The northern edge of the sea allows you to admire the amazing humpback whales during this period of the year

Where can you go with a child

I want to fly to the sea in winter not only myself, but also with children. To do this, parents must take into account many factors and components.

Firstly, what is the weather in a particular country, the availability of hotels with rooms and entertainment centers for children, and much more.

Of particular importance is safety issues, especially when it comes to seaside holidays. And this involves boat trips, beach attractions, etc.

According to statistics from surveys of parents, the first places for relaxing at sea with children include:

Thailand The resort areas are Phuket and Pattaya. For children, there are park areas, a water park, various areas for children's recreation and tourism. And the mild climate of this region will make your stay pleasant and unforgettable.
Egypt is a long-loved part of the land for tourists from all over the world Hotels in these parts are famous for their five-star all-inclusive, and the archeological and historical side of the country will not leave anyone indifferent. For children, special beach areas have been developed here, safety is guaranteed by the hotels themselves. Entertainment programs and animators, warm sea and clean sand, a varied cuisine of children's food, and for parents who want to spend an evening for two, a babysitting service is provided.
United Arab Emirates (UAE) You will not find anywhere else in terms of the number of park spaces, the list of entertainment and relevant places, as here. What is the zoo worth?

Where can I travel cheaply without a visa?

When there is not enough time for red tape with documents ... where can you go on vacation in the winter and at the same time not worry about the lack of a visa?

And it is desirable that all this travel should not be very expensive for a Russian citizen.

The most acceptable are the countries of Asia and Africa, where in winter the Russian region is cold and drizzly, and in those areas the temperature reaches a pleasant plus.

Many travel companies at this time offer a huge price list of last-minute tours to seaside resorts.

In addition, they take care of all the paperwork, including arranging a visa-free trip.

If you are interested in this offer, consider such options that allow you to stay in the country for a while without a visa:

A country Number of days without a visa
Türkiye 60
Maldives 30
Cyprus 90
Montenegro 30
Cuba 30
Madagascar 30
Israel 90
Hong Kong 14
Vietnam 15
Bali 30
Morocco 90

This is not a complete list of suggested countries for tourists, but the most common.

Advantages and disadvantages

Which of the described resorts our Russian person would like to use is his individual choice and decision.

Vietnam

Vietnam is our love at first sight. This is the best place where you can relax in the winter abroad by the warm sea. We have already met there three times.

Advantages: very cheap, delicious food, nice people, unique culture, great hotels (even for $10), lots of attractions, nice beaches.

Minuses: sanitation in catering is a weak point of the Vietnamese. However, this applies to almost all of Southeast Asia. If you disdain to eat with locals in street cafes, choose more expensive establishments.

Weather in winter. During the winter months, we lived in all regions of the country: in the center (Danang, Hue, Hoi An), in the south (, Ho Chi Minh City, Can Tho, Dalat, Mui Ne and Phan Thiet) and in the north (Hanoi, Halong). Read about

Things to do. Tourists devote the first days to a lazy beach holiday, and then go on excursions. There are a lot of them, from short surveys to two or three days to the north of the country. We rent a bike and ride around the area.

Beaches. Vietnamese beaches are good, but they can hardly be called paradise - go to or for such. However, there are also white sand beaches here: and.

Prices for tours. You can find an inexpensive tour to Vietnam in advance or buy a last-minute one. Weekly tours cost from 60 thousand rubles for two from Moscow.

Thailand

Thailand is a favorite among the Chinese, Indians and our compatriots. From December to April, the concentration of tourists rolls over. Thailand is far from fabulous, but for the third time we come here in winter - to relax on powdery beaches and swim in the turquoise sea.

It's clear why: in winter it is warm and you can swim, interesting excursions, various leisure activities,.

Minuses: many tourists, noisy, expensive in some resorts. However, there are many resorts and beaches in Thailand - it is easy to find quite secluded places (even in the popular Phuket).

Weather in winter. In winter we lived in Phuket, Pattaya, Krabi and Bangkok. it is still quite humid and there may be rain - usually in the evening or at night. January and February are dry and hot, the sea is calm and clear. The air temperature is about +32°C, water - about +28°C.

Things to do. In Phuket, take excursions to the islands: Phi Phi, Similan, Racha. In Pattaya - excursions to the river Kwai, to Ayutthaya, to the islands. Visit entertainment shows, temples, zoos, go in for active sports. If you have a driver's license, rent a bike and ride around the area.

