Vnukovo transit zone. Where is Vnukovo Airport located? Parking spaces in Vnukovo

Vnukovo Airport is the oldest in Moscow. It consists of three main terminals, which are designated by the letters A, B, D. When answering the question of how many terminals there are in Vnukovo, in addition to these three, it is also necessary to mention the government terminal (Vnukovo-2) and the complex for VIP clients (Vnukovo-3) . These buildings are located separately from the three main ones. But they are close. In addition, finding these complexes is quite simple, since there are special signs along the road from the terminals.

Terminal A is the largest. Approximately 80% of the total flow is served here. Previously, only domestic flights within the country were carried out here, but over the past 3 years, passengers of international flights have also been served here. Terminal B serves approximately 18% of the flow of passengers. It mainly serves charter flights of various international destinations, as well as flights to Asia and budget flights. Terminal D was built back in the 80s. However, despite the fact that not so long ago it was reconstructed, now it practically does not serve passengers. It is used today exclusively for the arrival of domestic flights. It is worth noting that the layout of Vnukovo Airport is designed in such a way that you can only leave Terminal D through building B. All these buildings are located in one line.

The so-called special terminal, a separate Vnukovo-2 complex, is designed to serve government officials. It is located near the main three terminals, to the south. Another complex is located in the western part. This is the VIP-lounge of Vnukovo-3 airport. This building is reserved for business flights.

Terminal A

This complex consists of three floors, thanks to which it is possible to separate several flows of passengers who arrive here or depart at once. At level -1 there is a transition to the Aeroexpress station. There are also left-luggage offices, as well as numerous counters for self-registration of UTair.

Below is the arrivals area, where customs control is carried out and luggage is issued. There is a waiting room for those who meet passengers. You can buy souvenirs on this floor. There are cafes, check-in counters, ATMs and ticket offices of various airlines.
From the overpass you can get directly to the second floor of this terminal. You don't have to pay to enter the overpass. On the second floor, security control is carried out, oversized luggage is issued. There is an information desk and ticket offices of airlines. On the second floor there is a specially designated sterile area from which you can board. Also at this level there are cafes, shops with souvenirs and other goods, ATMs. There is a DVD cinema on the second floor.

To make it easier for passengers to navigate at this level of the terminal, the map of Vnukovo Airport will be very useful in this case. Briefly for better orientation:

  • In the departure area in the left corner there is a service desk for the disabled and a children's room.
  • Public toilets are located on the right side of the departure area.
  • There is a cafe in the right corner.
  • Boarding for "home" flights is located on the left side of the building.
  • Boarding for international flights is carried out on the right side of the terminal.

The third floor is for waiting for flights. There is a cafe here. Also on the third level is a business lounge. To get here, you need to go up to the top, that is, the 3rd floor, you do not need to go through passport and customs control.

Elevators, escalators, travelators operate here for the convenience of moving around the terminal. There are special lifts for the disabled and ramps. All floors have Wi-Fi.

Terminal B

This terminal handles most international charter flights as well as scheduled flights. In the future, it is planned to transfer all regular flights to the first terminal (A). Therefore, it is likely that in the near future Terminal B will serve only charter flights. This building has two floors.

On the ground floor you need to check in, check in your luggage. There is an arrivals hall, a cafe, ticket offices that sell not only air tickets, but also railway tickets. Also on the ground floor there are special desks with the help of which they book hotel rooms and order a taxi. There is also Wi-Fi here.
The second floor is used to carry out the procedure for controlling passengers and checking their hand luggage. This is where the boarding gates are located. On the floor above there is a hall for passengers who have bought business class tickets. In addition, there are special check-in counters for passengers who fly without luggage.

Terminal D

This terminal is no longer in use. There are no flights from here. The terminal does not have its own exit. The only thing it is still used for is arrival from the North Caucasus. This is due to the increased requirements of the special services. It is expected that this terminal will be completely closed soon. The building itself is scheduled to be demolished.

Passenger check-in at this terminal closes 40 minutes before the scheduled departure time. Check-in begins at least 2 hours before departure. This time is set individually for each airline. In order to save time, passengers are advised to check in online, as when only 40 minutes remain before departure, the counter staff will no longer be able to check in passengers. After registration, you need to go to the second floor to go through all the necessary clearance procedures (including customs control). Boarding ends twenty minutes before departure.

VIP room

This is a hall that is located separately from other terminals and serves passengers regardless of which terminal they fly from. In this complex, passengers are given the opportunity to check in for flights within the country and to other countries. It also carries out customs and passport control. But all this is available only for VIP passengers. There is a separate car park for passengers. Clients are given the opportunity to order a meeting room.

The services provided in the lounge are available only to those VIP passengers who have purchased a voucher at the box office (of any terminal) or have entered into a cooperation agreement (if the client is a legal entity). Bookings must be made at least one day before departure. Heroes of the Soviet Union, the Russian Federation and participants of the Great Patriotic War are served free of charge in this hall.

Vnukovo-2

This is a government terminal. Only government officials are served here. Moreover, we are talking about leaders and other representatives of the government of any state who arrive in the Russian Federation on official working visits at the invitation of the president or other representatives of the Russian government.

All Vnukovo terminals are equipped in such a way as to provide the maximum degree of comfort to passengers, as well as to minimize the time required for check-in and procedures such as customs and passport control, baggage handling, etc.

