And 2 km from Chernomorets there is one of the most beautiful beaches of the Bulgarian Black Sea coast - the Gradina camping site, which is better known as Tsarska Beach. With its cleanliness and beauty, this beach attracts thousands of foreign and Bulgarian tourists every year!

Architecture

In the village Chernomorets has built nice, cozy cottages, guesthouses and small hotels and is dominated by low-rise resort construction, which ultimately creates an overall impression of calm and relaxation! The town has one delightful tradition - growing and maintaining beautiful flower beds and lawns! Every front yard, restaurant and hotel is sure to be surrounded by beautiful flowers and shrubs!

Infrastructure for recreation and entertainment

Chernomorets is developing and every year more and more different kinds of establishments, restaurants, bars, cafeterias and shops appear! On the streets of the town there are a large number of cozy and cute cafes with beautiful panoramic views of the wonderful nature of the village! In Chernomorets there are a large number of restaurants of Bulgarian cuisine - mehana, offering their visitors a wide variety of Bulgarian traditional dishes! The history of Chernomorets began in 1728. This amazing town is located on a peninsula, on the shore of the bay. Even in the old days, the Greeks called it the Holy Island, St. Nicholas. It is believed that it was he who gave such a name to the island, and until 1951 Chernomorets was called that way - Svyatosti Nikola. In Chernomorets there is a Garden of Eden, as the Black Sea residents call it. It is located in front of the Orthodox Church of St. Nicholas. This temple is unusual. In 1994 there was a fire and everything burned down, but miraculously the wooden cross and the icon of “St. Nicholas” remained unburnt. The parishioners restored the temple on their own.

Saint Nicholas is the patron saint of the sea, the patron saint of Chernomorets.

To the east of the town there is the island of Svyati Ivan and Sozopol is also located there. Chernomorets itself is a small resort town on the southern Black Sea coast of Bulgaria. The resort is located on Strandzha Mountain. 7 km south of the village is the ancient city of Sozopol, and about 20 km north is Burgas, where the nearest international airport is located.

Chernomorets is located in the Burgas region. The town is very compact, you can walk from end to end in 20 - 30 minutes, the population is just over 2100 people. Nowadays many foreigners are buying property in the town itself and in its surroundings.

Chernomorets resort on the map of Bulgaria

There is a beautiful seashore here. The resort has 5 beaches with fine light golden sand, which are separated by beautiful rocky shores and form bays, coves and islands.

The city beach is located in the southern part of the Burgas Bay in an arc like a horseshoe, and therefore the sea, beach and pier are perfectly visible from virtually any point.

The area where Chernomorets is located is only slightly hilly, almost flat. Mount Strandzha is hilly and low. Forests, gardens, vineyards, fields...

The central beach in Chernomorets is sandy, about 30 m wide and 1.5 km long. The entrance to the sea is gentle. Near the shore the sea is shallow, at a distance of about 20-30 m from the shore the depth is no more than 50-60 cm, which is very convenient for families with children. Moreover, with such a shallow depth, the sea warms up very quickly, so you can safely open the swimming season here in mid-May. There are sections of the shore with pebbles, where it is a little deeper.

The eastern part of the beach is a rocky coast; diving and fishing enthusiasts prefer to relax here. And one more, seemingly insignificant, but very useful thing (experienced beachgoers will appreciate it) - there is healing spring water on the beach!

Adjacent to the beach to the east is a small boat parking lot (fishing boats) and behind it a short pier-pier, from which you can even fish. There is another pleasant feature of the local beach: it is oriented from east to west, that is, the sun here rises on one side and sets on the other, as a result of which both the sea and the beach are under the sun all day long.

The beach is somewhat reminiscent of an amphitheater, whose stage is the sea. The beach, sea, pier-pier are perfectly visible from any point. So it’s almost impossible to lose sight of your children.

One of the main advantages of Chernomorets is the cleanliness of the beach and sea. There are paid areas on the beach where there are stationary umbrellas and sun loungers are provided; you can rent catamarans, scooters, jet skis, ride a banana boat or water ski.

In the summer, two small amusement parks are set up - on the square near the center and on the street. “Zornitsa”, near the beach, in the central square there is a colored fountain, next to it there is a stage where you can listen to Bulgarian musicians, singers, bards.

In the summer, the city has many cafes, restaurants, shops, shops that offer traditional Bulgarian cuisine, the prices are very reasonable and significantly lower than in large and famous resorts. In the evening you can visit an open-air disco, listen to live music, and sit in cozy cafes and restaurants. There are no expensive hotels or restaurants here.

The resort is focused on a quiet and relaxing holiday. You can stay here in mini-hotels or in the private sector; the swimming season lasts until mid-October, until mid-June and from mid-September, there are fewer vacationers and it makes sense to take advantage of this opportunity to relax in peace and quiet.

