Traveling abroad what to take with you. What to take with you on a trip and how to make a list of necessary things. Clothes and shoes - a list of things to take with you to the sea

I always write a list in advance before the trip, so as not to forget something necessary, and then scold myself for forgetfulness and hindsight. Most often, the set of the most important things is the same, only the clothes change depending on the season and the purpose of the trip.

Travel essentials:

Documentation: passport and its copy, copy Russian passport(if you are traveling abroad), an electronic copy of your passports (scan documents and send them to your e-mail), driver's license (if you rent a car).

Medical insurance. Insurance is required to be presented at the embassy when obtaining a visa. She also needs to take insurance with her on a trip.

Tickets or printouts. Although the airport does not ask for air tickets, but only a passport, it is better to have a printed copy with you. itinerary receipt. Read the article on how to buy cheap flights online.

voucher, or a hotel booking voucher if you are traveling on your own.

Money. It could be money for bank card and cash. If you keep money only on a card, take cash with you on a trip, even preferably in small bills, to pay for the bus or taxi fare if you get to the hotel on your own.

Reminder with necessary phone numbers: address and telephone number of the Russian embassy, telephone numbers of the police and ambulance.

If you regularly take some pills, put them in the first-aid kit in the first place, the funds will also not interfere:

  • for a cold (I take with me a couple of bags of Theraflu and lollipops for a sore throat),
  • from indigestion (many people overeat when traveling, or food can be stale in large hotels),
  • painkillers (No-shpa or Tempalgin),
  • products for treating scratches (for example, bottles of iodine),
  • sunscreen if you are going to sunbathe,
  • sunburn treatment,
  • band-aid,
  • earplugs (can live nearby noisy neighbors or there may be a club / disco nearby)

Personal hygiene products: washcloth, toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, razor, shaving foam, face and hand cream, wet wipes, cotton buds, deodorant, comb, hair tie and soap (in case you need to wash something).

Camera and charger (or batteries). If the memory card is not large, then take a flash drive with you, you can go to any Internet cafe and transfer photos to a flash drive and continue taking pictures.

Mobile phone And Charger. For some reason about charger for the phone, many remember at the last moment or completely forget about it.

Adapter for socket. In some countries, the plugs for the outlet are different from Russian ones, so always find out what type of outlet is in the hotel where you are staying. There are universal adapters that can be used in almost any country.

Guide and map. It is advisable to plan in advance what you need to visit and see.

Required Conversational Phrases on foreign language. Phrases for use in a restaurant, in a hotel, in case you need to go to the police or to the hospital, can come in handy.

Needle, thread and superglue in case something gets torn or torn off during the trip.

Pen to record important information.

Clothing and footwear. What you will wear during the trip largely depends on the place where you are going and the goals. For example, if you are going to sunbathe on the beach without leaving the hotel, then shorts, T-shirts, swimwear, hats, slippers, and sunglasses will come in handy here. If you have sightseeing tour and you intend to do a lot of walking around the city and sightseeing, then shoes are important: sneakers or comfortable shoes. Even if you are going to warm countries, take warm clothes with you (socks, jacket, pants). Just in case, I take a raincoat with me, it is much lighter than an umbrella.

Quite often, the most unpleasant point of travel is long and burdensome fees. Or fast and stupid. I know those who are going on a trip with taste for a week, thinking through each pin, and those who are going on the day of departure, forgetting half of it. Did you recognize yourself?

I have been preparing for the trip for years. Every time after returning from a trip, starting from a trip to the Crimea in 1998, I wrote "Lists of things for the road based on the results of the last trip." And going next time on the road, I always used the previous list. She opened a notepad and with a pen put a tick in front of the item packed in luggage.
A lot has accumulated over the past 15 years. In any case, the brown notebook is over. The lists differ from each other because the trips themselves differ: the number and set of things for a three-week trip differs from the list of things for two- and three-day trips. Also, a trip by train, bus and car involves slightly different sets and distributions of things. What is distribution? This is packing things in different bags: luggage (which will be removed and left untouched during the move to the destination), bag (s) with you (what you will use on the trip).

