Visa Information

Bulgaria is a country on the continent of Eurasia. The capital is Sofia. In addition to the capital, Burgas, Varna, Plovdiv, Pleven, Ruse, Dobrich, Stara Zagora, Pernik are called the largest cities. The national currency is the Bulgarian lev. The population of the state speaks Bulgarian.

Citizens of Russia and the CIS visit the Republic of Bulgaria with a visa stamp.

Important!

Foreign passports of tourists are required by the specified certain rules:

No damage of any kind;

The international passport at the entrance is valid from 3 months after the trip.

Traveling with a Schengen visa

Tourists with current double and multi-entry Schengen C and national D visas travel around Bulgaria for transit/tourism up to 90 days in six months. In this case, the travel time does not count towards the time allowed for residence in the Schengen states.

Russian travelers have the opportunity to return home through the lands of Bulgaria, if the visa stamp is up to date.

If both visa marks are present, the tourist goes to Bulgaria, based on the Bulgarian one.

Traveling with visa stamps of Cyprus, Romania, Croatia

Citizens of third countries, in whose passports there are current visa stamps, residence permits for Cyprus, Romania, Croatia, are allowed to travel abroad to Bulgaria up to 90 days in six months within the framework of the functioning of existing visas.

Entry visa- trips abroad for tourism, visiting friends or persons with whom there are family ties.

Group visa- for a company of fellow citizens with the possibility of 1 entry and location for 30 days. Transit visas allow a group of fixed composition for the duration of the trip to cross Bulgaria once/twice.

Transit visa - visiting Bulgaria as a transit trip to third countries with the right to stay in Bulgaria outside the airport for the allowed time.

immigrant visa- acquisition of a long-term (1 year) or permanent residence permit in Bulgaria.

Entry visa- for the purchase present:

a) a passport that remains valid for at least 3 months upon return from a trip abroad;

b) a photocopied 1st page of the international passport with private information;

c) color photo 35x45 mm on a light background without any frames;

d) completed and signed application form, received at the consulates / CC or downloaded from the CC web resource and printed on each side of A4 sheet;

e) a certificate from the employer, certified by the seal and signature of the head, on the letterhead of the company with the position, length of service and salary;

e) private visit- the original and a copy of the invitation letter, certified by the police at the place of residence, from a person with Bulgarian citizenship, or a subject with a residence permit. If a visit by a relative of a Bulgarian citizen is expected, instead of an invitation letter, a current Civil Status Act (not older than 3 months) is drawn up;

g) tourist trip - a hotel reservation (fax, printout from a web resource) with the names of those who reserve, hotel details; payment confirmation. Important! Upon request to the consulate, EC in St. Petersburg, a reserve and payment is provided from the hotel (fax, scan, sent by e-mail), and not from the web resources of booking systems;

h) evidence of the existence of a sufficient amount of money on hand for travel - 100 € / day per tourist (500 € or more for a trip abroad);

i) the original and a copy of the insurance valid in Europe for the duration of the trip abroad with coverage of €30,000 or more;

vehicle tickets (including printed e-tickets) or technical passport, driving license and GreenCard.

For obtaining a tourist and multi-visa visa to Bulgaria (vacation, treatment, business trip)

1. Passport of a citizen of the Russian Federation, valid for at least 3 months after returning from Bulgaria;
2. Copy of the first page of the foreign passport (with photo);
3. , photo correction / photo production in the office - 200 rubles
4. A completed and signed application form for a visa on 3 sheets;

Tourist visa

1. Medical insurance policy valid in European countries for the entire duration of the trip. Registration of insurance in the office: 1 euro - day;

Child visa

1. Actual color photograph - 1 piece, 3.5 x 4.5 cm, on a white background, without corners and ovals, large face (3 cm)
2. A copy of the certificate of state registration of the fact of the birth of a child.
3. A document confirming the consent to leave from one or both parents, depending on who is traveling with the child.
4. Medical insurance policy valid in European countries for the entire duration of the trip. Registration of insurance in the office: 1 euro - day. We arrange in the office.
5. If the departure is carried out with an accompanying person without parents, a photocopy of his foreign passport is provided (two pages: the main one and with a Bulgarian permit).

Multivisa

1. Completed visa application form - all columns of the application form must be filled in, fill in the office.
2. Foreign passport - valid for at least 3 months after the end of the trip + a copy of its first page. The presence of the owner's signature in the passport is mandatory;
3. Actual color photograph - 1 piece, 3.5 x 4.5 cm, on a white background, without corners and ovals, large face (3 cm)
4. The presence in the passport of marks about trips to this country last year.
5. Medical insurance policy valid in European countries for the entire duration of the trip. Registration of insurance in the office: 1 euro - day;

Real estate visas

1. Passport - valid for at least 3 months after the end of the trip + a copy of its first page. The presence of the owner's signature in the passport is mandatory;
2. Copy of notarial deed 15 or 16 (commissioning)
3. Actual color photograph - 1 piece, 3.5 x 4.5 cm, on a white background, without corners and ovals, large face (3 cm)
4. Medical insurance policy valid in European countries for the entire duration of the trip. Registration of insurance in the office: 1 euro - day;
5. In the case of real estate acquisition more than a year ago - certificates of payment of tax fees in the Republic of Belarus.
6. The act of concluding a marriage union.

For CIS citizens

1. Completed visa application form - all columns of the application form must be filled in, the application form must be signed by the traveler with his own hand.
2. Passport - valid for at least 3 months after the end of the trip + a copy of its first page. The presence of the owner's signature in the passport is mandatory;
3. A copy of the registration document for the period of stay in Bulgaria + three days (minimum) from the moment of departure to the CIS.

For citizens of Georgia and Turkmenistan, when applying for a Bulgarian visa, a photocopy of registration in Russia and the presence of at least 2-fold Russian visa in the passport are required.

For citizens of Armenia, the visa regime with Bulgaria is the most stringent. A visa is issued for at least 14 days and it is desirable to provide the most complete package of documents about the tourist, but even so, the probability of obtaining a Bulgarian tourist visa is extremely small.

Purchasing a new visa with a valid one

If there is a Bulgarian visa expiring soon in the passport, the next one is requested no earlier than a week before the expiration date of the previous one (with the exception of St. Petersburg). A new visa mark begins to function no earlier than the next day after the cancellation of the previous one. It is forbidden to enter and exit on different visa documents.
