Trip to Disneyland Paris in winter. Let's spend our holidays at Disneyland. You can order a children's birthday

Since childhood, I dreamed of going to Disneyland. Even when I watched Disney cartoons on TV, and before them they usually showed parades at Disneyland. At that time, I thought it was impossible to get there. It was an impossible dream. When I started living in Paris, I thought that going to Disneyland was expensive and time consuming. Everything turned out a little different than I imagined.

It really took a long time to get there: we took the RER train for almost an hour before we got there. It's good that the entrance to Disneyland itself is not far from the station. My friend and I went there in April, but there were still a lot of tourists. We stood in line at the box office for about an hour, but we got in pretty quickly.

When you find yourself on the territory of Disneyland, it seems as if you are entering a completely different world. Beautiful and fabulous, where childhood always reigns. Even an adult begins to feel like a child here. Eyes literally run up from the number of different attractions, entertainment and cafes. We even got confused when we entered, but then we pulled ourselves together and went to explore the park.

What you need to know before leaving

Know that besides you there are a lot of people who want to visit the famous park. In the summer and during the holidays there are whole crowds of people and adults. Therefore, it is better to come in the spring, at the end of March - beginning of April, or at the end of September - beginning of October. It is still warm in Paris, but there are not so many tourists. This is the best time to visit many attractions.

You need to arrive early in the morning. We boarded the RER at 7am and drove for an hour. Then we spent another hour waiting in line. As a result, the park itself entered only at 9 am. Arriving early is important not only because there is a long line at the entrance, but also because the park is very large. If you are limited in time and want to see as much as possible, then you should arrive early.

Everything in the park is very expensive. A snack in some cafe with a couple of buns with coffee will cost 30-50 EUR. We took sandwiches and water bottles with us. You can bring food inside. It's much cheaper. We sat down on a bench when we got hungry, ate our sandwiches and moved on.

By the way, this also applies to souvenirs. A small headband with Mickey Mouse costs 10 EUR. I didn't buy anything there. In principle, in Paris, all this can be found and not at such cosmic prices.

Wear comfortable shoes - sneakers or sandals. High-heeled sandals or shoes are best set aside for a more appropriate occasion. After 7 hours in the park, my feet just fell off, although I put on the simplest sandals. I don't know what would happen to my legs if I was in heels.

It is better to take a small bag or backpack with you. Something that fits well on the arm or shoulders. It should close well with a zipper. There are attractions - roller coasters, for example, where you will be shaken and turned upside down. There will be nowhere to leave things: there are no lockers or a wardrobe nearby. We didn't know about it. When we went on such an attraction, we had to fasten the bag to the leg by the straps so that it would not fly away somewhere.

For the same reason, it is best to wear jeans or some kind of trousers, as the skirt easily rides up on roller coasters or similar rides.

At the entrance, take a map of the park (there is also in Russian), so you can immediately outline the places you want to visit. It's impossible to see everything in one day. The park is too big. It is better to immediately determine what interests you. For especially popular attractions, you can buy tickets in advance with a designation of the time when you need to come there. During breaks, it is nice to walk in the park or visit something less popular.

What is the park itself

Disneyland itself consists of two parks: an amusement park and the Walt Disney Studios, where they show how cartoons are filmed, the filming process, etc.

The first is the largest, it is divided into separate sectors: by cartoons or their heroes. For example, there is a sector dedicated to Aladdin, Alice in Wonderland, Scary House or House of Horrors with a Hill, there is also a Pirate Ship.

A complete and interactive map is best viewed on the official Disneyland website. It also shows where hotels, restaurants, cafes, etc. are located.

We managed to visit only the first of them - the Amusement Park, but that was enough for me to remember the trip for a lifetime.

entrance to the park

First, you pass the first fence, where there is a guard. Bags are checked there, and visitors can be examined if they seem suspicious. Next, you need to queue up for tickets. I will discuss the rates in more detail below. It is no longer necessary to pay inside for attractions, their cost is already included in the price of a single ticket to visit.

Amusement park

After receiving the tickets, you enter the park. Along the wide street you will get to the famous Disney castle. It is very difficult to take pictures there. My friend spent over an hour to take a good photo. There are two roads from the castle: one leads to the sector about Aladdin, the Scary House, the Pirate Ship, and the other to the futuristic part - spaceships, etc.

We went through the Aladdin sector, Texas, to the Creepy House on the Hill. They collected the most terrible characters and things from different fairy tales: a magic ball, talking skeletons, etc.

There are a couple of Mickey Mouse houses in the park. Actors in Mickey costumes are sitting there, they are signing autographs. We did not go there, because the queue was too long, and we did not want to waste time on it.

After that we went to Alice's maze in Wonderland. This is a real maze! Therefore, children must be kept close so as not to lose them. I liked it there very much. Card figures and other characters from your favorite fairy tale are everywhere.

After going through the whole labyrinth, you will go to the castle of the Red Queen. Nearby is the Crazy Tea Party. There is a place with huge cups and seats with a Mad Hatter hat. You can take pictures there... but again... guess what? That's right, standing in a huge queue.

