Disneyland Paris celebrates its birthday - Mollenta - Youth Information Portal. Birthday of Disneyland

Disneyland Paris- this is the best thing that happened to me. I spent my birthday there. Birthday at Disneyland, Carl!!! Anyone dreams of it. And I am no exception.

But let's talk about everything in more detail.

It needs to be known

Disneyland Paris is 2 theme parks: Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios Park. Each must have at least one day. Unfortunately, we were limited by the scope of our trip, and could only visit Disneyland Park.

Disneyland Park is divided into 5 zones around the Sleeping Beauty Castle.

1. First of all, you get to Main Street, U.S.A. There are many houses, shops and interesting things for the little ones.

2. On the left hand is a part of Frontierland, which takes us to the world of the Wild West.

3. Move clockwise, and straight ahead will be Adventureland with Robinson Crusoe's house and Pirates caribbean.

4. Right behind Sleeping Beauty's castle is Fantasyland, where you can find sketches from your favorite Disney fairy tales.

5. Completes the circle Discoveryland with attractions from the world of science.

Amusement tokens

FASTPASS is a service that will help reduce the waiting time. It works simply: come to an attraction where FASTPASS is available and the waiting time is more than 30 minutes, take a ticket with a note indicating what time you need to return, and go on having fun.

At the appointed time, go through a separate entrance, and you will get to the attraction in a few minutes.

My advice: go for a run in the morning and collect fast passes everywhere, after 12:00 the machines with them cover until the evening.

SINGLE RIDER is a service that can be used by guests who come together but are ready to ride separately.

In some cases, the waiting time is reduced. We always skated together, and I can’t say that we had to wait too long.

Attractions that have FASTPASS or SINGLE RIDER are marked with the corresponding icons on the map.

The coolest rides

roller coaster Star Wars Hyperspace Mountain struck me the most. Maybe because this race was the very first, the most terrible and the darkest. I screamed the loudest - an unreal feeling.

The slides are small, but due to the fact that you are driving in complete darkness, occasionally illuminated by spotlights, it seems that you are about to run into something, crash or something.

Be sure to run here first. The attraction opened only in the spring of 2017, but is already very popular.

Big Thunder Mountain- a cool, but very long waiting time attraction. We stood in line for 65 minutes and rode for 2 minutes. But it's worth it!

Trailers go underground, leaving for neighboring island with an artificial mountain. You seem to be really racing through an abandoned gold mine.

IN Star Tours: l'Aventure Continue back to Star Wars. Robots are already waiting in line, videos are playing, the atmosphere is completely immersive.

Attraction 3D, here everyone will feel like a part of a team from « star wars". Don't expect the same thrill, How on roller coaster. Rather a bunch positive emotions and high.

Indiana JonesTM et le Temple du Peril, they say, one of the coolest and most unforgettable. Unfortunately, it was closed for renovation. Maybe you will be more lucky and you will visit its dead loop.

As a nice bonus, on many attractions you are filmed by hidden cameras. After riding, be sure to look at your screaming, laughing or perplexed faces.

I won’t exaggerate if I say that all the rides are the worst! Just somewhere more impressions, somewhere less. I squealed with delight even on a children's carousel.

Parade

Every day at 5:30 p.m., a parade of Disney characters takes place in the park along a certain route. Regardless of age, everyone comes to it, lining up on both sides of the road.

You will see dancing artists, high platforms with your favorite cartoons, a fire-breathing dragon, bubble, snow flakes and much more.

Come early, people start to take places an hour before the parade. But I think you can come for 30 minutes and take a good point for viewing.

final show

When entering Disneyland, be sure to ask for the closing time, because at this time the evening show. On Saturdays, the park is open until 22:00, on other days - until 21:00, on the third - until 20:30.

This year we decided to surprise our daughter and take her to Disneyland in Paris. In my opinion, the age of 7-9 years is optimal for the first visit to the park, the child already perceives what he sees more consciously, is already quite physically ready for long walks (our day in the park was at least 12 hours) and is ready for a large flow of information and emotions received.

