How citizens of the Russian Federation and the CIS can apply for a visa to Bulgaria

Bulgaria is located in the south of Europe: a sunny, friendly resort country annually receives tourists and business people.

  • Evidence of hotel booking.
  • Proof of solvency (bank statement) or sponsorship letter from the inviting party.

To apply for a business visa (up to 90 days in the country), you need to add an invitation from an employer from Bulgaria to the main documents.

To apply for a visa to Bulgaria for property owners in the country, you need to add to the main documents:

  • Notarial deed in Bulgarian (the act must indicate the fact of putting the property into operation).
  • Certificate that the property has no debts.

A transit visa does not require additional documents. It is issued for persons staying in transit on the territory of Bulgaria for no more than 24 hours.

To apply for a visa for a minor, you must add the following documents to the general package:

  • Child's birth certificate.
  • For children traveling with one parent, it is necessary to provide permission from the second parent to take the child abroad.

After collecting the package of documents, you need to contact the Visa Application Center, where specialists will check the documents and consider the application. After that, the documents are submitted for consideration to the Consulate.

A visa is issued within 4-6 days, and the consular fee is 35 euros (for children under 6 years old - free of charge).

For citizens of Ukraine, the procedure for issuing documents is standard. The cost of the consular fee coincides with the registration procedure for Russian citizens (no more than 35 euros).

The process of obtaining a visa does not differ from the Russian Federation or Ukraine, but the cost of a visa to Bulgaria is higher:

  • For adults - 60 euros.
  • For children from 6 to 18 - 40 euros.
  • For children under 6 years old - free of charge.

The processing time is on average no more than 14 days.
