"Island of the Enchanted Forest" - a large skating rink on Revolution Square - one of the main venues for the Journey to Christmas festival. From December 18 to January 10, ballet on ice directed by figure skater Pyotr Chernyshev will be shown here twice a day.

The atmosphere of the holiday is perfectly conveyed by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky's ballets The Nutcracker and Swan Lake. The first can be seen during the day, and the second in the evening. Russian and foreign figure skating stars take part in the productions, and the stands can accommodate up to 3,000 spectators.

Guests of the festival will be able to ice skate in the morning and between performances. There is also a warm locker room and skate rental.

In the Enchanted Forest, street theater actors will also arrange interactive performances with the participation of everyone. As in many other venues, on Revolution Square you can buy New Year's decorations and souvenirs.

The main participants of the festival will be the street theaters Svetlitsa, Paranorma and Pololo, and the headliner will be Fire People. The artists of this group will try on the images of fieks - inhabitants of the snow-covered New Year's islands.