We were 2 days - one day in each park, but I will say that this is not enough! We have done a lot these days, but there is still a lot left uncovered, although Disney parks are the place where something is constantly happening and it is never boring, there is always something to do and something to see.

We started our walks with a view of Buffolo Bill's wild west at Disney Village. In order to enter the territory of the Village, you do not need to buy a ticket, in fact, this is a zone of accumulation of shops and restaurants outside the park, plus a cinema and a show. The assortment of shops and prices largely repeat the shops of the park, from interesting restaurants one can note Rainforest cafe with an interior like in the jungle.

There are 2 performances a day at 18.30 and 21.00, it lasts all 1.5 hours, the show is in a mixture of English and French, but even without knowing the language, everything is clear. Before the performance, the audience is entertained on stage by Goofy and a small orchestra. The entire hall is divided into 4 zones: blue, yellow, green, red. Depending on which zone you are sitting in, they give out a straw hat with a ribbon of the corresponding color, which you then take home as a souvenir!

I will say right away, if possible, take the red or yellow sectors, the main idea is just between them. There is also a division into the 1st and 2nd belts, i.e. the first 2 rows are the 1st belt, 3,4,5th is the second - tickets are a little cheaper there. I advise you to take the 2nd belt: the dust from the arena does not reach, on the lower rows the children's view is blocked by handrails, but everything is perfectly visible from above. As the name of the show suggests, the action takes place in the Wild West.

Cowboys, Indians, bison, buffaloes, horses and, of course, the most important Disney characters - Mickey, Minnie, Goofy and the chipmunks brothers participate in the performance.

Cowboys shoot, show the ability to wield a lasso, lasso horses, Indians dance - in general, everything is very entertaining and colorful. In addition to watching the show, they also feed you for 1.5 hours, so it turns out that you also have dinner. The food is supposed to be American, from the wild west: beans are very spicy, barbecue ribs are also spicy, potatoes and chicken legs are normal, ice cream for dessert. All this is poured without restrictions and washed down with beer, cola or water of your choice. The second time, I probably wouldn’t go, but once it’s definitely worth going as a warm-up before visiting the parks - I highly recommend it.

Well, now about the parks themselves. I recommend starting with Disneyland Park.

This fairy park with a castle, with attractions for both children and adults. The main "adult" attractions are located in Discoveryland and Frontierland, the main children's attractions are in Fantasyland, but you will not find any super-extreme slides - this is not here.

From the very beginning, you find yourself on Central Street, made in the style of an American town of the 18th and 19th centuries. You can walk to the central castle, or you can drive by car, double-decker bus or by horse-drawn tram. You can ride a real train around the park - there are 4 stops in different parts of the park, a full circle takes about an hour.

First of all, we went to Discoveryland, took a ride on the rides of Baz Lightyear - you have to shoot from a special laser pistol at targets, and prevent Emperor Zurg from taking over the galaxy - we liked it very much! Orbitron - regular carousel, stood in line for quite a long time, because the throughput of the attraction is small. Autopsy - driving cars in a set circle, even a child can handle it, everything is done in such a way that it is impossible to move to the side, everything is within a given trajectory.

We also went to Captain Nemo's submarine, pretty nice interiors, my daughter was scared by an octopus in the porthole. We did not go on more extreme slides, and on the Star Tour too - we are not fans of Star Wars. Then we went to Fantasyland. Here are all the rides for children, cute, calm, without extreme sports. The entire Fantasy zone is made in the form of a cute village, gingerbread houses, colorful. Here we stood in queues for a while and rode cups, boats, a train and a carousel.

There are a lot of girls in princess dresses, if you haven’t taken your own, then you can buy it in the nearest store, but the simplest dress will cost 50 euros. Throughout the park, you can meet characters from cartoons, they are happy to communicate with children, take pictures and sign autographs.

There is a separate pavilion with princesses, but it takes a long time to stand in line for them - from 1 to 2 hours, and you will meet only one princess! - which one is written on the sign at the entrance. We did not stand and waste time, we had booked a table in the evening at Cinderella's restaurant, where the princesses themselves come. My daughter was very interested in collecting autographs, for this we bought a special book, on one page the characters signed, on the second there was a special pocket for a photo.

