Sandy beaches of the Black Sea. Relaxing on a pebble beach. Beaches between Tuapse and Lazarevsky

Where is the sandy beach on the Black Sea? A question that seems simple at first glance will make even experienced tourists and seasoned travelers think. The variety of rocks that make up the sea shelf and shore, and the antiquity of the basin are factors influencing the nature of the surface. There are three types of beaches: sandy, pebble and rocky. The first ones are the most popular, the second and third ones are not for everyone. Let's find out where the shore is covered with sand, so pleasantly caressing the body.

Where is the sandy beach on the Black Sea?

Researching tourists' preferences is not an easy task. A multimillion-dollar flow of people goes to different parts of the Black Sea coast:

  • northern Turkey;
  • western slopes of the Caucasus;
  • Crimean peninsula;
  • southwest Ukraine;
  • southeast Bulgaria.

Sandy beaches on the shores of the Black Sea preferred by tourists:

  • Kerpe, Kefken and Kovanagzi in the vicinity of an important transport hub in northern Turkey - the city of Izmit;
  • the cities of Anapa and Gelendzhik on the Black Sea coast of the Caucasus (Russia);
  • more than 20 resorts on the Crimean peninsula;
  • cities and towns east and south of the city of Odessa (Ukraine);
  • resorts Varna, Burgas and others in Bulgaria.

Sandy beaches in southwest Ukraine

It’s not just the rocks that make up the coast that have pros and cons. The resort area must have a developed tourist infrastructure and good transport accessibility. Modern travelers, when planning their trip to the coast, also pay attention to the stable political situation in the region where they are going to relax.

In many respects, the sandy beaches of the Ukrainian Black Sea coast in Karolino-Bugaza and Sergeevka are inferior to the resorts of Bulgaria, Turkey, two Russian regions - the Crimean Peninsula and the Krasnodar Territory.

The best sandy beaches of the Black Sea coast of Bulgaria

Each vacationer has his own idea of an ideal resort and finds such places on the map. The soft contours of the coastline, a convenient position in temperate and subtropical latitudes - the features that characterize the Black Sand Beach from June to September attract hundreds of thousands of people to south-east Bulgaria.

The most popular budget-level resorts with sandy beaches and expensive hotels are located on the Balchik-Varna-Burgas coast line. The gentle and warm sea creates a single complex with the surrounding nature, the remains of ancient civilizations, and other cultural and historical monuments.

Southern sandy beaches of the Black Sea. Türkiye

The coastline stretches from Istanbul to the border with Georgia in northern Turkey. The water in the Black Sea is warm in summer and very cold in winter. There is information about the transformation of the sea into “land” in 764: “And they walked on it as if on dry land from the Crimea to Thrace and from Constantinople to Scutari.” The average summer air temperature over the past half century has remained at +23 °C.

The Black Sea beaches of Turkey attract lovers of natural contrasts and solitude. The mountainous area begins close to the coast; there are natural areas that are not affected by the destructive influence of civilization. Resorts in this part of Turkey are famous for their abundance of attractions, magnificent landscapes, and historical sites.

Hotels and boarding houses for vacationers are located in the area of the sandy beaches of Kovanagzi, Kerpe and Kefken. To the west is the Agva resort. The beaches of Sinop cover almost the entire coastline of the peninsula. The eastern part of the coast is decorated with the resorts of Unye, Ordu, and Trabzon.

Sandy beaches of the Black Sea coast of the Caucasus in Russia

Leaving a good resort, where the golden shore gently slopes down to the water, a tourist dreams of returning here next year. Even a cursory review of the regions where there is a sandy beach on the Black Sea convinces: people are attracted by this very character of the coast. Colorful comparisons appeared: “golden” - yellow beach, “pearl” - white. There are also red and black sands.

The eastern coast of the Black Sea was “unlucky” with rocks. They turned out to be too strong for water, wind and chemical reactions to turn them into sand. The crushing was completed at the stage of pebbles and gravel, and inaccessible rocks have been preserved, which have withstood the onslaught of the sea for thousands of years.

