And few people realize that a place called Kudykina Gora really exists, where do you think? It turns out that in the Moscow region, Orekhovo-Zuevsky district, there is such a village called "Kudykina Gora".

Kudykina Gora is two villages at once - Kudykino and Gora, however, located very close to each other.

Kudykino - the name of the village comes fromfrom the word "Where". According to one version, it is believed that peasants came to the land of the village. When they met the local people, they asked “Where, where are you going?”. So they called the village Kudykino.

Many have heard the expression Kudykina mountain» , but few people know that such a mountain really exists!

At the end of August, the whole family went in search of Kudykina Gora. I must say right away that the path there was not easy. The location of Kudykina Gora more than justifies its name. On the Internet, I printed out the route from Voronezh to Kudykina Gora, but it turned out to be incorrect due to the fact that the bridge across the Don River was closed for repairs.

A little upset, we began to ask the residents of the city of Zadonsk, Lipetsk region: "How to get to Kudykina Gora?" A couple of hours of wandering and we finally got to the right place.

Once on Kudykina Gora, we immediately forgot about the difficult trip, as we opened up a charming view of the old wooden fortress, blue Lake and vast expanses of green grass.

City of Masters on Kudykina Gora

When we saw the wooden fortress, we immediately wanted to visit it. It turned out that a whole City of Masters was hidden behind the fortress.

A real potter worked here, who, in front of the astonished tourists, made clay pots by rotating the potter's wheel.

Kudykina mountain

In the City of Masters, you can mint a commemorative coin with the image of Kudykina Mountain. Children and women cannot cope with such work on their own; adult men must help them. Indeed, in order to forge a coin, remarkable strength is needed.

Needlewomen of the city of Masters offer amulet dolls and beautiful jewelry, needlewomen sell horseshoes for good luck.

In the city of Masters there is also a real blacksmith who blows the fire and makes the most beautiful iron roses.

Kudykina mountain

Our little daughter really enjoyed climbing the steps of the wooden fortress and looking out the window.

Kudykina mountain

Men in the city of craftsmen were most interested in real bronze bells, which sound very melodious.

After walking around the city of masters and buying memorable souvenirs, we went to the animals.

On Kudykina mountain there is a wonderful safari park in which animals roam freely. There are more than 30 species of animals in the park. There are pets and there are exotic ones. Although, for many urban children, they are also exotic.

From the age of 12 you can ride a camel (150 rubles).

Our three-year-old daughter enjoyed riding a donkey and a pony. And I'm on a camel.

My daughter also wanted to ride a camel, but children under the age of 12 are not allowed to ride a camel, even if their mother rides a camel.

Children's playground on Kudykina Gora

On Kudykina Gora there is a wonderful playground with a ship, a castle, swings and slides. On the site - the cleanest White sand Therefore, adults and children are allowed there only without shoes. It was cool outside and we did not dare to take off our shoes, although more daring parents with children enjoyed playing on the playground.

In addition to the playground, there are several trampolines on Kudykina Gora, but we passed by. You won’t surprise us with trampolines, animals attract a daughter much more.

Illusion show on Kudykina Gora

We were very lucky: on the eve of Kudykina Gora, a tent was pitched for arranging an illusion show with the participation of trained animals.

The Panarinas surprised the children by turning domestic chickens into peacocks, releasing doves from their hands and collecting coins from the air.

The show, like almost everything on Kudykina Gora, was free.

Theatrical performances are also held on Kudykina Gora.

Nature on Kudykina Gora and holy springs

Nature on Kudykina Gora is stunningly beautiful: mountains, the Don River, an artificial lake, and lots and lots of greenery.

Around the lake on Kudykina Gora, you can play and sunbathe on the white sand. In the lake, the water is so clear that fish can be clearly seen through it: both small and large.

On Kudykina Gora there are two springs in which those who wish can plunge. The first source is very original. On its top stands a Trojan horse and a goby, and water flows from a large jug. Nearby there is a spring with the purest water.