In addition to the rides in the park, several times a day, performances are held at different venues, they are very colorful and you should also pay attention to them, especially if you are with a child.

This year, Disneyland Paris turned 25 years old and in honor of this, 2 different performances were held on a special stage in front of the castle. The main Disney characters from different cartoons took part in the first performance, the Waltz of the Princesses and Princes took part in the second performance.

It is better to take a place in front of the stage in advance in order to have good review. It is very good that everyone is sitting in front of the stage, even the children can see well. But be sure to take what you will sit on - a backpack, a bag, a folding rug, foreigners do not bother and sit on stones, well, decide for yourself, we did not risk our health. In addition to the fact that the performances are bright, colorful and musical, while you watch them, the child can relax, because even an adult is hard on his feet all day.

And one more action, in my opinion, must-see - a parade on main street. We had it at 17.30, I also recommend taking places 40 minutes before the start, you will rest and be in the forefront. Platforms ride to the music, Disney characters dance, some come up and hug - Wendy from Peter Pan came up to her daughter and hugged her - naturally, the child has a sea of \u200b\u200bdelight! Very bright and memorable performance.

And just after the parade, we had a table booked at Cinderella's restaurant (Auberge de Cindrillon). This is a restaurant where you have lunch / dinner and princesses come to talk to you. They take turns going around all the tables, talking with the children, taking pictures, leaving an autograph. Usually 3 princesses + 1 prince and 2 more mice from the cartoon about Cinderella come.

In our case, in connection with the celebration of the anniversary of the park, some changes were made, 4 princesses and 2 mice came to us. What kind of princesses will be can be found out only at the time of the visit, but one of them will definitely be Cinderella - this is her restaurant. My daughter loves Rapunzel very, very much, she even wore Rapunzel's dress and shoes, and we were lucky that we met her at the restaurant. Happiness simply knew no bounds!

In total, we spent 2 hours in the restaurant, we were in no hurry, we talked with all the princesses and hugged enough. I must say that this restaurant is expensive, the food is so-so, but the main highlight of the restaurant is the princesses. Here you have to decide to stand in line in the park for one princess or pay for dinner and get 4 princesses. You need to book a table well in advance 60 days in advance, orders are accepted only by phone, the restaurant is very popular, so places quickly run out.

At the very end of the day, before the closing of the park, there is also a light show with fireworks, projections of cartoons on the walls of the castle - very colorful, enchanting and memorable for a long time. But we decided not to stay, because our daughter was tired during the day, and so were we, and we had another day in the park ahead of us.

The second day we decided to start with Disney Studio.

In the morning, while the queues were small, we took a ride on flying carpets - usually a long queue, because the throughput of the attraction is very low. Then we rode on cars from Cartoon Cars. Also on the spring dog from Toy Story. We also continued to collect autographs from Disney characters, of which there are plenty in the Studio. Be sure to visit the attraction Ratatouille. It is made according to the cartoon of the same name, as if you become a mouse and move around the kitchen, of course, everyone is trying to catch you - a very funny attraction.

And just after that, we went to have lunch at the Bistro Remi restaurant. The restaurant is very colorful, made based on the same Ratatouille. At the entrance, the waiter informs you that when you cross the threshold, you will turn into a little mouse and everything around will become big. Of course, no one turns into a mouse, but all the objects around are really big. A huge bottle, a colander lamp, huge spoons, forks and plates, chairs made from champagne corks - you must visit this place at least once.

You still need to book a table by phone at the reservation service, you just won’t get in from the street, as a rule, there are no places.

As the queues for the rides got unnecessarily long again after lunch, we turned our attention to the performances. We visited the Disney Junior performance - based on the educational program The Mickey Mouse Club. Before the start, the children were entertained by Sofia the First and Jake the Pirate - they danced with the children, clapped their hands and something else.

The performance itself takes place in the hall, the children sit on the carpet - this is something like a puppet show, they speak English or French. My daughter understood everything without my translation.