A sandy beach on the Black Sea near the Caucasus coast is a rarity. It is surprising that golden sand appeared among the stones and pebbles in Gelendzhik and Anapa. The sand warms up well to a depth of 35 cm and pleasantly warms the skin. Such natural procedures have a beneficial effect on the body, helping with diseases of the respiratory system, musculoskeletal system, urinary system and skin.

The south coast of Crimea. Sandy and pebble beaches

The Crimean peninsula is washed partially by the Sea of Azov, but the main part of the coastline belongs to the Black Sea basin. The advantages of the southern location are complemented by unique mountain and steppe landscapes, healing mud, and healing mineral water of the Crimea. It is not at all surprising that the resorts of the peninsula have become famous health resorts and dispensaries of international level.

Conditionally dividing the coast of the peninsula into South, West and East will help you better imagine where on the Black Sea the sandy beach is closer to the Caucasus, and where the Turkish coast is just a stone's throw away. The historical and geographical parts of Crimea differ in the structure of the coast, climatic features, and conditions for recreation. Tourists sometimes resemble fairy-tale characters choosing one of three roads.

The most famous Crimean resorts - Yalta, Alushta, Gurzuf, Foros - are located in the south of the peninsula. There is a clear sea, sandy and pebble beaches, picturesque landscapes. The southern coast of Crimea is an earthly paradise, where powerful tourist flows flock, especially during the warm season. The beaches in Alushta are covered with dark slate sand, sometimes with small pebbles and gravel. The water is not clean enough during the peak summer season when the resort is overloaded.

Crimea. Sandy beaches in the west

An example that clearly illustrates the problem of choosing beaches on the Black Sea is the Crimean city of Sevastopol, the Black Sea base of the Russian fleet. Among the three dozen most popular vacation spots in the area are the vast sandy beach in Omega Bay, the rocky Soldatsky beach in the Admiral Lagoon, and the pebble Yashmovy beach on Cape Fiolent. In addition to Sevastopol, on the western coast of Crimea there are the famous resort town of Evpatoria, the villages of Saki and Chernomorskoye.

Local health resorts attract with mild climatic conditions, an abundance of bright but not scorching sunlight, and the presence of medicinal brine and mud. The Evpatoria sandy beaches of the Black Sea (Russia) are especially famous. There are more than fifty swimming places in the city and its surroundings. There are free, departmental, nudist, and paid beaches, and all of them are sandy.

Eastern Crimea. List of sandy beaches

On the eastern coast of Crimea, popular seaside resorts are located near the cities of Kerch, Sudak, and Feodosia. There is a wide choice of places for excursion walks: ancient mounds, fortresses, the Koktebel wine and cognac production center, where the International Jazz Festival Koktebel Jazz Party takes place.

List of resorts in the east of Crimea where you can relax on sandy beaches:

  • Kerch (not in the city itself, but in the surrounding area).
  • On the line from Feodosia to the village of Primorsky, a wide section of the coast is strewn with quartz sand mixed with mother-of-pearl from ground shells;
  • The village of Novy Svet, where the film “Three Plus Two” was filmed in 1963. After the film was released, Soviet people became even more fond of relaxing as “savages” on sandy beaches.
  • Koktebel is a village in the vicinity of Feodosia on the shore of the bay of the same name, covered with sand and gravel.
  • Ordzhonikidze is a small resort between Feodosia and Koktebel. Sandy and pebbly shore.

The popularity of resorts depends on many factors, and one of the first places on the long list of requirements is the character of the coast. A smooth, gentle slope to the water, sand of golden and pearl shades are ideal conditions for relaxation.

It’s probably no secret that the Black Sea holds a lot of mysteries. But it’s one thing to read or hear, and another to see something interesting and unusual with your own eyes. And most importantly, what I will tell you about, if you wish, you can also see for yourself. But first things first, and so - interesting facts about the black sea from my life .

Have you ever wondered why on the Black Sea there are beaches only near settlements? It would seem simple, there was a mountain river, it washed away the crevice, over time a bay was formed, and where there is easy access to the sea, there is a place for people to live. This is true in its essence, and this is an indisputable fact, but the beaches are overcrowded, and the territory to the left and right of the settlements is empty, and no one is developing it.

