The easiest way to get to Sokolniki Park by metro is, of course, the Sokolniki metro station. Once upon a time, on the site of modern Sokolniki there was a forest through which the large Stromynskaya road passed. According to legend, Dmitry Donskoy walked this road when Khan Tokhtamysh threatened Moscow with his army. When Moscow ceased to be threatened by German troops, all the institutions of the park were immediately restored. In 1959, the first exhibition center was opened, and since then, various interesting exhibitions and other seasonal events have been constantly held in this park.

All paved paths are marked with white lines separating the movement of bicycles in a straight line and in reverse direction.