On Kudykina Gora, we did not plunge into the source, but went to to the holy spring of Tikhon of Zadonsk, which is nearby.

The font there is landscaped and is located indoors. The water in the source is the same temperature all year round +4°C, but there are a lot of people who want to take a dip. We stood in line for almost an hour, but the sensations after swimming in the source are worth it.

Even longer queue for holy water from the spring - we stood there for 2.5 hours. True, we got to a big holiday that was celebrated in the monastery - 225 years since the death of Tikhon of Zadonsk.

IN weekdays there are fewer pilgrims.

We were on Kudykina Gora for 5 hours, but neither adults nor children wanted to leave. Next year we will return to Kudykina Gora with a tent to live in such a beautiful place for several days.

When the post was already ready, I looked up information about Kudykina Gora on the Internet. Turns out Kudykina mountain there is also in the Moscow region, but there is no children's park there. If you have children, please bring them to Kudykin mountain in a safari park in the Lipetsk region .

Many of you know from childhood that sometimes the question: “Where are you going?” you can get a joking answer: “To Kudykina Gora!”. After that, it becomes clear to you that you do not understand anything, since the person does not want to say about his intentions. Thus, a person involuntarily comes to the conclusion that something significant and at the same time something shameful for a modern person is connected with the object "Kudykina Gora".

The generally accepted "folk" version suggests that this phraseological unit was used mainly when it was impossible to say in plain text "I won't tell you where." So, for example, asking a hunter where he goes hunting was forbidden. According to legend, it was impossible to reveal their hunting places, otherwise there would be no luck. The proverb “do not cackle, there will be no happiness” is connected with this. The belief itself is also associated with the consonance of the word "where" with the words "where" ( evil spirit), "cook" (conjure).

If we talk about the time of origin of this expression, then it goes back centuries, which gives a clue to shyness: many of our ancient traditions, orders during the period of the spread of Christianity acquired a negative connotation.

In the pre-Christian period, many of our compatriots had a fairly high degree of understanding of the world, not to mention literacy. On the basis of the most powerful Vedic knowledge, people for the most part freely controlled their destiny, since the power of the spirit and the integrity of the worldview and worldview gave them the opportunity to quickly and easily solve their problems themselves. They could only praise the Creator and the Ancestors for the abilities bestowed upon them. The religious schisms that began brought confusion into the minds of people and led to the fact that people appeared with an unstable psyche, a weak will, fueled by the ideology of humility.

Such people had to seek help from the elders of the clans, sorcerers or magicians, who performed their rituals at temples.

As you know, temples and other sacred places our Ancestors were in the forest or on a hill (mountain). This mountain could also be artificial (it could be piled up - poured), but all the same, the element of elevation (approach) to the Heavenly Father always took place. Our grandfathers in ancient times already understood that everything around was created to help a person, therefore, according to the principle of direct and feedback man himself had to take care of the world around him. A self-confident person came to the elevation (hence - elevated feelings) to thank, and an unsure person went to ask for help with determining the path (where to go?). Having ascended the hill, they loudly expressed their desire, which was surely fulfilled.

In many elevated places (oracles), they began to build single-domed buildings with a rounded roof, in which Kuda messengers (Magicians) settled, who could help a person gain confidence and, with their powerful spirit, could help their weakened fellow tribesmen in solving their pressing issues.

It has long been believed that a man was originally called to have a powerful spirit, so that without harm to his health he could pass on to his offspring the images of the Spirit and Blood, instill in his children the Spirit of his Family. For the same reason, a man could not publicly sign his impotence and reveal his uncertainty even to his relatives. Such people secretly used the services of Kudykina Gora so as not to lose their authority. At present, many people no longer remember the true meaning of this mountain, but unconsciously they can answer the question "Where?" according to ancestral memory.

In some festive rituals that have come down to our times from time immemorial, there is an element of throwing objects over the shoulder to determine where the betrothed will appear, etc. This ritual in the old days was called "Kudy kinu" and was used in many divination (guessing). It is possible that similar elements of divination were also present on Kudykina Gora.

