Modifications

Airbus A319 exists in four modifications.

Tactical and technical characteristics (design features)

The A319 is a low-wing aircraft with a vertical keel (lower elevators) and a swept wing. Two engines are placed under the bearing planes. Such an aerodynamic design is today typical for almost all manufacturers of passenger aircraft.

Approximately one-fifth of the liner is made of composite materials, which at the time of its introduction was a notable innovation. All elements of the mechanization of the wing, vertical tail and elevators are equipped with hydraulic drives, which are controlled by on-board computers. Seats from the first to the 5th row belong to the business class. The gap between the seats is more spacious than in the economy. If you choose a place in which there will be the largest legroom - definitely choose the 1st row.

If we talk about the economy class, convenient places can be called from the 6th to the 8th row, inclusive. The partition in the 6th, of course, will prevent you from stretching your legs, but no one will recline the chair in front. There are fasteners for transporting baby carriers. Another advantage - starting with it, they serve food in the cabin.

Row 7 is located near the emergency exit. The seats do not recline, however, in case of an emergency, passengers are among the first to leave the plane.

In the 8th row, places marked A and F are located next to the emergency hatch. Armchairs are uncomfortable, tilted, but there is a lot of legroom.

Marking pointsb,c,D and E are the best in the economy class. Passengers carrying animals and passengers with children will definitely not be placed here.

The airline has two layouts for the A319 cabin. In the first version, the layout looks like this.

In economy class, row 3 is the first. Here in front is a curtain that separates the two classes. The passenger can easily stretch their legs forward. Another advantage is that in front no one will recline the back of the chair. From this row, the distribution of food and drinks begins.

In the 8th row, the seats are fixed and do not recline, this causes inconvenience, but close to the emergency exit.

The best seats are in row 9. There is plenty of legroom and an emergency exit nearby.