That’s what I thought too, driving along the seashore from Tuapse to Sochi, how much space, how much free sea, a savage’s dream, but why are only a few using it, and the most beautiful places are empty. Bottom of the Black Sea full of pitfalls, yes this happens, but this is not a hindrance, but only a plus in a mask or with scuba gear. And if desired, the stones can be removed, as for example, this was recently done by a private person near the village of Shepsi.

And now the stories about that anomaly on the Black Sea, which my wife and I actually witnessed.

11 o'clock in the morning, seagulls began to gather on the shore

It should be noted that our vacation this year did not work out, first there was Italy - Verona, then Venice, where we found ourselves during the season of rain from nowhere and abnormal cold, and this was in July. As a result of a cold and a desire to improve my health in Zheleznovodsk, here again a failure, it is not known where the allergy came from, which I first treated as a cold. We got tired of all this and at the beginning of September we went to Shepsi, boarding house "Mayak", a good and inexpensive boarding house, but I will write a review about it in another article, it deserves it.

During Soviet times, we often vacationed in Shepsi, then the time came for exotic things in the form of, and. There are now fewer vacationers in Shepsi, the beaches are half empty, the wine is wonderful - you can relax, especially since it is very difficult for a picky tourist to ruin a vacation and You can relax in Shepsi for pennies.

And if you go along the beach to the left for a kilometer and a half, you will find yourself on a wonderful, almost always empty, even in peak season, beach with small pebbles and coarse dense sand that does not stick to your feet. Above this beach, 150 meters up there is a large boarding house "Solnyshko", a former pioneer camp with a huge territory and a park reminiscent of the Adler Arboretum. The boarding house is departmental, the prices are cheap, it’s a paradise for young people, I’ll also give a review about it a little later.

But I have never been able to understand why vacationers leave this paradise for Shepsi or Dederkoy, which is one and a half kilometers in both directions along the seashore.

The Black Sea here is really unusual, somehow heaving, as if breathing. We have vacationed on this beach seven times already, since 1977, by the way, the rare couples passing by somehow looked at us with surprise. It was only last year, 2014, that I realized what was going on here.

This time a large flock of seagulls was waiting for us on the shore, in fact, not even a flock, but the shore was dotted with seagulls for a kilometer so that it was difficult to pass. I also thought, this says something; before, the contemplation of a pair of seagulls hovering over the water was a special joy.

We walked through the gauntlet of seagulls, chose a place among the pebbles on tightly compressed sand, a paradise, easy to enter the sea, no stones, no sand sticking to our feet. We went swimming, the sea was completely calm, but for some reason this time, the sea did not bring me peace, as my wife later admitted, neither did she.

When swimming there was some feeling of anxiety, I will immediately note that I swim well and can still stay under water without air for more than two minutes - I checked this same year, but swim for an hour, so that the shore is out of sight or scares Close diving is common. True, they had already gotten used to it, but here I stubbornly simply drove my wife out of the water. And when there were 15 meters left to the shore, we were simply carried ashore, head over heels, by a wave that came from nowhere. Moreover, it was not just a wave, but a mixture of water and sand, consisting more of sand.

Then, having already reached the shore, we observed several more of the same emissions, as if from small volcanoes not far from the shore into the sea. Now it became clear to me where the sand comes from, why there is such an unusually beautiful sea and almost no vacationers. Locals about this phenomenon of the Black Sea they know, but it’s simply not customary to talk about it. And the seagulls rose, flew around the ejection sites and, as if disappointed by the lack of expected prey, with a loud gurgling, they all flew away as one, apparently the sea had previously brought them fish, stunned by a small explosion of hydrogen sulfide.

Here's the fact that hydrogen sulfide at the bottom of the Black Sea that the emissions are constant, and you can see it yourself if you want. By the way, I observed the same thing on the wild beach to the left of Shepsi, where someone cleared the beach from multi-ton boulders. Only there the emissions were smaller, three to four meters in diameter and with an incomprehensible odor, and the water to the left of Shepsi was just... abnormally salty It’s like, you can’t even dive normally, the water just pushes you to the surface. By the way, you can also easily check this fact; I’ll tell you more about this place in my review of the Mayak boarding house. By the way, the left descent to the sea from the boarding house here somehow reminded me of the road carved into the rocks to the abandoned cities of the Incas. I also advise you to definitely see it - you won’t regret it.