Beaches. In Pattaya, the beaches and the sea do not make you want to swim - take a ferry to neighboring Koh Lan, it is clean and there are fewer tourists. In Phuket, the choice of beaches is huge, but the distance between them is decent. Usually we stop in Patong and go to other beaches by bike.

Visa. Russians can stay in Thailand for 30 days without a visa.

Malaysia

How many people do you know who go to Malaysia for a beach holiday? Nevertheless, you can have a good rest there in winter: it is warm and you can swim, the weather is great! First of all, we advise you to go to Malaysia for the sake of a cultural program, and a beach holiday will be just a nice addition.

Pros: picturesque landscapes, exotic country, culture, good beach holidays, delicious food, cool national parks (especially in fabulous Borneo).

Minuses: not as cheap as in Vietnam or Thailand, especially on the islands.

Weather in winter. We lived in Penang. The air temperature is about +32°С, water - about +28°С. Sometimes it rains (usually only in the evening and at night). On Langkawi - about the same, only there is no rain.

Things to do? Mostly people come to Penang for the sake of cultural leisure and acquaintance with the local cuisine. There is a picturesque national park, a colorful village on stilts and colonial architecture, as well as street art in Georgetown. On other islands, tourists go diving and snorkeling.

Beaches. For beach holidays and wildlife, they go to Langkawi and its neighboring islands, as well as to Pangkor and Tioman. In Penang, you can swim only in the north of the island. The beaches of Batu Ferrengi, Monkey Beach are popular (monkeys really live there!).

Visa. Russians can stay in Malaysia for 30 days without a visa.

Prices for tours. Weekly tours for two from Moscow - from 100 thousand rubles.

Philippines

The Philippines is a great alternative to the Seychelles and the Maldives: here you can have an inexpensive rest in the winter by the warm sea on paradise beaches with white sand. The islands are suitable for both independent travelers and package tourists. Avoid large cities (Cebu City, Manila) and immediately go to secluded islands - for example,. We vacationed there in the winter.

Pros: islands for every taste, virgin exotic nature and beaches, colonial architecture, an abundance of excursions, .

Weather in winter. We were in winter in Bantayan, Cebu, Bohol and Manila. The air temperature is about +30°С, water - about +27°С.

Things to do. Beach holidays, diving, snorkeling, surfing, water activities, swimming with whale sharks, national parks.

Beaches. On Bantayan (in Santa Fe) they are gorgeous: wide, white soft sand. The most touristic island famous for its beaches is Boracay.

Visa. Russians can stay for 30 days without a visa.

Prices for tours. From 100-120 thousand rubles from Moscow. It's better to rest.

Where else to go on vacation abroad in winter

For an inexpensive beach holiday in winter, the Maldives are suitable. Surprised? Imagine, even on these paradise islands you can relax! On Bali

Where to go if you want to celebrate the New Year on the beach? Where to go in February or March for those who have not seen the light at all for several months? Where to go for a piece of the summer sun, when the Russian winter is already raging with might and main and there is nothing left for us but to dream of a vacation somewhere where it is hot and sunny, where beautiful beaches and smiling people, exotic smells and music that is in the air ?

There are, of course, approximate options: the Maldives, Brazil, the Caribbean, Southeast Asia. But when to go and what months to avoid? When does the rainy season start in Thailand? Where is hot on New Year's Eve? Where to soak up the sun in November?

Here are some of our favorite winter beach destinations.

1. Thai islands

The Thai islands are the stuff of fantasy. White sand, beach houses, a hammock slowly swinging between two palm trees as the turquoise sea laps the shore. There are dozens of these islands, and each one has something special to offer, from the beautiful spas of Koh Samui to the small beach resorts of Koh Lanta.

2. Mexico

(Atlantic coast), December–April (Pacific coast)

The Yucatan Peninsula on the Atlantic coast magically combines ancient and modern cultures. Swim in green cenotes, discover local temples, sunbathe with fashionistas on the beaches of Tulum. You can change the atmosphere a bit in colonial Merida. Walk barefoot on Holbox Island. Stay at a delightful estate in the Riviera Maya.

On the slightly less developed Pacific coast, more adventurous travelers and surfers explore the beaches of the once-sleepy fishing town of Sayulita on the edge of the jungle.

3. Cyprus

Best time to travel: March-May, October-November

In the eastern Mediterranean around Cyprus, it can get chilly in the winter, but the island is sunny most of the year, so you'll likely be able to walk around in a T-shirt even in the coldest months. In March, plants begin to bloom on the island and there are practically no tourists. And don't let the island's financial problems scare you - they only mean that tourists are more welcome here than ever, so change your money to euros in advance.

