This will be useful for those people who came to Moscow by train for a subsequent flight to hot countries, or for those who get from one airport to another, I’ll tell you right away why the metro was chosen, everything just doesn’t feel like paying 800 rubles for Aeroexpress, especially if time permits, it’s better to save money, it’s important for families to get away, where for 4 people you will already give 3,000 rubles, and you will win a maximum of an hour in time, but of course it’s up to you.

How to get from Domodedovo to Domodedovo airport

Moscow is a very large city, as a result, there are traffic jams in some parts of the city, so that the fastest way to get from one point to another remains the Moscow metro, which will allow you to get to Domodedovo airport from the Domodedovo metro station. Above I explained why I chose public transport.

The airport itself is located outside the city, in the south of the capital. How to use the metro, I think it makes no sense to tell, go down to any station and go to the Domodedovskaya metro station, this is a green line.

The website www.metromap.ru will help you build your route conveniently.

As soon as you get to the right station, get off the train and turn left, there will be signs on the poles indicating the direction to the 308 bus to Domodedovo.

After leaving the subway doors, above the entrance there will be a sign that sends you to the right. After turning, go to the very end, climbing the aisle for strollers and bicycles.

This is what the bus stop looks like. Two buses are supervised here, one is a private carrier, the second is a social one, what is the difference, of course, in price and frequency of trips:

  • Private Worth > 120 rubles and more often supervises the routes
  • Social Worth > One Trip on a Threesome Card

Bus schedule to Domodedovo Airport

Let's start with the private sector. Conveniently, thanks to the schedule, you can calculate your route and plan a trip. Travel time is 25-30 minutes, the buses are comfortable with a compartment for luggage bags.

I think the question of how to get from Domodedovo to Moscow does not require answers for you, all the same buses, the reverse schedule for a private minibus 308.

You will be able to get from Domodedovo to Domodedovo Airport in an average of 25-30 minutes, the distance is 36 kilometers, I have never seen traffic jams there.

Domodedovo Airport is located approximately 47 kilometers from the center of Moscow and 20 kilometers from the Moscow Ring Road. This is the largest airport in Russia. It consists of two zones: the left one serves flights arriving from abroad, the right one - domestic flights. A “working zone” is organized in the space between the zones: passengers are checked in here, numerous cafes, duty-free shops, lounges and other infrastructure operate. Near the airport there is an air hotel where you can relax or spend a few hours waiting for your flight. Novice travelers are always interested in the question: how to get to Domodedovo Airport? We will try to give a detailed answer to it.

There are several options for how to get to the airport:

  1. Aeroexpress.
  2. Train.
  3. Car, taxi.
  4. Metro + buses.
  5. Shuttle taxi.

Domodedovo is the largest airport in Moscow and Russia

The easiest and fastest way is Aeroexpress. It travels 40-45 minutes, you will not get into traffic jams and will not be late. The train takes 1 hour 15 minutes. But by car and taxi, you need to leave in advance: it’s very easy to get stuck in a traffic jam and spend two hours in it on the Moscow Ring Road or in the city.

Aeroexpress

How to get to Domodedovo Airport by Aeroexpress? It runs from the station "Paveletsky railway station" from 06-00 to 00-30 every 30 minutes. One Aeroexpress ticket to Domodedovo costs 470 rubles, but there are many different tariff plans that help you save money. For example, the “Family” tariff will allow two adults and three children to travel all the way for only a thousand rubles.

Aeroexpress and train are the most convenient ways to get to Domodedovo

car, taxi

Private car and taxi are the most unreliable way to get to the airport. This is due to the fact that there are constant traffic jams on the Moscow Ring Road in this part, and it is quite possible to overcome 50 kilometers from the center in 3-4 hours. Therefore, it is better to choose some other mode of transport. But if you decide to go by car, then leave early. Get a route in your GPS, be sure to check the “consider traffic jams” checkbox. It is best to go along the Kashirskoye Highway (highway A-105, exit from the ring road No. 25).

There are many paid and free parking lots in Domodedovo. Here you can leave your car for several months or days: there are parking lots for short-term and long-term parking nearby. An interesting rule applies to paid parking lots: the first 15 minutes are free. Therefore, if you need to pick up a passenger from an already arrived flight, then you can safely park on them and leave before 15 minutes have passed. Payment for parking is made through machines: do not forget to collect parking tickets. Don't lose them if you're flying away on a long business trip: you won't be able to leave without a receipt. In most parking lots, additional services are available: they can recharge a dead battery, fill the washer fluid, start the engine, etc.

Near the airport there are four short-term parking lots (one of them for VIPs) and two long-term ones. Free parking lots are located about one and a half kilometers from the airport on the left side in the direction of travel from Moscow. To get to them, you will need to turn left in front of the entrance to the complex, and then follow the signs to the village of Volodarsky. There are several gas stations near the airport, but their prices are quite high.

