Hygiene is very important for good health crocodiles, since sick crocodiles do not produce good meat and skin. Aviaries should be cleaned and dried regularly. Wastewater must also be cleaned regularly. Therefore, a special requirement for enclosures is the impermeability of the sides of their pools for water, in order to prevent its seepage both from the outside and from the inside.
Breeding crocodiles begins with their eggs. The temperature in the incubator should be 32°C. Crocodile cubs are given red meat and chicken heads with vitamin and mineral complexes for food. Starting from the very first day, the cubs are indoors in special pens, where hygiene is strictly observed - they are cleaned and dried, as small crocodiles are highly susceptible to diseases. They should have wide and easy access to water and land. The water temperature in the pools is also maintained at 30 - 32 °C.
If a crocodile gets sick, he is given antibiotics or antibacterial drugs, sometimes in combination. Veterinary supervision on the farm is necessary condition, and drugs are purchased strictly by prescription. 
The cages of young crocodiles (also called "producers") are mainly located outdoors, as their growth and development depend on the natural climatic conditions of their surroundings. Aviaries are mainly composed of one water and land. The water pool should be shallow, say from 150 to 300 millimeters. Growing and adult individuals (from 4 years and older) are placed in deeper, larger and more open water bodies. They are kept in groups - one male with several female crocodile (preferred).

Production begins with an inspection of the crocodile, checking the condition and size of its skin. A crocodile, after being caught, can be transferred to a “resting” pen, which helps to relieve stress, which has a beneficial effect on the quality of the skin, and heal minor wounds received from relatives during their stay in a common enclosure.
For two days after capture, crocodiles are not fed and then humanely killed. To do this, they shoot a 22-caliber bullet from a special pistol into the upper part of the neck to destroy the brain. The spinal cord and main arteries of the crocodile are then cut to collect the animal's blood in one place. The areas of the shot and cut should be soaked with a swab with a disinfectant solution - a means to prevent damage to the skin. After bleeding, the entire skeleton and entrails must be removed with a disinfectant, and the carcass washed with a special agent. 
Then the skin goes to the tanning industry, where for another 60 days it turns into a real valuable material, for which it could be grown on a farm for more than a dozen years. But then she can please several generations of her owners.

Domesticated, alligators and crocodiles have been bred on farms around the world since the early 20th century. Most of these early businesses, such as the St. Augustine Alligator Farm Zoological Park founded in 1893 in America, were farms in name only and were primarily concerned with displaying alligators and crocodiles as a tourist attraction. It was only in the 1960s that commercial organizations began to emerge that either collected eggs from the wild or raised alligators on farms. This was in large part caused by declining stocks of wild alligators, which had been hunted almost to extinction by that time.
Since the American alligator was placed under official protection in 1967 (under legislation preceding the Endangered Species Act of 1973 (CITES)), breeding alligators became the most viable option for leather producers to obtain legal pelts, as opposed to harvesting these crocodiles from wildlife. Such industries were mainly concentrated in southern states USA - Louisiana, Florida and Georgia, but this practice quickly spread to other countries.
Both the American and Chinese alligators are heavily farmed today, mostly within the respective region of each species. Smaller caimans generally do not have sufficient market value for farming, although spectacled caimans are farmed in South America. Caiman breeding is also found in Asia.
Farming of alligators and crocodiles first grew because of the demand for their skins, which can fetch hundreds of dollars each. But alligator and crocodile meat, long a part of Southern cooking (especially Cajun cuisine) and some Asian and African cuisines, began to be sold and delivered to markets unfamiliar with crocodile meat. The farm earns on visitors (and not on the sale of crocodiles). The entrance ticket costs 500 rubles (plus visitors spend money on feeding crocodiles, cafes, souvenirs).
I remember when I visited the St. Petersburg Oceanarium two years ago, there were several cloakroom attendants in the locker room - so many people came. But, to be honest, not all visitors were delighted with this oceanarium (and I am one of them). real big water we didn't see it there. There was a small corner with seals where they showed us a little performance. There were many small aquariums built into the wall. And one large aquarium built into the ceiling, with small sharks, which we quickly passed by on a moving walkway, then suddenly it was all over and we asked ourselves: "Is that all???."
In the St. Petersburg Oceanarium, on the one hand, in terms of organization, everything was at a high level (cash desks, turnstiles, a locker room with numerous cloakroom attendants), a large souvenir shop. But we did not see the Oceanarium itself (with a capital letter).
And for people visiting a corner of wildlife, the most important thing is to see this very corner of wildlife in the maximum turn (like in a movie theater on a big screen), and not in small pieces, as in any shabby resort living corner.
Of course, I personally have not yet been to the Yekaterinburg crocodile farm itself to judge its large-scale dimensions (I judge only by the photo). But I already like the fact that the crocodiles swim there in one large space and it is clearly visible from all sides. Therefore, the spectacle there can be seen interesting.
Crocodile farm as a business idea
On the one hand, it is not profitable to grow exotic animals on the territory of cold Russia.
On the other hand, it is the exoticism of such farms that will attract the maximum attention of both city residents and tourists to them.