4. Bali

Best time to go: Hot all year round. It is rainy (and cheap) from November to April, but even during these months it rains in short tropical gusts.

Bali is a paradise island with earthly pleasures. Spa hotels are so popular here that Bali has even developed its own visual style - minimalist, such as dark wood and white sheets. There is always fun here, some in flip-flops at a beach party, and some in expensive hotels with champagne. Glamping is developed here (camping for the rich) and full of expensive boutiques. There is a lot of art in Ubud. Spas are everywhere here. Even the pools here are special: greenish in color, sheltered under the canopy of tropical plants.

5. Mozambique

Best time to travel: April-November

This African country has the most amazing coastline - Mozambican beaches are like out of this world. Elongated sand strips, dunes washed by the Indian Ocean, whales swim in the distance, and you yourself can swim with stingrays in the Mozambique Channel. The small islands of the Mozambique archipelago of Bazaruto are full of beach bars, simple huts and small sandy islands in crystal clear blue water. On the beaches of northern Mozambique, you will feel like you are at the end of the world, in this part of the country are the magical islands of Quirimbas.

6. Vietnam

Best time to travel: November-February

Vietnam is probably one of the most beautiful, mesmerizing and enjoyable countries you will visit. Saigon is beautiful for its colonial architecture and atmosphere. Ho Chi Minh City is one of the best places on earth for food lovers. And the coasts of Vietnam - oh the coasts! The beaches are excellent. So much untouched beauty, small islands and bays to explore by boat. Beach houses of unearthly beauty where you can stay. And despite the fact that relaxation and luxury are everywhere here, you will still feel like a part of something secret, a sense of adventure will not leave you.

7. Maldives

Best time to travel: December-April

There is no bad time to visit the Maldives. Whichever island you choose, they are all perfect: small patches of land, each of which usually occupies one immaculate hotel. Even those who think that they will be bored in the Maldives eventually fall in love with these islands. This is a great destination for a family holiday and perhaps the best place for a heavenly beach holiday.

8. Mauritius

Best time to travel: May-December

Mauritius is ahead of its Indian Ocean neighbors (Seychelles and Maldives) in size, diversity of nature and the fact that you can travel completely wild there. Here you can rent a car and personally go to explore the paradise beaches and bays, drive or go hiking in the jungle, rent a boat and go diving. Mauritius hotels are said to be too neat and polished, but at the same time, they have some of the best beach hotels in the world, and you can also find quite a few cool boutique hotels right on the coastline. Perhaps the best time for Mauritius is September, October and November, when it is hot there, but not too rainy at all (the rainy season is from January to April).

9. Bora Bora, Tahiti and French Polynesia

(but in March it is especially rainy in Tahiti)

French Polynesia consists of 100 small islands in the South Pacific, the most famous of which are Tahiti and Bora Bora. This is just a fairy tale with reefs, water of incredible shades of turquoise-blue, hibiscus flowers are bright, like in the paintings of Gauguin.

10. Canary Islands

Best time to travel: all year round

In the Canaries, summer is all year round, the temperature does not fall below +20 ºС. In addition to well-known destinations like Gran Canaria, Tenerife, Fuerteventura and Lanzarote, there are three smaller islands that are not so spoiled by tourists: La Palma, El Hierro and La Gomera.

11. Dubai

Best time to travel: November-March

Dubai is the obvious choice for those looking for hot sun, pristine beaches and impeccable service. The Palm Islands, a man-made archipelago full of expensive hotels, is ideal for families. The center of Dubai is not all about glass and shopping malls: you can find jewelry and traditional pots in the old market, and the peaceful Dubai Creek is reminiscent of the times when the emirate did not yet have seven-star hotels and indoor ski slopes. To see the city in the best light, come here in November, when it is not too humid here and you can sunbathe around the pool carefree all day long.

12. Sri Lanka

Best time to travel: December-March

Now Sri Lanka is gaining a lot of popularity, people are recommending cool places to the south of Colombo, and rice fields and tea plantations are giving way to beautiful golden beaches to the west of Galle. Surfers love the local hippie-chic getaway and big waves off the east of the island.

13. Cambodia

Best time to travel: November-April

If you want to see Southeast Asia in all its glory, then you definitely need to visit Cambodia. Be sure to watch the sun go down behind the temples of Angkor, get acquainted with the traditions of the local villages and go to the capital Phnom Penh. And do not forget to look at the impeccable beaches.

