What to take with you on a trip in winter. Suitcase mood: what to take with you on a winter vacation

On winter holidays, the main task is to provide your body with the maximum feeling of comfort in sub-zero temperatures. You should not be cold, but at the same time, the clothes should absorb sweat well and leave the skin dry. To complete the task, you will have to spend money on high-quality winter clothes.

The list of things below will help you get ready for ski resort quickly and efficiently.

Clothing in the mountains

Thermal underwear should remove moisture from the skin and retain the heat that our body generates during physical activity.

You also need to take with you:

  • underwear;
  • the first layer of thermal underwear (top + bottom);
  • thermal socks (2 pcs.);
  • waterproof shoes (2 pairs);
  • thermal underwear (second layer, jacket under the throat);
  • waterproof trousers;
  • ski jacket;
  • wool cap;
  • balaclava (balaclava);
  • scarf;
  • waterproof gloves for skiing;
  • warm walking gloves

If possible, it is better to take two sets of the first layer of clothing. Since it is in contact with the body, it will need to be washed periodically.

Jackets and pants are water-resistant, so they dry faster and should hold up without any problems.

For evening trips to the city, you can use the usual things that you wear in winter.

  • In order not to forget anything important, we recommend that you look into

For skiing, a child needs everything that is on the adult list. But a ski suit for a baby will be a useful set of clothes both in the resort and in the city - purchase it in advance.

Think about what the fidget will do on the way to the ski lift and on free evenings: take educational games, coloring books, books.

first aid kit

  • painkillers;
  • headache tablets;
  • means for treating small wounds (cotton wool, bandage, brilliant green, iodine);
  • sports gels (warming and cooling);
  • medicines for colds and their symptoms;
  • medical insurance(Necessarily!);
  • ascorbic acid (improving immunity, helping to recuperate);
  • remedies for gastric poisoning;
  • hangover pills;

Be sure to buy health insurance for fractures and other complex injuries. The ambulance will not be able to climb ski slope if something happens to you. A helicopter will be called, and 15 minutes of its use in Austria will cost at least 2,000 euros!

Insurance for skiers is more expensive than usual, but with the help you can always find the best option.

Technique

  • telephone;
  • camera;
  • action-camera (if you plan to shoot your descents);
  • recharging;
  • tablet or netbook.

Phones, camera, chargers for equipment put in a separate section of the suitcase. This will make it easier to find them.

Take care of the tariff or roaming in advance if you are going to ski or snowboard far from your home region.

"Women things"

It just so happened that not a single man will take cream and hygienic lipstick with him. What else should you take with you? winter holidays woman?

  • hygienic lipstick;
  • moisturizer (and for him too!);
  • SPF cream (so that the face does not burn);
  • hair bands;
  • washcloth;
  • bath accessories;
  • robe;
  • razors and shaving foam;
  • means of protection;

Don't forget hair ties, conditioners and shampoos. Skiing with your hair down best idea. Even the braided hair ski slopes feel bad about strong wind and an abundance of snow.

Take your shaving set seriously for yourself and your significant other. It would hardly occur to men to think about the harm that frost and moist air will cause to the skin.

Even in the mountains, a woman should remain beautiful 🙂

Useful little things

  • thermos;
  • thermomugs;
  • a small wallet (preferably a belt bandage);
  • GPS-navigator and maps to it;
  • electric shoe dryer;
  • sunglasses (protection level at least 3 levels);
  • walkie-talkies (for negotiations on the slopes);
  • player (useful during walks in the fresh air);

A man should take care of the logistics of the holiday. Put snacks, such as chocolate bars, in your jacket pockets. Take the downhill routes and the entire area at the reception desk. Take care of a thermos or a thermal mug. Before going out on the slope, it should be filled not just with tea, but with liquid with sugar - this will restore the calories spent and improve well-being. Of course, in developed resorts there are many eateries or restaurants. However, skiers have the concept of "hungry" when severe hunger suddenly comes, to the point of stomach pain. This is where a sip of sweet tea and chocolate will help.

An electric shoe dryer is very useful. She dries the boots from the inside, not the outside. As practice shows, ski boots also need drying!

Write in the comments what else we forgot to add to the list and we will promptly replenish it.

