Tip 5: How to get a visa to Poland

Any foreign citizen, except for visa-free countries, in order to arrive in another country must issue visa. For this you need:
- a foreign passport or a document replacing it;
- completed visa application form;
- three photographs 3x4cm;
- travel documents or an invitation to enter.

Citizens of some countries are required to have a health insurance policy and an HIV-free certificate with them. An invitation to enter is usually issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or its representatives. They are made on specially protected forms, which will later need to be provided in the original. Any citizen can make a private invitation to a foreign citizen by submitting a written application. From the date of issue of the document, it will be valid for one year or one three-month trip, unless otherwise agreed.

For a foreign person or a stateless person to make visa for a tourist stay in the country, it is necessary:
- confirmation of travel agencies;
- an original travel voucher from a foreign travel agency through which the trip was issued;
- two-way tickets for passenger transport with the exact date of departure from the country .Make visa in this case, it is possible for periods not exceeding thirty days.

To obtain a Schengen visa, you must:

1. One photograph, 37x47 mm, on a gray background.

4. Questionnaire filled out neatly in block letters in one copy on a computer or by hand. The applicant signs it personally. The visa application form is filled in Latin letters.

5. An old passport with marks on previous trips abroad.

6. Documents or relevant informationtelling about the conditions and purposes of the trip (invitation, reservation, cover letter from the employer).

7. The application of a minor applicant must be accompanied by a birth certificate, a copy of which must be made in advance.

Not often, but sometimes it happens that the Consulate requests, in addition to the above, additional documents:

Birth certificate of children (photocopy);

Marriage certificate (photocopy);

Civil passport (photocopy);

Certificate of employment (required quite rarely);

Be prepared to provide the listed documents upon request, at least a certificate of marriage and birth of children, a civil passport.

All collected documents are submitted to the visa department of the consulate.

The consular officer checks the submitted documents. In the case of their correct execution, he takes everything and issues a receipt for payment of the consular fee.

According to the new EU legislation, a child can no longer be included in the parent's visa. For each child, you must fill out a questionnaire and obtain a separate visa. It is pasted into the passport of the parent in which the child is entered. For minors who have their own passport, the procedure for issuing it has not changed.

You will definitely need medical insurance. Moreover, the amount of insurance payments must be at least 30 thousand euros. You can apply for insurance directly at the visa center.