14. Rajasthan, India

Best time to travel: October-March

Cities of pink, blue and gold hues, romantic palaces on the shores of lakes and camps in the desert - Rajasthan is the most beautiful and vibrant state of India. Go there and let the bustling streets of Jaipur, the deserts of Jaisalmer or the lakes of Udaipur take you to a completely different world.

15. Kerala, India

Best time to travel: November-March

Quiet, cool and green. Kerala is not a typical India. Rafting through the winding backwaters of this southern state is a great way to get to know Hindustan. The old Fort Lorin is very nice, and the beaches there are also cool.

16. Philippines

Best time to travel: February-March

There are over 7,000 islands here. Deserted white sand beaches and coconut trees. Protected marine parks and pristine reefs that resemble a giant tropical aquarium. The waves here are so steep that professional athletes from all over the world come here to surf. Simple but pleasant hotels and villas. And some of the friendliest people on the planet. This is good for the Philippines.

17 California

Best time to travel: all year round

The Golden State is a fitting nickname. California is one of the sunniest American states, with mild winters, occasional rainfall, and constant sunshine overhead, especially in the south. For a classic American road trip, rent a convertible and head to the Pacific coast. The SR 1 stretched for almost 900 kilometers from Leggett to Malibu. It is known for its great views, the best part of which is from San Francisco to San Luis Obispo County (where the road turns inland). Drive south to be closer to the sea. The choice of hotels on the Pacific coast will definitely impress you, there are beautiful old estates, and quite modern hotels with a beautiful view of the ocean.

18. Bahamas

Once upon a time, pirates hid treasures on the Bahamas Harbor Island, and bootleggers hid illegal alcohol. Now it is a bright and eccentric resort, where parties thunder every night and every day is more fun than the previous one. The sand is pink, green sea turtles and orange starfish live in turquoise water, and yellow-bellied birds fly above the trees. Days on the beach are slow and lazy, you can lose track of time here.

19. Bahia, Brazil

Best time to travel: October-February

Bahia is located on the Atlantic coast of Brazil, away from the tourist trails. There are many deserted beaches, the jungle is full of all living creatures, there are coconut farms around, a surfer town and a few simple hotels from which you will never want to leave. Head to the small town of Itacare to surf, go sailing, or just take a walk and watch the birds. To hang out on the beach and stare at the people, go to Trancoso.

20. Senegal

Best time to travel: November and May

It may not be the most obvious choice for a beach vacation, but so much the better. Senegal is full of golden sands, great surf spots, great music and wildlife. This vacation will change your life.

21. Jordan

Best time to travel: February-May (in the south), March-May and September-October (in the north)

Jordan is full of surprises. The Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, if you call it by its full name, will surprise you not only with its nature, but also with its history. Yes, most of the country is covered in desert (sometimes even used to film moonlit scenes in Hollywood movies), but there are also chunks of absolutely green fertile soil. The waters in the Red Sea off the coast of Aqaba are warm all year round and are home to myriads of fish and turtles that live on the coral reefs. The best time to bask on the local beaches is from February to May.

Winters can be quite cold in the north, where snow covers the tree edges in Aljuna. If you are going to visit Petra and Amman and the north of the country, then go there in March, April, May, September or October.

22. South Africa

Best time to travel: November-May

Cape Town and its surroundings are known for their views, beautiful beaches, first-class wines and excellent food.

The best coast of the country is located on the so-called Garden Route. You can also travel in the opposite direction through the Western Cape, where the weather is good in December and January. The less explored coast of Overberg has wide beaches, good restaurants and wineries. True, the sea at the southern tip of Africa is not very calm.

23. Oman

Best time to travel: October-April

Oman is a less flashy and relaxed alternative to Dubai, only the landscape here is more interesting: wide empty spaces with rare oases, desert cities, valleys that smell of roses and sandalwood, hidden bays with golden beaches and clear turquoise water. The capital Muscat, its large mosques and markets are bathed in the sun all year round. Far to the northeast, the Musandam peninsula has some of the best diving in the Middle East (you can see whale sharks and turtles); the only place where you can stay in this remote place is Six Senses Zighy Bay, which is located near the mountains of Al Hajar. For total privacy, sleep in handmade Bedouin tents in the midst of the epic sand dunes of the Ramlat el Wahiba desert south of Muscat - the best way to experience the real Oman.

