Sanya jingli lai resort 4 china sanya. Alaiye Resort & Spa Hotel – Reviews. Territory and services

It's not as bad as everyone makes it out to be.
My husband and I gathered together for the May holidays to relax.
After reading the reviews, I was ready for anything. Everything is written here frankly and in detail, so all the points were taken into account, but I would like to leave a review from myself as well. there are not many "fresh" May 2017 reviews.
So.
The flight was very long and difficult. 11 hours from Moscow..
We were met by a Chinese with a sign Rustura and showed us where to go to the bus. The road was not long, but after the plane I got sick. I had a terrible sore throat and runny nose. This is what I mean: we arrived at the hotel at 12 o’clock, and there the hotel guide Lyosha was waiting for us (a wonderful and very kind person, I’m serious!) And he stunned us with the news that it takes 3.5 hours to check in and offered to spend all this time lobby or go to eat at another hotel. Because my throat hurt terribly and the check-in was not soon, we left our things and went on a free transfer to some other hotel in a godforsaken cafe, where they played the same song for an hour.
We waited for check-in, paid a $100 deposit (at the end of the holiday it is most often returned if you didn’t break, steal or break anything), they gave a room on the 5th floor 5024 (it seems like such a number) .. I’ll run ahead and tell you what, already at the end of our stay, my husband broke one glass. We looked for a similar Pineapple in the shopping center, but did not find anything like it. We had to pay for a broken glass upon check out, but our deposit was returned.
You can talk endlessly about the number .. And so I'll start:
Pros:
Good AC - not very noisy;
-Comfortable shower
-Daily given disposable toothbrushes, toothpaste and comb (plastic - probably only suitable for a man or woman with short hair), shower gel and shampoo were in large containers (like soap in public toilets)
- There was a small film library in English on the TV. language. Every evening and at lunch we watched some interesting movie! This is a huge plus, there are action films, melodramas, and children's comedies. Cartoons are paid..
-Give out a lot of pillows. Two flat pillows per person and one decorative pillow.

A small bar fridge was in a cabinet downstairs. We cleaned fruit there or something that we didn’t eat in the cafe. In all cafes, you could ask to take it with you. They pack everything in containers, but they charge a small surcharge for this.
There was a safe next to the refrigerator. We have never used it, because. hotel staff are very polite. For all 7 days of rest nothing was missing!
From the pros of the room everything.