A topic that interests everyone who travels relatively recently. We, having skated hundreds of thousands of kilometers outside our native St. Petersburg, have already got the hang of it and we know what to take with us on a trip without other people's lists - we have our own. Yes, and those are already in the head and do not need to be read. But we are not all. Someone, I hope, the information below will greatly facilitate the collection at any time of the year.

Other useful articles from the section "how to organize an independent trip":

Once I wrote a separate post called. There was also about the first-aid kit, and about documents, and about toys. So, if you haven’t read it yet, go for a walk using the link, you will learn a lot of useful things from what to take on a trip by car if a child is traveling in it. And in the same article, I mentioned that Tanya and I had very few trips during the cold season. Now I can't say that. Now in winter we travel a lot and often. That's why I took the liberty of giving advice on how what to take on a trip in winter - for a child and parents. And the car. And at the very end of the post, I will reveal one secret that I learned recently.

What to take with you on a trip - CLOTHING

Necessarily - wool socks. Adults - 2 pairs (to be able to change wet to dry), children - 3 pairs. For every fireman.

Mittens and (not or) gloves. It is ideal for a child to take modern waterproof mittens. But our Tanka cannot stand them and walks all winter in thin knitted mittens, the fashion of which has died back in the Soviet Union. But she is comfortable in them. Minus one - get wet. Therefore, I take for her two pairs of thicker mittens and gloves - they are still more comfortable. For adults (that is, us), two pairs of something comfortable, familiar and, preferably, waterproof are enough. In second-hand stores, by the way, any leggings/mittens can be bought for only 100 rubles.

Hats. It is ideal for children on a trip (and not only) to take a hat-helmet. It is convenient to shoot, there are no these terrible ties that any child instantly pulls into non-untied knots. And the throat is closed tightly and impenetrably. You can take several hats on children's heads if they get wet, I hope one is enough for adults. For adults, a comfortable and favorite hat of any style is enough (as a rule, there are no problems with ties in adult hats).

Jackets/overalls. The most difficult point regarding children's outerwear. It is comfortable to sit in the car in pants and without a jacket, so a separate jumpsuit is ideal. Walking through the winter slush is better in one-piece overalls. Therefore, if possible, it is better to take both options on a trip. For adults, such a variety, you know, is useless.

Important addition! Even if weather forecasts promise you non-hard frosts, the top take clothes taking into account a sudden cold snap to minus 30. And take zero Celsius too. And on plus 5. In our car, Tanya traveled in fleece, putting on an autumn jacket to run to the filling toilet, relatively thin trousers and woolen socks. And she cut through the Khatyn fields in a down jacket and cotton pants. We just took off our jackets, hats and mittens in the car.

One more addition. I do not really believe in the need to dress children in the “right” clothes, when three layers - thermal / fleece / membrane guarantee comfort, lightness and non-freezing of the whole body. If you are going to run around like mad while being on the street, then this option is perfect. If you can hang before looking at something and don’t like to run at all, then at minus 10 you will simply freeze in the “correct” attire. Save it for ski trips. In Minsk, wadded pants and down jackets saved us. Although the fleece was also. Without thermal underwear, although I love him tenderly and tenderly.

Shoes. Minimum two pairs per person! Even if you're not traveling by car and are wondering what to pack, find a place for an extra pair of shoes. Shoes can get wet, scoop snow "over the edge", dampen ... Before the trip, check that your feet fit into the shoes, being dressed in woolen socks. By the way, did you know that feminine sanitary napkins absorb moisture very well? This is in case there is no way to use the grandfather's method and stuff newspapers into wet shoes.

Sweatshirts / sweaters / leggings. At least one item per person.

With clothes for "going out to people" in the evenings, I think everyone will cope individually. Take the one that suits the planned events. Plus one set of "home suit". Because in wadded trousers evaporate beer in the evening to drink. And don't forget your slippers. And then I saw in one of the reviews on Booking- There were no slippers in the room. They are quite rare there.

What to pack for your trip - RELATED PRODUCTS

Sunglasses. Yes! It can be sunny and unpleasant. The glasses help me a lot on the road not to go blind from the sun hitting my eyes through the windshield. The winter sun is sometimes brighter than the summer sun.