And it just dawned on me why the Black Sea is called black, and I have never heard or read such a simple and plausible explanation anywhere.

If anyone is interested - my version of that.

Last summer we had a great time on vacation at the Enot camping site near Arkhipo-Osipovka. As far as we have studied the topic, this is one of the best tent camps in the entire Black Sea. The owners organized the campsite at the highest level, everything is civilized: hot showers, Wi-Fi, electricity, comfortable washbasins, decent toilets, plenty of space. In the evenings, raccoons come and ask for food - both children and adults are delighted. The campsite has several sites with stunning sea views!

One of our favorite places in Crimea is Cape Vinogradny in Sevastopol.

Where can you find the best sandy beaches in Russia? We talk about the best beaches of the Black, Azov, Baltic and Caspian seas, according to reviews from tourists. Map of sandy beaches.

Sandy beaches occupy a leading place in popularity among vacationers. In Russia, resorts along the Black and Azov Seas are in greatest demand. Less popular due to their climatic and geographical features are the beaches of the Baltic and Caspian Seas.

Feodosia

Feodosia Golden Beach is considered one of the best on the coast. This is a 10-kilometer strip of bright yellow sand mixed with small shells, well equipped and clean. On the beach there are special playgrounds for children, a few cafes and an entertainment area.

In Beregovoy the beach is wide, in Primorsky it is several meters wide, and the busy Kerch-Sevastopol highway runs near the beach. Among the disadvantages, tourists named the distance of the beach from the city, the average level of infrastructure development and the presence of boulders near the shore, designed to trap algae. There are mosquitoes.

How to get there? From Feodosia you can get to the beach by bus or minibus. Transport departs every 10-20 minutes.

Evpatoria

Central beaches of Evpatoria

Big Anapa

During peak season, the central beaches become crowded. Most vacationers are in Anapa and Vityazevo; Dzhemete is freer. In addition, this coast is very specific: the shallow water in some places is such that adults have to move 20-30 meters from the shore to take a dip.

Finally, the main drawback that tourists often mention is that in mid-summer the water in the sea blooms, algae washes up on the shore, and swimming becomes unpleasant. The picture is approximately the same in Vityazevo and Dzhemet.

How to get there? You can get to the Central Beach of Anapa along any of the streets: Astrakhanskaya, Krasnodarskaya, Vladimirskaya, Grebenskaya or Krasnoarmeyskaya. From Anapa to the Central Beach of Vityazevo you can take a minibus or walk along Chernomorskaya Street in the village.

The beaches of Dzhemete extend to the north of the Central Beach of Anapa, you can access them from Pionersky Prospekt. If you go from Vityazevo towards Blagoveshchenskaya Stanitsa, then behind the Niko boarding house the wild beaches of the Vityazevo Spit begin. There is no infrastructure or entertainment here, so you need to travel with a decent supply of water and food.

Sandy beaches of the Azov Sea

Most of the sandy beaches of the Azov Sea are covered with shell rock, with shallow water off the coast and a gentle entrance. The water may be cloudy due to silt deposits. The most famous resorts are Yeisk, the villages of Dolzhanskaya and Golubitskaya in the Krasnodar Territory and the Crimean resorts in the Kerch region and Cape Kazantip - read a comparison of the best. There are also quite a lot of wild sandy beaches on the coast.

Krasnodar region

Of all the beaches, the Central City Beach is the most well-equipped: changing cabins, sun loungers, a network of cafes. The beach is very wide with clean sand and easy entry into the sea. There is a lot of entertainment for children and adults, water skis and scooters are available for rental. The only drawback is a lot of vacationers.

Shchelkino

The best sandy beaches are considered to be “Central” and “Tatarka”. The first is well-equipped with sun loungers, awnings and a network of cafes, the second is semi-wild with shallow water and exotic coves. Both beaches are not crowded, the depth is different everywhere, which is suitable for all age categories of vacationers. Disadvantage - difficult to get to.

How to get there? From Simferopol from the bus station by bus or by train from Kerch to the village of Lenino, from there by taxi.