24. Guatemala

Best time to travel: November-May

The ancient cities of Guatemala in the jungles of Central America are full of bright colors and exotic noises, compared to them, Rome will seem like complete bullshit. From temples to beach bars, the wonders of this country are sure to make your trip unforgettable.

“Nature has no bad weather”, and each season has its own special charm. So, if summer beckons with beaches and the warm sea, then winter has other treasures in store. Cold weather is the best time to go high, high into the mountains, where fresh snow glistens in the sun, and the blue sky rings from frost, skiing or snowboarding all day long, and warming up by the fireplace with a glass of mulled wine in the evenings. In anticipation of the upcoming snow season, we have compiled a brief overview of 10 Russian and foreign resorts for active winter recreation.

The first holiday home appeared in the Western Caucasus in 1924, and after the 2014 Olympics in Sochi, Krasnaya Polyana flourished and in just a few years managed to earn a reputation as the best ski resort in Russia. Modern slopes of different difficulty levels with comfortable ski lifts, an extreme park with ski jumps, and most importantly, a well-developed infrastructure with a good road from the airport, hotels, bars and restaurants of international level and the largest equipment rental point in Russia. The main Alpika-Service ski complex has four chairlifts, and the total length of the slopes is 14 km with a vertical drop of 1680 meters. The skiing season lasts here from November to May.

The rocky and treeless Khibiny Mountains were conceived by the forces of nature as a volcano, but the hot magma flows could not break through to the surface, but only formed a huge mound with a diameter of 50 km on the Kola Peninsula. Snow fields packed with snowstorms allow you to drive wherever your eyes look, the width of the tracks here is completely unlimited. The Khibiny are located beyond the Arctic Circle, and from December 14 to January 4, the sun does not appear above the horizon, but you can ride on well-lit trails at night. Also, springboards for jumping were built here, and in 1990 Khibiny became the Russian base for Olympic freestyle training. There are six rope tows and one chair lift on Mount Aikuaivenchorr, and the total length of the slopes is 30 km. The skiing season lasts from October to May.

The resort of Zabljak is one of the highest mountain towns in the Balkans, it is located at an altitude of 1465 m, and buses run from all city hotels to the ski lifts. Ski slopes on the slopes of the Durmitor National Park are great for beginners in snowboarding and skiing. There are adult and children's lifts on the three main slopes, several ski and snowboard schools and a large selection of rental equipment. Some of the tracks are illuminated, while the rest are open from 10 am to 4 pm. The length of the longest track on the slope of Savin Kuk is 3500 meters. The skiing season lasts from December to April.

The sunny valley of Bakuriani is surrounded by the ridges of the Greater Caucasus, due to which the weather there is almost always calm, and the sun shines 210 days a year. It is on the tops of the Bakurian Mountains that the famous sources of Borjomi mineral water originate. The main descent from Mount Kokhta is a 1800 meter long trail that starts off with a steep and bumpy section and then turns into a plateau. Beginners should not climb to the highest station, it is better to ride from the middle of the mountain, but thrill-seekers can go down the difficult slope of Mount Mitarbi, but only accompanied by an instructor-guide. In Bakuriani, a half-pipe, a border cross, and three ski jumps have been built: 45 m, 70 m and 90 m. The skiing season lasts from late November to late March.

The Pirin mountain range is a Bulgarian UNESCO reserve, and the ancient city of Bansko at the foot of its northern slopes could be an architectural museum of the Renaissance, each local house is so beautiful and authentic. There are trails of all difficulty levels, as well as excellent conditions for freeriding. A special night track with bright illumination is open for skiing 24 hours a day. On the tracks for beginners there are instructors, including Russian speakers. A lot of snow falls here every year, and special snow cannons increase the length of natural trails by almost a third. The total length of all routes is 56 km. The skiing season in Bansko is the longest in Bulgaria - from December to May.

The picturesque valley near the Hohe Salve mountain range includes nine resorts; among them - the cozy village of Söll with mountain huts and hospitable hosts, visiting whom it is easy to feel at home. In general, the resort is ideal for relaxed skiing and family holidays - there are a lot of simple but long slopes, schools for adults and a children's ski club. For active youth, a fun park and a half-pipe have been built, as well as brightly lit night tracks. The total length of well-maintained ski slopes is 250 km, on sunny days, which are quite a lot, 160 km of slopes are serviced by snow cannons. The best season for skiing is from January to early March.