Advertising - club support

Due to the nature of my work, I traveled quite a lot. Over time, numerous lists turned into one standard list of things that you can get together in 1 hour, provided that you are traveling with a small family (here, of course, you can’t do it in an hour) and provided that the clothes are washed and ironed in the closet, only get a stack. Because "work" with clothes is the most time-consuming. We always keep clothes (and shoes!) in combat (clean!) readiness if you are an avid traveler.
So, I present to you a simple and "quick" list of things to collect on a trip (trip, road). Prepare a bag (suitcase), print out the list, fold things and put a mark in front of each item.
P.S. Care and hygiene products can be packed together in one bag. The same goes for drugs. Try to arrange items in such a way that close ones for their intended purpose are located together, so it will be convenient to find them and unpack them on the spot.

Food

I do not write a list of food, because it is very individual. You can take fruits, nuts, dryers, cookies, sweets, a couple of packages of cold cuts, bread, as well as plenty of water and various drinks like Lipton green tea.
We prefer to eat in a cafe so that we can feed the child with soup, and we ourselves do not sit on dry food. Travel food should be tasty and safe.

This list is quite general - both for those traveling by car and those traveling by train. For those who travel by bus, you need to take additional things, but I will make a separate post about this.
For those who travel with children, read the posts:

good to you suitcase mood and fast fees!

Having sent all the responsibilities away, and not to give up all the same moment, having escaped from troubles and problems somewhere into the sunset, only one thought helps: I’ll finalize a month (two, three, six months), and finally take long-awaited vacation. I'll pack up and leave here for some fabulous, paradise, and I will listen to the singing of birds and crickets in turn for days and nights, plunge into crystal clear water and absorb the expanse of the sky with my eyes on dark and starry tropical nights.

But as soon as the long-awaited day approaches, everyone starts to panic: what kind of things to take on a long trip? What must not be forgotten? Surely after the arrival it turns out that something incredibly important and necessary was forgotten in their native lands, and now, it would seem, such a trifle, but the rest is already spoiled.

Fortunately, for such cases, for the sake of their forgetful compatriots, more organized and experienced travelers were not too lazy and made a clear list, which lists all those things that will certainly come in handy for every vacationer. A list of things at sea, on vacation or on the road will also be simply indispensable if the fees need to be made as soon as possible. After all, there is not always a reserve of time to gather your thoughts and determine for yourself a list of necessary items and things.

What to take to the sea

The list of things at sea should be compiled with great care. It is important not to forget to put in a bag sunscreens, swimwear and other special accessories. Having compiled a list of things and documents, you should definitely mark what has already been packed, so as not to remember later whether all the necessary things have been taken. So the list should include...

Documentation

The most important of them, of course, is the passport. After all, without it, you won’t even be able to get on a plane. Next is airfare. Because a passport alone does not confirm the right to fly. You will also need a medical policy.

Cloth

Everyone (especially women) is familiar with the situation when the “most necessary and important” things taken with them, as a result, turn out to be never even worn during the holidays. Therefore, the following is extremely practical. minimal list necessary things at sea for women.

1) Underwear. You can take four panties, two or three pairs of socks and three bras: white, black and flesh-colored.

2) Swimsuit. You can, of course, buy it on arrival. But, as you know, the price of such a simple purchase can be literally sky-high. Therefore, it would be better to take care of this wardrobe item while still in your native land. Or better yet, buy a pair of bathing suits. In case one breaks or takes a long time to dry after washing, there is always a spare on hand.

3) Shorts. An extremely practical item. You can walk in them, and visit the beach, and go to the store, and just walk in your room.

4) Jeans. After all, the evenings may not be as warm as the days, and therefore the list of things on vacation at sea should contain this item.

5) Skirt. Great feminine alternative to shorts.

6) Mikey. A practical item for walking in hot climates. Just don't take too many of them to the sea. The list of the most necessary things includes no more than three copies.

7) Hats. It can be a cap, hat or panama. The main thing is that the head is not subjected to intense heat exposure to sunlight. Thus, a headdress should certainly be included in the list of things on vacation at sea.

8) Dress. It is advisable to take only one dress with you, but if you have space in your bag, you can take a pair: short and long.

9) Jacket with long sleeves. In addition to jeans. If it suddenly turns out to be a bad day, it will save you from the cold.

10) Pajamas. The list of things on vacation at sea for those who like to sleep in cozy pajamas must have such an item.

Shoes

1) Slippers. Better to stock up on two pairs just in case. One will be intended for trips to the beach, and the second - for walking around the city.

