Second time in ALAIYE.
This was the very first hotel in Turkey that I visited. Therefore, having arrived again, I was very afraid that it would get worse. No! It got more expensive, but better. Except the Internet, but first things first.

We flew with Tez Tour and corendon airline. Of course, they do not belong to the hotel, but I would like to say thank you. Unlike Anekse and Teza, there were many times better guides (meeting / seeing off / at the hotel / on excursions), and the Turkish low-cost airline turned out to be better than the same "Russia" in terms of comfort, lack of delays, speed and two entrances / exits from the plane. And now directly about the hotel.

Settlement. We arrived at the hotel around 10:30. We were sent for a late breakfast. Then we took a bathing suit from our luggage, changed into a hammam (there is a shower and changing rooms equipped), we were given towels on parole without cards, and we went to the beach. Around 13:00 settled in a room in the main building overlooking the pool. Last time they were also in the main building, but the windows faced the mosque. The difference is this: on the day of arrival, we could not take a nap during the day because of the loud animation by the pool. But then nothing interfered with our sleep. The first time we heard calls to prayer was at five in the morning. In honor of the return visit, they brought a bottle of wine and fruit to the room. Nice bonus, thanks. On the day of arrival, the beds in the room were separate. It did not interfere, but on the third day one of the service personnel guessed to move them and re-lay them. Thanks for this.

Service. When we checked in, the room was frankly dirty: petals under the bed, dirt on the balcony. The very next day, without any complaints, everything was fixed and a clean room was waiting for us all week. True, the cleaning time is not the most convenient: apparently around 14:00. Bumped a couple of times. They left small Russian chocolates. But I don't think it had any effect. Furniture, cleaning quality - everything is 5. At first they hid cards and cash in a suitcase, then they began to calmly leave it on the table - there were no incidents.

Number. Unlike last time, there were glasses in the bathroom, you could pour bottled water when brushing your teeth. Gels and shampoos are not available, you need to bring. There is a gel aka shampoo on the wall in the bathroom, but, in my opinion, the usual liquid soap. All sorts of little things like cotton buds lay, but were not replenished. The refrigerator was replenished with juice (I don’t know, we haven’t tried it), mineral water and plain water. They always put it down, even if they didn’t drink the previous one.

Internet. Wi-Fi has become many times worse compared to 2017. It is not paid (although I read the opposite in reviews), but it is almost non-existent. The room was caught in the morning, at 5-6 o'clock. I also took it well from the restaurant, in the lobby and sometimes by the pool. The more people became, the less the Internet. Naturally). You can’t work with this, it’s difficult to call, but there was enough to read the news in Yandex.

Population. Until June 20, almost no Russian was heard, mostly foreigners. Approximately from 21 percent 80 became compatriots. It's just a sketch. Not bad, not good.

Elevators. This problem persisted. I don’t know how it was in other buildings, but in the main it was inconvenient. We went down on foot (4th floor, but actually 6th), upstairs - sometimes. But the wait is long. Strange people went up one floor. At the same time, they are not lame, without strollers, children, etc. In general, it is quite possible to warm up. On the day of departure, the lights went out for half an hour, the elevators and air conditioners died. Then everything was restored, it seems like no one was stuck in the elevators.

Beach. Yes, the beach is SMALL. But there the whole bay is small and each hotel has a tiny stretch on the coast. But the sand is perfect. There is fine sand everywhere, no stones are even implied, the entry is gentle, but not too long. There is almost no garbage on the beach (at the end of the vacation I only met cigarette butts). The beach is monitored, it is cleaned, empty sunbeds help to find it. Yes, it is best to come at 7.30 and indicate your presence, and then not be impudent and come to 9. There are still places available at 9. From 11 am they are also there. The re-influx happens after four. But it never happened, no matter what time they came, that there was nowhere to lie down.

Sea. This is an ideal, clean sea. At the buoys, the bottom is visible to the smallest detail. Up to living creatures - stingrays, algae, etc. The best sea in Turkey, in my opinion.

Animation. So much for me) But I really don’t like it, so I can’t adequately evaluate it. There was always some kind of activity in the pool. Well, and olele-olyalya-olelel-olyalya in the evening for the children.

Hotel staff. Beautiful people. Everything has changed for the better in two years. By the way, there were never any issues with communication, there was no need even for basic English, we agreed with everyone in Russian. This time they showed attention, brought appliances, and even glasses a couple of times. Yes, mostly serve the Germans. But they do pay. Tips are given for every dinner. At the reception, too, everything went smoothly, a certain gentleman settled us, and not a Russian-speaking young lady, whom I read about in the reviews. But before leaving, Tatyana was at the reception, who helped us navigate in the search for information.