There are a lot of cons too:
-weak wifi
- no free drinking water in the room
-No balcony in the room!
- "scratched" furniture, stained chairs
The view from the window was on the road, a store, a pharmacy and a neighboring hotel, a little bit of a sea view was captured from the side. It was soothing. But the window itself is terrible, with some kind of bullet shot in it (I'm attaching a photo).
On the very first day, tiny ants started up in my cosmetic bag with medicines. Probably because, basically, tablets with a sweet shell.
Housekeeping was bad.
I will write more about this:
We once bought a giant mango, ate it in the room and accidentally dripped - made a couple of three spots on the sheet. The next morning, the cleaning lady took off this stained linen and left it by the TV, laying out a new bed for us. We thought that she forgot to pick it up, but just in case, we put Alyonka's chocolate bar on top of the sheet, so that she would certainly take the "forgotten" linen to wash. The next day she also left the sheets, laying them stained up. I didn’t take the chocolate, I put it aside. The next morning, we already left 20 yuan. So she finally took our stained sheets to wash. But those that she made for us three days ago, she didn’t change more during our entire vacation. And every day she either gave towels dirty, stained, or left ours, just folding them again, even if they were wet.
I did not want to swear on my vacation. There is enough negativity in Moscow, so I was glad that I took a large towel with me from home - I used it in the shower, in the pool, and at sea.
It's not far to go to the sea. There are several exits from the hotel. One is the main one, where tourists come for the first time. The second exit is the exit to the bus stop and to the sea. The sea is right across the road. If you exit the second exit, facing the road, then turning right and walking for 5-7 minutes will be a cafe near Lena. We only went there at the end of the holiday and were very upset that we had not gone there before. There, on the menu, there was EVERYTHING that we were looking for in different cafes in Hainan, but in the end we found it there. Traditional cuisine, Russian-speaking manager. Prices are roughly the same everywhere - expensive. As in Moscow prices, somewhere more expensive.
In Thailand, of course, cheaper!
Let's go back to the exits from the hotel. There is also a third exit. He leads one third-rate to the cafe. You need to pass by the photo studio (pass on the left) to go to the cafe. You can shorten it if you want to walk past fruits and restaurants.
Opposite the second exit from the hotel there is a bus stop. From there, take buses 26 or 8 and go to Dadonghai Bay. This is Chinese Pattaya. There life boils and there are many shopping centers. Winter (consumer goods), Summer (expensive shopping center, local Central Department Store) and Pineapple shopping center. Decent mall in the shape of a Pineapple. It is both beautiful in appearance and with many shops inside. I am attaching a photo. Especially beautiful when they turn on the backlight..
If you leave the hotel from the second exit (sorry for the pun), but do not cross the road, then by bus you can get to the Thermal Springs and the Buddhist Center. Drive to the b.centre min. 40. A ticket costs approximately 100 yuan. Still cheaper than the tour operator. It is better to take Monkey Island and Romantic Park from a tour operator. It will be more problematic and more expensive to get to these places on your own.
And now about the hotel in general:
At the main entrance, on the facade of the building, a lot of bird nests have bred, similar to swallows, only without characteristic tails. At the entrance on the left is an expensive clothing store for hotel guests, on the right is the reception. They don't speak English or Russian at the reception. The only thing that can be done at the reception is to play the Crocodile game (a game of pantomime), because otherwise they will not understand ANYTHING..
The rat was only seen once. And we were scared...
The area is very beautiful, especially their tropical mini garden. There grows a beautiful tree with plumeria and creepers. And then there is a tennis court, where photo shoots of Chinese brides and grooms are held in the evening. They are everywhere in Hainan (both photo agencies and future newlyweds). They go to Hainan for a pre-wedding photo session so that there are already photos at the wedding.
They didn't interfere much, only in the evening there were constant "bride in a boat" photosets by the pool. It got in the way a little when I wanted to swim.
The hotel dining room overlooks the pool and when you have breakfast the view is just amazing! Breakfasts are so-so. From the assortment: rice / pasta / funchose (varies daily), scrambled eggs, soup, rice porridge for children, 2 types of cabbage (spicy and not spicy), watermelon (nothing else from fruit!), Incomprehensible water, similar to tea, coffee at the bar on request, steamed buns and sooo delicious coconut bun. Because of her, I gained 2 kg during my vacation!! :)
You can only ask for coffee at the bar. They don't make cocktails like in other hotels. Alcohol they have is for beauty. When we asked if they had any, they answered us through an auto-translator - wouldn't it be easier for you to buy alcohol in a store. Very simple people.
The Chinese, by the way, are for the most part very pleasant people. It was the people that I liked the most ... well, and also mangoes. Such a mango, as on about. Hainan is nowhere in the world! They grow a unique mango variety with the thinnest bone. I don’t even know how they propagate this variety, because. I tried to plant a seed, but nothing comes out of it..
As for souvenirs, it is worth bringing Hainan mango (you can bring 5 kg per person), coconut vodka in small bottles, Chinese sweets (there are a lot of them in the Pineapple shopping center in the grocery supermarket), coconut and mango powder, which is added to coffee or milk for taste (I advise !!) and binlan....ask the guide what it is;)
Total what we have: The hotel is not bad, a lot of pluses and minuses. They balance each other so much that I think it will be suitable for one vacation as a couple.

Catch my review of the Lae Lay Suites hotel with a nice modern interior and a swimming pool, which is located between Kata and Karon. In general, a good place.

After visiting Phi Phi, I decided not to return to the same hotel, but to check into a new one, it's more interesting. And he changed not only the hotel, but also the beach from Patong to Kata. The beaches of Kata and Kata Noi, it seems to me, are most suitable for a more or less relaxing holiday in Phuket. Well, as far as possible, because the island is quite busy and there are a lot of vacationers on it during the season.