We went to the Robinson Crusoe Hut, it is located on several floors, on a tree. We rode in the train trailers from the Wild West, also so-so - for children.

Coming out to the square to the castle, we got to one of the famous parades that take place in Disneyland. As we were told, they take place almost every day at a certain time. On special holidays - Halloween or Christmas - magnificent and luxurious parades are held. Cars with Mickey and Mini Mouse, Donald and Daisy Duck are passing by, actors are dancing and singing. This spectacle must be seen with your own eyes!

My friend started taking pictures with the castle, and I went to explore the inside of the Disneyland castle. Inside, at the bottom is a dungeon with dragons, and at the top - the chambers of the Sleeping Beauty.

We managed to ride one more attraction, spaceships - also an analogue of roller coasters. It was great, but very scary! Twisted and spun us still how! The funny thing is that they take pictures during the attraction. It's fun to look at the exit.

We did not have time to go anywhere else, as we were limited in time.

Ticket price

You can buy tickets at the box office at the entrance or via the Internet, on the Disneyland website.

The price of tickets depends on which parks you intend to visit. All fares are listed. Children under 3 years of age enter free of charge. Adults and children from 12 years old have their own tariffs, and children from 3 to 11 have their own, others. There is a ticket option along with transport from Paris.

During the holidays - Christmas or Halloween - prices will be different.

How to get from Paris to Disneyland

We went there by train, but you can also use a bus or a car.

By train

To do this, you need to choose the train line RER A (this is a red branch). You need to go along the A4 line (it branches off from the main line), to the final station Marne-La-Vallée.

You need to buy a ticket separately to this station. If you are not familiar with the complex system of the Paris metro and the RER, it is better to buy a ticket at the box office, not from a machine. It cost me about 14 EUR.

You can take the RER A at all major metro stations: Charles de Gaulle, Auber, Chatelet-Les Halles, Nation, Gare de Lyon. Check that the stop where you get off indicates that the final stop is Marne-La-Vallée. If this name is in a yellow rectangle, then this means that the train will stop there. If not, then no.

The train runs from 05:22 to 00:39, with an interval of 15 minutes. It goes with stops at other stations. We drove for about an hour.

By bus

These are special express trains that run from 5 metro stations in Paris - Madeleine, Gare du Nord, Montparnasse, Opéra, Chatelet. A ticket is bought along with the entrance to Disneyland - 93 EUR for adults and 88 EUR for children from 3 to 11 years old. This can be done at the bus stop or the Disneyland site.

By car

Finally

Before visiting Disneyland, prepare well and arrive early, regardless of the season. Get your tickets for popular rides right away so you can enjoy the park without wasting time in lines. And plunge into the magical fairy tale of Disneyland!

New Year and Christmas in a Parisian amusement park is an immersion in a fairy-tale world that lives for the holiday and gives it to others. By visiting the park, you can meet your favorite heroes, ride the rides, and, of course, take part in the famous parade along main street Walt Disney countries.

Disneyland Paris in the period from November to March operates on almost the same schedule as in the summer. Most attractions are located in enclosed spaces so that you and your children will not suffer from bad weather. And winter gives a special charm to visiting the amusement park.

I would like to note that a holiday in Disneyland Paris in winter will please you with fairly mild weather, the temperature during the day is around +6 - +8 degrees Celsius, and in the evening it drops to +3 - +4 degrees. It is rare when frosts reach -10 C. The Parisian winter in terms of climate is quite comparable to the Russian spring. So walk on fresh air will not cause any emotions, except for positive ones.

All 5 theme parks will be available for viewing. You should not be afraid if Disneyland is open in winter, as it never closes.

The residence of Santa Claus (Father Frost, Pere Noel) is a small magical village that appears in the park at the end of December and lasts for almost three months. There, your children will be able to communicate with Santa, see his helpers, and, of course, receive gifts, as they say, “first hand”. You will see how the elves are preparing for Christmas, and you can even help them. How to find Santa's house? It is located in the very center of Disneyland, you definitely won’t pass by it!

New Year's Eve at Disneyland Paris is celebrated with a big fairytale parade. On it you will meet both the permanent participants in the procession of Mickey and Minnie (dressed in New Year's costumes), and the new heroes of the wonderful world of Walt Disney. The parade is led, of course, by Santa Claus. A kind wizard follows the streets of the amusement park and turns the surrounding reality into a real fairy tale. You will definitely not forget such a sight. The parade is famous for its pyrotechnics and lighting effects.

A festive light and music show runs from late December to early January. Laser beams are projected onto the Princess's palace, while Disney cartoon characters dance to enchanting music. Each spectator will remember this ball for a long time and remains one of the most vivid impressions from visiting the winter Disneyland in Paris. But the famous Wishes fireworks show, which is held in honor of the closing of the park for the night, is not held in winter. But this should not make you sad - it will be a great reason to visit the amusement park in the warm season.

And, of course, Disneyland Paris in winter, according to reviews seasoned tourists, is famous for the absence of queues and significant discounts, which you can learn more about both on the official website of the amusement park and from our specialists.

