The headliners of our hip-hop scene and one of the most respected bands, Kasta needs no further introduction. They traveled all over the country, conquered all major venues and are welcome guests at all significant festivals. However, in the capital, Casta does not perform as often as its many listeners would like - they had their previous solo album in Moscow last summer. The performance on August 12 will also become a double event because it will take place not in a crowded club, not as part of an open-air event of many thousands, but at the cozy summer venue "Port", located in the most beautiful place at VDNKh. Over the course of almost two decades of her creative work, Casta changed the vector more than once, but always remained in tune with the times both musically and lyrically. Winners of two MTV awards and as many MUZ TV awards, owners of an impressive discography and one of the most touring bands in Russia, after a break during which super-successful albums of the group members were released, in 2014 set about creating a new full-length record. New tracks are being prepared for release this spring and will be presented at the band's big June concerts. "Big" is not just an exaggeration, but the tradition of Casta once a year to give percussion performances at the largest club venues in the capital. Sound, light, video, live band accompaniment and special guests are what the band is especially trying to achieve for such concerts. And if we take into account that there was no "big concert" of Casta in Moscow for more than a year and a half, the capital can count on a special attitude.