Protective cream. From frost. I don't think anyone will argue with that. For cheeks, noses and hands.

Hygienic lipstick. Even Kesha, on the sly from all her friends, uses my lipstick during winter trips (which I never forget to take). And Tanya is a girl in general, and she won’t even go to the store without lipstick. Be sure to take it in advance, so that later you don’t run around local supermarkets and don’t overpay!

Paper handkerchiefs. Wipe snot (after a frost, they will flow from any, even the most healthy person), put origami, if it becomes boring, leave the driver, etc. About how to entertain a child who is forced to drive hundreds of kilometers at your whim, being fastened to a car seat, I advise you to read:. I am sincerely proud that Tanya does not watch cartoons in a moving car and, I am sure, will not watch. Therefore, on the subject of "how to entertain" I will soon write a dissertation. Maybe. With examples of paper handkerchief toys.

Potty for a child. Winter is not summer, and I advise everyone to take a potty on a trip who has a child who does not go to school by age, but who has already psychologically grown out of diapers. You can’t wait until refueling, and children (especially girls) should not write in a snowdrift. And with a certain share of dexterity, you can use the pot right in the car.

What to take with you on a trip - AUTO GOODS

Here, of course, the floor must be given to Kesha, but he has no time. Therefore, I will write myself on the basis of general experience.

Antifreeze. One that will not freeze, like ours during the last road trip at minus ten, and will not defrost until the very return. You can throw snow on the windshield, but too lazy.

Wheel chains. To get out of the snow. Although they do not interfere in the summer. We would not have been interfered with on the Moscow Ring Road, when, on the very first night before a trip to Georgia, we carefully planted the car up to the very windows in the impassable Moscow mud.

For the same reason, the car must have shovel and strong tow rope.

Might be worth taking spare wipers. What if those on the glass break, and a snowstorm begins? ...

Life hack in the end

And an important life hack that not all mortals know about. But truckers often use it. In winter, it is worth taking a brick with you on a trip. The most common, red. But soaked in advance (during the day) in diesel fuel. Then pack it more tightly and take it out when you suddenly need to warm up. Such a brick burns up to 9 hours (what if someone is waiting somewhere?). It can also be (already extinguished) put in the interior of the car and used as a heater.

Classmates

Fluffy snow, a Christmas tree with a colorful garland, chiming clocks, Olivier salad, tangerines… Or maybe the sea, palm trees, coconuts? Or - ancient castles, fine wine, savory cheeses? If you decide to leave for the holidays in another country, it's time to be puzzled by the purchase of things that will be useful to you on vacation.

Meet New Year abroad - it is fashionable and practical. Almost two-week vacations allow you to leave your native latitudes and fully relax in distant lands. Someone prefers to go down with the breeze mountain slopes or wander the narrow streets European cities. And someone, on the contrary, is in a hurry to escape from winter into summer. But no matter where you go for the winter holidays, you can't do without a must-have kit that will help you out in any climate.

Medications

Despite the fact that you need to have medical insurance to travel to many countries, this does not guarantee that you can easily and quickly use the services of a doctor and get the necessary medicines when you need it. This usually takes a long time and requires a lot of effort. Meanwhile, a banal headache can become a real torment and ruin a few precious vacation days. Not to mention a cold or an upset stomach. And these are just three of the most common health problems that arise from jet lag, unusual weather or cuisine. It is clear that you cannot put the entire first-aid kit in a suitcase, but the most important and simple medicines should still be taken with you:

Activated charcoal will help with indigestion
For diarrhea - loperamide, smecta, imodium
With spasms - no-shpa and baralgin
With heartburn, pain in the stomach caused by high acidity - maalox, gastal, phosphalugel, rennie, and with overeating - festal and mezim
They will not allow the disease to develop - anaferon, arbidol, teraflu, fervex
Aspirin or paracetamol can help with fever
From a headache - citramon, citropack, spazmalgon
From pain in the heart - valerian, corvalol (valocordin), validol
Road beautician

Many women, collecting a travel cosmetic bag, experience some difficulties. And in fact, how to fit all the necessary funds into a small handbag? The answer is simple: you need to take universal cosmetics with you.