Look for hotels with discounts on the Rumguru website - there you can find not only hotels, but also private accommodation, and also read reviews.

The domestic resort area of the Baltic coast is the Kaliningrad seaside, which is a 60-kilometer coastal strip from Baltiysk to Zelenogradsk, and a 50-kilometer line of the Curonian Spit, so there are more than enough sandy beaches on the Baltic Sea.

The spit is a national park with a sandy beach. On one side the territory is washed by the Baltic Sea, on the other by the Curonian Lagoon. This place is ideal for a relaxing holiday by the sea. Very fine white sand, dunes, pine trees and cool water, which in the hottest weather does not warm up above +22°C.

The infrastructure is poorly developed: beaches are equipped only in the villages of Lesnoy and Rybachye and near the Dunes tourist center. There are changing cabins, toilets, a small promenade, bars and cafes. You can enjoy delicious smoked fish from local fishermen and buy amber souvenirs. The rest of the beaches are wild, but you can’t camp there.

How to get there? From Kaliningrad or Zelenogradsk by regular bus or car. The village of Lesnoy is the first on the spit; from it the path to the sea runs through a pine forest.

Kaliningrad seaside

The most popular among vacationers are Svetlogorsk with its well-developed infrastructure, Zelenogradsk and the village of Yantarny. All beaches are clean and well equipped, there is a promenade for walking, changing cabins, toilets, volleyball courts, cafes and restaurants.

The best sandy beach on the Baltic Sea is considered to be the beach in Yantarny. It is very wide and uncrowded, but it is inconvenient to get there by public transport. In Svetlogorsk it will be difficult to go on holiday with children because of the mountainous landscape.

How to get there? It is more convenient to get to the beaches of Svetlogorsk, Zelenogradsk and Yantarny by bus or car from Kaliningrad. Buses depart daily every 15-20 minutes; in summer they go to Yantarny every half hour.

Did you know that sometimes a trip costs less than a flight, and can be purchased instead of a ticket for a regular flight? Moreover, the price of the tour includes flights, accommodation, transfer, insurance and meals of your choice. Last minute tours You can search for the best prices on the service - it compares offers from 120 tour operators and is therefore able to find the best option. Beaches of the Caspian Sea

The beaches of the Caspian Sea are located in the Astrakhan region, Dagestan and Kalmykia - almost 700 km of coastline. In the northern part, from the mouth of the Volga to the mouth of the Terek, a sandbank stretches for many kilometers - these banks are unsuitable for swimming and recreation. The most popular Dagestan resorts are located near mountains and mineral springs.

Read more about holidays on the Caspian Sea.

Dagestan, Makhachkala

Conflicting reviews about the beaches of the Caspian Sea in Dagestan. Many vacationers called the city beaches of Makhachkala unkempt and dirty. They speak well of the boarding house beaches, in particular, the beach of the Jami hotel complex and the Caspian sanatorium. All beaches are closed and well equipped: neat umbrellas, sun loungers, changing cabins and showers. Lots of beach activities and well-groomed green areas.

How to get there? The Caspiy sanatorium is located 35 km from Makhachkala, you can get there by train to the Manas station, or by car along the Rostov-Baku highway. You can get to the Jami complex by car/taxi or order a transfer from Makhachkala airport.

The popularity of holidays on the native shores of the Black Sea is growing, especially among families with children. The reason is not only financial. Vacationing in your home country is easier from an organizational point of view. At the same time, I want the water in the sea to be clean, and the beaches to be well-maintained, and preferably sandy... Is it possible to find such an ideal combination on the Russian Black Sea coast in 2018?

Resorts of the Krasnodar region

On the Black Sea coast of the Caucasus, almost the entire coastline is resort area. The only difference is the number of vacationers. Starting from Vityazevo and ending at Adler, there are continuous beaches - in bays and on the open sea, wild and equipped, sandy and pebble.

At all resorts the situation is approximately the same. The most popular beaches have developed infrastructure, but not very clean water near the shore. It is better to look for clear seas in the Krasnodar Territory on wild beaches in small resort villages.