The Italian Dolomites is a super-resort that combines the ski areas of twelve famous ski resorts in Italy. Among other things, there is also a carousel of slopes that has become a landmark, along which you can move in a circle in both directions. 500 km of slopes with a well-thought-out system of lifts was called the “round the world” Sella Ronda, the slopes are simpler counterclockwise, steeper and more interesting slopes go clockwise, in both cases you can go the whole circle in a whole day and return home tired, but overwhelmed with impressions. The total length of all pistes on which the single Dolomiti Superski ski pass operates exceeds 1200 km. The season for skiing is from November to April.

The Himalayas are the highest mountains on earth, but there are few ski resorts here, the largest is in the Indian state of Kashmir. The main advantage of the local slopes is untouched expanses for skiing on powder, vast snowfields, a large elevation difference and forest areas devoid of undergrowth. Since the local population is not particularly fond of skiing, the slopes are very free, and the fallen snow lies untouched for a long time. The cable car lifts vacationers in closed six-seater cabins, and ski lifts lead to the trails for beginners. The total length of the cable car is 5 km. The skiing season lasts from mid-December to March.

Toshal, Iran's closest ski resort to Tehran, has been affectionately called "home" by residents of the capital. Alpine snow here is very fine and dry, for which it is especially appreciated by freeride lovers. The longest gondola lift in the world is stretched to the top of the slopes - a trip of 8 km gives a great chance to admire the landscape, gradually flowing from the sandy desert to the endless snow fields. Steep walls with trails of various difficulty levels descend from 3850 m to 1600 m. The total length of the trails is 17 km. The skiing season is the longest in Iran - from mid-November to the end of April.

In modern times, we live gentlemen and there are more and more opportunities for travel. Turkey and Egypt are rather tired, but I also want to relax where it is warm and the sea, the sun, and the beach.

Option one. India. goa

Last New Year's holidays, the family made a wish: "We want summer in the middle of winter." And, without thinking for a long time, they themselves realized it: they bought a tour to Goa - the smallest and everyone's favorite state in hot India. There, for a whole week, they fled from frost and blizzards. Well, how were they saved? In the whirlwind of resort life, one somehow did not think about winter.

Goa in terms of beaches is the richest place. The 100-kilometer beach line stretches continuously. The beaches, well-groomed with white luxurious sand, are closely adjacent to each other, at least visit a new one every day, but compare. So, by the way, we did.

Lived in the strip Aguada beach. Our hotel, like all the nearby ones, was a measure of luxury: modern, comfortable rooms, furnished according to European standards, but with a touch of local flair. In the courtyard - pools, hammocks, colorful vegetation and egrets, like a revived picture from a book of oriental tales.

When our own beach was not enough for us, the whole family went on adventures. Of the nearby beaches, my family especially won over Dona Paula, one of the most romantic places in South Goa and Bogmalo- the most convenient (located just 4 km from and 8 km from the town of Vasco da Gamma).

Every day we enjoyed the local weather. Sunny, air temperature +30, water - five degrees lower. We managed to escape to a paradise place in the middle of January. And conclude that Goa is a holiday destination for everyone:

  • For lovers of exotic and luxury (after all, in the southern part of the island you can stay in an expensive hotel and give almost all your fortune for a chic dinner).
  • For fans of diving (after all, the underwater world here is colorful and bright).
  • For lovers of history and sights (here they are at every turn).
  • For lovers of outdoor activities (entertainment around the clock).
  • For lazy people who prefer to lie on the beach all day (as mentioned above, there are many different beaches here).

An important tip for those who have decided to get to Goa for a couple of winter weeks: decide where you will go. Geographically, the state is divided into Southern and Northern parts. The south, as a rule, is chosen by wealthy people, accustomed to chic and scope. The north is more suitable for budget travelers. Here you will be pleasantly surprised by reasonable prices for accommodation, food, and entertainment. North Goa is very popular among young people.

You may ask what else is interesting about Goa, because beaches, entertainment and restaurants are a standard set inherent in any resort. But this is India! The local flavor here is so unique that it cannot be confused with any other. In what other corner of the earth can you find millennial temple entwined with vines? Where else can you touch the truths of Ayurveda, not twisted in a European way, but true truths (sorry for the tautology). Where, besides India, you can enjoy the amazing aromas of spices? Where else can you experience this carefree freedom, if not on the shores of a warm ocean with the purest water?

To complete the experience, my family and I plunged into everyday life local fishermen. For a small fee, they are happy to take tourists on their boats and allow them to participate in fishing. You know, a hand-caught fish served for dinner is a very tasty dish.

Winter holidays in 2014 are also going to meet in India. Already booked a tour.