You can consider Kudykina Gora as a mythical place where everyone who came could get answers to their questions. And you can turn to the annals and find that in 1637 there was a Kudykinskaya volost, the center of which was the village of Kudykino. Later it became part of the Orekhovo-Zuevsky district. And now a place called Kudykina Gora really exists in the Orekhovo-Zuevsky district of the Moscow region and represents two villages at once - Kudykino and Gora, however, located very close to each other. And now tourists like to drop in there: it’s too interesting for them to look at the place where so many people have been going for a long time ...

Where are you going?

To steal tomatoes for Kudykina Gora! ..

Such a dialogue could be heard in the old days, and even today it has not lost its relevance. All children are famous for their curiosity, so they are never satisfied with such an answer, they want to get to the bottom of it, so many related questions arise: “Where is Kudykina Gora?”, “Why do you need tomatoes?”, “And who are they there (behind Kudykina mountain) planted, are there many of them there? And so on and so forth. What this dialogue means, we will analyze at the end of our article. And now let's move to the Lipetsk region, where a children's park- Kudykina Gora. Let's see what kind of place this is and why it is interesting.

Kudykina Gora: how to get there

The Lipetsk region is located 400 kilometers from the capital. The location of the park in Google Earth coordinates is 52.367494,38.766142. You can get here from Moscow along the M4 highway, passing the village of Voronovo, but not reaching Zadonsk. There will be a turn to the right in the direction of Kamenka and Alekseevka. Then we drive until we see the sign "Kudykina Gora". The Lipetsk region greets us with many signposts to this cultural site, so you won't get lost. Near the park there is a parking lot, the entrance to it is also marked. There are a lot of places on the site - enough for everyone.

Working mode

Children's park "Kudykina Gora" (Lipetsk region) is open on all weekdays and holidays, except Monday. It opens at 10 am and closes at 8 pm. Entrance to the site is free. During the rainy season, the park is closed, so before leaving, it is better to check the weather by phone - the park administrator will answer all your questions (8-960-140-50-00). Calls are accepted on weekdays strictly from 10.00 to 17.00.

How the park works: Scythian fortress

This is a huge area among meadows and fields. On a high hill there is a huge wooden structure, not the Kremlin, not the fortress. This is the first thing that catches the eye from the road passing under the sign "Kudykina Gora". The Lipetsk region has a rich history. According to archaeologists, the Sarmatians lived here since ancient times, before the arrival of the Mongol-Tatars, there were many ancient cities here. Maybe that is why the organizers of the park built this object here. It is called the Scythian fortress. Inside this building on weekends and holidays, fairs of craftsmen are held, the entrance there costs 50 rubles. Various crafts of Rus' are presented here, in each shop you can see and even try to make some kind of trinket yourself, for example, to mold a clay pot. In addition, you can buy souvenirs. On weekdays there is no one here, but the children have freedom and space, they can run around, climb the stairs to the fortress walls, and so on. You can tell the guys that we used to build mainly wooden houses, however, they often burned, so now all structures are made of concrete and glass. “Kudykina Gora, Lipetsk region, 2014” - such a photo in your family album, especially if it is taken against the backdrop of the Scythian fortress, will take pride of place and in a few years will evoke wonderful memories of an interesting vacation.

Lake

Closer to the parking lot, if you do not reach the fortress, is located. This is a very decent size water body with wide sandy beaches and sandy bottom, the water in it is clean. There are always a lot of children on the beach, who splash in the water with screams and run on the sand. For adults, the lake will be small, but for the kids just right. In fact, swimming is prohibited here, since there are no changing cabins and lifeguards, this is stated on special signs installed by the administration of the Kudykina Gora park. The Lipetsk region is characterized by a very hot summer, as a result of which no prohibitions can stop the kids. And on the beach of the lake is always a full house.