Another show that I consider a must-see is Mikey and the Magician (Mikey and Magician). Takes place in the big concert hall, landing is free, whoever had time sat down, but, despite the huge queue, everyone who wanted to fit in (when we got up at the very tail, we sadly thought that we probably wouldn’t have enough space). This is a small musical for 30 minutes with songs from different cartoons: Cinderella, Beauty and the Beast, Frozen, The Lion King. Very beautiful scenery, fantastic costumes - this is a show of the highest level!

In addition to these shows, there are also short performances with stormtroopers from the Star Wars movie, and a performance with the heroes of the Super Family cartoon (we didn’t even go to them anymore, we didn’t have the strength). Those. even if the queues for the rides are long and you don’t want to waste time, there is always something interesting going on in the park - you definitely won’t be bored.

We spent the rest of the day in the main Park, we didn’t watch the parade a second time, but took advantage of the fact that the people subsided and the queues became 2 times smaller, we swept a few more times on the rides we liked.

In the evening we had a table reservation at the Inventions restaurant. This is another restaurant where Disney characters come to. But if only princesses come to Cinderella's restaurant, then classic heroes come to Inventions and Mickey Mouse himself always comes - everyone in the park calls him Boss :-).

This restaurant is very good Buffet, everything is very tasty and a lot of heroes come. They take their time, entertain the children, come up several times a night, take pictures with pleasure, sign autographs, the atmosphere is very friendly and relaxed. We really liked it, I would love to come here again, although the price tag is high, but the sparkle in children's eyes is definitely worth it!

We spent in the parks 2 very long days Everything was wonderful, we got a lot of pleasure and emotions. Once again I am convinced that Disneyland is a holiday for everyone, not only for children.

We spent the next 2 days in Paris. For a child of 7 years old, we chose children's entertainment, we didn’t go to museums - this will be our program in the future, in 3-4 years.

To explore the city, passed from Arc de Triomphe down the Champs-Elysées, took a ride on the Ferris wheel at Place de la Concorde.

The wheel raises very high, the line with arches from the Louvre through the Champs Elysees to La Defense, the Eiffel Tower, the Secreker and the Seine is remarkably visible. Each rider makes 2 full circles, the cabins are closed, so the wind does not interfere. Further along Rivoli Street we reached the Pont des Arts, where they wanted to hang a lock, but alas, all the locks were cut off the bridge and all the fences were replaced with plastic ones, so there is simply nowhere to hook the lock.

We climbed the Eiffel Tower - well, how could it be without it?

Tickets were bought in advance via the Internet, sales open 90 days in advance. I recommend buying in advance, because in summer the queues at the ticket office can take more than one hour, and then you also have to queue for the elevators at the tower itself. There is a very serious control at the entrance, everything piercing objects and locks are removed from backpacks and not returned, they are not allowed with a scooter, even if you fold it, and there are no lockers nearby - so pay attention to this.

We climbed to the 3rd floor, on the second floor it is already high and quite windy, so it's worth bringing windbreakers. The third floor has a closed and an open part. In the closed part, there are photos of cities in a circle and the distance to them is indicated - Moscow is also there!

I highly recommend the Paris Zoo (Parc zoologique de Paris). Tickets are not cheap, but the zoo is great. All the enclosures are thought out very well, everywhere there are huge panoramic windows, the animals are very clearly visible, the penguins generally swim nearby. You will not find any small animals, the main large ones are collected: rhinos, zebras, giraffes, lions and many more who are clearly visible and interesting to children.

Periodically, different cages undergo a feeding process and at the same time employees talk about animals, but all this is in French. By the way, you can’t ride a scooter around the territory, you just can’t carry it nearby either, you can carry it in your hands. Very close to the Zoo there is a stunningly beautiful park with a huge pond where many swans swim, but you can’t feed them either, but you can rent a boat.

Well, perhaps the most interesting "childish" place in Paris is the city of science La Villette. It is located on the territory of a huge park where you can spend the whole day, there are a lot of various playgrounds covered and open, a canal where you can ride a boat, and it's just nice to have a picnic and lie on the lawn.