The New Year holidays are a great occasion to visit Paris and visit one of the most famous amusement and amusement parks in Europe.

  • And I will tell you in which HOTELS (in the territory of the Disney park or nearby) you can stay

In short, the article will be very large and interesting.)) And on the eve of the Christmas holidays, it will also be useful. After all, celebrating the New Year with a trip to Paris and Disneyland is a great idea.

And for a good idea - my timely material and useful tips from personal experience.

So ... let's talk about everything in order ... And let's start with tickets.

Tickets to Disneyland - where to buy.

How to save money.

BUY in advance - before leaving for Paris.

METHOD FIRST - through a travel agency.

That is, you contact a travel agency and buy any tours and trips to Disneyland Paris. You can buy a tour to Paris with a tour of Disneyland included in it.

I don't like this way- because you have to pay for the ticket itself + the services of the tour operator. But before, for lack of another option, I bought tickets to Disneyland that way.

But now I'm wiser ... I'm more savvy, and I know another way to buy a ticket to Disneyland Park for a cheap price.

METHOD SECOND - buy a ticket online - with a 10% -15% discount

Anyone who wants to buy a ticket for 10% -15% more profitable in this way - write to me by e-mail [email protected] .

In addition, along with a cheap ticket to Disneyland, you can profitably (also online) buy tourist cardin Paris Paris Pass and pay 10-15% euros cheaper than if you buy this card already in Paris itself. And you still have to buy if you want to walk around Paris without straining about travel vouchers.

Write to the mail - and I will give detailed instructions, and help you do it just quickly.

MORE THAN - if such a discount of 10% -15% seems suspicious to you(there are a lot of scammers on the Internet now, and your fear is understandable) ... then for you there is an option, payment of the ticket upon receipt, directly at Disneyland. Our staff will take you straight to the park and hand over the tickets in your name.

That is, you get a ticket - indicate that you undertake to pay for it, go to Disneyland Paris, walk for your own pleasure ... and transfer the payment to us upon return.

METHOD THREE - On the official website of Disneyland - www.disneylandparis.com

On the site, you will have to pay in advance the full cost of the ticket, and indicate your passport data and your Paris address in the application (yes, there is such a mandatory field). Only you, as the holder of the passport with the name indicated on the ticket, can pass on these tickets.

If you have a question, you can call Disneyland Paris

Phone: +33 1 60 30 60 53.
If the call is from Russia, then “+” is replaced by “8 beep 10”, if the call is from Europe, then simply “00”.

This number may come in handy if you suddenly find out on the second day after the park that Yesterday at Disneyland you lost something important to you. All wallets, documents, jackets, bags, etc. found are collected by the Disney Park staff in the evening and carried to the Disneyland administration building. All this they are obliged to keep for several years - in the hope that the owner will apply for the loss. Therefore, do not be shy and look for your things.

Where to buy a ticket to Disneyland - IN PARIS ITSELF ...

If you are already in Paris… you can buy tickets in the French capital.

METHOD 1- You can buy a ticket and in Disneyland itself(at the entrance to the park) if you are not confused by the queues and the price ...

METHOD 2- On Sundays - exactly at 9:15 you come to the steps of the Grand Opera. It is at this time that a direct bus to Disneyland starts from here - there will be a BONUS DISNEY sign on the minibus.

Tickets are sold by the driver himself - the cost of delivery + a ticket to the park will cost you 89 euros, for children 79 euros. To be sure that you have enough space on this flight, it is better to register a reservation by sending a request to e-mail. paris.rtcgmail.com. But this is an expensive way (the price is painfully biting) - suitable for those for whom the cost is not important, but it is necessary to quickly and conveniently.

METHOD 3- ON THE CHAMPS ÉLYSEES.

On champs elysees there is a rather impressive Disney Store - it is very convenient to buy a ticket there - exact address 44 Avenue des Champs Elysees, 75008 Paris

METHOD 4- Fnac stores.

Fnac stores are big shopping malls, which sell books, CDs, equipment, and other household items. Right at the entrance (inside the store) you can find a counter with tickets to many Parisian places - including Disneyland.

Which ticket to take

complex or simple?

What is the difference? The fact is that in Disneyland Paris - there are 2 amusement parks.

  • MAIN PARK (DisneyLand) - family type for children (100 rides, parades, fireworks)
  • DISNEY ULOT PARK (Disney Studio) - Hollywood type park (more adult and more boy attractions, closes earlier, after closing you have the right to go to the main park)

You can buy a simple ticket - giving you entry to ONLY ONE PARK (of your choice)

You can buy a combined ticket - with the right to visit BOTH PARKS at the same time.

FOR HOW MANY DAYS DO I TAKE THE TICKET?

You can buy a ticket for 1 day… Ticket for 2 days… Ticket for 3 days of entertainment.

One day is usually NOT ENOUGH to go around the entire park - therefore, if you are determined to have fun, then it is better to buy at least 2 days at once.

If in doubt, you can buy a ticket for 1 day (online, in advance). And already in Paris decide whether you will go to the park on the second day.