Note: if you need long-term parking, then you can save a lot by using the services. Their parking lots are located about 10 minutes from Moscow airports. Provided free airport shuttle and back, free baggage packing. Cost: when parking for more than 30 days - 200 rubles, with a club card - 225 rubles, regular price - 250 rubles per day.

Where is Vnukovo located?

Before telling you how to get to Vnukovo Airport, you should figure out where it is located.

Vnukovo Airport is located outside the Moscow Ring Road, 28 km southwest of the center of Moscow and consists of three air terminal complexes.

Vnukovo-1 is responsible for the transportation of ordinary passengers. There are three terminals here, each of which takes on a specific task:

  • Terminal A serves domestic flights and most international routes, taking 79% of the total flow.
  • Terminal B is responsible for charter flights and aircraft of Asian low-cost airlines. It accounts for 19% of passengers.
  • Terminal D is currently out of service and is used only for arrivals and screening of some flights after arrival.

Vnukovo-2 is located south of the Vnukovo-1 terminals and is responsible for servicing persons of national importance: the president, government and officials of other states.

Vnukovo-3 has the status of a VIP complex and is located slightly to the west of the passenger terminals near Borovskoye Highway.

Vnukovo airport: how to get there?

Moscow is very close to the main Vnukovo terminals, which means there are many ways to get to them:

  • on the Aeroexpress;
  • by car;
  • by bus and shuttle.

All of these options have their pros and cons. Some attract by price, others by the ability to quickly find themselves in the right place.

How to get to Vnukovo airport by metro

The airport is located outside the Moscow Ring Road, far from the metro, however minibuses and buses run from some stations (Yugo-Zapadnaya and Oktyabrskaya), and Aeroexpress from the Kievsky railway station (Kievskaya metro station).

Aeroexpress Vnukovo is a high-speed train that runs non-stop to the final destination Vnukovo-1 in 35 minutes.

The entrance to the building of the Kievsky railway station, from where trains depart, is located opposite the European shopping center. Tickets can also be purchased there if you have not done so in advance via the Internet.

The fare on the express is 340 rubles one way, 680 - both ways. There are also a number of special rates for groups and beneficiaries. There are even travel cards for a whole month for those who use Aeroexpress services very often.

Trains arrive at the underground station near the airport, from where there is a passage to terminal A. To get to terminals B and D, you need to go outside, follow the signs, turn left and go under the flyover.

How to get to Vnukovo airport by bus

Several regular buses run to the airport building from the metro station "Yugo-Zapadnaya" to the stop "Airport":

  • No. 611 goes with all stops, travel time will take 35-40 minutes.
  • No. 611s - express, travel time - 30 minutes.
  • No. 611f - minibus, following the bus route in 20-25 minutes.
  • No. 272 - stops everywhere, including at the "Hotel" stop, from where you need to walk about 200 meters to the airport.

On these flights, the usual city fares apply: "Single travel card", "90 minutes".

Finding a parking lot near the Yugo-Zapadnaya metro station is quite simple: at the exit of the station in the direction of the train, turn right, then, after exiting the passage, go left and look for a sign with the numbers of the necessary buses.

Often there is already a vehicle waiting for its passengers.

How to get to Vnukovo by fixed-route taxis

In addition to buses, there are also minibuses to Vnukovo Airport. They depart both from the Yugo-Zapadnaya metro station and from the Oktyabrskaya ring station.

From the metro station "Yugo-Zapadnaya" there is a fixed-route taxi No. 45. Travel time on it takes only 20-25 minutes, but the fare is 100 rubles. These comfortable minibuses depart from the same stop as the city ones, and payment is made to the driver.

Minibuses No. 705m go from the Oktyabrskaya metro station. To find them, you need to turn right at the exit from the station lobby. The stop is between the stalls. The fare on this route is 130 rubles, and the journey to the airport will take about 45 minutes, depending on the situation on the roads.

This is not the most convenient and cheap form of transport, given that you will have to pay an additional 10 rubles for each piece of luggage.

How to get to Vnukovo airport by car

You can get to the airport along three highways: Kievskoye, Minskoye and Borovskoye. The shortest route runs along Kievsky, but it all depends on the congestion of the routes. Sometimes the longest path is the shortest.

For those who travel by their own transport, there are two covered paid parking lots for 700 cars in the airport area. They are located 30 meters from the entrance to Terminal A.

When entering the airport, the driver must obtain a parking ticket. From the moment you receive this ticket, the countdown of your parking time begins. If the car stays in this zone for more than 15 minutes, after parking it is necessary to pay for the parking time at the rates indicated in the cash registers.

When leaving the territory, the parking ticket is inserted into a special machine, and if the car does not have unpaid parking time, the barrier will rise and you can continue driving.

These are the main options for getting to Vnukovo Airport. All of them have some advantage over others, and each person can choose a way to his liking and wallet.

However, in the end, I would like to give a few tips:

1. During rush hour on weekdays, you should refrain from traveling by public transport in Moscow. But even the rest of the time, it is worth checking traffic jams more often, otherwise there is a chance of missing the plane.

2. If you are leaving Moscow by public transport or car, be sure to allow two or three extra hours for the journey.

3. Aeroexpress does not operate at night, as does public transport. Getting to the airport at night is possible only by car or taxi.

4. There is no direct route from Vnukovo to other Moscow airports. You can choose either a taxi or a combined aeroexpress + metro or minibus + metro.