2) Sneakers or ballet flats. If the place in the bag is very limited, it is better to give preference to ballet flats. They are more versatile: they can be worn with shorts, skirts, and jeans. But rough sneakers will look ridiculous and tasteless with the same skirt. And shoes take up much less space.

3) Sandals. The ideal option is one pair at low speed. By the evening, your legs will get tired of heels, and a wonderful rest has a chance to turn into a terrible torture.

Other

1) Points. Sunscreen and with diopters (for those who have vision problems).

2) Jewelry. You should not take gold, but stone jewelry is quite suitable when compiling additional list In addition, the list of things at sea can also be supplemented with costume jewelry: it is inexpensive, but often quite elegant and attractive.

3) Umbrella in case of rain.

4) A blanket for going to the sea.

5) Cosmetics. Care and protective equipment. And also decorative cosmetics, which will certainly need to be grabbed in order to look spectacular. You should also take a comb, hand cream, nail file, varnish and a means for removing it.

6) First aid kit. It must include painkillers, cotton wool, brilliant green, peroxide, alcohol wipes, activated charcoal, adhesive plaster and small scissors.

7) Hygiene products: soap, washcloth, shampoo, toothbrush and paste, pads or tampons.

8) Insect spray - also important and should be on the list of things on a seaside vacation.

9) Technique. Phone, charger and headphones, tablet, Internet modem and, if required, a camera.

Nice trip for the little ones

Parents traveling with children will need a special list of things to do at sea with a child. What to take depends on a number of factors, such as the age of the baby and his state of health.

For babies, a large pack of diapers will be required, for an older child - an additional set of linen. After all, as you know, children are smeared much more often than adults.

You need to bring warm clothes for evening walks because the child's body is more susceptible to cold. Getting sick while on vacation - what could be worse?

If it gets boring

Of course, you will also need entertainment items: your favorite book with fairy tales, a toy, pajamas with an adorable cartoon character. If there is a place, you can include it in the list of things needed on a vacation at sea, Board games(they are not bulky, but they will be able to cheer up a bored child). Coloring books and the accompanying felt-tip pens, gel pens or wax pencils that do not need to be sharpened will also come in handy. The main thing is that their composition is non-toxic and safe for the health of the child. Mandatory for spending time on the water rubber ring and armlets, a terry towel and a dressing gown. By the way, this little thing for children can be entrusted even to the smallest traveler, having previously packed it into a small children's backpack.

What to take on the road from products

It is more convenient, of course, to order food directly on the plane and not bother with its preliminary preparations. But for lovers of home cooking, there are also food ready-made lists for the road. What to take with you on a trip from food?

Drink

First of all - pure water. If it is not customary to drink plain water in the family, you can take tea or homemade fruit compote instead. But keep in mind that you can carry liquids only in packages of 0.1 liters and a total volume of not more than a liter. So you have to pour the drink into small jars.

Travel food

Food should not be perishable, crumble heavily and exude intense odor. Especially if it's specific. Thus, baked, fried meat and meatballs should not be taken on a plane.

An excellent option is cookies, especially biscuits (dry and low-fat), chocolate. You need to make sure that the food contains enough protein. It can be boiled meat (chicken, beef, turkey), nuts, some hard cheese. You can take fresh fruits or dried fruits, vegetables. They will be easier to pack if pre-cut into medium-sized pieces.

What should be packed separately

By the way, you can’t take canned or packaged food on the plane. Boiled eggs can be taken, but on condition that they are stored separately from other products, especially those that can accelerate their deterioration. Sweets should also be put in a separate, securely closed bag. You can also pack salads or sandwiches in an airtight container.

And lovers of hot tea can take a thermos with boiling water and bags of their favorite tea or coffee sticks on the road. Thus, on the road you can enjoy the most pleasant process of tea drinking.

Of course, for reliability, you should carefully read the rules of the flight of the particular company whose services it was decided to use. And going on the road, you need, having collected the main, provided ready list things, to think about some personal needs. It is quite possible that there is something additional, without which the journey will not be so exciting and productive. And buy forgotten thing locally can be unimaginably expensive. Have a good rest!

I love to pack a suitcase - I know how to neatly fold all things and do not forget the important things.

I know how to protect my suitcase from thieves. I'll tell you how to do the same.

How to choose a suitcase

The best suitcase is small, hard and has four wheels.

