Visas

In fact, in the summer you can really get to Greece for a couple of weeks literally without a visa - when traveling by plane or arriving by ferry (for example, from Turkey), polite customs officers will issue a visa right on the spot.

The cost of such a visa last year was about 30 euros, duration - up to 15 days. However, if you are traveling to Greece with children, it is better not to take risks and apply for a visa in advance.

The procedure for obtaining a visa is usual - you need to send all the necessary documents and come to the embassy on the appointed day. If you plan to travel on a tour package, then the representative of the travel company usually handles the registration.

Please note that according to the new rules, when traveling with a child (when only one of the parents is traveling), written permission will be required. And if both parents travel with the child, but the surnames are different, you will need to provide a marriage certificate.