Note: if you need long-term parking, then you can save a lot by using the services. Their parking lots are located about 10 minutes from Moscow airports. Provided free airport shuttle and back, free baggage packing. Cost: when parking for more than 30 days - 200 rubles, with a club card - 225 rubles, regular price - 250 rubles per day.

Domodedovo is one of the largest airports in the capital, ranking second in Russia in terms of passenger traffic. The airport terminal is located in the south-eastern part of Moscow, 45 km from the center and 22 km from the nearest interchange of the Moscow Ring Road.

Before flying, you should know how to get to Domodedovo Airport. By public transport, this can be done quite simply and inexpensively by choosing one of three options: minibus, bus or train.

Minibuses and buses to the airport

Domodedovo is connected to the capital by the A-105 highway, which, near the Moscow Ring Road, connects with the Kashirskoye Highway. Along this route, you will reach your destination by minibus or bus, but it is quite difficult to predict the duration of the trip due to the large number of traffic jams, which depends on the time of day.

There are two types of public transport from Domodedovskaya metro station to Domodedovo airport:

  • Minibus 308. The minimum travel time is only 15 minutes, but such luck is quite rare. The minibus runs every 20 minutes, and the interval can be shorter or longer by 10 minutes. At night, fixed-route taxis run strictly according to the schedule, arriving at the metro station every 40 minutes. The cost of a boarding ticket is 120 rubles. If luggage occupies a passenger seat, then you will have to pay for it separately.
  • Bus 308 will reach the airport in 25-30 minutes, subject to normal traffic. Transport approaches the metro every 15 minutes, the route is open from 6 am to 24 pm. The cost of boarding a regular bus is 100 rubles, and a social bus is 79 rubles. Children under 7 years old and luggage of passengers are transported free of charge.

From the Domodedovo area, you can get to Domodedovo Airport by public transport using bus 30. The schedule varies depending on the day of the week. The fare is 63 rubles, and for Strelka card holders a ticket will cost 48 rubles. A fixed-route taxi runs according to the same scheme, but its cost is slightly higher - 75 rubles. The departure interval is half an hour, minibuses run from 6 am to 10 pm.

Bus 11 runs from the Domodedovo microdistrict to the air harbor. You can take it at 6.17, 7.28, 9.07, 14.00, 17.05, 18.30 and 20.07. If you need to take a bus in the village of Krasny Put, wait for bus 26. It runs almost every hour and the fare is 64 rubles. If you have a Strelka card, you can buy a ticket for 56 rubles.

How to get to Domodedovo by Aeroexpress

The second convenient way to get to the Domodedovo air harbor is the Aeroexpress. Trains run along the route from Paveletsky Station every day, starting at 6 am and ending at 00.30. The train reaches its destination in 45 minutes, following without making stops.

If you buy a ticket through the online service, the cost of the trip will be 420 rubles. A purchase at the box office, through a turnstile or a ticket machine will cost 470 rubles (the same price applies when paying with a Troika transport card). For lovers of a comfortable transfer, there are business class cars, a boarding ticket for which costs 1,000 rubles regardless of the place of purchase.

The Aeroexpress terminal is located on the territory of the Paveletsky railway station. Having reached it, go to the second or third passage. From the metro, you can get to the territory from the Paveletskaya Radialnaya green line station - the exit from the station leads to the terminal. If you have any difficulties, you should navigate by the navigation signs in the subway.

If you arrive at the Paveletskaya Koltsevaya station, located on the brown line, it is recommended to change to the green line, since the exit from the ring station is located on the other side of the Garden Ring. If you get confused and get out there, then you can get to the terminal using the underpass.

Upon arrival of the Aeroexpress, you will find yourself at the Domodedovo terminal, which is located to the right of the airport building, not far from the domestic terminal.

Budget way - train

If you do not want to overpay for the speed and more comfortable conditions of the Aeroexpress, you can use the more economical public transport - the train. They go a little less often, but depart from the same place.

The fare is only 123 rubles, which is almost 4 times cheaper than Aeroexpress. The only downside is travel time. By train, you will have to get to Domodedovo within 1 hour and 20 minutes. But if time is not critical for you, then this method is quite convenient.

The purchase of a ticket is made in special vending machines installed on the territory of the Paveletsky railway station. When choosing a ticket in the system, please note that there are several routes to Domodedovo. You need a ticket to Domodedovo AIRPORT, not to the city - these are different destinations. There are several more intermediate stops between the stations, and the journey time is about 15 minutes.

The train departs at the same place where commuter trains stop. The departure frequency is almost every half an hour, but the schedule should be clarified in advance with the station administration, as it often changes.
