Beaches near Moscow. Zelenograd, Central Avenue

Main entrance. In the background is the high Shchukin coast. Guests are greeted by a front portico with a gate.

At the entrance, as expected, vacationers are greeted with a schedule, rules and a ticket office. I wonder what the prices were then?

Surprisingly, all those infrastructure elements that are now indispensable for the normal functioning of the beach, but which are often absent in nature, we see in photographs from sixty years ago: stands with information on the prevention of accidents on the water and data on water and air temperature; sunbeds; awnings: souls; sun umbrellas; changing cabins; safe sources of drinking water.

You can see the tall mast. These masts are set up on the beach to warn people of unfavorable swimming conditions or vice versa.
Racks with life buoys are placed on the shore every 50 meters and no further than 5 meters from the water. The circles indicate the name of the beach and the inscription "Throw to the drowning."

On a hot afternoon, it is nice to refresh yourself in a cafe. An assortment of soft drinks.
Pay attention to the seedlings in the foreground. These are the same poplars that I mentioned at the very beginning.

Fanciful small architectural forms are placed on the beach.

In general, pay attention to the quality of temporary buildings. All elements have their own style - the Soviet seaside resort towns. Wooden pavilions, kiosks, verandas are painted green. Decorative elements: columns, capitals, cornices are accentuated in white. Architraves on the windows, white wooden decorative lattices give airiness. At the same time, wood was the main and, in fact, the only material for buildings.

Do not swim over the buoys. These four shots were taken on the Serebryany Bor-1 beach
They made a storyboard of the approach from the water to the beach.

Tanned and rested visitors leave the Stroginsky beach.

Pavilion - dressing room.

In my opinion, an excellent example of a building made of lightweight structures. Everything is fine here, and the pavilion itself, and merchants, and vacationers.

This year, Moscow was covered by an unusual heat for our latitudes. And not for a week, but for 1.5-2 months (until the end of July), weather forecasters promise temperatures around +30 ° C, and only occasional heavy rains ... Where can citizens swim within the capital?

You can swim in the Moscow River within the city, but be careful and not everywhere. In the northwest, the river is still not too polluted, and therefore in Rublev, Strogino, Serebryany Bor and Troitse-Lykovo there are equipped beaches where Muscovites traditionally swim and sunbathe. But passing through industrial areas, the Moscow River is already gaining a large supply of heavy metals, harmful organics and oil products, and therefore it is forbidden to dive into water on the central embankments and in the southeastern part of the city.

The swimming season in the capital officially opened on June 1 and will be extended until September 1, the beaches are open from 9-00 to 21-00.

In 2016, the Popotrebnadzor officially issued a permit for the operation of the following city beaches:

Recreation zones with swimming Serebryany Bor-2 (Tamanskaya street);

Beach No. 2 Cerebryany Bor-3 (4th line of Serebryany Bor);

Beach No. 3 of the recreation area "Meshcherskoe" (Bokkpesenskaya Street, 5-31);

Lake Beloe (3aozernaya street, 2/6).

The Levoberezhny beach is also open on the Khimki reservoir (address: Coastal passage, property 5-7).

In the city of Zelenograd, you can swim in the Bolshoi City Pond (Victory Park, passage 4922), in Cherny Lake in the 6th microdistrict and in School Lake (10th microdistrict).

In the recreation areas "Tpoparevo" on the street. Aкaдeмикa Bинoгpaдoвa, дoм 12, и в пляжном кoмплeкcе «Бич Kлaб» на Лeнингpaдcкoм шocce, влaдeниe 39, c 24 июня текущего года кyпaниe вpeмeннo зaпpeщeнo из-зa нecooтвeтcтвия кaчecтвa вoды пo микpoбиoлoгичecким пoкaзaтeлям.

Rublevsky beach in the Myakininskaya floodplain is the cleanest and most environmentally friendly. Entrance to it is traditionally paid, which prevents marginal elements from entering the recreation area. You can sunbathe on the sand and on the lawn grass, there is an accompanying infrastructure: toilets, changing cabins, a shower, a first-aid post, fast food establishments, children's and sports grounds. In the neighborhood there is a boat station where you can rent a boat, catamaran or water skis. You can get there on your own from the Krylatskoye, Molodezhnaya or Schukinskaya metro stations, by buses or minibuses.

