Does Patriarch Kirill have a yacht? Personal life of Patriarch Kirill. Holy places for VIP guests

July 30, 2012, 14:38

"Pallada", one of the most luxurious yachts in Russia, belongs to Patriarch Kirill. The cost of the vessel is $4,000,000. "Pallada" stands on the pier at the Nikolsky skete of the Valaam archipelago, near the Valaam residence of the Patriarch. A private pier has been built for it, and locals say that VIP guests ride on it. The black yacht "Pallada" with tinted windows, with Russian emblems on the sides and a tricolor on the stern is moored at the Nikolsky Skete of the Valaam Archipelago. Not far from here is the Valaam residence of the Patriarch. "Pallada" almost always stands here - its own pier has been built for it. Against the background of St. Nicholas Church, it looks like a presidential limousine against the backdrop of the Kremlin. According to local residents, VIP guests arriving on Valaam ride on the yacht, and Patriarch Kirill himself loves it. Last September, for example, His Holiness made a voyage along the Volga on the Pallada.

Pallada is an exclusive luxury vessel, its description can be found in the catalogs of the most famous yachts. It was built at the shipyards of the Dutch-Russian consortium Timmerman Yachts in 2003 by the Dutch architect Guido de Groot.

The yacht is designed for comfortable accommodation of 8 people plus there are cabins for four crew members. On board there is a living room with a home cinema and bar counter, a dining room with a dining table for 8 people and several bedrooms, some of which have king-size double beds. The floors are covered with white carpets. White leather furniture is made of elite woods.

The yacht is equipped with modern equipment, including an electronic mapping system, a SONAR radar station, a navigational warning receiver, mooring cameras and a bow thruster. When Patriarch Kirill traveled on the Pallada to the Yaroslavl and Rostov diocese, his press service, which covered this event through the secular media, delicately called the Pallada a "small ship." Compared with cruise ships, "Pallada" is really small: 32 meters long and about 8 meters wide. Its cost, according to various estimates, is $4 - 6.7 million. Annual maintenance of such yachts costs an average of 10 - 20 percent of the cost. Before serving the Patriarch, "Pallada" belonged to the Administration of the President of Russia. Then Vladimir Putin was president. They say that the yacht was specially built for the 300th anniversary of St. Petersburg, so that the head of state could adequately welcome guests of the sea capital of Russia on it. On the same yacht, Vladimir Putin took part in the celebrations on the occasion of the 1250th anniversary of Staraya Ladoga. In 2005, Pallada was donated to the Russian Orthodox Church. But not directly by the president, but through an “intermediary”. From the property of the Manager of Affairs, the yacht was bought by Lukoil, and then the oil workers donated it to the church. Most likely, the donation scheme was built in advance at the highest level through mutual agreements between the leaders of business, church and government.

Adopted the so-called "Methodological recommendations on the participation of the Russian Orthodox Church in environmental protection”, the authors of which complain that “immoderation, greed, money-grubbing, lack of culture are direct sources of the current difficult environmental situation in the world". That same summer, the Patriarch of Moscow and All Rus' Kirill in all its glory lit up on his own Black Sea "dacha", the story of the construction does not even serve as a guide to immoderation, greed, money-grubbing and lack of culture, but deserves a couple of dozen volumes of a criminal case. [...]

The environmental online magazine, however, suggested that the church start its environmental work not with a prayer service and sweeping the streets, but with the disclosure of information about the so-called "dacha of the patriarch." For greater persuasiveness, the publication sent a request to the chairman of the synodal information department of the Moscow Patriarchate of the Russian Orthodox Church, Vladimir Legoyda.

"Dacha of the Patriarch"- a textbook example of how the state took and simply evaporated on a single piece of Russia (the entire "dacha history" is collected here, and a brief chronology is here): prosecutors evaporated, the police evaporated, Rosprirodnadzor retired from performing its duties, everyone disappeared local authorities. Following them, hundreds of Red Book Pitsunda pines disappeared, in the place of which a nauseating-looking monolithic concrete structure grew up, a sort of variation of the Moscow tower of the era of Ivan the Terrible.

The history of this architectural splendor began in 2004 with this letter to Governor Tkachev:

Patriarchs choose their fiefs and issue instructions to the Baskaks

As you can see, being a patriarch (at that time still Alexy II), you can quite easily give instructions to any governor: you are there, they say, move quickly with the registration of the land and the start of construction on the public coast with relic pines. And here, in the meantime, we will begin to invent the church's "environmental doctrine."

The construction of the “dacha” was accompanied by outrageous lies both from the Russian Orthodox Church itself and from government agencies. It was said either about the "hotel for pilgrims", then about the "spiritual Cultural Center”, then in general about some purely resort facility, almost a brothel. But we must pay tribute to the late Alexy - he did not particularly shine at his scandalous "dacha".

Unlike, however, his successor, Mr. Gundyaev not only does not hesitate to have a nice rest in Divnomorskoye, but, as they say, locals, does not even hesitate to use the FSB coast guard for protection during swimming and boat trips.