Be sure (and I insist) to check for discounts or special offers on an excellent service. It will quickly and easily show you discounts in all existing booking systems. In the same Asia, for example, there are a lot of offers on Agoda.com, which are much more interesting than exactly the same hotels on Booking.com.

View of the Kata area, red - Makro supermarket

Cons: Small bathroom. Two watering cans are different and the fact that they are not over the toilet is good. But really tight. Perhaps if the door opened outward, it would be more convenient. Plus, the shower is not even separated by a curtain, as a result, the entire floor then becomes wet. And I did not like that the hot water is so-so regulated, sometimes cold, sometimes too hot. Soap accessories (soap, shampoo in test tubes) were put. And the last minus - it's a bit dark in the evening in the room, not enough light. But during the day it's fine, because the window is huge.

There was no internet in the room. At all. The access point seemed to be hanging on the floor, but in the room the laptop saw it only occasionally and could not connect to it. But the Internet flew in the lobby, 20 megabits in both directions. In general, either the dots were rarely hung too often, then it was on my floor that there were problems.

Territory and services

The hotel consists of two buildings opposite each other across the lane. It is small and dead end, so there is no movement at all. If you walk from the road, then the building is on the right with the reception (I lived in it), and there are only rooms. In the building on the left are suites, a swimming pool and a restaurant where breakfast is served. By the way, this building even has an elevator, but for some reason it was made only from the second floor, somehow stupid. With a baby stroller it will already be inconvenient, at least one flight will have to be dragged by yourself.

The pool is small but long! I approve when they do it. Better not square, but narrower and elongated, although you can swim normally. But the pool opening hours are strange from 10:30 am to 19 pm. How is that in general?

Kata Beach Hotel - Lae Lay Suites

Breakfast is also there, near the pool. It runs from 6:30 to 10:30. Early time is wonderful, you can have time to eat before excursions. Standard without any frills, just like in all three-ruble notes. Tea, coffee, juices. By the way, coffee from the coffee machine, which pleases. 3-4 fruits, salad set. Jam toast and pancakes. Cornflakes with milk, for some reason not every day there were oatmeal. From hot sausage, noodles with egg, boiled rice, vegetables with chicken. Hot varies, but plus or minus seems to be about three courses. It's funny, there was an announcement that for trying to steal food from the dining room - a fine of 500 baht.

Laundry is expensive, the price is not per kilogram, but for each specific item.

For the very lazy, there is a transfer to the beaches of Kata and Karon 3 times a day: 10:30, 14:30 and 16:30. But only in one direction. Also at the hotel you can rent a bike for 300 baht / day, they give good new bikes (at least they gave me one). The price is the same as everywhere else, do not weld on. They do not take a passport as a pledge and do not look meticulously when taking it back.

Map and location

The location is not bad, although it will not appeal to those who are used to the first line. Here she is not even the second. But this has its advantages. First, you need to know that the entire first line on Kata Beach is occupied by the huge Club Med hotel. And you can't go through it. Therefore, only along the edges, there are just roads. Therefore, if you live on Katya, then either at the end of the beach or at the beginning, otherwise you will have to walk and go around. Thus, a person living closer to the sea, but in the middle, will not get to shore much faster than someone living in Lae Lay Suites. In short, it takes 10-15 minutes to go to Kata beach. The path is inconvenient only at the very beginning, you need to walk 50 meters along the road with heavy traffic and cross it, and then there will be sidewalks and the road is much less busy. And if you go the other way, then in 15-20 minutes you will be on Karon. Conveniently, there is a choice of where to go swimming.

Although the hotel is on a hill, the uphill climb is quite insignificant. A large Makro supermarket, as well as 7-eleven and Tesco Express mini markets are within a 5-minute walk. Cafes are here. And the market, in principle, is also not far away. In general, the whole area here is small, you can quickly get around.

P.S. To be honest, maybe I'm picking up, but with each new hotel I have higher and higher requirements. More experience, and more I begin to pay attention to all sorts of little things. Moreover, in my head there is already apparently some kind of collective image of an ideal hotel, which has absorbed only the pluses from all the places where I have stayed. But the hotel is still good, I immediately remember that it was about the same there.

It's not as bad as everyone makes it out to be.