There are good transport connections with Chernomorets, buses and minibuses run regularly to Burgas, Sozopol, Primorsko and Sofia, the route to Istanbul passes next to Chernomorets. Buses run every 30 minutes, which is very convenient.

Cozy family hotels, lush varied vegetation, good tasty food, lots of fresh fruits and berries. The weather is always good and pleasant, there is almost no rain - this is what you need for relaxation. In the evening, surprisingly, there are not even mosquitoes, you can sit quietly and admire the sea.

The Black Sea climate is very suitable for people with problems with the cardiovascular and pulmonary systems.

The climate differs from other regions in its consistency. The water temperature is 25-26 degrees C, and the air temperature is 28-30 C.

Black Sea people are very friendly and smiling.

Rest you will be pleased and sorry to leave this paradise Bulgaria.

This resort town is located on the Black Sea coast. Despite its small size, it is cozy and comfortable and is ideal for a relaxing family holiday. About two and a half thousand people live here permanently.

The city of Chernomorets (Bulgaria) is located in the Burgas region, thirty kilometers from the international airport. Nearby (8 km) are the resorts Duni and Sozopol.

Story

Compared to other resorts in the country, Chernomorets (Bulgaria) has a not so ancient history. The first settlements on these lands appeared in 1728. Then it was a very small fishing village of St. Nicholas. In honor of the patron saint of sailors and fishermen, a magnificent Orthodox church was built in the city.

The city of Chernomorets (Bulgaria): description

The picturesque and very green town of Chernomorets is a great place for those who like to relax on a sparsely populated coastline. There are five beaches here, separated by beautiful rocky shores. A kilometer from the city there is the picturesque Vromos Bay, which is loved by connoisseurs of underwater fishing. And two kilometers from Chernomorets there is a beautiful beach, one of the best in the country - the Gradina campsite, which was previously called Tsarskoe Beach.

Chernomorets (Bulgaria), a photo of which you can see in this article, is mainly built up with one-story buildings. It is very cozy and green - there are many flowers and shrubs in every courtyard. Today this resort is still developing. There are many cozy restaurants and cafes on the shady streets, the windows of which offer panoramic views of the city and the sea.

Chernomorets is a great place for recreation for lovers of fishing, diving, surfing, riding jets and scooters, and boat trips on yachts. And children will surely be amazed by the inflatable water castle.

Chernomorets is famous far beyond its borders for its numerous flower beds and green spaces. This small town has several parks and squares. There are no huge and noisy hotels here, as well as large crowds of vacationers, which is typical for larger resort towns in the country.

Climate

The city, as well as the whole country, has a mild temperate continental climate. The weather in Chernomorets (Bulgaria) is conducive to a beach holiday in the summer. In May, the average air temperature is +20 °C, in June and September - +25 °C, in July and August - +27 °C.

What to see?

Many vacationers traveling to this sunny country do not know what to see in Chernomorets (Bulgaria). First of all, it is magnificent nature, small cozy coves on the coast, beautiful parks and shady squares. But the main attraction of the city is the amazing temple consecrated in honor of St. Nicholas.

It is not at all similar to other similar buildings. His yard has been turned into a real paradise. Every centimeter of it is planted with amazing plants. Orchids and lotuses, lemon trees, heavenly apple trees and kiwis are just some of the inhabitants of this wonderful garden.

The temple was built, as they say, by the whole world, and its construction was completed in 1858. Pilgrims came here not only from all over Bulgaria, but also from abroad to venerate the shrine of the temple - the holy relics of Nicholas. In 1994, a terrible fire destroyed almost all the interior decoration, but many considered it a great miracle that the fire did not touch the wooden cross and the icon of St. Nicholas. Using voluntary donations from townspeople and residents of other regions of the country, the temple was restored in a very short time.

But in 2014, the world community was shocked by the terrible sacrilege. The temple was broken into, and the relics of St. Spyridon and St. Nicholas were stolen from it. In order to somehow calm the feelings of believers, the Italian city of Bari sent a reliquary with the myrrh of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker. The Moscow Patriarchate of the Russian Orthodox Church also helped. She donated the relics of eleven revered and respected saints in our country to the monastery.

Rest

There are not many tourists from Russia in Chernomorets. Bulgarians and residents of other Eastern European countries like to spend their holidays here. This is due to the fact that in the town described, tourists organize their recreation on their own - rent housing, plan leisure time. There are two amusement parks, many restaurants and cafes that serve national cuisine, water attractions on the beach, you can go fishing in the sea or take a walk in the local botanical garden.

They are located in small sea coves and are clean and well-groomed. It is very comfortable to relax here with small children: the entrance to the sea is smooth, the depth increases gradually.

In the south of Bulgaria, summer is early, so the holiday season begins as early as the twentieth of May and ends in the middle and sometimes at the end of October. The best time for vacation is June and September.