The other day I was sent a curious photo essay about how a man who looks like Patriarch Kirill, famously steers the yacht Azimut (this is the name of the Italian shipyard, which occupies one of the leading positions in the world in the construction of exclusive motor yachts) in the sea between the villages of Dzhanhot and Divnomorskoye, in a place called the Blue Abyss. The photo was taken about a month ago by one of the guests. By happy accident that day, for some reason, the border guards did not protect the patriarchal peace and did not disperse the excursion boats.

The FSB officers screwed up and made it possible to shoot a citizen Gundyaev on a yacht

Another picture shows how a certain gray-haired old man-millionaire (probably, only by some misunderstanding resembling Mr. Gundyaev) is hooked to a cable, obviously intending to be dipped into the water.

The Patriarch is taken in tow

I wonder who these people are in abundance on the Azimut yacht, except for a man who looks like a patriarch? On close examination top photo it begins to seem that the profile of a man in white, sitting near the taxiing "patriarch", resembles Vladimir Legoydu- the same Legoyd who has not yet responded to the request (although, of course, it may not be him, but some other church figure - it is difficult to make out the image with a strong magnification).

Legoyda's request for the construction of a "spiritual and cult center" in Gelendzhik. Download document in .pdf format

If anyone is interested in buying an Azimut yacht for such boat trips, you can find out the prices on this site. The price tag for a yacht like the one with which a gray-haired old man was dipped into the water (Magellano 43 series) starts from 440 thousand euros - and this is just the price in Europe. In Russia, Magellano 43s cost from 680 thousand euros and more. Such is the "environmental policy" with "guidelines".

In general, I believe that it will take a very long time to wait for an answer from the Russian Orthodox Church regarding the Black Sea “dacha”. And criminal cases regarding the seizure of the territory of the state forest fund, blocking the coast with a blank fence, felling Pitsunda pines, regarding the failure of foresters and environmental inspectors to fulfill their direct duties, and so on and so forth, will take even longer. As I already wrote, herds of hamsters with joyful hooting rushed to copy-paste "exposure about the Patriarch's yacht": "Pallada", one of the most luxurious yachts in Russia, belongs to Patriarch Kirill.
Naturally, a bunch of hysterical comments on the topic "greedy priests spend money on yachts, instead of donating to sick children" ...
But upon closer examination, it turned out that with the "Patriarch's yacht" everything is not quite the way the "fighters against clericalism" are trying to portray:

About the history of the creation of the yacht:
The Timmerman Yachts consortium is trying to create the world's leading manufacturer of luxury yachts on the basis of the Moscow shipbuilding plant, which produced river trams.
MSSS specialists went on an internship at Dutch shipyards. The plant itself was modernized and "moved" from trams to yachts. The very first 31-meter sample with the sonorous name "Pallada" was commissioned by the Administration of the President of the Russian Federation for the 300th anniversary of St. Petersburg. True, President Vladimir Putin visited his "Pallada" only twice: already in 2005 the yacht was purchased by LUKOIL specifically to present it as a gift to the Spaso-Preobrazhensky Valaam Monastery.
(from here)

Fuel company "LUKOIL" donated the ship "Pallada" to the monastery.
The yacht "Pallada" will become the tenth vessel of the monastery fleet and will soon change its worldly name to one more befitting of its new status. Traditionally, passenger ships on Valaam they bear church names. There are motor ships "Hegumen Damaskin", "Saint Nicholas", "Saint Alexy" here. "Pallada" will be called "The Tsaritsa". Icon Mother of God"The Tsaritsa", written on Mount Athos and donated to the Spaso-Preobrazhensky Valaam Monastery by the Athos brethren two years ago, is now one of the shrines of the monastery.
The yacht was built at the Moscow Shipyard and launched in 2003. For two years it was at the disposal of the presidential administration, and this year it was acquired by LUKOIL specifically for subsequent transfer to the Valaam Monastery, the largest and most visited island monastery in Russia. This gift is part of the Russian Orthodox Church Company's charitable assistance program.

“Tens of thousands of people visit Valaam every year,” says Bishop Pankraty, hegumen of the Transfiguration of the Savior Valaam Monastery. — We have heads of state, distinguished foreign guests, heads of local Orthodox churches. And it is good that now we will be able to properly receive guests of honor who wish to get acquainted with our monastery and touch its shrines with their souls.

Under the "proper level" is meant not only comfort, but also the safety of swimming. The Pallada's interior is quite modest, but it is equipped with a set of the most modern navigation equipment. Ladoga is not the calmest place for navigation and is well known to sailors for its whims.

