How long does it take to get from mui ne to nha trang. How to get from Nha Trang to Ho Chi Minh (Saigon) Phan Rang - Mui Ne - Phan Thiet - Mekong - about. Phu Quoc - Cambodia and neighboring countries. The road from Ho Chi Minh City to Mui Ne on the map

What is better Nha Trang or Phan Thiet, quite new resorts in the Russian market of the tour industry, let's figure it out! So, what is there interesting, where to go to rest in Vietnam? Today we will talk about, perhaps, the two most popular resorts in Vietnam called Phan Thiet and Nha Trang.

Previously, very often we heard that many vacationed in Thailand. Pattaya, Phuket, Koh Samui - the resorts have long been familiar, everyone has heard of them. Every year, more and more often, one hears: “And we were on vacation in Vietnam!”.

So, let's start getting enlightened. Where do tourists go to rest in Vietnam? What to choose Phan Thiet or Nha Trang? Both resorts are located on the coast of the South China Sea, the distance from Nha Trang to Phan Thiet is on average about 200-250 km. At first glance, it seems that it is very close, so there is no significant difference, but this is not entirely true.

Beaches

Firstly, Nha Trang is a city where one of the best beaches is located in the heart. Most of the hotels are built in the city center, no matter how "star" the hotel has, the beach is across the road.

Phan Thiet is also a city, only the sea itself and the hotels are not located in Phan Thiet itself, but, as it were, on the outskirts of the city, closer to the village of Mui Ne. Therefore, holidays in Phan Thiet and Mui Ne are one and the same. And the rest here is more calm, homely.

This is where the main thing lies. difference between Nha Trang and Phan Thiet! In the last 90% of hotels it is on the first line, you go to the sea through the hotel, without crossing the road!

In general, crossing the road in Nha Trang is not particularly annoying. And when you are lying on the beach, the noise of the road does not really distract from relaxation, as the wind blowing from the sea takes away all the din from the beach. But during the day, merchants scurry around (a little, but still), locals swim (since the beaches in Vietnam are municipal throughout the territory, but simply common!), In the evening, there is nowhere for an apple to fall on the beach, as the locals rest there, arrange gatherings etc. At sunset, the promenade, on which the beach is located, is illuminated by lanterns.

In Phan Thiet, things are different. The beaches are also public, but due to the fact that they are far from the road, in the evening, except for tourists and hotel security guards, you will not meet anyone there. You can safely sit on the sun loungers or in the restaurant at the hotel overlooking the sea!

During the day in Nha Trang there are a lot of locals on the beach, in Phan Thiet you rarely see locals on the beach, only tourists walking along the sea.

And in Phan Thiet, and in Nha Trang, almost every hotel offers its guests free sunbeds, towels and umbrellas.

Prices

We have been in Nha Trang and Phan Thiet, so I can objectively say that, of course, Phan Thiet is cheaper, but not much, by 5-7% maximum. And prices largely depend on where you eat. If you choose by price, then there is no significant difference.

Fish and seafood

Perhaps, citizens from all over the world go to Vietnam to try the gifts of the sea, rivers and lakes and other inhabitants of our planet. Here they eat everything that swims, runs, jumps, etc.

The range of all sorts of goodies is rich in both Phan Thiet and Nha Trang. But there are some differences, for example, in Nha Trang I did not see scorpions on the menu, and in Phan Thiet there is no beloved sea grape!

Excursions

By and large, you will not be bored either there or there, there is where to see and go. The only advantage Nha Trang has is that Vinpearl Island is located there, where you can go even every day and not get bored.

Entertainment and nightlife

The Vietnamese are such a people that they go to bed early and get up early. It is customary for them to lay down on the side at about 22.00-23.00 and get up at 5 in the morning. Such a way of life. Therefore, the nightlife is not very stormy, but still there.