This is what it looks like back side Disney Magnetic Ticket. as you can see on the ticket there is NO EXACT DATE of your visit. Only the ticket validity lines are indicated there (for example, the ticket is valid until October 26 inclusive).

Disneyland tickets are valid for exactly 1 YEAR. That is, you can buy a ticket today - and visit the park on any day during 365 calendar days of the year. That is, it doesn’t matter when you plan a trip to Paris…

When is the best time to go to Disneyland Paris?

DEFINITELY worth coming for Christmas in the New Year holidays… The kids are on vacation and so are the adults. A convenient time to get all 333 attractions from this Disney park. Disneyland is open seven days a week - all the winter months of December, January, February. Buying tickets to Disneyland in winter is a great way to decorate the harsh snowy everyday life with a real fairy tale.

Summer at Disneyland- everything is lush green, fragrant and warm - in summer, Disneyland looks like a green fairy tale. And everything is perceived differently than in winter - everything looks different in the warm glow of the summer sun.

How to get to Disneyland

LAND METRO RER(type of electric train) will take you to Disneyland very quickly - you will need to take a seat on the red line… in the direction of the station – Marne-la-Vallee(full name Marne-la-Vallee / Chessy - Parcs Disneyland)

It is convenient to get on the red line (transfer) at the following metro stations:

  • Chatelet Les Halles (next to Les Halles Park and Pompidou Centre),
  • Gare de Lyon,
  • Charles de Gaulle Etoile (descent into the metro opposite the Arc de Triomphe on the Champs Elysees)

If you're going straight to Disneyland from Charles de Gaulle airport - then you can also sit on RER…. and at the station Chatelet Les Halles change to the red line and go to the station Marne-la-Vallee. (the road takes 1 hour + 20 minutes to go to the train itself). As you can see, this is a long time, because the RER train is a public transport that stops at all small stops (people get off and on) and it takes a very long time. Ticket price 15 euros for adults, 9 euros for children

THEREFORE .. there is a faster way - this is a double-decker train called TGV is a direct high-speed, from the airport and to the center. But it will be more expensive by 2 euros (adult will be 17 euros, children 9 euros)

If you are already staying somewhere in Paris - and you want to know your individual route to Disneyland by metro lines (or bus), then this convenient French service will help you

http://www.ratp.fr/itineraires/en/ratp/recherche-avancee

THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE ABOUT Disney Park…

Baby strollers for rent.

If you have small children - for 8 euros - you can take stroller rental - so as not to carry the baby in your arms. In French, the stroller will be baby carriage (baby cariage) ... The phrase (je bezoin de baby cariage) will be understood by any Frenchman as “I need a baby carriage”

Or you can find a wheelchair rental on the map yourself - it is located in the Main Stream zone - on the right side of this Disney Avenue (in the same place as the ambulance station) - behind the buildings of two restaurants - GibsonGirlIceCreamParlor and restaurant VictoriasHomestyleRestaurant.

On your Disneyland Park map, this location will be marked with a blue box with a white plus sign (health care sign)…

You can buy a raincoat - if it rains - it costs 9 euros. And you can always wait out a little rain in a cozy cafe.

You can order a children's birthday .

Where to look for lost children and forgotten things.

“If you were walking in a hat, and then it disappeared ...” Yes, the author of this poem, Grigory Oster, is right - things are lost ... nimble kids too.

If you have lost a child - and you can’t find it on your own ... Then ... in Disneyland Paris there is special place- where it leads and bring loss. You need a block between the two zones of the park - Main Street and Discoveryland (Discoveryland) - there will be the Plaza Gardens restaurant, next to the First Aid Pavilion - your children will be here. On the map of Disneyland, you can easily find this place.

If you have lost things - then they will most likely be brought to the "Disneyland Lost and Found" - this is the City Hall - to the left of the Disney Main Stream railway station.

Where to store things (so as not to carry with you) - the same town hall has a room with luggage storage where you can leave your bags.

Rules for queuing for rides.

OUT OF QUEUE system was invented for the most visited attractions Fastpass.

That is, the attraction stands special machine(or person-controller) who issues FastPass coupons.

The voucher indicates the TIME (for example, from 13:00 to 13:30) at which you can go to this attraction out of turn. And below is the time when you can take another ticket - for example, at 12:30 you can get the second "FastPass". (that is, unfortunately, you can’t immediately pick up several fast-pass coupons for rides).

"FastPass" was invented so that you do not stand in several lines at once - but only half queues ... and half of the queues could go through the FastPass system.

"FastPass" - it is profitable to take on the longest lines. And short ones to defend on their own.

The machines are always stylized according to the attraction to which they belong. Therefore, do not expect that they will be very noticeable among the thickets and the crowd - look for any box with your eyes and Disneyland may turn out to be such an automaton.

How is the Disneyland amusement park.

MAIN ENTRANCE - DISNEYLAND.

It's hard not to notice - main entrance it looks like a French castle from the reign of Louis - only pink in the style of Madame Pompadour (photo below).

You go around a round flowerbed with Mickey Mouse... go to the main entrance to the Castle - this will be the entrance to Disneyland . At the entrance there are machines that punch your magnetic entrance ticket (like in the subway). And you find yourself in the park - and you can stay in it until the closing time.