In "Serebryany Bor" vacationers are attracted by the aroma of pine trees, clean sand and an abundance of sports grounds. Parts of the beach are numbered due to the long coastline. Beach volleyball, ping-pong, badminton players traditionally gather here; you can rent a boat, jet ski and even a boat. The beach area is also equipped with all the necessary infrastructure: cabins, benches, toilets, hammocks. The sandy bottom provides a convenient entry into the water. Nudists sometimes sunbathe on the wild beach (No. 5). Directions from the metro station "Polezhaevskaya" - by minibus.

Beach number 2 has a children's playground with trampolines, swings, slides and a small pool. You can rent a sun lounger and water sports equipment.

Lake Meshcherskoye (another old Moscow beach area) can be reached from the Yugo-Zapadnaya metro station or from the Vostryakovo and Peredelkino railway platforms. The lake is small, so on hot days there are a lot of people near the water. Next to the beach there is a picnic area, there are sports grounds. The place is noisy, crowded, but, alas, these are the “charms” of a big city.

Lake Beloe is located in the village of Kosino, on the border with Moscow. You can get to it from the Vykhino metro station, then by any minibus or bus traveling through the village of Kosino. The second option is to walk from the railway station "Kosino" past the traffic police to the village of Kosino (about 1 km). The beach is sandy, you can sunbathe on the grass by spreading a towel. The depth of the lake is 23 meters, there are places where cold springs beat, so even good swimmers are not recommended to swim far. In the recreation area there are stalls with drinks, ice cream, pastries and sandwiches.

blue water

For those who do not like outdoor recreation, Moscow has outdoor pools where, for a different fee, you can swim in clear water and sunbathe, lying on a sunbed or under a canopy. In addition, the water in the pools is heated to a comfortable temperature when it is cool outside.

The Luzhniki pool is one of the oldest open city pools. Rather, there are two pools: sports and beach. Spending the whole day in the aqua complex on weekdays will cost 1200 rubles, on weekends - 1500 rubles. Fresh bar, food court, locker rooms with individual lockers, deckchairs under the aerarium, shower, children's and volleyball courts will allow the visitor to feel as comfortable as possible. Children under 6 years old are not allowed to use the large pool.

Sports complex "Chaika" is one of the most popular outdoor swimming pools. Visitors sunbathe in the stands around the pool, there are locker rooms, showers, a sauna, gyms, two restaurants and a cafe on the territory. Two hours of rest on the "all inclusive" system will cost the visitor 1000 rubles, the whole day - 2000 rubles.

The MOTsVS swimming complex near the Semenovskaya metro station (Neptun Swimming House) has two pools: indoor and outdoor. Here, vacationers are provided with sun loungers, training is provided for those wishing to swim with an instructor. 1 hour of swimming costs 350 rubles, as in most ordinary regional pools.

Muscovites fell in love with The Pool in Sokolniki Park with wooden piers around the water for its beautiful interiors and service. Here you can rent not only a sunbed, but also a towel, a mattress, swimming accessories.

The pools of some fitness clubs (World Class Kuntsevo, Vitasport on Schukinskaya, Oktyabrsky Pole and Sokol) and the rooftop pool of the Sky Club fitness club can only be accessed with club cards.

The swimming pool in the Planernaya OCTC is an open swimming place on the territory of the sports base. Here it is quite democratic, inexpensive, a medical certificate is not required, but there is no sunbathing area.

Finally, the beach on the roof of the Olimpiyskiy pool provides vacationers with the opportunity to sunbathe on an artificial lawn with sun loungers and umbrellas. The cost of visiting a natural solarium is 250 rubles.

In the heat, it's time to get to the beaches of the Moscow region - to the river or a large lake.

Where to swim in the Moscow region in the summer of 2019, where are the best beaches of the Moscow region on the map and how to get to them by public transport, read in this article.

In total, there are about 90 beaches in the Moscow Region - there are both free recreation areas near the water and paid ones.

If there is such an opportunity, it is better to go away from Moscow - in the far suburbs, the water is cleaner, and there are fewer people and garbage. The best bathing is in reservoirs with a sandy bottom, which are fed by spring water, or in reservoirs with running water.

You can find detailed information about the quality of water in water bodies near Moscow in the territorial departments of the Office of Rospotrebnadzor for the Moscow Region and on their official websites.

There are not many places where you can swim in the suburbs in the south and southeast. There are very beautiful lakes with clear water, formed on the site of sand pits between Dzerzhinsky and Lyubertsy and near Lytkarino.

