Park Hours

Sokolniki Park is open to the public around the clock from Monday to Sunday inclusive.

Schedule of exhibitions, festivals, skating rink, master classes, etc. depends on the season, they naturally have their own schedule. If you look at the average for the park, then this is from 11 to 19 hours daily. Some facilities may open earlier and close later.

About the most extreme rides, their safety and operation was told by the technical director of the park Ivan Shol.

In addition, 29 attractions for visitors of all ages will be installed there. The most striking and exciting will be the Rolling Mountain in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles zone. This is an analogue of a roller coaster, only ours will be “dark”. Trains at high speed, up to 80 km per hour, will pass through a closed tunnel through several loops with a complete overturn - the highest will be 24 meters, with eight-story building- will make a lot of exciting turns, rises, falls and flips. All the way visitors will be accompanied by a show based on the cartoon "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles".

The "rolling mountain" specially for the "Island of Dreams" is created by the Swiss company Intamin, it is the world's largest manufacturer of big rides. Another difference from other slides is that they will be installed indoors, not outdoors.

The second unique attraction will be the Flying Theatre. In Europe, the first such attraction appeared only last year in Germany. It is built for us by the German company Huss Rides.

Spectators will be seated in comfortable chairs in front of a large concave spherical screen, which will create the effect of three-dimensionality and volume. The chairs will be mounted on a large swivel arm that will raise them to a height of 7 to 20 meters. Special effects - water splashes, wind, smells - will help guests immerse themselves in reality.

The duration of such an attraction in other parks in the world varies from four to 10 minutes. The flight time in our theater is still a secret, the guests will see everything for themselves.

The third unique attraction will be the "Giant Swing", which will be located in a themed area dedicated to dinosaurs, the prehistoric world and fabulous creatures.

They will be placed in the center of a makeshift sanctuary stylized as ruins ancient city South American Indians. Guests will ride over the water jets light and music fountains and streams of artificial fire. An imitation of a flame will be created with the help of special effects.

The swing will be able to lift about 40 people at the same time to a height of up to 20 meters. They will operate in several modes - from calm to extreme, which provides for sharp changes in altitude and fast circular rotation.

This attraction was delivered to us last week. In the summer we will start its installation.

- How will safety be ensured on extreme rides?

Guests are fastened with the most modern fastening: without fixation by the shoulders. Due to this, when passing the dead loop, there will be no pressure on the shoulders. Guests will feel as comfortable as possible.

- Everyone will be able to ride extreme rides?

There will be age and height restrictions. Most of the carousels will be accessible to children with a minimum height of 1.2 meters. It's about 8-9 years old. At the beginning of the boarding queue, guests can check their own height or, on a roller coaster, sit in an exact replica of the attraction chair. When boarding the attraction, operators also check the height of guests. Therefore, parents can not worry that their child will get on adult and extreme rides.

- All attractions- foreign production. Who will install and operate them in the future?

The rides will be serviced by engineers, mechanics and electricians of the park. They will be trained by manufacturers and receive certificates.

In addition, all attractions will be equipped with sensors, the readings from which can be viewed remotely by manufacturers. In the event of a malfunction, they will be able to quickly identify and fix the problem.

- How much will an attraction ticket cost?

The payment system will be the same as in the world large parks- Disneyland, Universal. Before entering, guests will buy single ticket at the entrance to the park, through which it will be available most of attractions. Many of them will not be limited by the number of visits. We do not disclose the cost yet, but it will be lower than in similar American or European parks, moreover, we will provide discounts and discount systems for various groups population. Entrance to natural landscape park will be free for everyone.

- What entertainment is provided for adults?

Our park is primarily focused on family holiday. It will be interesting to be in it not only for children, but also for adults. In addition to attractions, the largest cinema complex will appear here, more than 50 restaurants and cafes, 200 shops and boutiques will open. It will be a full-fledged all-season city resort, where city holidays, world premieres, shows and much more will be held.