Water purity and coastal zone evoke deep respect for the administration of this cultural site. Every Sunday at 13.00, an animated performance is played on the lake - a water battle. A very exciting sight! Here is such a park "Kudykina Gora" (Lipetsk region). The photos presented in the article clearly demonstrate the sights of this object.

Playground

To the left of the parking lot is a playground. Its size is impressive - it is a huge pile of different elements: turrets, climbing frames, slides, rope motes, spiral pipes, swings and other things. Entrance to this area is possible only barefoot, shoes are left at the entrance. As a coating - fine sand. Most likely, your child will never forget that he was on the playground in the park "Kudykina Gora" (Lipetsk region). Visitors' comments about this building boil down to the fact that they have never seen such a huge object. Similar playgrounds can be found in the resorts of Malaysia, and in our country it has no equal.

Paddock "Safari"

Past the playground, a path leads to a huge paddock. Ostriches, camels, rams, yaks, etc. are kept here. Animals approach the fences, allow themselves to be fed and stroked. On the territory of the "safari" you can ride on a cart drawn by a horse. Those who wish are offered rides on ponies, donkeys, horses and camels. On the lawn, outside the fence, goats graze. All children consider it their duty to shove at least a little cabbage into them, so that these animals are more like piglets. Further along the path there is a spring, ducks and other birds swim here, there is also a bathing place for people. For those who are not too interested in animals, there are also trampolines, however, the queue for them is longer than for ponies.

Other

At the entrance to the park they sell kvass on tap, ice cream, there is one cafe where you can relax and have a snack. At the entrance there is a hut - this book Shop. Bringing animals to the park is prohibited. In addition, smoking is strictly prohibited on the premises. At the request of the client, here you can organize a birthday party for your child with an animated performance. IN winter time Here you can go downhill on sleds, skis and snowboards. The disadvantages include the fact that there is little shade in the park, on a sunny day you can easily overheat, which, by the way, explains the great popularity of the lake, since there is simply no other way to cool down. There are few toilets here, given the number of visitors.

The advantage is that everything is in one place: the animals, the lake, and the playground. Be sure to visit the park "Kudykina Gora" (Lipetsk region). The photos in this article will help you form your own opinion about it. cultural object. The place is simple, without any frills, unobtrusive, but this is its charm. They don’t sell cotton candy and all sorts of knick-knacks at every step, for example air balloons. Everything is done here in such a way that the children have a rest, and not pump out all the money reserves from their parents. You just enjoy the rustic surroundings and spaciousness. In the city, all playgrounds huddle in a limited space, but here there is scope. When you get here, at first even some feeling of discomfort haunts you, and then you start to enjoy it.

Etymology of phraseological turnover

The expression "on Kudykina Gora" was used earlier and is used now in order to interrupt the questions of too curious passers-by. Its appearance is associated with long-standing traditions and prohibitions (taboos) of our ancestors, who believed that in the domestic expanses there are many spirits and all kinds of wickedness that annoy good people. Therefore, saying out loud where you were going was a bad sign, so you had to laugh it off in this way. In fact, such an answer is a gentle indication to the interlocutor where he should go. Previously, this was enough for an outsider to stop prying into your affairs, now it may not be enough. As they say, you will not have time to show our man "Kuzkin's mother", so he is already interested in "where the crayfish hibernate." The etymology of the word is quite transparent, it comes from the adverb "kudy" ("where").

According to another version, the origin of phraseology is also associated with the ancient beliefs and lifestyle of the Slavs. According to her, the "Kudykiny mountains" are the habitat of the so-called magicians - the Magi. People went to them for advice or help in difficult times.

So where is this notorious mountain?

We have already considered a modern object - Lipetsk ("Kudykina Gora"), however, there are other geographical versions of its location. The first of them: in the Crimea, not far from Feodosia, there was ancient monastery John the Baptist, it was located just on a mountain with such strange name. Near the monastery are the ruins of the Armenian-Kipchak fortress, destroyed in the Middle Ages. The second version is the suburbs. Since ancient times, there have been two villages here, which are called Kudykino and Gora. They are located next door.