2005 year. Lukoil donates a yacht to the Valaam Monastery:
“The idea to donate a yacht to the Valaam Monastery was born in the company not by chance. The significance of this monastery in the history of the Russian Orthodox Church is very great, it is often called Northern Athos. tens of thousands of people visit, including state leaders, distinguished foreign guests, heads of Local Orthodox Churches.
The yacht complies with all Russian and international standards for ships of this class, and a complex of modern equipment allows to ensure high safety of navigation. This is important in the conditions of Ladoga, which is known for its obstinate character and is considered quite difficult for navigation. The vessel can sail with wave heights up to 3.5 meters and wind speeds up to 24 m/s. The Valaam monk, a professional sailor, will operate the crew boat. Having merged into the monastery fleet, the Pallas will receive a new name and will be called the All-Tsaritsa. The icon of the Mother of God, called "The Tsaritsa", painted on Mount Athos and donated to the Valaam Monastery by the Athos brethren two years ago, is now one of the shrines of the monastery and is located in the church of St. Sergius and Herman of Valaam.

About content issues:
The monks sincerely thanked for the generous gift, promising to replace the romantic name "Pallada" with the more familiar name for the brethren - "The Tsaritsa", in honor of one of the shrines of the monastery, the icon of the Mother of God.
All day, the astonished monks walked around the luxurious ship. The next morning, the inappropriate poster was taken down. And on the third day they thought about what to do with an expensive gift.
- Problems began in a couple of weeks, - one of the inhabitants of the monastery, father Vasily, told "Life". - Serious money is needed to maintain a fabulously expensive ship. Nobody left them for us. We calculated that only for polish and special shampoos you need up to 20 thousand rubles a month. Where? And if the yacht is not looked after, it will fall apart before our eyes. Moreover, the salary of the team (they are used to receiving in the capital), provisions, fuel. We grabbed our heads. Of course, a noble gift, no words. But for us monks, it is out of place. Only leads to confusion.
After consulting, the holy fathers sent the yacht to St. Petersburg, and from there to the capital - at the disposal of the Moscow Patriarchate. Like, let the higher authorities deal with her.

2005: "The Pallada yacht, donated in July to the Spaso-Preobrazhensky Valaam stauropegial monastery, was sent for repair and winter storage to the Moscow shipyard," Interfax was told in the press service of the monastery. churches" by the company "LUKOIL". "Pallada" will return to the monastery only in May next year.
With the onset of cold weather, the yacht must be placed in a closed box, because it is too "fragile" and cannot withstand the pressure of ice. In addition, Pallada needs minor repairs, the press officer explained.

Interview with Bishop Pankraty, Abbot of the Spaso-Preobrazhensky Valaam Monastery:
...
— They say that Vladimir Putin donated to the monastery an ultra-modern yacht "Pallada" worth 1.5 million euros. Why do you need her?
- I'll make it clear. Pallada is not a gift from the president, but from LUKOIL. And besides, the gift is not to the Valaam Monastery, but to the entire Orthodox Church. This was emphasized by the oilmen themselves. The yacht, like the residence, serves for representative purposes. We proceed from the conviction that you can live in cells yourself, but guests should be received with dignity. It would be another matter if the monks themselves went fishing on this yacht!
(from here)

So:
Absolutely predictably, hamsters began to suck on "luxury" and traditionally remember "taxpayers' money" (I wonder if at least 1% of them pay taxes honestly and in full?).
However, there were also adequate users - who, before running away shouting "repost!" decided to check the information.
It turned out that the Russian Orthodox Church did not buy the yacht - it was bought by Lukoil from the balance sheet of the Presidential Administration and donated by the oil corporation to the Valaam Monastery.
In 2005, this was reported by the official portal of the Republic of Karelia "The Pallada yacht from the presidential fleet, bought by the LUKOIL oil company for the Russian Orthodox Church, was presented today to the Valaam Spaso-Preobrazhensky Monastery." The media also notice that "the gift for the monks turned out to be unexpectedly expensive and troublesome. The yacht went to the monks along with echo sounders, mooring cameras, unique interiors and a team of four. Maintenance of yachts of this class usually amounts to at least 10% of the price of the yacht itself per year ", so she was returned for storage and redecoration to the Moscow Shipyard. Later, after undergoing cosmetic repairs and optimization of equipment and interiors, it was returned to the Patriarchy. “So the ship was donated to the late Patriarch Alexy II, it did not belong to the president for long, and was never officially registered with him at all,” meticulous bloggers report.

Quite expectedly, "dissenters" joined the movement. And even when it turned out that the Russian Orthodox Church did not buy this yacht, they did not calm down, "turning the arrows" on Putin. Vaughn, they write, "Earlier, Putin constantly swam on this luxury." But here, too, the Gavriks got into trouble - yacht resources write that "the president was on the yacht only a few times when he came as a pilgrim to Valaam." And the specialists neigh "Something like a cabin looks rather poor, a boat was recently made at our shipbuilding plant - a simple one, a floating base for river submariners, and then it has a cooler cabin", "our office has a corporate ship, so the situation will be richer there." And, of course, when the Patriarch is reminded of an armored limousine (say, "what is he afraid of?") - that the Pope of Rome will have a more armored car, and Christian leaders - the declared goal No. 1 of Islamic terrorists, people "forget".