So, the ideal shampoo is one that includes conditioner. A makeup remover is something that can be used to “wash off” both mascara from the eyelashes and lipstick from the lips. Even a cream can be universal. For example, NIVEA Soft Intense Moisturizing Cream: with a particularly light texture, it is suitable for the face, hands and body.

Deodorant is another necessary thing on vacation: it is important that you solve the problem of unpleasant odor and do not overdry the skin - after all, on a trip, you may have to face extreme climatic conditions or water of unusual hardness. When choosing a deodorant, look carefully at its composition, giving preference to products with natural ingredients.
So, in the new NIVEA collection there is a deodorant-antiperspirant "Double Effect" with avocado extract. Not only does it work 24 hours a day to effectively protect you from sweat odor, but it also leaves your skin smoother for a close shave. By the way, it comes in a mini format, which means it's easy to fit in your makeup bag!

The last but very important touch is a lip balm that you will need, no matter in which country of the world you celebrate the New Year. Perfect solution- NIVEA Pure & Natural lip balms: Honey and Milk or Chamomile and Calendula, enriched with natural ingredients. Both balms combine two valuable ingredients - Shea and Jojoba oils, which nourish and moisturize the lips, giving them a seductive softness.

Small shoulder bag
An indispensable thing for any travel and also trendy! Coquettish handbags with long handles can be found in the autumn-winter collections of Dolce & Gabbana, Bottega Veneta, Christian Dior. And their democratic counterparts are on the shelves of mono-brand stores: H&M, ZARA, OGGI, Mango, etc.
Doctors say that this model of the bag is the most successful, since when it is worn, a minimal load on the back is created. In addition, this bag can be very useful on the streets of European cities, where thieves on motorcycles like to snatch handbags from the hands of careless tourists.

Camera

While large DSLRs are all the rage these days to capture stunningly beautiful shots, think carefully about taking them on the road. They weigh a lot, take up a lot of space and require the owner to be able to adjust the focus, understand the depth of field of the aperture and other tricks. Do you get lost when you hear such terms, since you shoot most often in the "auto" mode? Leave your DSLR at home and explore its possibilities at your leisure! Take a compact camera when you travel. Considering that today's compact cameras are almost as capable as professional ones, this would be a very wise decision.

For example, the Sony Cyber Shot DSC-W camera - a good choice for those who are looking for a small but powerful camera with a lot of programs and want to get high-quality pictures even under difficult shooting conditions. And with the Canon Digital IXUS 300HS, you get an excellent 10-megapixel compact camera with high performance and excellent design. The camera electronics not only allows you to recognize faces and focus on them, but also determines more than 20 types of different scenes, adjusting the shooting parameters specifically for them. With this camera, you will take equally good pictures as in new year's eve, and on any other day of your winter holidays!

male territory

Your suitcase is packed long ago travel suit stroked, flowers watered, beloved cat sent to mom ... And then the phone rings: your companion says that he is late at work and in a tearful voice begs to help him with the fees. Common situation?

It's no secret that often a man's suitcase is collected by a woman. Underwear, a razor, a toothbrush, a "charge" for a mobile phone, clothes for all occasions - all these things that fall into the category of "essentials" add up in a matter of minutes. However, when collecting his suitcase, do not forget to put a few items there for which the man will thank you separately.

For example, a cream and a compact brush for shoes (the Italian brand Giorgio has excellent options) - they will help you quickly polish, regardless of where your companion's foot has stepped - be it the sands of the Egyptian desert or London mud.

By putting shaving gel and aftershave balm for sensitive skin (for example, from NIVEA) in your suitcase, you will save a man from irritations associated with temperature changes or the use of water of a different hardness.

However, when collecting your companion on the road, you should not take responsibility for everything. Remember: this is male territory, which should be entered gently and delicately. Let him put his favorite laptop, iPod and other gadgets in his suitcase, without which he cannot imagine a single day of his life. And, of course, you need to leave the room, or at least turn away, to give him the opportunity to hide the gift intended for you: after all, you are going on a New Year's trip!

So, you are going on a 3 day trip. What to take with you on the road? About it will be discussed in our article.