The city of science is several zones united under one roof, where children can study the structure of an anthill, how plants grow, how a movie is made, how electricity works and much more. Everything can and should be touched, twisted, twirled, studied and learned. Sessions start on time, one session is 1.5 hours. As it turned out - this is quite a bit, we managed to go only half.

Then we went to the dome Cinema Geode. From the outside, it looks like a huge mirror ball. Inside is a cinema with a huge screen. Sessions every hour, films are all different. We watched a movie about glacial period, about mammoths, saber-toothed tigers and primitive people. Feelings are pretty weird. On the one hand, you are immersed in the film, on the other hand, you have to turn your head in all directions, because the screen is around. I had a constant feeling that I was about to fall down, although this is simply impossible. In general, I recommend.

Actually, this is all that we had time for 2 days in the city. We did not set ourselves the task of embracing the immensity, the most important thing was to spend time for your own pleasure.

  • To visit this giant amusement park is perhaps every child's dream. And even an adult. For those who have not yet had time to have fun at Disneyland, here are life hacks and tips from our author, stylist and mother of two children Ella Makovey: what to prepare for, how much money you need and how to save money on a trip without harming your mood.

Somehow under New Year our 10-year-old daughter thought: “I want to go to Disneyland!” In fairness, I note that we have already been to Disneyland a couple of times. But the daughter was then still quite small, and therefore the entrance to the "serious" rides such as the roller coaster Big Thunder Mountain was closed to her.

Then Bodo Schaefer's book "A Dog Named Mani" caught the eye of our daughter. And the girl began to dream by all the rules. The walls of her room were now decorated with colorful posters of Sleeping Beauty's castle and Disney characters, and a green tea tin was transformed into a piggy bank with the words "Disneyland" and the amount required.

That is, all this demonstrated to us, parents, the seriousness and awareness of our daughter's dream. Therefore, when we began to discuss what gift to give the girl for her birthday, we unanimously decided: tickets to Disneyland.

    Tickets

Buying tickets to any of the network's amusement parks is not a problem, even if you live on another continent. The most reasonable way is to purchase them on the official website of the park.

It is better to visit the site in advance. Firstly, the tickets booked on it are valid only after a few days. That is, you can not pay and immediately go. And secondly, studying the site will help you navigate the visit program: understand what these or other attractions are, what restrictions on the age and height of children may arise, etc. For example, do you want to visit both parks or do you just need parts with attractions? Ticket prices may vary depending on the season. But in any case, tickets on the site are cheaper than at the box office of the park. Our "savings" amounted to 30 euros per ticket. That is 120 euros for a family of 4.

A few years ago it was possible to arrive at four o'clock in the evening and buy a ticket at the box office with a decent discount for half a day. Now there is no such tariff. So even if you only want to watch Heroes Parade before closing, you still have to pay full price.

    How to get there

Disneyland is not located in Paris itself, but in the town of Marne-la-Vallee. It is about an hour from the capital of France. We traveled around the country by car. However, if for some reason you do not want to rent a car, you can take a bus or train. Railroad station located within walking distance from the main entrance to the park.

A small life hack: for those who come to Disneyland by car, there is paid parking. In principle, there are many places, and you can always find a free one. But! The SNCF station also has a multi-level covered car park. It is located closer to the park and costs a little less than the Disney one. You can leave your car there.

    Clothes matter

Don't expect to walk around Disneyland for an hour or two! This event will take you at least 6 - 8 hours. So dress nicely, comfortably and according to the weather. It is best to choose shoes that are closed with lacing, and if you buy orthopedic insoles, you will not lose. Your feet will thank you by the end of the day. In summer, do not forget about sun protection: cream, glasses, hat. By the way, on the rides you will be asked to take off your glasses and caps. Therefore, think in advance where you will hide them. Clutches, shopping bags and just packages are not an option. You risk losing your treasures on a sharp turn. But the backpack is a good choice.

    Where to eat

There are three good news and three not so good news. The first of the good ones is that there are many cafes and restaurants in the park. And they work constantly, and not as is customary in France, where at 14:00 all restaurants close until the evening. But here is the first bad news - queues. If you have not booked a place in a restaurant in advance, then do not expect to dine from 12 to 15 hours. You will spend this time waiting for a free table. And when you wait, the second bad news will be waiting for you - the quality of service. It leaves much to be desired here.