ENTRANCE to another park - ULOT DISNEY STUDIO.

If you bought a ticket not to the general Disneyland PARK ... but to its fellow Walt Disney Studios Park… then you need another entrance- it is placed a little further - it looks like this:

DISNEYLAND MAP - is freely available at the entrance to the park. There are examples in Russian (if the tourists didn't understand).

The map is remarkable in that it has a list of all the attractions in Disneyland Paris.

And for your convenience, all these entertaining attractions are divided into 4 groups (and highlighted with special markers-icons)

If you want to take a photo with a certain DISNEY CHARACTER... then the map also shows schedules and places where exactly the “habitat zone” of the cartoon you need is indicated. So it will be convenient for you to find him (if the kid really wants this particular cartoon character).

It's picturesque green country... with wooden buildings ... cobbled streets - with a water bus that runs around the island with red rocks.

Big Thunder Mountain is an attraction of the famous roller coaster stylized as an old mountain railway. Once you land on the island, you can disembark on the uninhabited shore to ride rusty iron wagons on the beat-up mountain railway…

On the streets of the Borderland, you can shoot at a shooting range stylized as a saloon - you will shoot at cacti ( attractionRustler Roundup Shootin' Gallery )

And there's a special Indian village-themed playground (where your little redskins can run around and bawl the war cries of the chiefs.

FOOD in the park.

Fast food restaurants (restaurants like McDonald's) literally at every step - beautiful, stylized as Disney reality. The prices are the same for everyone - the average check is $ 15, so it does not matter which one to choose.

Restaurants- these establishments are already more impressive - the average check is $ 40 to eat per person.

Disney villageDisney village(immediately before the entrance to the park) - also part of the territory, but stylized as a fairy-tale village ... it is quiet and calm there - there are also restaurants. And you can eat without excessive noise and crowds.

By the way, DISNEY VILLAGE is open even after the park has closed - you can eat there, go shopping or relax in one of the many cinemas.

Own food- to Disneyland you can SILENTLY bring food and drinks. Bags are not always checked - sometimes they are very superficially examined. If you have small children, then you should take baby food for them that is familiar to the stomach - kids do not always like food in a restaurant or fast food.

During the winter season, Disneyland Paris does not stop working at all. And even vice versa - it increases the "turns" for the Christmas holidays. Therefore, the best time to travel (including show programs) is December. Holidays in Disneyland are also relevant in January: Russian children have holidays, and you can relax “to the fullest” with the whole family. Another bonus is a sea of special offers for those who want to save money on their winter holidays. How to get to Disneyland Paris, and what is worth seeing? Understanding...

How to Get to Disneyland Paris - Disneyland Self Drive

There are several options:

  • On the train. From the adjacent metro station Opera by train-RER. Electric trains run from there every 10-15 minutes, starting from 6 in the morning until 12 at night. Destination - Marne-la-Vallée Chessy station (on the way - 40 minutes), which goes to the entrance to Disneyland. For the current 2014 trip price is 7.30 euros per adult and 3.65 euros for children under 11 years old. For babies under 4 - free. You can also get to Marne-la-Vallée Chessy from Chatelet-Les Halles, Nation and Gare de Lyon stations. These suburban trains move within the city classically - underground, and outside the city - as ordinary electric trains.
  • Shuttle bus from Orly or Charles de Gaulle airport. Travel time is 45 minutes. These buses run every 45 minutes, and tickets cost about 18 euros per adult and about 15 euros per child. This option is good for those who want to rush to Disneyland right from the airport, or for those who are staying at a hotel nearby.
  • Night bus Noctilien. He leaves for Disneyland at half past one from the Marne-la-Vallée Chessy RER station.
  • Disneyland Paris Express. On this express you can go to Disneyland and back, visiting both parks. Great money and time saver. The express departs from the stations: Opéra, Châtelet and Madlene.
  • On your car (rented). There is only one way - along the A4 highway.
  • Transfer to Disneyland. It can be ordered from your tour operator.

On a note: the most economical option is to buy tickets directly through the Disneyland website.

Ticket prices for Disneyland Paris in winter 2014

coming winter famous park operates as usual - that is, all year round and seven days a week, starting at 10 am. The park usually closes around 7 pm on weekdays, and at 9-10 pm on Saturdays and Sundays. The cost of tickets depends on your plans (you want to visit 1 park or both) and on age. It is worth noting that by purchasing a ticket, you can enjoy any of the attractions of the park without any additional fee, and as many times as you want. Children from the age of 12 are already considered adults, and there is no need to pay for toddlers under 3 years old.

This year you will be asked for tickets to the park (prices are approximate, may change by the time of purchase):

  • 1 park during the day: for children - 59 euros, for an adult - 65.

And if you are traveling with a large company of 2-3 families, then cheaper tickets for several days, which you can use in turn. Not uncommon - promotions from Disneyland, when tickets can be purchased at a lower price. In a word, catch discounts on the park's website.

Where to buy tickets?