Brief digression

For a trip, especially a long one, prepare in advance. There are things that are not done the day before departure:

  • execution of documents, bank cards of international standard;
  • purchase of medicines, currency, tickets;
  • copying documents;
  • hotel booking.

Make up short plan, and act strictly on it. Then you won't forget anything.

Create two lists on your laptop: one for a summer trip and one for a winter trip. It will take several minutes to fill in the fields of the special program. Divide things into categories. Once compiled a list will be useful to you for each subsequent trip.

What to take on a trip

Category #1. Cash, Documents, Roadmaps

If you are going, include a road map in the list of things - it will definitely come in handy.

Documentation, bank cards, cash is best put in a backpack or bag. Always carry them with you.

So the most important list on the road:

  1. Passport, its copies. It is necessary if you are going on vacation abroad. To travel to your native places, do not forget your regular passport. Make virtual copies on a flash drive, email, phone. Play it safe. If you suddenly lose the originals, copies will come in handy.
  2. Air, railway tickets or printouts of their electronic versions.
  3. printout electronic booking hotel rooms.
  4. Medical insurances of the international policy, their copies.
  5. Driving license, documents for the car, if you go on a journey by personal transport, a copy of them.
  6. Bank cards.
  7. cash in national currency the country where you are going. Divide into 3-5 parts, put in different places.
  8. Small notebook with personal notes. Enter there the route of movement, addresses, phone numbers.

Category No. 2. Travel first aid kit

Another important point of what to take on vacation. Going on a trip without medication means risking your health. Many drugs are not sold abroad without a prescription. And the same cream for burns at the resort is many times more expensive. Therefore, it is necessary to take medicines on the road.

It is convenient to divide the preparations into two parts. In the first place, put the necessary products, such as an allergy remedy, motion sickness, or a medicine that you constantly take. Carry them with you. All other drugs belong to the second part. They can be folded into travel first aid kit and put in a suitcase. better to know in advance and prepare them.

What to take with you on a trip:

  1. Medicines for diarrhea.
  2. Antipyretic, analgesic drugs.
  3. Allergy pills.
  4. Antivirals.
  5. Antibiotics.
  6. Creams for burns, stretch marks, bruises.
  7. Medications you take on a regular basis.
  8. Pills for motion sickness.
  9. Ointment for insect bites.
  10. Bandages, cotton wool, iodine, plaster, hydrogen peroxide.

Category number 3. What to take with you on a trip from personal hygiene items, cosmetics

In this category, enter only the minimum set of what you need. Women often take with them the whole arsenal of decorative cosmetics. As a result, most of space in the suitcase is occupied by completely useless items. Take with you only what you really need!

What to take on the road:

  1. Toothbrush, paste.
  2. Shaving accessories.
  3. Comb.
  4. Solid deodorant.
  5. Liquid soap.
  6. Washcloth.
  7. Shampoo-conditioner in samples.
  8. Roll of toilet paper.
  9. Packing of dry wipes.
  10. Wet wipes packaging.
  11. Cotton swabs for ears.
  12. Disposable plastic bags (10-15 pieces).

Addition for women:

  1. 5-10 sponges.
  2. Small mirror.
  3. A couple of hair ties or hairpins.
  4. Moisturizing cream.
  5. Tweezers.
  6. Makeup remover.
  7. Pads, tampons.
  8. Mascara, a small pack of eyeshadows, lipstick.
  9. Foundation or powder.

The last two points are needed only if you cannot imagine your life without applying makeup. If you are eating at beach holiday, then it is necessary to paint only in the evening, if you go somewhere to go. This is not recommended for the beach. Therefore, you do not need 10 types of shadows and the same amount of lipstick and lip gloss. One mascara, lipstick, a pack of two types of shadows and a foundation that evens out the complexion - that's required list things on a journey from decorative cosmetics.

Category number 4. What to take on the road from things and shoes

One of the most important items on the list of what will come in handy when traveling. Think carefully about your wardrobe.

Take things according to the climate of the place where you are going. Check out the weather forecast for your holidays.

Do not take a lot of the same clothes and shoes. Statistics say that half of the things on the list are never worn on a trip.