Of course, on the issue of luxurious decoration Orthodox churches and the clothes of the clergy have long been broken more than one thousand copies, however, speaking of similar traditions of Christianity, some users report "Christ, by the way, did not wear rags, but walked in whole-woven clothes, which only kings and very rich people could then afford." To the question "why not sell luxury yacht and not feed the poor" they quote "Mary, taking a pound of pure precious ointment of nard, anointed the feet of Jesus and wiped His feet with her hair; and the house was filled with the fragrance of the world. Then one of His disciples, Judas Iscariot, who wanted to betray Him, said: Why not sell this oil for three hundred denarii and give it to the poor?

The Russian media found out that while the “collectors of Russian lands” in the Kremlin are courageously “fighting” against the “pernicious influence” of the West, Patriarch Kirill rides the seas on yachts, with might and main tasting the charm of Western values.

IN last days corruption scandals simply shake the Kremlin and the structures and organizations loyal to it. The noise around Putin's press secretary, Dmitry Peskov, did not have time to subside, with his watches for 37 million, yacht rentals and Italian hotels for 55.5 million and an apartment for 470 million rubles, as a new misfortune happened, this time with the head of the Russian Orthodox Church (ROC), Patriarch Kirill.

The Russian media found out that while the “collectors of Russian lands” in the Kremlin are courageously “fighting” against American “imperialism” and the “pernicious influence” of the West, hanging tons of “noodles” on the ears of neighbors in the CIS, the main priest of All Rus' and the “martyr of spiritual bonds” Patriarch Kirill drives across the seas to expensive yachts like the most inveterate sinner. And with might and main tasting the charm of Western values, with such anger he denounces before the duped Russian flock.

On The “holy” yacht has a living room with a home cinema and a bar counter, a dining room with a dining table for 8 people, several bedrooms with king-size double beds, white carpets, white leather, and luxury wood furniture. The estimated cost of the vessel is 4 million euros. It is calculatedo for comfortable accommodation of 8 people. The maintenance of a yacht of this class costs about 10% per year of its value. The ROC does not answer the question about the sources of money for the repair and maintenance of the ship. They say that the Valaam monks, who were responsible for looking after the yacht, were shocked by the cost of it.

According to the media of the Russian Federation, Patriarch Kirill is among the non-poor people Russia. He travels around Moscow in an armored Mercedes as part of a motorcade, and a Breguet watch worth $100,000 was seen on his wrist. Not so long ago, there was a scandal with an apartment for 50 million rubles in an elite building on Frunzenskaya embankment. Manufacturers of luxury Italian furniture, each piece of which costs several thousand euros, boasted that they furnished the patriarch's chambers to order.

The scandal around the head of the Russian Orthodox Church is so loud that even deputies of the State Duma of the Russian Federation intervened in the matter, urging the FSB to investigate this disgrace. Apparently, Russian parliamentarians are not without a sense of humor, because the definition of "FSB against corruption" sounds about as fresh as the expression "addict against drugs." But that's a topic for another discussion...

It is useful for the Armenian public, a significant part of which is still in Soviet “half-asleep” and in captivity of rotten Bolshevik ideologies, to know the “quality” of new Russian realities and the essence of the real orientations of our sworn "ally", who has now decided to trade the national interests of Armenia.

« Patriarch Kirill» and his luxury yacht: why is the ROC silent?

Andrey Kuraev and Alexander Nevzorov in an interview with Sobesednik.ru spoke about the news about the luxurious yacht of Patriarch Kirill (in the world - Gundyaeva).

On September 22, photographs appeared on the Internet in which an elderly gray-haired man, similar to Patriarch Kirill, makes a boat trip on the Azimut yacht for 680 thousand euros. In one picture, the elder is at the helm of the ship, in the other, he is about to dive into the sea in the town of Golubaya Abyss near the village of Divnomorskoye, where, according to unofficial data, the palace of the head of the Russian Orthodox Church (ROC) is located.

Environmental rights activist Dmitry Shevchenko posted this photo report on the Internet. According to Shevchenko, the pictures were sent to him by a vacationer who saw the yacht back in August. The environmental rights activist suggested that one of the companions of Patriarch Kirill, judging by the photo, could be Vladimir Legoyda, chairman of the Synodal Information Department of the Moscow Patriarchate.

Church reaction

Vladimir Legoyda, as well as some other representatives of the Russian Orthodox Church, who were reached by Sobesednik.ru, categorically refused to comment on the rumors about the boat trip of Patriarch Kirill.

The deaf silence of the clergy was explained by Protodeacon, religious and public figure Andrei Kuraev.

- Well, who wants trouble? That's why they refuse [to comment]. Yes, they harm themselves by doing this, but everyone thinks about their career, and therefore they are silent. To be honest, there is nothing wrong with this [walking on a yacht]. This summer I was taken on more cool yacht and in the Mediterranean Sea. There is no compromising in this - Kuraev told Sobesednik.ru.

According to the protodeacon, Patriarch Kirill, who was riding on a yacht, became a victim of information, having fallen under the sight of someone's camera. At the same time, he doubted that one of the satellites of the head of the Russian Orthodox Church was Vladimir Legoyda.

