They bought water for themselves, and they bought it for me. I didn’t have a penny, but I left without anything [from the hotel]. Ordinary boys (on duty) spent their money on me. Incredible attitude. In addition, they gave me three female investigators. Very attentive, professional. I can say that I am surprised, delighted, and my opinion about our police is orders of magnitude higher than I had before this incident, ”said the entrepreneur.

Earlier, RBC, referring to a source in the Ministry of Internal Affairs and in the hotel, which in hotel room businessman found a white powdery substance. He was sent for examination.

The Moskva Agency on the eve of August 31, citing a source in law enforcement agencies, that, according to a medical examination, Dzhabrailov was under the influence of drugs during the shooting. Also, a positive drug test was reported by RBC, citing sources familiar with its results, and confirmed by an interlocutor in the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Dzhabrailov said that there was no white powder in his room, and, in his opinion, such information was spread by ill-wishers. “The police did the search the next day, together with me, the lawyers and the dog. They didn't find anything. These are all slander and slander of ill-wishers. I don't understand, if a person is famous, he must have the whole fraer set. This is not true,” Dzhabrailov said.

Dzhabrailov was detained on August 29. RBC's source in the Ministry of Internal Affairs said that the ex-senator of United Russia from Chechnya was seen by Four Seasons guards when he was in the elevator with a gun in his hand. After a while, the police arrived. They then entered room 633 on the sixth floor of the hotel together. The door was opened by a man with a gun in his hand. He said, "I won't give up without a fight."

Police representatives noted that a hole was found on the ceiling of the room, after a while Dzhabrailov was detained. Businessman in this moment is under bail. A case was opened against him under Article 213 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (Hooliganism).

The businessman previously ran for president of Russia and until September 1, 2017 was a senator from Chechnya from United Russia.

Google co-founder Larry Page feared losing control of the company in 2011 and even "veiledly threatened" to leave because of it, according to Bloomberg, citing recently released court documents. This is a lawsuit filed by Google shareholders over the issuance by the company of Class C shares without voting rights. In particular, Page feared that another co-founder of the company, Sergey Brin or its then head Eric Schmidt, would sell their voting shares, as a result of which they would lose control over decision-making.

It was because of Page's concerns that Google issued non-voting shares as a special dividend to investors in 2014, the documents show. And before that, Google did not hide the fact that it is important for the founders to maintain control over the company. While Google issued Class A shares in 2004 with one vote each, Page, Brin, and Schmidt had Class B shares with 10 votes. Following Google, the founders of other technology companies, including Facebook and Snap, took advantage of this technique, Bloomberg notes.

This story began in late 2010, when Page was preparing to replace Schmidt as CEO, and Brin was carried away by the risky projects of the Google X laboratory, writes Bloomberg. The Google Board of Directors did not immediately approve the proposal to release new type shares because management demanded that the decision be made quickly and because of concerns that it would not meet corporate governance standards. As a result, the negotiations lasted more than a year. In particular, Page wanted the board of directors to allow him to receive Brin's class B shares in exchange for class C shares. Otherwise, Page would have to pay $ 8.2 billion for them. In addition, Page did not want to make large acquisitions through shares, until non-voting shares are issued so that his control of Google is not diminished.

“Why do I have to work so hard when I could lose control [of Google]?” Page wrote to then board member Paul Otellini, who saw the words as a "veiled threat" to leave the company.

Eventually, in April 2012, the board of directors authorized the issue of non-voting shares, but convinced the Google founders to accept tighter restrictions on the transfer of shares to each other. In particular, none of them should have full control over the voting shares. The shareholder lawsuit was settled when Page and Brin agreed so that the board of directors could better control the sale of non-voting shares. In 2015, as a result of a business reorganization, Google became part of the Alphabet holding company, of which Sundar Pichai became CEO. Page, Brin and Schmidt are no longer actively involved in the management of the company, but still control 56.5% of the vote.

The businessman was detained on August 29 at the Four Seasons hotel in the capital for Okhotny Ryad. The reason was shots at the ceiling from Yarygin's premium pistol. White powder was found in the room, as well as bottles of alcohol and unknown pills. The businessman was charged with hooliganism, he was released on bail. The substances found in the room were sent for examination.

According to the businessman, the actions of the police during the detention were correct. “[Assessing the actions of the police] I can quote the words of Vladimir Mayakovsky: “My police protect me!” Surprisingly, the fighters who took me turned out to be very correct, they acted according to the charter. Despite the fact that I was in a state of passion, I followed all their instructions. I am grateful to them for the fact that they could treat me more cruelly, but in the end they acted boldly, but correctly and professionally, ”he said.

In the police department, according to Dzhabrailov, he was provided with food.
“There was the most cordial attitude towards me. They gave me tea there, they gave me something to eat, what they themselves ate - tea and buns. They fed us what they bought for themselves in the store. They bought water for themselves, and they bought it for me. I didn’t have a penny, but I left without anything [from the hotel]. Ordinary boys (on duty) spent their money on me. Incredible attitude. In addition, they gave me three female investigators. Very attentive, professional. I can say that I am surprised, delighted, and my opinion about our police is orders of magnitude higher than I had before this incident, ”he stressed.

Dzhabrailov also explained the origin of the award pistol, from which he fired shots at the hotel. Earlier, the police reported that Dzhabrailov was awarded the pistol by the Ministry of Internal Affairs. “I was awarded not by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, but by another organization in 2005 or 2006, it belongs to law enforcement agencies, I can’t name its affiliation more precisely. I have an official weapon, registered in the licensing system. Not only do I have a pistol, but I also have a Kalashnikov assault rifle,” the businessman said.

Dzhabrailov refutes the discovery by the police of a white powder in his room. “No one has found anything! By whom was he found? The police did the search the next day, together with me, the lawyers and the dog. They didn't find anything. These are all slander and slander of ill-wishers. I don't understand, if a person is famous, he must have the whole fraer set. This is not true,” he claims, adding that “if they could find anything, it would be baking soda.” RBC sources familiar with the result of Dzhabrailov's rapid test for drug intoxication, earlier that he gave a positive result. This was confirmed by the interlocutor of RBC in the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

“There is nothing [illegal] in my life. Look at me: I am 60 years old, and I go in for sports, lead and promote a healthy lifestyle. A lot of things are said about me behind my back. But let them tell me this to my face, ”concluded Dzhabrailov.

According to the entrepreneur, he did not drink alcohol and drugs. “I didn’t take anything. And never took it in my life. I was checked in the narcological department, for the content of alcohol [test] immediately showed its absence. We will wait for further analysis. If there is something like that, then this is some kind of forgery, ”he stressed.

The businessman's press secretary, Grigory Gorchakov, said: "I don't think it's like that, it looks like a duck in the media." When asked about Dzhabrailov's condition, the press secretary replied: "It's fine, he is recovering."

Earlier it was reported that in the detainee's room found white powder .

The police were called to the hotel on Okhotny Ryad on the evening of August 29 by the hotel security, who saw on video cameras in the elevator a certain guest with a gun in his hands. Three police officers arrived at the scene, they proceeded to the sixth floor and knocked on room 633 - an apartment with three rooms and a kitchen. Dzhabrailov opened the door, holding a pistol pointed at the floor. For some reason, he declared that he would not give up without a fight. The police managed to persuade him to put the gun on the floor, they saw holes in the ceiling, after which Dzhabrailov was taken in handcuffs to the police station (from where he was later released under bail).