Here Nha Trang wins, as there are more than 2 times more places for those who like to dance at night or eat. But in Phan Thiet, there are 2-3 places where you can go at 3 am if you don’t sleep. And, by the way, in Phan Thiet, although there are fewer nightly entertainments, all the establishments are located right on the seashore! So you dance, and even through the loud music you can hear the sound of the waves, and the sea breeze is pleasantly refreshing.

Where is better, Phan Thiet or Nha Trang I can't say we liked both there and there. More than once we will definitely visit both Nha Trang and Phan Thiet.

If you are traveling on your own, you can visit both popular resorts in Vietnam at a time. Moreover, there are problems with How to get from Nha Trang to Phan Thiet, will not arise, the easiest way is either a bus, which is more economical, or a taxi, which is more comfortable and faster.

It's up to you to decide! But anyway, you won't regret it! Phan Thiet and Nha Trang- these 2 resorts in Vietnam are worth a visit!

Phan Thiet is famous for its beautiful beaches and good surfing conditions. Some tourists vacationing in Nha Trang want to go to Phan Thiet to look at this city and the neighboring village of Mui Ne. In addition, there are tourists who fly to Nha Trang on their own, then to go to Phan Thiet.

But if you want to get from Nha Trang to Phan Thiet, spending as little money as possible, you can use the bus or train.

Bus Nha Trang - Phan Thiet

To get to Phan Thiet by bus, you need to take the bus going to Ho Chi Minh City. It is advisable to first find out if this bus goes through Phan Thiet. Remember that most buses to Ho Chi Minh City depart in the morning. How long does it take to get from Nha Trang to Phan Thiet by bus? As a rule, the duration of the trip is about 5 hours.
It is worth noting that a bus with berths, called "slip bus", runs to Ho Chi Minh City through Phan Thiet. The cost of a bus ticket Nha Trang - Phan Thiet is about 6 dollars. Even if you travel with four people, the bus fare will be about 4 times lower than the cost of a taxi ride.

Trains Nha Trang - Phan Thiet

There are 2 trains daily from Nha Trang to Phan Thiet. The first train leaves at 08:35 and the second at 19:49. Fare starts at $13 (hard seat).

The morning train arrives in Phan Thiet at about 12:30, which means that you can spend a few hours in Phan Thiet and then go back to Nha Trang by evening bus or train.

You need to look not so much for transport directly to Mui Ne, but for buses and trains to Phan Thiet, one of the areas of which is the resort village of Mui Ne (the distance between them is about ten kilometers).

The distance between Nha Trang and Phan Thiet is not very large by Vietnamese standards and does not exceed 250 kilometers. The easiest, fastest, but at the same time the most expensive way to get there is a taxi. A one-way trip on such transport will cost about $ 120 (even if four people go, it will turn out to be a little expensive).

Buses are the most popular among tourists. Finding a direct bus from Nha Trang to Phan Thiet can be problematic, so it's best to pay attention to the buses that go to Ho Chi Minh, just make sure that the bus you choose calls at Phan Thiet. These buses usually leave in the morning. Usually the travel time is about 5-7 hours. The ticket price starts from 6-7 dollars per person one way.

Every day, two trains depart from Nha Trang to Phan Thiet (it is possible that their number will be increased in the near future). The first train leaves at half past eight in the morning, and the second around eight in the evening. The train ride takes about 4 hours, but the fare is slightly higher than the bus ride (the cost of a hard seat starts from $13-15). The train is not very convenient because the railway station is not located directly in Phan Thiet, but 15 kilometers from the city, which will entail additional taxi costs. From the point of view of economy, buses are the most profitable mode of transport.

