But these are trifles - the main thing is that they sat down, got their luggage. Bow to you, aviators! Met well. The company "Biblio-Globus" organized buses to the place of deployment. Crimean roads are, of course, a separate topic: serpentine, climbs, descents... Impressive. 2. Hotel Ripario. Placed quickly and without delay, ahead of schedule. We got a dark nook, but with amenities. The room is interesting, but more on that later. 3. Food unit. The food is basically normal. Public catering. Decent hall, buffet, a lot of staff. But, apparently, everything is imported, including tomatoes, which is somehow alarming for the month of July. Now about the Crimean wines. We visited a winery in Inkerman. I liked everything very much. Thank you. Well done. You are moving in the right direction. Tasted. The wines are of high quality, both white and red. Real. But there are no discounts in the factory store, so in the mini-market near the hotel they bought the same young wine for the same price. We are glad that we did not drag all this from Sevastopol. In addition, the shops sell draft wine from the surrounding vineyards, quite decent from Massandra and Bakhchisaray. 4. The territory of the hotel. The hotel is a former sanatorium "Pribrezhny". The entire infrastructure has been preserved from those times. Everything in the Soviet Union was done thoroughly, and is still holding up, including the monument to Maurice Teresa. The park is well maintained: there are many pines, cypresses, cedars, plane trees, and this is a real sanatorium from the point of view of nature. The park is looked after. From time to time people appear who water the vegetation and trim the bushes, but rarely, so everything is withered. In addition, the paths in the park are continuous ascents and descents, so this implies a certain physical training. From entertainment sluggish animation for children in the evenings and occasionally in the morning. In general, the hotel can be called rather for children. The only joy for adults is to walk in the evenings along the narrow strip of the embankment and stare at each other. They don't even show movies 🤦‍♂️ 5. The sea. The hotel has its own beach, but everyone from the surrounding area could come there. For a small bribe, which is collected at the entrance by rescuers. Pebbles underfoot, medium and large. The entire beach spit is divided into compartments, where it is shallower for children's swimming, the middle one is for uncertain users of the water element, and the sea, where there are large stones at the bottom and deep - for those who like to indulge in thrills. In all senses. We mostly lived on this beach, because there were always sunbeds and the least number of vacationers. But the water itself is very clean, the underwater world is clearly visible, without even sinking to the bottom. There are lifeguards on the beach, but they are stupefied with boredom. Their only task is to collect sunbeds at 7 pm. But they could have made a good entrance to the sea: by a miracle, huge boulders in the water have not yet caused serious injuries to vacationers. 6. Hotel infrastructure. There is a fitness room where you can’t break through without sneakers (what is he wearing then?), some medical procedures, a tennis court (for a fee), a swimming pool and ... that’s all. There is no outdoor sports ground, which is very surprising. But they could organize vacationers in the mornings for charging. I think there would be those who would like to. For the money that the hotel has from vacationers, they could have built it. But, apparently, they considered that the total number of climbs along the paths would be enough. From the service outside the hotel - a restaurant, two canteens and three shops. Everything is not just expensive, if, in a simple way, it is zhlobski expensive. It seems that nothing is produced in Crimea, and only premises are rented out for a lot of money. Absolutely everything is imported. Of the two canteens that we visited, the Uzbek one turned out to be the most decent both in price and quality. The dining room with Russian cuisine is much inferior in terms of the quality of food and its edibility. We didn’t even dare to eat in a cafe, partly, because apart from pasties and pizza there are no frills. Who knows what it's all made of. There are very few cats and dogs in the area. In stores, all prices are doubled, but people have to buy, because the nearest civilization is only in Yalta. But we must pay tribute, khachapuri and baklava are delicious. You could grow your own tomatoes! At least pick apricots along the road, cook jam. By the way, the transport connection between Yalta and our village left much to be desired: 4 minibuses run once an hour, although the locals claim that in half an hour. There are traffic jams on the roads due to the huge number of alien cars that are afraid to violate traffic rules and keep a speed of no more than 40 km / h. In large cities, cars crawl over each other due to the narrowness of the traffic track. But the drivers are cheerful and provocatively talking in traffic jams, as in a cabal. The surroundings of Yalta are reminiscent of the village of Stroitel in Ryazan (a cardboard-roofing plant). Only the center has been landscaped: the embankment has been paved, the sale of magnets and caps is flourishing at every corner, but at three prices, of course. As for the system of pointers - they do not exist in principle. So feel free to use only the navigator or the old-fashioned language that did not often lead us in the right direction, because the locals do not always understand Russian the first time and ask again (interesting, given the specifics of the “Russian-speaking” Crimea). Sevastopol seemed to be the only ennobled city in this region. It seems that Ukraine has rolled away, leaving Crimea as it was: unfinished, dilapidated, surviving as best it can.