It seems to me that next to him on the yacht in the photo is not Legoyda, - Andrey Kuraev noted. - Most likely, this is not some kind of church person, but some kind of Malofeev [businessman Konstantin Malofeev, known for his religious views].

ROC on the neck of taxpayers

Publicist Alexander Nevzorov, who is called the main atheist of Russia, shared his thoughts on the patriarch's yacht with Sobesednik.ru:

- I don't see anything extraordinary. It shocks you [readers] every time. You are naive sweet children who take seriously the stories that Christians strive for asceticism, for the mortification of the flesh, for depriving themselves of pleasures. Nothing like this! These are ordinary men and women, no different from you, living completely full life, at the same time, they sell you all sorts of ancient tales for your own money, which you pay them in the form of your own taxes or purchased candles.

Ignorance, on the other hand, must cause some inconvenience to a person. Your ignorance gives you inconvenience, so you are surprised every time that Gundyaev goes on yachts. So what? And what is this? It's absolutely normal : skiing, hotels, girls, boys - pink and flexible - figurine yachts. They sit on your neck, guys! You pay taxes, they are exempt from them. They don't have transparent bookkeeping, they can do whatever they want with the money, - Alexander Nevzorov addressed the readers of Sobesednik.ru.

Our interlocutor believes that the Russian Orthodox Church, ignoring reports of the material well-being of Patriarch Kirill, adheres to a position that is advantageous for itself. If the clergy get involved in the discussion, if they "enter the ring of public space", then they will instantly "break their noses into cakes," Nevzorov is sure.

- Christianity as a religion has long since died. There are only people who make money on the smell that it now emits. The history of Christianity, when it was taken seriously in the first centuries, included both martyrs and ascetics... People smeared themselves with feces all their lives to get ulcers. Some slept standing up, like Simeon the Stylite, in order to torture themselves. Some wore a large stone hat all their lives, and some, to get rid of thoughts about yachts and girls, dipped their asses and genitals into an anthill for a long time, like St. Macarius. Now we don't see it. We see fat, arrogant, unceremonious people who are glad that they are in demand by the kingdom to create some kind of ideology, and squeeze everything they can out of it, - said Alexander Nevzorov.

« And if this is not Patriarch Kirill on luxury yacht, then who?!»

Environmental rights activist Dmitry Shevchenko told Sobsednik.ru how the "patriarch's yacht" changed the life of the Krasnodar village.

Ecological watch coordinator North Caucasus» Dmitry Shevchenko published photos of the elderly owner of the Azimut yacht, who looks like Patriarch Kirill. In the pictures, a gray-bearded old man stands at the helm of a boat for 680 thousand euros and dives into the water, girded with a lifeline. According to Shevchenko, back in August, a vacationer in the village of Divnomorskoye captured on camera the yachtsman's bathing Krasnodar Territory, where, according to rumors, there is a "cottage of the patriarch".

How summer rest clergyman spoils the lives of ordinary citizens, Sobsednik.ru spoke with environmental rights activist Dmitry Shevchenko:

- We have been engaged in the "dacha of the patriarch" for the past seven years - from the very beginning of the construction strange object. We saw how the seizure of the territory was carried out: in an unprecedentedly brazen way, a plot of the state forest fund of about 10 hectares was seized. Part of this area - These are settlement lands, there are no problems here. But as far as the forest fund is concerned, according to the law, it cannot be privately owned, it cannot be surrounded by fences, especially capital ones. Enough was destroyed a large number of pines listed in the Red Book.

We are monitoring the situation with this cottage. Vacationers and locals, as it turned out, also keep a close eye on what egregious things happen there when this important person travels there on a yacht. Local residents are perplexed why, when resting, there are border guards who disperse everyone. Not only has a gross violation of the law been carried out, but also the violation of the rights of citizens in such a constant regime is happening. People are driven off the coast, people are not allowed to swim on boats - this is not normal.

- What other inconveniences can the "dacha of the patriarch" bring to local residents?

- The biggest inconvenience - this is that the shore is blocked by a fence. The coast is steep. The trail used to be. This is also an old trail, which has historical meaning. A fence has grown in place of this path, which prevents free passage along the coast. In addition, there is an old village cemetery, it is already closed, people are not buried there. Nevertheless, close people are buried there with local residents, and they cannot get there, except by going around the “cottage of the patriarch”. This is also, I think, an abnormal situation. There is a lot of everything here - both ecological, and legal, and ethical aspects. We have to do something about it. If the Patriarch and the Russian Orthodox Church have not yet commented on this situation in any way, they must be encouraged to speak out somehow.

- Sobesednik.ru called, but everyone is silent.

- This is also an indicator. In my opinion, this is a clear indicator of their attitude, their position.

- AAre you sure that it is the patriarch in the photo?