Take with you things that are combined with each other.

Choose comfortable clothing made from natural materials. Do not take with you new shoes that have not yet been broken in and rub your feet.

What to take on vacation:

  1. Pants or jeans. For a hot climate, light, linen ones are suitable, for a cold one - from natural wool or jersey, dense knitwear.
  2. Breeches or shorts.
  3. Two T-shirts.
  4. One blouse.
  5. Sweater.
  6. Pajamas, nightgown - what you are used to sleeping at home.
  7. Light jacket, such as a windbreaker.
  8. Sneakers, sneakers made of fabric. Put them on the road.
  9. 3 changes of underwear (based on what you eat for 3 days).
  10. Slates.
  11. Swimsuit (swimming trunks), pareo for a trip to the sea.
  12. Two pairs of socks.
  13. One dress for going out and shoes (sandals) to it.
  14. Sunglasses.
  15. Headgear - hat or cap.

Category number 5. What to take with you on a trip from technology

It all depends on personal preference. Someone takes one mobile phone, the other - about a dozen items.

The optimal list of things on the road:

  1. Mobile phone;
  2. MP3 player.
  3. A laptop, if you can't imagine your life without it.
  4. Flash drive, external hard drive.
  5. For travel by personal transport, a navigator is useful.
  6. Camera or video camera.

The last point is easily replaced by a mobile phone with a good camera. If this is not the case, then take a camera - you need to bring beautiful pictures from your vacation.

Pack your equipment in a separate bag. Don't forget to everyone Charger. If you're on an airplane, take a bag with you in case your luggage gets lost.

It is not safe to connect to a public network while traveling. Use a VPN.

Category No. 6. What to take with you from food and other important little things

If the path to the resting place is not close, and you do not eat, for example, on an airplane where food is served, be sure to bring snacks with you. It is undesirable to arrange a meal in road cafes - the quality of products there is difficult to check.

Take water on the road at the rate of 1.5 liters per person. From food, dried fruits, apples and pears, peeled nuts, vegetables (carrots, bell peppers, cucumbers). Wash all this beforehand, cut it and put it first in foil or parchment and only then in a bag.

If you go for a long time, for example, a day, it will come in handy:

  • boiled eggs;
  • chopped loaf, bread, thin pita bread;
  • boiled or fried chicken fillet;
  • hard cheese;
  • pastries with raisins, prunes;
  • crackers, bagels, biscuits.

Do not forget tea bags, coffee, sugar.

Important little things:

  • jackknife;
  • matches, lighter;
  • flashlight;
  • tee, extension cord for those who take a lot of equipment on a trip;
  • toothpicks;
  • food film;
  • boiler;
  • plastic mugs;
  • set of disposable tableware.

Category number 7. What to take with you on a trip with a child

If you are traveling with a child, the number of necessary items on the road increases. Take care of how to take the baby on the road, what to feed, pick up clothes and personal hygiene products.

List of things to travel with a child:

  1. Documentation. The photo of the child is pasted into the parent's passport or he has his own passport. He is issued a visa, medical insurance. You will need permission from the second parent in case of traveling with one mom or dad. These documents are required for traveling abroad.
  2. Cloth. Take the same things for a child as for an adult. Just double the amount of hiking clothes in case your little one gets dirty.
  3. Medicines for a child with chronic diseases.
  4. Food and drink. For toddlers, stock up on fruit and vegetable purees, baby food, juices, water, chopped fruit, and biscuits.
  5. Personal hygiene items: diapers, wet wipes, paper towels.
  6. Pillow under the head and a small blanket.
  7. Toys. On the road, organize an interesting leisure time for your child. Take along a couple of books, a coloring book with pencils, 2-3 favorite toys. Some take a tablet or download cartoons to their phone.
  8. Foldable stroller or baby carrier for very young travelers.
  9. Bottle, pacifier.
  10. Folding pot.

What not to take on the road

I want to take with me dear to my heart things of little use. In order for the suitcase to be lifting and not cause trouble, it is necessary to abandon items that are not useful on the way. Approach the list with a cool head. Think about what you can easily do without.

