cadaverous evil spirits. They will warn you about the upcoming defense of the base and let you prepare: block the entrances with a metal grid (get batteries - bring current to the grid), carefully lay out mines and even, in some cases, get and place heavy machine guns (you won’t have to get ammunition, don’t worry). Well, then the action begins, combining an action movie and a kind of tower defense at the same time: zombies roll in waves, trying to seep into all the cracks of your fortification, but the defenders of the base are trying to resist this with all their might.

Your duties here include not only personally destroying all hostile rotten things, but also timely patching of broken fences, as well as ambulance to comrades-in-arms - another ghoul strives to cling to them with a death grip. If he succeeds, then the evil spirits will slowly chew on the unfortunate, despite his sluggish resistance, and the vital signs of the victim will steadily melt. If a friend's lifebar drops to zero and he dies, you will have to start from the last checkpoint - the scenario does not provide for the unexpected loss of allies.

For a while, this place will be your home.

Short breaks go to meetings

In hiking along the paths of a warm island, you will meet vehicles more than once, always refueled and ready for operation. Unfortunately, it is not allowed to travel all over the map, but often a car makes the journey much easier, primarily due to the ability to crush aggressive corpses in batches. Of course, less experience is given for such a “rest”, but the process becomes much simpler - you are almost invulnerable while driving. As for the boat, everything is somewhat different here: drowned zombies swim in schools at the sound of the engine, cling to the side and climb to visit you. We didn’t have time to throw off such a passenger with a well-aimed kick - you find yourself in the water, and even in an unpleasant company. Transport management and the model of its behavior, of course, are completely arcade, but this does not spoil the game. By the way, vehicles are indispensable in those missions where you need to deliver something voluminous and heavy from point A to point B, so sometimes it’s worth taking care of moving the car to the right place instead of using the quick transition system.

You can't follow traffic rules here.

In the fight against rotting reptiles, any means is good and firearms, with all its convenience, do not come to the fore in Dead Island: Riptide - there simply won’t be enough cartridges for everyone. You have to actively use edged weapons, improvised means, and also desperately beat zombies with your bare hands and shod feet. The latter, by the way, is important, because it saves a far from endless resource of all those devices that serve as weapons here.

A typical battle with ordinary opponents goes something like this: with the help of what is in our hands, we bring down a carnivorous corpse from our feet, and then, in the style of street gangsterism, we kick it with our feet (trying to hit it in the head) until it stops moving. Nevertheless, one should not underestimate the variety of weapons offered by the game - you won’t gain much with limbs alone.

One of the most important indicators of a shock-piercing-cutting tool is its fragility, that is, in other words, the conditional number of blows on stinking flesh, after which the weapon turns into useless trash. Oddly enough, even all-steel crowbars break down here, so you should not neglect the timely repair of the arsenal. It will not be possible to repair a broken baton on your knee, but workbenches with all the necessary tools are scattered around the island at our service. Workbenches are equipped with cash terminals - someone invisible is sure to charge you for each turning and plumbing operation, so that money on the post-apocalyptic island remains, oddly enough, in use.

However, repair is a function, although important, but, nevertheless, secondary, the main purpose of workbenches remains the improvement of existing "tools of production" and the creation of new ones. In the latter case, you will certainly need to find a drawing - the game does not believe in the fantasy of your hero. In addition to the blueprints, it will not be superfluous to get a bunch of various rubbish lying around everywhere - from cans of bleach to broken wires. And now, with all the required resources, you can make another masterpiece of zombie-killing, like a bat with a cordless saw at the end, or at least a baton wrapped in barbed wire. There are many options, and they all have the right to exist.

Homemade zombie cutter - a good help

But Wolverine did not know that it was possible

A warm climate, fresh air, orienteering and constant fights improve health and morale, and therefore the scale of your hero's exp will grow by leaps and bounds (not to mention the fact that we start at level 15, as wiser with some experience of the past games). For each level, you are rewarded with one skill point, which are divided into three groups: rage (a special mode of extreme brutality), combat and survival (somewhere it was already recently, yeah).