Well, even if not a patriarch, it would be very interesting to know who it is. Because the yacht is really not the cheapest. Moreover, as we see, it controls old man. Out of pure curiosity, it would be interesting to know who it is, if not the patriarch. And I repeat that this yacht is seen there regularly, this is not some isolated case - some rich man swam. The yacht is seen regularly and regularly patrolled by Coast Guard personnel.

- According to your information, does the patriarch often appear there?

- It usually appears in the summer. Locals say that last season he actively appeared there. But it's hard to say exactly - information is closed.

- Are you satisfied with the reaction to your publication?

There was a big enough resonance. But the ROC ignored this.

Oleg Ushakov

Who is wealthier: our Patriarch Kirill or their Pope Francis?

The “interlocutor” found out what he was hiding and who was being driven by the Pallada yacht, which, according to rumors, was presented by Putin to Patriarch Kirill.

Aki on dry

The appearance of the head of the Russian Orthodox Church in public never goes unnoticed. And not only thanks to the high rank, but also in connection with the entourage that accompanies every appearance of the Patriarch in the people. Last week, Kirill arrived at a meeting with pilgrims on a yacht, which immediately got into the camera lenses. According to the most conservative estimates, the boat costs several hundred thousand euros.

- The yacht was rented and does not belong to the Patriarch, - assured journalists in the Moscow Patriarchate.

According to Sobesednik, the rent of such a vessel costs from 14 to 100 thousand rubles per hour, not counting the services of the crew. A cruise from Moscow to Ples can take 1-3 days, and in general, such a trip can cost from 500 thousand to 1.5 million rubles.

This time, the Patriarch did not use his yacht "Pallada", which the representatives of the Russian Orthodox Church in their press releases call "modest transport", and the compilers of catalogs - exclusive luxury vessel. "Pallada" was made to order by Dutch craftsmen and is luxurious in a presidential way. She was the President. In the sense that it was on the balance sheet of the Presidential Administration and was intended for Vladimir Putin's water movements. After 2 years of ownership, the Manager of Affairs sold the yacht to the Lukoil oil company, so that the oilmen would immediately give it to Patriarch Kirill, who is not indifferent to water and boat trips. Most time, the yacht was moored at the St. Petersburg courtyard of the Valaam Monastery.

VIP prayer

"Interlocutor" traced where "Pallada" is now located. A special resource that controls the movement of all yachts registered the Pallada on June 28 in the port of Rybinsk, and on July 4 - in the Saint Petersburg port. Now the yacht has been cruising on Lake Ladoga for several days.

- Who is now rolling along Ladoga "Pallada"? - “Interlocutor” asked the press secretary of the Valaam Monastery, Mikhail Shishkov.

- There are two types of visits to our monastery : official and unofficial. Everything that is official, we report in open sources. We do not cover informal visits. "Pallada" is used not only for walks and trips of the Patriarch, but also for meeting VIP guests who can come both openly and non-publicly - just pray. These may be members of the government, and the first persons who, in this moment they do not want to be in the frame, as they come with a private purpose. Some of them also fly in helicopters. Our pilgrims have very different material status and different requirements for their safety.

Mikhail Shishkov did not name the names of the Pallada VIP passengers, but even without this it is clear that the circle of people whom the Patriarch can receive on board is not wide. The yacht has a living room with a home cinema and a bar counter, a dining room with a dining table for 8 people, several bedrooms with king size double beds, white carpets, white leather, luxury wood furniture. Estimated value of the vessel - 4 million euros. It is designed for comfortable accommodation of 8 people. The maintenance of a yacht of this class costs about 10% per year of its value. The ROC does not answer the question about the sources of money for the repair and maintenance of the ship. They say that the Valaam monks, who were responsible for looking after the yacht, were at first shocked by the cost of it. But now, apparently, the issue is resolved.

Patriarch Kirill is among the non-poor people of our country.

The "Patriarch's Dacha" on the Black Sea near Divnomorskoye has also been in the center of public attention for several years now.

- Significant areas of relic pine forest were cut down to free up the area for the construction of residence facilities. It all ended with the construction of capital fences, the installation of electronic security systems, the taking of the territory of the facility under the control of the FSO, so that even a mouse could not slip through and interfere with the rest of His Holiness, - Andrei Rudomakha, coordinator of the Environmental Watch for the North Caucasus, told the Sobesednik. - Residents of Divnomorskoye and vacationers were deprived of the opportunity to use the old Dzhankhotskaya road for walking and for recreation, the forest and the coast, seized under the residence.

“Each visit of the Patriarch to rest caused huge problems for local residents and vacationers - from blocking the waters of the sea near the village to a ban on funerals with mourning music in the cemetery adjacent to the residence. To disguise the dacha of the Patriarch, they gave a long official name"The Patriarchal and Synodal Spiritual, Administrative and Cultural Center of the Russian Orthodox Church in the South of Russia". Actually it is " summer residence Patriarch”, and this fact is documented”, - environmentalists write in their appeal to the department of Ros-prirodnadzor for the South federal district, the Prosecutor's Office of the Krasnodar Territory, the Regional Ministry of Natural Resources.