But which version is the most correct, it's hard to say, choose for yourself.

We often hear the expression "for Kudykin mountain", but few people probably wondered what kind of mountain and is there she In fact? Kudykina Gora is not fictional, but real existing place.

Kudykina Gora is not fictional, but a real place. These are two villages Kudykino and Gora, which are located in the Orekhovo-Zuevsky district of the Moscow region, near the city of Likino-Dulyovo, which is famous for its porcelain, manufactory and the LiAZ bus factory, there are also several villages in the vicinity: Salkovo, Novaya and Vysokovo.

Story

Kudykina Gora (village Kudykino and Gora) is Beautiful places With rich history that goes back centuries:
The village of Kudykino near the Lyutikhe River was the center of the Kudykino volost of the Pokrovsky district, 26 versts from county town. For the first time, the village of Kudykino is mentioned in the cadastral books of 1637-47, when there were only 6 households in it. Slowly the village grew. In 1705, it had 9 households and 39 male residents, in 1895 - 80 households with general population 460 inhabitants, in 1905 - 83 households and 481 inhabitants, in 1913 - 627 inhabitants. Since 1876, a two-year school of the Ministry of Education operated in Kudykino. In 1925, shortly before the formation of the Orekhovo-Zuevsky district, there were 112 households and 589 inhabitants in the village.
By the beginning of the 20th century, the Kudykinskaya volost, with its center in the village of Kudykino, began to belong to the Orekhovo-Zuevsky district. At that time, the territory of the volost included 14 villages, including: Budkovo, Woodcutters, Yazvischi, Salkovo, the villages of Gora and Kabanovo, as well as the factory villages of Likino and Dulevo. There were almost 1700 households on the territory of the volost, of which over 1340 had cows, and over 1100 also had horses.
According to archival data for 1745, two halves of the Snezhenskaya volost were named: Zabolotskaya and Vozmitskaya, as well as villages related to them. The Voznitsky half included the villages: Budkovo, Yazvitskaya, Kabanovo, Emelyanovo, Starskaya, Ionovo, Oleksino, Kudykino, Gora, Novaya, Salkovo, Vysokovo. After 1778, these villages went to the Pokrovsky district and remained in it until 1917.
Until 1764, the villages that made up the Gorsky parish were part of the patriarchal Snezhskaya volost. After 1764, the patriarchal villages came under the jurisdiction of the state. Until 1864, all the villages of the Gorsky parish were assigned to the Orekhovo temple.
In 1900, in the village of Kudykino, 2,289 people of both sexes were engaged in hand weaving at home, about 1,400 were employed in seasonal work. There was a place to earn money local residents. In 1925, the Dulevo Porcelain Factory (the former partnership of M.S. Kuznetsov), the paper mills of I.K. Eshkov and the Kokunov brothers in Gubino, Likinsky spinning, weaving and dyeing and finishing factories (former A.V. Smirnova). Salkovsky and Dergalevsky brick factories, mills and bakeries also worked. Yemelyanov had its own forge.
But where did the saying “Where are you going? – to Kudykina Gora, to steal tomatoes”? Most likely, it appeared like this: the village of Kudykino was the center of the Kudykino volost, which included the villages: Kudykino, Gora, Budkovo, Yazvitskaya, Kabanovo, Emelyanovo, Starskaya, Ionovo, Oleksino, Novaya, Salkovo, Vysokovo, as well as the factory villages of Likino and Dulevo. Many villages had their own factories. Accordingly, people, merchants went to the volost and its center Kudykino for goods, and since Kudykino and Gora are two villages of neighboring villages, to the question “Where are you going”, they answered “to Kudykina Gora”. “Stealing tomatoes” is just a rhyme for a saying and nothing more. Now this question is widespread far beyond the Kudykinsky volost and people do not even suspect that such a place actually exists.
Kudykina Gora and surroundings.