Second good news– in the summer there are carts with ice cream and drinks at every step. It was very helpful. Our birthday girl “unpacked” her piggy bank and happily treated us to ice cream - 4 euros per cone. And then the third bad news - prices. They are everywhere as joyless as ice cream.

But there is also more good news. You can bring your own food and drinks to the park! Therefore, if you fill your backpack with snacks, chips and sandwiches, no one will take them from you at the entrance. And you can eat them anytime. But until you eat, you will carry a backpack with you. There are no lockers.

queues, fast pass and other nuances

According to statistics, more than 12 million people visit Disneyland every year. Divide this number by the number of days in a year. And then even without taking into account high season” you will understand that Disneyland is not a place where you can be alone. Long queues for attractions, restaurants and toilets are inevitable.

The main park is geographically divided into several thematic groups. There are attractions for the little ones accompanied by their parents, older children and those who are already taller than 120 cm. It is clear that we were interested in just the third option - all these crazy trolleys, catapults and other tests for the nervous system and vestibular apparatus.

And there is such a life hack called Fast Pass. The bottom line is that you scan your ticket in a special machine next to the attraction, and you are given a ticket indicating the time when you can go to the attraction “without a queue”. The idea is good. But, for example, this time can be three or four hours later. Just in time for the Parade of Heroes you planned to watch. And you either walk these three hours in the park, and then return, or you still stand in a live line for 40 minutes and move on. Least of all people on the rides at lunchtime and after 18 hours, when many are already reaching for the exit. So my advice is: go against the current!

    About money

A trip to Disneyland is not budget holiday. In half a day you will lower the cost week tour in Turkish all inclusive. But once you've made up your mind, be mentally prepared for it. Don't draw a calculator on your forehead that will make your kids choke on Coke. If you want your family to remember this day as exciting and happy, “turn on” the child. Be surprised, rejoice, joke and play pranks! Many families buy the same branded T-shirts with the words "Happiest Family Day" or with some funny slogans. And headbands with Mickey Mouse ears are worn by every second person.

    Happy birthday, princess!

We decided to celebrate our birthday in a restaurant. But do not eat a three-course dinner there, but get by with a "dessert" option. Ordered cake and drinks. You should have seen the delight of our birthday girl when the whole team of waiters brought out a signature Disney cake with candles and sang the song “Happy birthday, Princess!” It was so cool! And then we went for a walk again.

There are many shops in the park selling souvenirs, from mugs and lollipops to clothes and toys the size of your children. Another life hack from our family: let the kids spend their pocket money. We always practice this method during the holidays. First, the money is no longer yours. You gave them away. Everyone, stay calm. Secondly, it is clearly stipulated that spending does not go beyond this amount. And children do not pull your sleeve every time they see the next nonsense. Thirdly, having our own money surprisingly increases the consumer awareness of our children. After all, “your hard-earned money”, which you saved up for several months, is one more fad!

Having rolled and walked a lot, our birthday girl took us to souvenir shops. It took her a long time to choose the “most-most” gift for herself. All we had to do was smile and nod approvingly. As a result, the choice fell on the largest Minnie Mouse toy. When we confirmed that her daughter could buy it and yes, the toy would fit in a car, the girl went to the checkout and paid for the purchase with the dignity of the Duchess of Cambridge.

As we left the park, our daughter shared, "It's the coolest birthday I've ever had!" And in a whisper: “Mom, you know, I still have money left, but I’m so glad that I don’t want anything else!”

Well, thank God! The holiday was a success!

The famous amusement park turned 20 years old

These days, one of the most famous amusement parks in the world - Disneyland Paris - hosts celebrations dedicated to the twentieth anniversary. In honor of the birthday, a luxurious show was arranged in the park with the participation of stars, life-size puppets and new technology.