Quarry in Lytkarino (Volkushinsky quarry)

The lake was formed on the site of a sand pit, fed by groundwater. The place is wonderful: white sand, pine trees, clear water. Nearby - Tomilinsky forest park. There is paid parking, cafes, volleyball courts.

How to get there:

  • Kuzminki metro station, then by bus No. 538 to the stop "Karyer"
  • Vykhino metro station, by bus No. 393 to the stop "Karyer", then - 500 m on foot.
  • by car: along Novoryazanskoe highway to Tokarevo, then turn onto Lytkarinskoe highway.

There are free and paid zones.

Quarries in Dzerzhinsky (Lyubertsy careers)

A cascade of several sand pits between Dzerzhinsky and Lyubertsy filled with water. The shores and the bottom are white sand, around there is a mixed forest, pines.

When solving an almost "Hamletian" issue in the current heat, several factors should be taken into account: the remoteness of reservoirs from home, the availability of own transport, the purity of the water, the legality of the beaches and the number of people on them. I confess that I am not a fan of crowds, but I am calm about getting into the water where there is no official beach (if I find the water acceptable). Therefore, this review includes both legal and semi-legal (there is no official beach, but there is beach infrastructure and sometimes lifeguards who do not interfere with swimmers) and illegal (without infrastructure) beaches. Everywhere I either swam or was on the beach. The review was compiled from the perspective of a public transport user and covers places that can be reached relatively quickly and easily, while car owners have other opportunities.
All photos were taken in the area of the beaches, but unfortunately, there are almost no beaches on them, so this photo is more for beauty.
For supporters of only official beaches: List of places where you can swim in Moscow

The indisputable first place in my personal ranking is occupied by Dzerzhinsky quarries with excellent semi-official beaches, white sand and magnificent coves for lovers of loneliness (pictured). ,
Directions: Kuzminki metro, buses to Dzerzhinsky, run frequently, go if there are no traffic jams, about 20 minutes. To get out, focus on the stops: Ugreshskaya Street (along the quarry), Lenin Street (parallel to it), Dmitry Donskoy Square, the market. Then ask the locals: if you go out correctly, it will be 5-10 minutes to the quarry. Perhaps there is a passage from the Kotelniki metro station, I have not tried it

The most famous and perhaps the best place in Moscow for swimming - Serebryany Bor, Moskva River, there are official beaches, a nudist beach (its status is unknown to me), I think that you can find unofficial beaches. No swimming experience.
Directions: Trolleybus 20 from the Belorusskaya and Polezhaevskaya metro stations, the final one is right at the official beach.

Close enough from it (across the river) beaches in Strogino, Moskva River, semi-official and informal. We swam for a long time, swimming is excellent.
Directions: metro Strogino, then on foot.

left bank(hotel "Soyuz"), Khimki reservoir. There is an official beach here, which is periodically closed for swimming due to sanitary and epidemiological indicators, and there are many pretty little coves around it.
Directions: From the Belorusskaya metro station, bus 905, or other transport to the end of Leningradsky Prospekt. Stop "Canal named after Moscow", in front of the bridge over the canal, from the stop go along the coast to the right.

Khimki, Leo Tolstoy Park, Khimki Reservoir. We didn’t swim, but there is an official beach, we saw swimmers
Directions: Station Khimki (Leningradsky railway station), without crossing the road, walk a little back to the entrance to the park, then follow the signs to the beach.

Vodniki (Dolgoprudny), Klyazma reservoir. On the banks of the Klyazma reservoir, you can look for places for swimming, or you can go to its straightening (actually a canal) and study rich yachts, boats and numerous ships going from the Moscow River to the Volga and back.
Directions: Station Vodniki (Savelovskoye direction), from the station you need to go forward along the train and to the left

bay of joy, Pirogovskoe reservoir. It is convenient to get here by water from the River Station. Unfortunately, it is not cheap, and the number of people on a fine day goes off scale.
Directions: Northern River Station, then a rocket or motor ship. The rocket (I’m not sure if it’s running this year, but there is a price tag) goes for half an hour, 4 hours is given for swimming, the issue price is 1000 rubles. The ship goes 2 and a half hours, three hours are given for swimming, it costs about the same.

To be honest, completing the review, I'm not sure that I will decide the "almost Hamlet question" in favor of "swimming".