Kudykino - the name of the village comes from the word "Kudy". According to one version, it is believed that fugitive peasants came to the land of the village. When they met the local people, they asked “Where, where are you going?”. Having cut down the huts on dry, comfortable lands, they called the village Kudykino.
Modern Kudykino, unlike other villages (Gora, Novaya, Vysokovo, Salkovo), is developing faster, now there are fewer and fewer old wooden houses, and more and more cottages. There is more than one street in Kudykino, it has its own store (it was recently rebuilt), there is a monument to the fallen fellow countrymen in the Great Patriotic War, which is the only attraction, it is municipal property and is a protected object cultural heritage.
Gora village (in the old administrative division village, since there is a church and a school there), is the center of the Gorsky rural district. The name of the village speaks for itself, though there is no real mountain The village is located on fairly high hills. The village is located on the right bank of the Lyutikha river. The attraction of the village of Gora is the Church of the Nativity Holy Mother of God 1877-86, earlier there was a club and a library in the village, today there is a Primary School which is located next to the temple. Nowadays, the village practically does not differ from others: there is gas and a telephone, the road is paved and there are even signs. The signs in the village were installed due to the fact that during the summer period a large number of machines. At 1.3 km from the village there is a lake Quarry (Golden Sands), which attracts tourists from Likino-Dulyovo and Orekhovo-Zuyevo.

But there is another Kudykina mountain

Children's safari park "Kudykina Gora" in the Lipetsk region

Lipetsk safari park "Kudykina Gora" is located in the picturesque hilly surroundings of the village of Kamenka, Zadonsky district, on the steep bank of the Don.
Already from the road, a landscape of stunning beauty opens up to the gaze of the traveler - wooded hills, the Kamenka River, neat churches and village houses. Approaching the park, the traveler sees the huge figures of the Trojan horse and the Bull, proudly standing near the road above the ravine. They even have doors so you can get inside.
Nearby, on the slope, is being built stone structure- perhaps these are the walls of "Troy"? Recently planted here Orchard, it will take quite a few years, and it will become another attraction of these places.
Immediately at the entrance, visitors are greeted by amazing fairy-tale characters, near which tourists love to take pictures so much.
They surround a bright and noisy children's playground, which is always filled with frolicking children, and adults are not averse to running with the kids along its snow-white sand. Here, everyone - from small to large, has to change shoes.
The playground is just huge, it's a real children's town. There is also big castle, surrounded by a "fortified wall" with turrets, and huge ship, in its hold you can play hide and seek, there is a train, and a trampoline, and a bungee, and a wide variety of swings, carousels and rocking chairs.
Not far from the children's town, families have picnics. Nevertheless, the entire territory is very clean - unusually clean for our man. Pleased with the presence of a sufficient number of toilets. Passing through the sparkling fabulous helmet-arch along the covered white sand embankment and climbing the hill, you can see Ilya Muromets sitting near a huge stone, Nightingale the Robber himself sits on his outstretched hand!
From here you can see the general panorama of the park and the majestic Don. In the distance, behind the back of the epic hero one can see an ancient barrow. Here, according to the preserved ancient drawings, the Scythian log fortress of the Scythians was reconstructed. Going down to the foot of the hill, the visitor can drink spring water that flows from a huge (the size of a house!) Jug and even take a dip.
There is a small pond in the park. sandy shore and bottom, and also a rather impressive wooden fortress. Living creatures roam behind a wooden fence - chickens, horses, ducks, turkeys and cows, which are especially loved by city kids who know about them only from pictures in children's books.
And what can we say about the delight with which children (and adults too!) Watch ostriches, a family of roe deer or deer? By the way, the entrance to the territory of the safari park is free. You already have to pay for riding (20 minutes) on its territory in a wagon - 100 rubles for a child under 12 years old and 200 rubles for an adult.
In a special paddock there is a donkey, a pony, and even a camel, on which the kids ride with pleasure, the cost of such a service is low - 50 rubles. Excursions are organized for children's groups - they will show and tell about the inhabitants of the park - from rabbits to wild boars.