The main celebrations were held at Disneyland last Sunday, April 1st. A show was arranged in the park, which amazed both the youngest visitors and their parents with its beauty. Leading entertainment program world-famous stars became the legendary football player Zinedine Zidane and actress Salma Hayek. Together with them, all the famous Disney characters took part in the show - from Mickey Mouse to Peter Pan. The Magic of Disney parade allowed the guests of the event to see all their favorite cartoons in one place, but the most impressive moment of the show was the laser projection of Disney characters on the Sleeping Beauty castle. At that moment, even the most skeptical adults could believe that the fairy tale could come to life.

Did not leave the guests of Disneyland indifferent and grandiose fireworks. The towers illuminated by numerous multi-colored volleys, flowers and stars opening in the sky, original lighting - all this greatly increased the feeling of the holiday. Singing fountains, beautiful decoration and other pleasant "little things" could not but affect the mood of the guests.

Celebrations on the occasion of the twentieth anniversary of Disneyland Paris were not limited to one colorful show on April 1st. Festive events can be visited throughout the State Duma. So, it is planned that soon in the park it will be possible to take part in special excursion, allowing you to look behind the scenes of the music hall and chat with the main Disney character - Mickey Mouse.

Disneyland Paris opened on April 12, 1992. During its existence, it has experienced both ups and downs. So, in the early and mid-2000s, there were rumors about its unprofitability and even that the park was planned to be closed. But already in 2008, it became clear that all this had no basis - Disneyland was recognized as the most visited entertainment center in Europe and one of the most profitable Disney projects. Today, Disneyland is considered one of the budget-forming elements of the French economy, significantly replenishing its treasury with crowds of tourists who want to give a fairy tale to their children and return to childhood at least for a day.

Disneyland Paris is located 35 kilometers from the capital of France. Its area is about 200 hectares. The park is divided into two parts - Disneyland itself and the Walt Disney Studios. The prototype of the Parisian entertainment complex became the famous California Disneyland. There are 42 rides in the park in total.

Disneyland Paris is divided into several themed areas. At the Walt Disney Studios, you can get to know the film industry from the inside: see how various films are filmed. natural phenomena how the costumers and illuminators work. In the Catastrophe quarry, visitors to the steam are given the opportunity to get to the very epicenter natural disaster: from pouring rain to the tornado.

History buffs will appreciate the Main Street area of Disneyland Paris. It was created in the spirit of the American province of the beginning of the last century. Stylized trains depart from this quarter to all corners of the park.
Frontierland is another themed area of the park. It is dedicated to the development of the Wild West in the 19th century and allows visitors to tickle their nerves: here you can test your courage on a roller coaster or in an ominous room of horror.

Adventure lovers in Disneyland Paris immediately head to the area called Adventureland. Story

The grand opening of the first Disneyland took place on July 17, 1955 in Anaheim (California, USA). This amusement park was created by American actor, animator, businessman and father of two daughters Walt Disney. While his little ones had fun in the park on carousels and swings, he patiently sat on a bench. Constant inactivity prompted him to think about creating a place where adults could relax on a par with children.

Disney originally planned to use an amusement park site next to his studio in Burbank. He soon realized that it was too small. Hired designers and consultants helped to determine the required size of the plot of land, taking into account all the wishes of the customer.

In 1953, the layout of the future amusement park was ready, and Disney began to search for the most suitable place. Such was the area of 160 acres (65 hectares) of former orange groves, which belonged to the agricultural community of Anaheim, 25 miles southeast of Los Angeles.

On the site acquired in 1954, construction began, which ended in July of the following year.

$17 million was spent on the construction of the first amusement park.

The opening of Disneyland was not entirely successful. Get into the territory amusement park could only be done by special invitation. But the scammers sold several thousand fake invitations, which caused the park to become overcrowded. Food and drinks ran out quickly. Women's heels got stuck in some places on the dry pavement. The steamboat "Mark Twain" almost turned over from the number of passengers exceeding the limit.

The opening ceremony was hosted by future US President Ronald Reagan.

The first visitors to the park, who freely rode all the attractions the day before its opening, were the families of workers - the builders of Disneyland. So the cartoonist expressed his gratitude to them.
