Motor ship "Rus Velikaya" (project REGC.002) of the "Rusich Cruise Fleet" company began its navigation on April 6, having made a trip from Samara to the village of Vinnovka. And the next day, the three-deck ship was supposed to set off on a full-fledged multi-day cruise Samara - Saratov. However, due to the difficult ice conditions on the Syzran-Balaklava section, it was again replaced by a short walk. For the same reason, the cruise tour Samara - Volgograd - Samara, which the operator was going to start today, April 10, and end on April 15, was also canceled.

And now the ship "Rus Velikaya", according to its schedule, on April 16, gets up on its own, which has already become traditional, the line Samara - Kerch. It is planned to perform two 15-day cruises to Crimea. The Volga-Black Sea program will end in mid-May. There is no doubt that the Kerch cruises will take place, said Anton Neshatayev, the executive director of the company, since the forecasts for ice conditions for this period, and even earlier, are the most favorable.

After the southern voyage, "Great Rus" follows to the North-West, to the White Sea. This year, the company has somewhat changed the cruise schedule of the ship: it has increased the duration of its stay on the White Sea, added a new stop - Kiy Island, where there is a temple complex, and the number of previous calls has also increased, primarily to Arkhangelsk. Thus, it is planned to carry out a direct cruise service to the Solovetsky Islands, to Arkhangelsk and to Kiy. Basically, these will be routes from St. Petersburg and only one Moscow - Solovki. Another novelty: a cruise from Moscow to St. Petersburg with access to the Gulf of Finland and stops in Vyborg and Ust-Luga.

At the end of the season, in September, "Rus Velikaya" will arrive in Moscow, from where it will go on a cruise tour to Kerch for 26 days, like last year. Then it will again head for the Crimea, but again from Samara. The ship finishes navigation on October 15.

The level of cruise sales on the ship "Rus Velikaya" by the beginning of April, Anton Neshataev reported, was 75-80%. That almost completely corresponds to last year's figures. At the same time, last year there were noticeably more early bookings, even before the start of the new year. However, in the first months of 2017, interest in river cruises increased again, and the company regained its previous sales volumes.

The cruise schedule of the company's second vessel, the three-deck Rodnaya Rus (project 26-37), almost completely repeats the last year's schedule. From the end of April, it will again go to the Volga tours and to the "around the world" Volga - Kama - Volga lasting 12-15 days. Campaigns to Bereznyakov, above Perm, are again planned. At the same time, the excursion program at the parking lots - in Cheboksary, Chistopol, Sarapul, Solikamsk, Chaikovsky, Yelabuga, Ulyanovsk, Samara, Kazan and other places of call - has become more ambitious.