It is inconvenient to carry a large suitcase: it weighs a lot on its own and does not fit on luggage racks in buses and trains. You are unlikely to fill it with things and purchases on a regular trip. And if you score, then pay the airline for the advantage.

Things are safer in a hard suitcase. It will not wrinkle when loaded onto an aircraft, it is not afraid of blows. In my soft suitcase, tin cans were constantly crumpled and packages were torn. In hard, I boldly drive wine bottles - everything flies.

Often a combination lock is installed on the suitcases, which fixes the lightning dogs. It's called TSA Lock. A thief can't open your suitcase without knowing the code, but airport security can, they have a special key. I do not recommend using this lock. In fact, at many airports there are no keys to the TSA Lock, and the security service opens the suitcase with a ballpoint pen, damaging the zipper ( here's how it's done). Thieves do the same.

This is how I'm going on a trip

Copies of documents

I am afraid of losing my documents while traveling. Therefore, I do not carry them with me, but leave them at the hotel. However, sometimes documents are needed: they are asked when you buy alcohol, or the police are sometimes interested.

For such cases, I make color copies. I copy the main page of the passport and the page with the visa. I put them in my wallet and always carry them with me.

Printed insurance

Some are content with an email from an insurance company with a PDF of the policy. But I print insurance and put it in my passport. If they bring me in an ambulance unconscious, the doctors will first find the policy in my wallet and contact the insurance company themselves.

Rope-roulette

It's a small padlock the size of two matchboxes, with a pull cord and a code. It is convenient for them to fasten luggage in the train, shop, room.

In a hostel, such a thing will save a couple of euros. Money will be asked for a padlock to lock things in a personal locker, and you have your own.

When is a roulette cable useful?

You have arrived in Berlin and you are taking the city train for an hour to get home. The luggage was put on a special shelf, among other people's suitcases. In order not to worry and not to look back after each stop, fasten it with a cable to the handrail. So no one will take your suitcase.

Or you are going to buy water in the supermarket, but it is inconvenient to roll your suitcase in the store. Clip it near cash registers or storage compartments.

But remember that a roulette cable is a weak lock. Given enough time, the thief will either pick up the code or cut through the cable. Do not park your suitcase for a couple of hours on some busy street.

Spare card and cash

I'm paranoid - I'm afraid to be in a foreign country, not only without a passport, but also without money. To prevent this from happening, I put my mini wallet with a credit card in my suitcase.

I put a hundred dollars in there just in case. I also put a piece of paper with the bank's support phone number - I'll call him to.

If my wallet is stolen, I can always take a taxi to the police, the embassy or the airport. I will pay for food with a credit card, I will buy new ticket on a plane or withdraw cash as a last resort. But this is only as a last resort - large interest rates will immediately run for withdrawing money from a credit card.

What else to take with you

Interesting book and chocolate- in hand luggage. The book helps to relax aerophobes like me. Have a chocolate snack if you have to wait a long time for dinner or don't want to spend money on a cafe.

All liquids it is better to carry in luggage - otherwise they will be taken away at the security control.

Thread and needle. I advise you to pack them in an empty Matchbox and put in a bag with wires. It will help if the trousers are torn or the button comes off. And it’s also convenient to change the SIM card in an iPhone with a needle.

A couple of simple souvenirs. Postcards from your hometown, magnets and even subway tokens - give random acquaintances that you like, or hand them to the owners of the apartment with Airbnb. I prepare special traveler business cards for every big trip.

What to take with you on a trip

  1. Copies of documents.
  2. Printed insurance.
  3. Cable-roulette with a lock.
  4. Mini first aid kit.
  5. Clothes in cases.
  6. Wire bag.
  7. Spare card and cash.
  8. Souvenirs for cute fellow travelers.

What to put in hand luggage

We put everything of value in hand luggage (documents, money, phone, etc.). E If you are flying by plane, then hand luggage there should be nothing piercing-cutting and liquid. And also, what can be useful on the road:

  • napkins
  • comb
  • mirror
  • pen
  • leisure magazine or crossword puzzle
  • some water

Baggage

We put everything in a suitcase compactly. So that things are not wrinkled, I twist them like a sausage. In my opinion, there are fewer places and the view remains good. The suitcase should never be packed all the way. Firstly, you may have an overweight (most airlines have a baggage allowance of up to 20 kg), and secondly, back, you will probably buy something for yourself or your loved ones.