  • On the park website. You pay for the ticket directly on the site, and then print it out on a printer. There is no need to stand in line at the box office to exchange this ticket for a traditional one - thanks to the barcode auto-reading system, a printed ticket is enough.
  • Right at the Disneyland box office. Inconvenient and long (long queues).
  • At the Disney store (located on the Champs Elysees).
  • In one of the Fnac stores (they sell books, DVD products and other little things). They are on Ternes Street, near the Grand Opera or on the Champs Elysees.

Buying tickets on the park's website saves you about 20 percent of their cost. Another plus: you can use tickets within 6-12 months from the date of purchase.

Although the fairy-tale world is open all year round, nevertheless best time to visit it - New Year's holidays. It is on these winter days that the whole world embraces the Christmas mood, and the children go on vacation. Therefore, such a trip can be a great solution for a variety of leisure activities during winter evenings. If you do not like long queues for attractions, try to choose the best time for a trip, taking into account the least influx of visitors, we advise you to plan your visit to the Parisian world of fairy tales in late May or early September. During these months, the main visitors of the amusement park - children - "gnaw" the granite of science on the school benches and nothing will stop you from enjoying the rides to the fullest.

How to get there

Since the amusement park is located outside the city at a distance of 40-45 km, the most optimal and affordable option to get there today is the RER train or the TGV double-decker express train. In the first case, tourists are advised to purchase a pass for the red line of the underground metro and proceed to the Marne-la-Vallee station.

To get on the route you need, you need to land at the Charles de Gaulle Etoile station (which is opposite the Arc de Triomphe) or transfer to the red line at the Chatelet Les Halles station. Trains also depart from Auber stations (near the Grand Opera House), Chatelet-Les Halles, Gare de Lyon (Gare de Lyon), as well as from the station on the National Square.

The frequency of cruising is on average 8-10 minutes. By the way, from Charles de Gaulle Airport you will have to transfer at the last metro station mentioned. Such a route, together with a transfer, will take approximately 80-90 minutes, taking into account the walking section. The fare for the RER train is 15 euros for adults and 9 euros for children.

If you want to reduce your travel time, we recommend using the faster alternative express TGV, the ticket for which is 1-2 euros more expensive. You can lay your own version of the route, being in the center of Paris, on your own, having learned the schedule and routes of the buses and metro. An even more convenient and inexpensive way is to use the services of our partner - Kiwitaxi.

Working hours

The park is open all year round without holidays. Although you can enter the territory from 9 am, all attractions start working an hour later. But the closing time varies depending on the season. So, in summer the attractions are available until late at night and the park is preparing for closing closer to midnight. And on autumn and winter days, it stops its work from 20.30 to 22 o'clock at night. On holidays and weekends, the amusement park is open a couple of hours longer than usual, and on winter weekdays it closes even earlier - at 19 or 20 pm.

So that visitors can celebrate the New Year in the circle of cartoon characters, enjoy fireworks and enchanting shows, from December 21 to December 30, the park is open until 22:00 at night, and new year's eve– until 01.00 am! A more favorable work schedule is also presented during the Christmas holidays.

Note! The park includes two thematic zones at once - Walt Disney Studios and Disneyland Park, the schedules of which are somewhat different from each other. This should be taken into account when purchasing a pass. A combined ticket gives its holders advantages - they can move from one zone to another an unlimited number of times.

Ticket prices and how to buy

Although you can find a lot of “helpful” tips on the Internet for buying tickets to a Paris amusement park, we will only talk about the most reliable and proven methods of buying. So, the simplest and most popular today is to buy a pass through the official website of Disneyland. Today, the site presents three types of tickets, which differ not only in their cost, but also have time limits for visiting the amusement park.

The presented types of electronic passes - MINI, MAGIC and SUPER MAGIC - although they provide equal access to attractions for their owners, they still have date restrictions. The most inconvenience can bring to its owners a ticket of the MINI type, which will not give the opportunity to enjoy the world of attractions on weekends and holidays, as well as during New Year and Christmas celebrations. It will not be possible to go to the park during the summer holidays.

But the most expensive type - SUPER MAGIC has no restrictions. The cost of the pass is also affected by whether you want to visit only one of the two parks, or if you want to get access to all the attractions. So, a visit to one park will cost adults from 47 to 75 euros, depending on the type of ticket. At the same time, for young tourists (3-11 years old) the pass will cost from 40 to 67 euros. A visit to both park areas will cost 62-90 euros for tourists over 11 years old, and 55-82 euros for children. Advice. If you are here for the first time, we advise you to buy a complex ticket that will allow you to visit all corners of the park and form full impression about a unique fairy-tale zone.

The advantage of buying tickets through the official website is that you do not have to stand in long lines waiting for your turn. It is enough just to print the ticket on the printer, having previously paid its full cost. If earlier such tickets had to be exchanged for paper ones at the entrance to Disneyland, now this is not necessary. If the desire to visit the amusement park arose spontaneously, and you did not have time to order a ticket through the site, you can go the standard way by buying it at the box office at the entrance, or find it in the Disneyland store located on the Champs Elysees.

attractions

Disneyland Paris is a magical land of entertainment, consisting of Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios. It captivates children with the magic of unique fairy-tale rides and takes adults to the world of childhood. The 5 locations of Disneyland Paris are full of amazing and breathtaking attractions, which you should try to find out about in advance so that you can enjoy your time there.