Smaller church hierarchs are also not content with God's grace alone, but enjoy all the achievements and benefits of civilization and the material world. The craving for luxury, conciliation with secular authorities, the friendship of the church elite with moneybags has more than once generated scandals within the church. Dissenting priests left the ROC.

- All this talk about who owns what and who has what - it is from envy, which is sin, - Mikhail Shishkov expresses the point of view prevailing in the modern Russian Orthodox Church. - Who envy the monks and their lives - welcome to the tonsure! You can answer with the words of John of Kronstadt, who spoke : how can I offend a person who gives me a gift, I must accept it with humility! The second question, John said, is how I will feel about it. : if passionately - then it is wrong.

Yes, John of Kronstadt accepted gifts. But he distributed everything donated to monasteries and the needy.

How about"them"? What do you havePopesRimsky

Pope Francis became famous for being unpretentious in everyday life and gradually getting rid of the luxury inherited from his predecessors.

Residence. After inspecting his residence in the Vatican, the Pope was dissatisfied : “Too luxurious. There is enough space for 300 people.” - and ordered that the number of rooms allotted to him be reduced. The throne, installed in the Clementine Hall, was replaced by the pontiff with an ordinary chair.

Popemobile. former head catholic church traveled in a special armored car ("daddymobile"), which was converted from a Mercedes-Benz SUV. The car of the new Pope is also made to order, but based on a fundamentally cheaper car. - Hyundai Santa Fe. The priest refused the glass bulletproof superstructure.

Ring. The traditional papal ring of impressive size has always been made of gold. Francis decided to save money and ordered a gilded silver item from a jeweler.

Self-service. Francis sometimes refuses the services of assistants and secretaries. At first, this led to curiosities. One day, the operator, who did not expect to be called by His Holiness himself, reacted : "Yes? Pope? And I - Napoleon."

Capture of the Black Sea« dacha of the Patriarch» received confirmation?

Ecologists actually have a chance to evict the Patriarch from those meters that, according to the cadastral data, do not belong to him.

"Dacha Patriarch" in the Black Sea village of Divnomorskoye was built in 2003. The public has repeatedly demanded to check the legality of the fence around the Patriarch's house and plot. : This fence, activists point out, encloses part of the relic forest fund and the exit to the Black Sea.

- We have repeatedly written to various authorities on this fact, raised the issue at the visiting Council under the President for Human Rights. When the uproar arose, the Moscow Patriarchate officially renamed this facility the “Patriarchal and Synodal Spiritual, Administrative and Cultural Center of the Russian Orthodox Church in the South of Russia”, which is complete nonsense. The object was always used only for the rest of His Holiness and his relatives, - Andrey Rudomakha, coordinator of the Environmental Watch for the North Caucasus, told Interlocutor.

According to Rudomakha, an additional, but very important detail has now come to light. : on the public cadastral map, the fenced strip of coast along the edge of the cliff above the Black Sea is not officially included in the land plots occupied by the residence at all. According to this map, all three land plots located near the coast, which are in use by the Russian Orthodox Church, do not come close to the edge of the cliff over the Black Sea, leaving there a strip of forest 15 to 40 meters wide not transferred to the use of the patriarchate.

- Thus, the Moscow Patriarchate does not have any right not to use it at all and simply seized it without permission! - ecologist says.

« personal guard» Patriarch Kirill came under the hood of the FSB

State Duma deputy Valery Rashkin turned to the leadership of the FSB with a request regarding the activities of the Forty Sorokov movement.

“Statements of the leaders and participants of the Forty Sorokov movement (which uses the abbreviation “SS” in its branding and designation), various photos - and video materials posted by members of this movement on the Internet suggest that this organization is actively interacting with radical extremist groups, including radical groups of football fans ; and in fact this organization itself is a radical formation engaged in combat training of its members, many of whom adhere to neo-Nazi ideology. There are numerous testimonies of citizens who received threats of physical violence from members of the "SS" due to the fact that these citizens opposed the construction of new Orthodox churches in residential areas of Moscow. In addition, members of the "SS" repeatedly (there are photos - and video evidence) attacked and committed violent acts of a physical nature against citizens and activists of various non-political organizations who do not share the ideology of the “defenders of Orthodoxy”, - stated in the appeal of the deputy addressed to the head of the FSB.

According to the parliamentarian, the activity of the Forty Sorokov movement causes serious concern and requires close attention from the Russian special services and law enforcement agencies. The deputy believes that the activities of the "SS" and the actions of members of this "Orthodox" organization may fall under a number of articles of the Criminal Code Russian Federation, including under Article 287 of the Criminal Code “Creation of an illegal armed formation”, Article 282 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Inciting hatred or enmity, as well as humiliation of human dignity” (extremism), Article 212 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Mass riots” (pogroms). Valery Rashkin refers, among other things, to numerous open access materials of the members of the Forty Sorokov movement themselves, confirming their participation in organizing the pogroms, in particular, in the destruction of the NBP office in Moscow. The deputy believes that the creation of detachments of "Orthodox stormtroopers" is a serious threat to the constitutional order and leads to "radicalization of society, creating an atmosphere of intolerance and hatred, and, as a result, destabilizing the situation in the country."