Anapa - Vityazevo

The village of Vityazevo is located 11 km north Anapa and is administratively part of it. The main advantage of the resort is its wide sandy beaches and shallow coastal waters.

Central Beach very busy, but the private sections of the coast belonging to hotels and boarding houses are better equipped and there are not very many people on them.

Private beaches are fenced, but some can be accessed by paying 100-200 rubles for entry.

The sea in Vityazevo is free of algae, the bottom is flat, the depth begins about a hundred meters from the shore.

20 km from Novorossiysk there is a resort village, which is famous for its clear sea. It is conveniently located near transport hubs, besides it is easy to travel here by car and you can stay with a tent. The length of the clean, well-groomed pebble beach is 2 km. It's never crowded here.

Beaches Kabardinka start from Novorossiysk- wild and rocky, they are more suitable for adults; children will not be very comfortable on them. The paths to them are densely trodden right from the highway "Don". But the coastline and water are clean, despite the proximity of the port city.

On the approach to the village, the beaches become crowded; according to reviews, they are simply incredibly crowded and uncomfortable. It is clear that with so many vacationers, the water off the coast leaves much to be desired. For those who are more concerned about cleanliness than amenities, we can recommend uncrowded places far from the center of the village:

On Cape Doob There is a beach, the passage to which is now closed by a fence. Previously there was a tourist center here, but now an elite village has grown up "Lighthouse". But enterprising tourists found access to the shore and were rewarded with the clearest sea and 2 km of picturesque coastline stretching to the side Blue Bay.

Right after Gelendzhik 12 km away is one of the most popular resort villages - Divnomorskoe. Its advantage as a place for a beach holiday is due to the fact that it is located not in a bay, but on the shores of the open sea. The waves here are higher and the water is much cleaner, which attracts those who want to feel its true breadth and power.

According to sanitary standards, Divnomorsk has the cleanest sea on the Black Sea coast. True, there are always a lot of vacationers on the central beach; tourists from nearby resorts come here. But this is offset by a large number of rather deserted wilderness areas of the coast.

Praskoveevka - ecology at its best

Praskoveevka was awarded a great honor for its environmental friendliness and extraordinary beauty of nature - it is located here Presidential palace. The village is remote from the main cities, it is surrounded by relict pine forest.

The healing aroma of Pitsunda pine, the clean open sea and the moderately humid Mediterranean climate make the resort more and more popular every year.

The central beach of Praskoveevka has a developed infrastructure, including a variety of water activities. There are usually quite a lot of vacationers here. Even more tourists are trying to get to the rock "Sail". The shore here is not very convenient, the seabed is stony and rocky, but this does not stop those who like to swim in the clear water. During peak season there is no free space here.

The wild beach is considered the most environmentally friendly place on the Black Sea coast of the Krasnodar Territory "Molokanova gap". It is located 2 km east of the village. Overhanging the rocky shore and clear water like a tear are rocks covered with Pitsunda pine.

Sea at Crimean resorts

After the return of Crimea to Russia, a stream of tourists poured here. The most popular holiday destination is where the “star” resorts are located.

But this is not the best option in terms of sanitary conditions - the treatment facilities cannot cope with the load. You need to look for a clean sea on the eastern and western shores of the peninsula.

The TOP of the cleanest places in Crimea is headed by Cape Tarkhankut, where turquoise waters wash over white cliffs. Tarkhankut is not just a place to relax, it is a natural attraction of Crimea. There are no resorts here, but there are campsites where surfers and divers go. The local sea is considered the cleanest in Crimea.

The shore of Karadzhinskaya Bay in the Olenevka area is a real find for families with children.

Fine quartz sand and shallow, clear sea are all you need for a complete beach holiday.

A village follows Tarkhankut Balaclava, or rather its surroundings. They are famous for their cleanliness Gold And Silver beaches. IN Chersonese And Cossack Bay there are places that are considered the best for relaxation on the peninsula.

From the West Coast we move to the southeast to the village New World. Two bays attract tourists here with their picturesque nature and clear waters - Blue And Green. Is there some more Blue Bay, but it is too dangerous for swimming. Healing air Green Bay saturated with the aroma of juniper, the shores are sandy, and the water is completely clear. There is no better place to relax with children here.