Let's enter the fairy-tale world through the gates of the beautiful Sleeping Beauty Castle, known to everyone from the screensaver of Disney cartoons, and start an exciting journey.

Adventureland

The Pirates of the Caribbean attraction is very popular in Adventureland, inviting teenagers over 140 cm tall and adults among the scenery of the movie Indiana Jones to embark on Jack Sparrow's wanderings in search of a hidden treasure. The route runs through an intricate labyrinth through the abyss along a hanging bridge and down a winding hill.

Adventure Island is an exciting attraction that captivates you with the search for a sunken pirate ship. The path to the goal will pass along the rocks, past the stormy waterfalls and along mysterious caves. The attraction has no age restrictions and will appeal to the whole family. Pirate Galleon - an attraction in which guests, after going through several adventures, will find themselves on a colorful pirate ship, and then go to the "Pirate Beach", joining in an exciting game.

From the island of adventure, a dangerous smugglers' path will lead to Robinson's hut, hidden in the crown of a tall tree. The attraction "Passage of Aladdin" will take you to the fairy tales of 1001 nights. A walk through the eastern palace, filled with wonders, takes place without age restrictions, delighting children.

Fantasyland

A picturesque corner of a fairy-tale country delights kids with meetings with revived characters of fairy tales and the opportunity to take pictures with them. After visiting the "Sleeping Beauty Castle" with the lair of a fire-breathing dragon, you can head to the labyrinth "White Rabbit Hole". Accompanied by the smile of the Cheshire Cat and the cartoon characters, you will pass through several doors to get a storm of emotions on a carousel of cups belonging to the Hatter from the tale of Alice.

Next, the fairy trail will lead to the funicular to fly Peter Pan from the apartment window into the London sky past Big Ben, meeting mermaids, Indians and pirates on the way. On the attraction "Flying Dumbo", sitting on the back of elephants rotating at different speeds, a wonderful view of the entire park opens up. And what a pleasure it is to ride on the “Rudokop train” to visit Snow White and her industrious gnomes, meeting revived trees and cunning witches on the way!

Boarding the colorful circus Casey Train, children will ride through their favorite cartoons, see Arthur's sword, visit the Little Mermaid Grotto and visit other cartoon characters. Anyone who does not wish to use the train can make an amusing trip in a boat on a small river with dolls singing a cheerful song. And how many more surprises will Fantasyland bring!

Frontierland

The atmosphere of the Wild West will surround you in the border country. In its landscape there are many roller coasters imitating high mountains. Cars of gold miners rush along them, passing hills, caves and slopes. The coolest of these attractions is Big Thunder Mountain, with stylized trolleys rushing around the mine, through dangerous turns and tunnels, ending up underwater for a moment.

To take a breath away from the rides, sit on a wheeled motor ship moored at the pier and sail along the river, admiring the fantastic landscapes. If you want thrills - go to the house of Ghosts, built in the image of the "Adams family" and guarded by two lions. When the doors open for the butlers, go into the hall, where you will hear terrible sounds, and the owners who left the earth will wink from the mirror in the living room. Get even more adrenaline by going down the elevator to the basements of the house.

Even in the border country, shooting from a cowboy colt in the Horse Thieves Shooting Range, a show about Tarzan, a performance of cartoon characters in the Pocahontas Garden Theater and many other attractions are captivating.

Discoveryland

Ideas about the future of a science fiction writer were embodied in the Land of Discovery 19th century Jules Verne. For children over 1.30 meters, the future will open the attraction "Auto Utopia" in the form of fantastic cars racing along the rails at breathtaking speed. For those who are fond of astronomy, welcome to the Indiana Jones slide, in which, under a starry dome, you will rush in a rocket among stars and comets through the labyrinths of space routes, either rising up or falling into the abyss.

On the "Orbitron" even Small child will be able to control the rotation of rockets, while "Space Mountain" will bring a sea of emotions to thrill-seekers. You will have to feel the state of the astronaut in a catapult, taking off sharply into outer space, feeling weightlessness, and then, at a speed of 40 km per hour, make side loops of 360⁰ and enter a tailspin.

No less exciting is "Flight to the Stars", which imitates the plot of the film " star Wars”, performed by 65 passengers on a spaceship in intergalactic space. After space travel, you can take a tour of the compartments of Captain Nemo's Nautilus submarine, see the half-hour show "Legends of the Lion King" in Videopolis.

US main street

The main street of the USA is a copy of the California Disneyland Avenue. This is a colorful walking boulevard with many cafes and souvenir shops, covered on both sides with arcades, which are pedestrian covered alleys. They protect visitors from bad weather and serve as themed galleries. So, in the Liberty Gallery it is interesting to trace the history in photographs and see the details of the construction of the Statue of Liberty, and in the Discovery Gallery - models of inventions made more than 100 years ago.