You can buy a ticket in Nha Trang to Phan Thiet or even Mui Ne not only at the box office of bus stations. You just need to go for a walk along the coast and there you will find a lot of local travel agencies (some of them even have Russian-speaking employees). These agencies sell not only excursions, but also bus tickets to different directions. You can go on a trip on two types of buses: Sleeping Bus - with lying places and Sitting Bus with seated places. There is no difference in ticket prices and travel time. It is better to buy tickets for the morning flight on a regular bus with seats. In this case, during the trip you will have a great opportunity to enjoy the beautiful landscapes that open outside the window. About 5-10% of five percent pass along the coast, but the rest of the time you can observe mountains, fields, temples, small local villages and other interesting places. It makes sense to choose a night sleeping Bus only if you decide to go to Mui Ne for one day and thus you can sleep on the way and save on housing.

Do you know what two tourists vacationing in Vietnam will argue about? Where is better: in Nha Trang or Mui Ne? Personally, I liked Nha Trang for its amusement park. If I was delighted with him, then you can imagine the feelings of the children of our friends! Mui Ne is suitable for a relaxing holiday, honeymooners are all in Mui Ne, this resort is for you! Of course, you still need to take into account the climate, some 150 km to the south - and it's not so rainy anymore. Then choose for yourself, and I will tell you how to get there.

By bus

Mopeds in Vietnam are the national mode of transport, and if for some reason it is not suitable, then buses are used. But public transport is not the most comfortable in the country, and it moves slowly. For tourists there is a special type of buses - slipbuses, where you can move between cities with maximum comfort, as far as possible in a bus.

It takes five hours to cover the distance from Nha Trang to Mui Ne. These buses run on schedule, but not like regular routes from bus stations. Flights are operated by travel agencies, which, in addition to turnkey vacations, also provide such services. Buses depart from the travel agency, but in Mui Ne they can also bring you to the hotel.

There are 4 direct flights in total: two from Sinhtourist and two from Hanhcafe. The schedule is on the websites, these are two evening (at 20:00 and 20:30) and two morning (at 7:15 and 8:00) flights:

Travel agency addresses:

Buying tickets

Tickets are sold at the offices of travel agencies, Sinhtourist has the opportunity to buy tickets on the site. Tickets are also sold in guesthouses, the hotel adds a small commission to the cost. You can also discuss with the agency a transfer from the hotel to the bus, this will not affect the price, but the minibus can come for you a couple of hours before departure. This is not always convenient, because besides you, other tourists will also be picked up along the way, and you will have to ride around the city.

Price

A ticket in Mui Ne costs 110 thousand dong. (4 euros).

By train

In my opinion, the bus is the most convenient option, but you can travel by train. If the station in Nha Trang is located right in the city:

That in Mui Ne there is no railway at all, and there are no direct flights to the nearest one, in Phan Thiet. By train, you can get to Muong Man Station (Bình Thuận):

I do not recommend waiting for the train to Phan Thiet (it runs once a day, at 10:07), and then change to a bus in Mui Ne. Better then take a taxi and drive directly to the hotel. The train travels 4 hours, but another hour, or even longer, you will get to the sea. Plus expensive tickets and taxis - no benefits.

Buying tickets

Train tickets can be bought at the station and on the railway website, but the website does not always accept payment, depending on the type of card. Also, the hotel can help with the purchase of tickets (with a surcharge).

Price

A train ticket is expensive compared to a bus - 82 thousand dong (3 euros) will cost travel on wooden benches, and tickets for a compartment or a car with easy chairs cost at least 150 thousand dong (5.5 euros). The taxi driver will ask for 20-25 euros. Be sure to agree on a price before the trip, give money only when you arrive at the place.

By car

Car rental is not very common in Vietnam, the fact is that you can only drive a car with a license issued in the country. With the rights of an international standard, you need to go to a special department and issue a temporary certificate, this will take a week. Patrol rights are checked, especially for drivers of European appearance.

By plane

There are no suitable airports near Mui Ne, so it is impossible to get there by plane.

Outcome

We traveled by bus, I didn’t even consider another option. I can’t say that five hours passed like five minutes, but we arrived comfortably. We got on the bus near the travel agency, there was even a mini-waiting room.
