Water temperature in lake heviz online. Who can benefit from thermal water? Indications for balneological baths

Why are the joints affected?

Etiological treatment, acting directly on the cause of the disease, is considered the most effective. Doctors have long noticed that eating food depleted in vitamins leads to the development of secondary osteoarthritis.

An unbalanced, unhealthy diet causes metabolic disturbances in the body. Obesity increases the load on the joints, causes pathological changes and causes

  • deforming arthrosis,
  • osteochondrosis of the joints,
  • spondylosis.

The physical factors of the external environment also have an impact on the joints. The adverse effects of drafts, dampness, and cold are well known. It is noted that in northern countries, inflammatory diseases of the joints are more common than in countries with a warm climate.

Among the causes of diseases of the joints are also distinguished:

  • infection,
  • allergy
  • diseases of the endocrine glands,
  • injury,
  • circulatory disorders.

Treatment of joints in Hungary on Lake Heviz for men and women

Scientists have tried to explain why gender has an impact on the predominant lesion of men in one form of joint diseases, women in another, but none of the hypotheses can be considered proven.

Meanwhile, clinical observations daily indicate to the doctor such an influence. Thus, women suffer from rheumatoid arthritis with damage to the joints of the extremities 3-5 times more often than men, and another form of this disease with damage to the spine (ankylosing spondylitis), men suffer 10 times more often than women.

Arthrosis of the small joints of the hands in women is 10 times more common than in men. Men suffer more from gout, hemophilic arthrosis, and women from endocrine arthropathies.

Hungary, Heviz – treatment of joints depending on age

Age plays a significant role in the development of one form or another of joint damage. Children and adolescents are more likely to develop rheumatic fever. People of mature age (30-50 years) - rheumatoid arthritis. Elderly patients are characterized by osteoarthritis and other degenerative-dystrophic diseases.

Reviews about the treatment of joints in Hungary on about. Heviz: what makes it attractive?

All year round people flock to it beautiful place located close to another famous lake— Balaton. Six kilometers from the city of Keszthely is the Hungarian balneo-mud resort Heviz.

Summers are hot and winters are mild. The water temperature in summer is 33-35 degrees Celsius, in winter 27-29 degrees Celsius. That's why bathing season does not stop. Water has healing properties, especially in relation to the joints. The same can be said about weakly radioactive peat mud.

The organs of movement and support on Lake Heviz are literally transformed. The peripheral nervous system returns to normal, blood circulation in the limbs improves.

It is known that the central nervous system and nerve pathways form a single motor chain with the joints. Balneo- and mud baths of Heviz eliminate malfunctions in the work of any link and restore the body's homeostasis. After a few days of treatment of the joints in a sanatorium on Lake Heviz, the manifestations of chronic chronic ailments may disappear. Inflammatory processes in the joints are well eliminated due to the high content of healing substances in the water.

The main contingent of visitors to the lake and bath buildings are people with problems of the musculoskeletal system and nerve endings. However, the healing effect is also noted for rheumatism, varicose veins, gynecological and skin diseases.

Contraindications

The healing lake in Hungary heals joints well, but is not recommended for:

  • malignant tumors,
  • bronchial asthma,
  • thyroid diseases,
  • thrombosis,
  • pregnancy.

The fact is that water contains sulfur, lime, radium emanation (radon). An increased radioactive background contributes to the production of hormones, an increase in the number of which is not indicated for all conditions of the body.

Water has a very strong effect on the body, so the Hungarian doctors individually select the duration of the procedures for everyone. One bath takes from 10 to 40 minutes. Total time stay in the healing lake during the day should not exceed two hours.

“The hope of the future world is hidden in the water, and the beneficial properties of the waters are no less diverse than the taste,” said Seneca two thousand years ago, when the lake of Heviz was already known to the Roman legionaries for its healing properties. The largest thermal lake on the planet - Lake Heviz - is not only a huge bath, but also a drinking pump room, as well as an inhalation open sky. In a huge funnel at a depth of 38 m, the mysterious Genius aquaticus mixes the streams of warm and cold waters exactly in such quantities that these waters remain pleasant to the taste and at the same time are a cure for many diseases. Temperatures up to 33-35 ° C in summer and 23 ° C in winter and low salinity of the water make swimming in the lake very comfortable.

Besides:

  • uncompensated, hypothyroidism,
  • subcompensated,
  • unstable arterial hypertension,
  • but not beach holiday!

When swimming in Heviz, be sure to move. Movements in warm water contribute to the relaxation of spasmodic muscles, expansion of skin capillaries, active breathing and, consequently, a more intensive flow of useful substances from Hévíz water through the skin and respiratory tract.

Even if you are a good swimmer, periodically swim in Lake Heviz with a circle, hanging on it. This kind of vertical traction is useful for diseases of the spine and joints.

Don't try to swim fast in the lake. Despite the slight mineralization, the waters of Lake Heviz are “heavy” in feel, and the procedure is quite stressful, especially in the hot season.

The active components of Heviz waters give an additional load on the body. It should be borne in mind that the duration of therapeutic bathing without additional recommendations from the attending physician should not exceed 1 hour a day, and for people with diseases of the circulatory system - 30 minutes.