On the main street of the USA is railroad station, where electric trains from Paris arrive. From here there are routes to the countries of Disneyland: Border, Discovery and Fantasy. Every day, colorful parades take place along the main street of the USA, delighting visitors. With a procession of Disney cartoon characters to the music on the main street of the USA, Disneyland begins at 10.00.

The main Disney Fairytale World parade on platforms illustrating popular cartoons with their characters starts at 17:00 in winter and at 19:00 in summer. At 21.00, fireworks, which we see on the screensavers of Disney films, are colored over the Sleeping Beauty Castle.

Walt Disney Studios Park

In the land of illusions - "Walt Disney Studios" opens an exciting world of cinema and animation, divided into 4 zones. First you get to the Front Lot, which recreates a real Hollywood Boulevard, where you can become a spectator of the filming. At Toon Studio, children will be able to visit the creative workshop and see how cartoons are created. Among the abundance of attractions, the Animamagia show delights, where special effects depict scenes from popular cartoons: The Lion King, The Jungle Book and others.

The attraction of 16 magic carpets flying around the magical lamp of Aladdin and the rally for kids delights. Turtle slides are captivating, serving as guides through the depths of the sea among coral reefs, predatory fish and whirlpools depicted by holograms. The most fearless visitors will be entertained by the Tower of Terror - a mysterious show with mind-blowing lighting and video effects. Take a tour of the Production Countryard film sets on the studio's sightseeing tram, learning the secrets of filming and TV shows.

At the Back Lot, where the stunt and special effects studios are located, you will experience the horrors of Armageddon with meteor showers falling on the orbital station, you will see man-made and natural disasters. On the BackLot site, stuntmen put on an exciting show on motorcycles and cars. End your walk through Walt Disney Studios Park with a thrilling ride down a rock 'n' roll slide to the music of Aerosmith.

Disney Village Park

Disney Village appears as a shopping and entertainment complex, equal in size to 20 football fields. It is surrounded by the Walt Disney Studios on one side and Disneyland Park on the other. Entrance to the realm of entertainment is free, but it is incredibly difficult to resist the temptation not to spend money here.

How to resist the show "The Legend of Buffalo Bill and Friends" with scenes from the life of Indians, cowboys with bulls and bison and serving Texas barbecue? Some will be captivated by flying in a basket of a Panora Magique balloon hovering a hundred meters from the ground, while others will keep their excitement in the huge gaming hall "Nex Game Arcade" with the latest video games.

Disney Village has an abundance of original cafes and restaurants. Even an advanced gourmet will have a hard time choosing between restaurants: in the form of a mid-twentieth century bistro Annette's diner, Bavarian cuisine King Ludwig's Castle, Chicago-style of the last century The Steakhouse and Café Mickey, where visitors are entertained by Disney characters: Mickey Mouse, Goofy and Pluto. Disney Village is full of shops, galleries, boutiques where you can buy clothes, CDs and souvenirs as a keepsake.

How to skip the line

It is easy to guess that during the summer seasons, on weekends and holidays, as well as during the New Year holidays, crowds of adventure lovers, vivid impressions and attractions come to Disneyland. So everywhere you have to stand in long queues. This is especially true of popular entertainment and attractions. As we already mentioned, in order to avoid the queue at the ticket office at the entrance to Disneyland, you can purchase a ticket in advance through the official website, or by finding a company store in the center of Paris. But what about entertainment?

But even in such a seemingly hopeless situation, there is a little trick that we will be happy to share with you. So, in order to avoid waiting in line to experience popular attractions (you can wait from 40 minutes to an hour and a half!), We recommend using the FAST PASS system. To do this, you need to find a special machine, which is very similar to a gaming machine and, as a rule, is located near the entertainment itself.

Next, you need to attach the barcode of the pass printed on the printer to the special window (for those bought at the checkout or in the store - a magnetic tape). In a second, you will be given another ticket, with which you can enter the attraction through the FAST PASS entrance, bypassing the queue.

The only caveat is that you can use this right no earlier than 30 minutes from the moment you receive your ticket and at the strictly allotted time (indicated on the back). Of the "minuses" it is necessary to highlight the fact that not all types of entertainment provide such an opportunity. To ride on some of them, you still have to stand in line.

Which hotel to choose

When choosing a hotel for temporary accommodation, each tourist should proceed from personal preferences and the most cultural and entertainment program that he adheres to. So, if you are going to Paris specifically to visit Disneyland, you can stay at one of the hotels located in the park. In the same case, when your trip is not limited to exploring the amusement park, and you would like to take the time to visit other attractions of Paris - the Louvre, cathedrals, museums, the Eiffel Tower, etc. - we advise you to choose a hotel in the capital.

We think that the journey to the suburb where Disneyland is located will not cause discomfort, which will take no more than 1-1.5 hours and cost only a couple of tens of euros. This option will allow you to combine several cultural programs at once, satisfying the needs of both adults and young tourists. By the way, accommodation in the park is sometimes more expensive than spending a few nights in hotels in the central part of the capital. For example, staying for 3 days, two nights in the cheapest hotel.