“I would like to draw your attention to the information disseminated by the members of the SS Movement themselves that this movement is associated with the Patriarch of the Russian Orthodox Church Kirill (Gundyaev) and is the “personal guard” of the head of the Russian Orthodox Church. An indirect proof of this is the fact that the Forty Sorokov organization celebrated its second anniversary in the Cathedral of Christ the Savior, the central cathedral of the Russian Orthodox Church. In addition, in February 2015, Patriarch Kirill personally congratulated the leader of the Forty Forties movement Kormukhin on his 45th birthday and presented him with an icon of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker. At the same time, in the photo, Kormukhin is dressed in a branded T-shirt of SS activists, - stated in the appeal of the deputy addressed to Alexander Bortnikov.

The deputy asks the head of the FSB to investigate the activities and sources of financing of the Forty Sorokov movement, establish links between the leaders of the movement and the hierarchs of the Russian Orthodox Church, and take measures to liquidate this organization, “which has signs of extremist and neo-Nazi.” Valery Rashkin's request also mentions the Bozhya Volya organization, whose activists recently staged a pogrom at an exhibition in the Manege. The deputy also invites the Russian special services to find out the sources of funding for this organization and its relationship with the leadership of the Moscow Patriarchate.

Dmitry Shevchenko

Last summer, the Supreme Church Council of the Russian Orthodox Church adopted the so-called “Methodological recommendations on the participation of the Russian Orthodox Church in environmental activities”, the authors of which complain that “immoderation, greed, money-grubbing, lack of culture are direct sources of the current difficult environmental situation in the world.” Same summer Patriarch of Moscow and All Rus' Kirill in all its glory lit up on its own Black Sea "cottage", the story of the construction is not even so much a guide to excesses, greed, money-grubbing and lack of culture, but it deserves a couple of dozen volumes of a criminal case. [...]

The environmental Internet magazine Bellona.RU, however, suggested that the church start environmental work not with a prayer service and sweeping the streets, but with disclosing information about the so-called "dacha of the patriarch." For greater persuasiveness, the publication sent a request to the chairman of the synodal information department of the Moscow Patriarchate of the Russian Orthodox Church, Vladimir Legoyda.

“The Patriarch’s Dacha” is a textbook example of how the state took and simply evaporated on a single piece of Russia (the entire “dacha history” has been collected, but there is a brief chronology): prosecutors have evaporated, the police have evaporated, Rosprirodnadzor has abstained from performing their duties, all the locals have disappeared authorities. Following them, hundreds of Red Book Pitsunda pines disappeared, in the place of which a nauseating-looking monolithic concrete structure grew up, a sort of variation of the Moscow tower of the era of Ivan the Terrible.

The history of this architectural splendor began in 2004 with this letter to the governor Tkachev:

As you can see, being a patriarch (at that time still Alexy II), you can quite easily give instructions to any governor: you are there, they say, move quickly with the registration of the land and the start of construction on the public coast with relic pines. And here, in the meantime, we will begin to invent the church's "environmental doctrine."

The construction of the “dacha” was accompanied by outrageous lies both from the Russian Orthodox Church itself and from government agencies. It was said either about a "hotel for pilgrims", or about a "spiritual and cultural center", or in general about some purely resort facility, almost a brothel. But we must pay tribute to the late Alexy - he did not particularly shine at his scandalous "dacha".

Unlike, however, his successor. Mr. Gundyaev not only does not hesitate to have a nice rest in Divnomorskoye, but, as local residents say, he does not even hesitate to use the FSB coast guard for protection during swimming and boat trips.

The other day I was sent a curious photo essay about how a person who looks like Patriarch Kirill famously steers the yacht Azimut (this is the name of the Italian shipyard, which occupies one of the leading places in the world in the construction of exclusive motor yachts) in the sea between the villages of Dzhankhot and Divnomorskoye, in a place called the Blue Abyss. The photo was taken about a month ago by one of the guests. By a happy coincidence, for some reason, the border guards did not protect the patriarchal peace that day and did not disperse the excursion boats.

Another picture shows how a certain gray-haired old man-millionaire (probably, only by some misunderstanding resembling Mr. Gundyaev) is hooked to a cable, obviously intending to be dipped into the water.

I wonder who these people are in abundance on the Azimut yacht, except for a man who looks like a patriarch? Upon closer examination of the top photo, it begins to seem that the profile of a man in white sitting next to the taxiing "patriarch" resembles Vladimir Legoyd - the same Legoyd who has not yet responded to Bellona.RU's request (although, of course, it could be and not him, but some other church figure - with a strong increase in the image it is difficult to make out).

And criminal cases regarding blocking the coast with a blank fence, felling Pitsunda pines, regarding the failure of foresters and environmental inspectors to fulfill their direct duties, and so on and so forth, will take even longer.