Food. I gave it a four last time. Everything is relative. Awesome food in this hotel. Tired of river trout every day? Well, I'm sorry... NOT a themed dinner only on Sunday and kind of like on Monday. The rest of the time we were entertained with fish fans, Turkish cuisine evenings, local region evenings, cocktail evenings, etc. At one meal, you could find at least three types of protein: poultry / fish / meat. Beef, lamb, turkey, chicken, trout, pike perch, mackerel... There were tomatoes, cucumbers, herbs, olives uncut into the salad. Of the fruits, only watermelon was beautiful. But we went to the market and bought strawberries for 5 liras and cherries for 8. That is, each berry is less than a hundred.

Alcohol. The choice of strong alcohol (it is registered at each bar) is small: vodka, gin, brandy and something else. Definitely no Baileys and whiskey. I was just clarifying, because reviews often ask. The whiskey was kind of under the counter in the lobby, as was the champagne. On the beach, only beer (and that's fine, the people were adequate). Drinks until one in the morning, it's spelled out. On the day of departure, if you leave after 12:00 no alcohol is served. And this is not greed, obviously, everything else is unlimited. Just (as I understand it) so as not to catch drunk tourists later. We once waited for 40 minutes for vacationers on the bus, we could not find them, then seat them, and then find where they could go to the toilet. So I support the initiative. From non-alcoholic delicious ayran and tea from teapots. Freshly squeezed juices for 1.5 euros. Free - local invite.

Alaya park. It is located across the street from the hotel and has been transformed in two years. There are many cities, a children's water town, a garden, olive and fruit trees, cakes and ice cream without restrictions. I recommend everyone to visit at least once.

Regarding food at the hotel: I got the impression that the hotel administration is completely saving on food, because. meat was only chicken or turkey (this is not the level of a 5 star hotel !!), and the same dishes: stewed poultry with vegetables, stuffed vegetables and some kind of chicken shawarma ... No beef, no lamb for 2 weeks stay at the hotel, we have never seen... Vegetables: every day we spread peeled tomatoes cut into quarters with WHITE!!! cores!!! Periodically sour ((Question: tomatoes do not ripen in Turkey ??? Or can Russians be fed green nitrates as well ?? Having read rave reviews about the delicacies of this hotel (strawberries, cherries, shrimp) of the previous year, we have never seen ANYTHING like this !!!
In general, after looking at all this disgrace for several days, I went to talk at the reception with the administration (Nadezhda), who explained to me that unripe tomatoes are normal, pink watermelons are also ... (like it’s not the season yet), and strawberries and cherries - everything goes for export, although 300 meters from the hotel, cherries and strawberries were sold at $ 2 per kg .... , red meat in the menu is in the form of minced meat in stuffed vegetables ... and they will not change anything, because. serving beef and other meat is expensive for a hotel… So draw your own conclusions.. If you are ready to go to a 5 star hotel and eat one chicken and turkey, this is your choice… I can say that after talking with the administrator, the only thing grilled turkey steaks and the same grilled chicken appeared ...
Kas. cleaning and service in the rooms - the staff does not understand either English or Russian: for 2 weeks for four people we were given 2 tiny shampoos, and when we explained on our fingers at the end of the holiday that it would be nice to add shampoos (because we are on them calculated in a 5 * star hotel) the maid showed that she did not have them ... And here there is total savings even on small things ...
The animation at the hotel is decent, the only thing is that when there are discos by the pool in the evening (every other day). then no one can sleep in the room until 23.30 .... because. all buildings are located around the pool. I don’t know how small children are put to bed at the same time, of which there are a huge number in the hotel ...
Now Cas. beach: the beach is excellent, sand, shallow entrance to the sea, the hotel has its own piece of the beach, but which LACKS LOUNGES!!! for everyone who wants a hotel ((The earlier you come, the more places are occupied, I advise you to come at 10.30-11.00, some sunbeds apparently begin to free up ....
That's probably all that I would like to warn those wishing to relax in this hotel ... Decide for yourself what you are ready to get for your money ..
In general, Turkey disappointed this time ... (I was 3 years ago in Kemer, also in a 5 star hotel, heaven and earth in comparison ...)
Another small remark regarding the tour operator Aneks-tour, as I understand it, they occupy a leading position in the tourist services market in Turkey, they took an excursion to the fortress of Alanya from them, and so we were accompanied by a Turkish guide by nationality, although only Russian tourists went on the tour, to perceive information in broken Russian from which it was difficult ... Usually worthy agencies do not do this ...