It should be noted that this small resort town charmed everyone who happened to visit here. Magnificent nature, mild climate, well-groomed beaches that are not too crowded... The parents who sent young travelers to the children's camp "Chernomorets" (Bulgaria) were also satisfied with their choice. Reviews indicate that the guys had a great time on the coast in the company of their peers. They returned home stronger, refreshed, with a lot of impressions and addresses of new friends with whom they plan to continue communicating.

In the last two matches of the season, the Odessa team had directly opposite results - in the championship they lost to Shakhtar 0:3, in the Cup they won 3:0 over Oleksandriya. The failure in the meeting with the miners was quite predictable (maybe not with the same score, but still), but the fact that the “sailors” could deal with the Alexandrians so easily was a real surprise. This means that if they want and are able to produce the necessary results.

Despite the fact that Mariupol began its journey in the Cup from the 1/8 finals, it was not possible to rest. In the middle of the week, the postponed UPL match took place, the Azov team hosted Dynamo, and nothing good happened in this match for the hosts. Babich’s players were determined to give the Kiev team a fight, they looked aggressive and quite composed, but the “white-blues” beat “Mariupol” in class.

INJURIES

Figures and facts

  • The last match between Chernomorets and Mariupol ended in an insignificant 0:0 draw. In two of the last three meetings between the teams, the referees recorded a goalless world.
  • But not so long ago, in August 2014, the opponents achieved a real fighting draw 3:3, with all the goals scored in the first half.
  • The Azov team's undefeated streak in meetings with Odessa is five games; the last time the “sailors” beat “Mariupol” was in 2013 (1:0). But last year the Mariupol team defeated Chernomorets - 3:0.
  • This season, the charges of Babich and Chervenkov are neighbors in the standings, just one point separates the teams, while they are critically low in the relegation zone.
  • If the problem of “Mariupol” is in weak defense - 16 goals conceded, then the main problem of “Chernomorets” with a weak attack is only 7 goals scored.
  • Odessa lost in the last three matches of the championship with a total score of 1:6.
  • Mariupol has scored in all matches this season, with the only exception being the matches against Shakhtar and Dynamo.

INDICATIVE COMPOSITIONS

In a similar situation, “Chernomorets” and “Mariupol”, the teams had three full days to recover, which is quite enough for the players in modern conditions. Footballers often like to repeat that playing is much better than training - so the opportunity presented itself to hold another official match in a week. There is no doubt that everyone who is ready for the match will play today. Let us note that two days ago the Odessa team reinforced itself with the Dutch midfielder Robert Mützers, but he is unlikely to be ready to make his debut in the UPL.

“Mariupol”: Galchuk - Tishchenko, Yavorsky, Dava, Demiri - Fedorchuk, Mishnev, - Churko, Fomin, Zubkov - Boryachuk.

“Chernomorets”: Litovchenko - Romanyuk, Ryzhuk, Grachov, Trubochkin - Savchenko, Babenko - Leonov, Musolitin, Chorny - Koval.

FORECAST

It is very difficult to predict the result of this confrontation and much will become clear after the first ten minutes of the meeting. If Chervenkov prefers the tactics of closed football, this will not bring anything good, but if the Odessa residents take advantage of the guests’ mistakes in defense, then something might work out for Chernomorets. “Mariupol” looks like the favorite of the match, the Azov team will play first and will undoubtedly score at least once. Forecast - Mariupol win 2:1 .

In principle, I liked the city of Chernomorets.

In principle, I liked the city of Chernomorets. Small, cozy, but I wouldn’t recommend it for a holiday at sea. The central beach is small, all occupied by paid sun loungers, there are a lot of people, it’s cramped. The beach is not cleaned! There may be cigarette butts, cups, etc. lying around. The beach is partly sandy, partly pebble and with large stones. I got the impression that the sea was dirty after all, + our child caught some kind of infection and was sick with a high fever. Prices in stores are higher than the average in Burgas and Pomorie. The rate at exchange offices is lower than even at Burgas airport! One thing that pleased me was that there are many restaurants and cafes with good food and reasonable prices. And nearby there is also a NATO base, which was an eyesore with its radar and was simply annoying! Chernomorets can be recommended for a short stay - a couple of days.

20-25 minutes walk from Sveti Nikola.

20-25 minutes walk from Sveti Nikola. The most interesting thing is in the evening - people come away from the heat and perk up. The smell of fried fish is everywhere (not at all like what we smell when someone fries frozen capelin). There is a “Meat” store where you can buy pork and beef that have not been frozen, immediately turn them into minced meat (for free) and cook juicy cutlets. Impeccably tasty sea fish (it seems like the Black Sea fish, but I can’t say for sure) - sea bass (local sea bass, but grilled it is completely different) and blackfish (necessarily on the grill - “on skara”). Local draft beer does not give you a headache, unlike wine.
