Currently, the Dead Sea consists of two separate basins, separated by an isthmus, which appeared in 1977. The northern one is a larger and deeper reservoir, the maximum depth of which is 306 meters, and the southern one - hotels and mineral mining enterprises are located here, because of which it gradually turned into an artificial reservoir, and therefore the water level here is regulated by man, and the average depth is about two meters.

Then I was very confused by the distance from the hotel to the sea. The travel agency told me very nicely and said that it was only some 120 meters. But as it turned out, in fact, it was necessary to walk for at least 15 minutes, and even in such a terrible heat! I still think that for such a huge amount of money this is a clear bust.

In principle, in the concept of the hotel there is such a thing as transport delivery of vacationing hotel guests to the beach. But here everything comes down to one problem - the drivers absolutely do not want to go back and forth in the heat. You can stand for half an hour in the baking sun and wait for him to deign to drive up, and at that time he sits in the shade and chats on the phone, since Wi-Fi in the hotel is free. To be honest, it was terribly annoying, he was there with air conditioning and you just stand there and then pour yourself in the heat. I really wanted to honestly go up to him and hit him on the head with something.

In general, the hotel certainly looks very cool, but the monotony of the food was terribly annoying. The choice is quite limited for about ten minutes, and you can’t choose anything in the end because there is nothing at all. The lobby bar is very attentive and pleasant staff. A big thank you to them for being so kind. But here was the problem - I did not pay them every time for what I ate or drank, they themselves offered me to do it on record indicating the room number.

And just before leaving, they gave me the bill and I paid it. But the most unpleasant thing, again, was when they gave me another bill, but for something I didn’t drink or eat. And there were still products that I did not order at all. And all my attempts to prove something were meaningless, pay and that's it! I had to pay, it's good that the amount was small. Therefore, people are kind! If you do not want to wag your nerves on vacation, then you should not go to this hotel!

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for only two nights, it was in April of this year when the season was in full swing and the hotel was completely filled. I had to take a superior room for an additional 55 dinars per day because everything else was taken. The check-in took place instantly, for which many thanks to the guys at the reception who very quickly resolve all issues. Our room, which was listed as O-14, was on the second floor and overlooked the main pool. And this is all because there is a restaurant nearby, which these days until 23 pm plays loud Arabic music. If you close the balcony and curtain the windows, it will be more or less bearable, but still a little audible.

The room is superb, very large with two rooms and two bathrooms, everything is very new and the interior is stylish. In both rooms there was a large new TV, our room was already after cosmetic repairs, and in other rooms it was on the sly. But completely imperceptibly, there was no noise, dust, or even the smell of paint.

The bed is very large with brand new linens, everything is nice and clean. The mini-bar is non-alcoholic and free, updated every day. The room had built-in chargers for mobile phones and an alarm clock. Complimentary tea and coffee set. Every day they brought one free bottle of water. There were safes in both rooms and there was also a hair dryer.

Towels were for both hands and body, except for bathrobes and slippers. If suddenly something was missing, then you could call the reception and they would immediately bring it. All toiletries are duplicated since there are two bathrooms. I must say that they are of very high quality. The bathrooms have special threads for drying clothes, a separate bathtub and a separate shower. There is a bidet and even a phone in case something happens to you in the toilet. Two balconies, and on them tables and two ottomans.

It takes no more than five minutes to walk to the restaurant, and about 15 minutes to the sea. You just need to go down the stairs past private villas. Cleaning is very good, but due to the overcrowding of the hotel, the cleaner only reached us by three o'clock in the afternoon. Made the bed, replaced towels and sets in the bathroom. I asked him for a tip for an extra tube of shampoo.

In the main pool, the water is quite suitable temperature and it is very good that there are different depths. But in that pool that is heated (it is located next to it), the water is too chlorinated. The pool bar has music throughout the day and evening. The main pool is more suitable for families and with children as well. Towels were provided near the main pool. There is also a spa, but we did not look into it. But vacationers are very praised.

The disadvantage of the beach is the inconvenient entry into the sea. There are no ladders or slabs, you have to walk along large stones covered with salt. Due to the large number of bathers, the salt is smoothed out in places, but it is still very uncomfortable without slippers - you can easily get hurt. The beach has showers and a vat of therapeutic mud. If you climb up from the sea a little up the stairs, then there is a wide beach strip and there are sunbeds and showers on it too. The water temperature in the sea is just great - not hot and not cold.

The food, due to the large number of vacationers, was according to a simplified scheme, but still chic. For breakfast, four to six types of cereal with nuts and grains, yoghurts are sweet and simple. There was also a yoghurt more reminiscent of a sweetened cream, very tasty with coconut and fiber additives. Boiled eggs, buns, bread, scrambled eggs made with additives to order, two types of sausages and sausages, cheese, potatoes, baked tomatoes, then fresh cucumbers with tomatoes, olives, sardines, fried bacon, salads, croissants, oranges, apples and grapefruits , various jams, nutella, fruit salads, muffins, honey, pancakes, and waffles are baked right in your presence.

For lunch there was always soup, then fried potatoes, baked vegetables, four types of cheese, four or five salads, olives, herbs, fish and meatballs in sauce, kebabs are fried right in front of you, chicken breast too, meat in sauce, including lamb , rice, then cherry tomato pasta, great selection of sweets, chocolate cake, soufflé and cheesecake. In general, everything was awesome delicious. And we are very happy with the food.

So the hotel in which we are resting is not the first time we always like it, we recommend it to you. Well, if you get into the rooms after the update, then in general everything will be wonderful.

I want to warn those who are planning to go here on vacation right away that there are very few hotels on the coast of the Dead Sea from the Jordanian side and they are all very expensive. Well, we were already on fire to go here, so we chose from what we had. This one looked pretty decent in the pictures, the reviews are normal and the price more or less suited us.

When we were already settled about arriving at the hotel, we found out about a very unpleasant surprise - it turns out that in booking the hotel prices do not include taxes and fees, so we had to immediately add twenty percent to the original cost. There is no infrastructure around the hotel at all, only one road. When we stopped by, there was just a gap between lunch and dinner, but we really wanted to eat. We had to take a car and go to the only nearest shopping center Samara. There are three cafes there. Well, in the hotel itself there is a pub with a very smiling bartender.

In the month of February, it is naturally not the season in these places, so a maximum of five people lived in the hotel. Maybe that's why the beach looked completely abandoned with torn umbrellas and a bunch of unburied pipes. Showers work very poorly and there are no changing rooms as such. In the mornings we met a cleaner there, he diligently swept and prepared a bucket of dirt in advance.

There is a construction site right behind the hotel fence, a lot of excavators work there, and of course noise, dust and dirt. Although the hotel was almost empty, they still managed to put us on the patio and we heard our neighbors perfectly from the room opposite. If we had a balcony, we might even have seen everything that was going on in their room. Our room was albeit slightly shabby but still spacious, so in principle it was possible to live.

Reviews about the Dead Sea, which I heard before, were very contradictory. Some of them were not the most flattering. Yes, and the photos of the Dead Sea from friends who saw me off didn’t particularly catch me. So we didn't have any expectations when we set out on a trip along this lake. And, to be honest, the first views of the Dead Sea were as nondescript as in the photo of friends. It was in the evening on the beaches from Jerusalem.

After that, in the dark, we got to. How impressive was the view of the Dead Sea when in the morning we climbed to the roof of the hotel. It was something!

Swimming in the turquoise water made us fall in love with the Dead Sea even more!