There is no room in your suitcase for the following items:

  1. Fen. It is in any decent hotel, and it does not make sense to take it from home. For independent travel cut your hair so that styling is not needed or just collect your hair in a braid (tail, bun).
  2. Books. They are heavy and take up a lot of space. Readers will love the e-book. Download several works on your mobile phone at home.
  3. Decorations. Put on a minimum: a gold chain, a pair of rings. It is better to leave the bracelet and earrings at home, especially if you are going to the sea. They are easy to lose in water. Golden watch with precious stones, brooch and other jewelry are not needed during the trip.
  4. Road iron. Take with you things that do not wrinkle. In case the thing is very wrinkled, it can be sprinkled with water and hung on a rope. Or take an iron at the reception in the hotel. But an iron on a trip is a completely unnecessary item.
  5. Scissors, wire cutters, corkscrew, screwdriver and other sharp-piercing objects. The only exception is a small folding knife.
  6. Women's bags. You won't need a clutch when traveling. One small bag or backpack containing the essentials is sufficient.

We collect the suitcase correctly

The list of travel essentials is impressive. But competent styling will allow you to collect everything in a suitcase with a volume of 45 liters.

First of all, lay out the items for the trip in separate piles by category in front of you. Place your shoes at the bottom of your suitcase. On top of her warm clothes, tight jeans. That's where the technique is. Roll up knitwear. IN separate compartments put the first aid kit, personal hygiene products, cosmetics. They are easy to get if you suddenly need them.

IN hand luggage take documents, money, house keys, phone, life-saving medicine, notebook with notes. road map and put all the documents on the car in the glove box.

Don't forget a separate bag of food and drink. If you are traveling with a child, you should have diapers, wet wipes and items for interesting leisure time with you.

Do not pack your suitcase all the way. Many airlines have weight limits (20 kg for one piece of baggage). Leave room for souvenirs.

Pack liquids in a tight bag. Separately fold shoes, clothes and other things and distribute them evenly throughout the suitcase. Put your underwear in a special pocket. In another pocket, pack cosmetics and various little things.

Place a folding bag on top of the folded items. If there is an overweight, put some things into it. The same bag is convenient to use when traveling for shopping or on excursions.

A cover or film will help protect the suitcase from dirt. Pack the suitcase itself, and it will be visible from afar on the luggage belt.

If you are traveling abroad, take a phrase book with you. The road to your destination is a great opportunity to practice foreign language. Or download audiobooks to an MP3 player.

While you are on the road, there is plenty of time. Download a movie that you have long wanted to see on your phone or laptop, read a book, make a plan to improve your performance. In a word, do something useful for which there is no time in ordinary life. You can just sleep. This is usually the time for Everyday life also no.

For travel to new country take your guidebook with you. You have time to study the culture, local cuisine, attractions, laws and regulations of the new society.

Take with you things that provide individual comfort. Someone is used to sleeping on a single pillow, someone is mortally disturbed by mosquitoes. Stock up on insect repellant. Many children are accustomed to sleeping with their favorite toy. Items will not take up much space, but with them you will feel more comfortable on the road.

Take a maximum of 2 pairs of shoes with you: flip-flops for regular walks, going to the beach, and shoes (sandals) for going to a restaurant or disco. Put on closed shoes (sneakers or sneakers). They also come in handy in case of cool weather or rain. As practice shows, shoes take up a lot of space in a suitcase, and most of it is not used.

Epilogue

For many, packing a suitcase for a trip of a few days turns into a test. Do not take two or three pairs of jeans with you - they will definitely not come in handy. Several types of the same clothing are allowed only with underwear, T-shirts and socks. One skirt, one shorts, one dress - this is enough for 3 days for sure.

The same goes for personal hygiene items. Take shampoo in disposable bags, gel, shower foam is replaced with liquid soap and a washcloth. Remember that this is easily bought in any store. The exception is a trip to the forest, where there are no benefits of civilization.

Take a snack with you, it is better to find out in advance.

Main! Do not forget:

  • documentation;
  • cash and bank cards;
  • house keys;
  • medicines that support life (insulin, for example);
  • mobile phone and charger. Check your bill in advance and find out about the rate. Do I need to connect additional service for calls abroad, for example?

These items are really necessary for a successful trip.