Patients with neurovascular diseases should be careful in the summer, since hyperinsolation and hyperthermia can provoke the development of a vascular crisis in them.

For patients who have had a myocardial infarction in the past, liquidators of an accident on Chernobyl nuclear power plant and other risk groups best seasons for recovery - autumn and spring.

The small Hungarian town of Heviz is known throughout the world as a bathing city. Both in winter and in summer tourists from many countries of the world come here. They go to plunge into the waters of the world's largest thermal reservoir, Lake Heviz, known for its healing properties since the middle of the 17th century.

Lake Heviz is located at a distance of 200 kilometers from Budapest. This lake is considered a natural mud bath of volcanic origin. It has the shape of a funnel. The climate in the resort is moderate: warm summer, long autumn, early spring, wet winter.

The thermal water at the resort is slightly radioactive and contains sulfur, radon, bicarbonate, calcium salts, thorium and carbon dioxide. The bacterial flora of the silt secretes a weak antibiotic, which is why pathogenic bacteria are not found in the lake. The water in the lake has the strongest healing properties in Europe, and is considered more aggressive than in other resorts in Hungary. Such water treats diseases of the musculoskeletal system, has a beneficial effect on the body after injuries. Water improves the skin condition of people suffering from psoriasis, mouthwash treats periodontitis. Also mineral springs Heviz are drinkable: they heal chronic diseases gastrointestinal tract. Therapeutic mud of plant origin, which lies on the bottom of the lake in a meter layer, contains many minerals, hormonal substances (estrogens) and iodine.

The area of the lake is 4.5 hectares, the deepest point is 38 meters, but you can safely swim near the shore. Three springs that feed the lake are located in the under-lake cave. Mixing, they deliver water with a temperature of 39.5°C, in the summer months the water temperature is 33°C-38°C, and in the coldest months it does not fall below 26°C. The water in the lake changes completely every 28 hours. Due to the high temperature in the lake, there is practically no animal world. In the upper layers of the water there are fish 2 centimeters in size. In winter, when the temperature drops, steam rises above the lake. locals say: "The lake smokes."

Lake Heviz is unique both in size and in the chemical composition of the water. In Europe the only one, and on the planet the second.

The springs that feed the lake are located in a lakeside cave with a diameter of 18 m. Two thermal springs with a water temperature of +42°С and +38°С, and one mineral, with a water temperature of +17°С, here they are mixed.

The lake has the shape of a funnel, the depth of which reaches 2 m. In the summer months, the water temperature is +33 +34°С, and in the coldest winter months it does not fall below +26°С. In winter, when the air temperature drops, steam rises above the lake.

The water in the lake is completely renewed in 28 hours and always remains clean.

coming from the source hot water, breaking on the surface into radial jets, slowly rotates clockwise. Because of this constant mixing, the water temperature is the same at all points in the lake. Cooled from the surface - circulates down, and hot water from the depths rises. In the lake, counter streams and clouds of steam are formed, enveloping Heviz, due to which the water temperature in it is approximately uniform throughout the space.

Lake Heviz is surrounded by reserved forest with an area of 50 hectares, which provides the resort with a special, unique healing microclimate.

Silt, which lies in a multi-meter layer at the bottom of the thermal lake, has unusual healing properties. The bacterial flora of the sludge secretes a weak antibiotic, so there are no pathogenic bacteria in the water.

Biological studies have shown that there are hormonal substances in the mud covering the bottom of Heviz with a meter layer estrogens. But these studies were carried out much later. It turned out that sulfur, carbon dioxide, radon, which are contained in water, play an important role in the treatment of diseases of the musculoskeletal system. Water procedures and mud applications are also useful in rheumatic and gynecological diseases, disorders of the venous circulation, inflammation of the nerves.

Water lilies of an unusual shape and color, reminiscent of exotic countries. These plants were brought from India by a botanist. He decided to plant them in a warm lake, and the experiment was a success. Over time, water lilies became a kind of hallmark of Heviz and were even depicted on the coat of arms of the city.
Heviz owes much of his fame to the Hungarian aristocrat Festetic, who was seriously engaged in the development of local infrastructure - he built baths and baths. And, importantly, he spread information about the healing lake among his fellow citizens.

In the treatment at the Lake Heviz resort, physiological, natural healing factors are used: a unique microclimate, therapeutic thermal water and peat mud.

In addition to therapeutic baths, the thermal water of Heviz is recommended for drinking with insufficient stomach acidity and chronic gastritis.

A pump room has been opened on the territory of the State Clinic, where everyone can get mineral water (water type hydrocarbonate-sulfate-chloride calcium-magnesium)

Please note that at the Europa Fit 4* superior hotel in the Heviz resort there is an opportunity to take a drinking cure based on such well-known Hungarian medicinal waters as Mira, Hunyadi Janos, Ferenc Jozsef, Paradis ”, “Salvus”, which favorably affect the treatment of many diseases of the digestive system.

Consultations on drinking medicinal waters are carried out by the hotel's therapists. This service included in the already compiled treatment packages.

Therapeutic mud of Lake Heviz

One of the highly effective healing factors of the Heviz resort are muds highly saturated with mineral substances, which cover the bottom of the lake with more than a meter layer.

They include organic substances - products of humification of plant residues, mineral compounds, the elements of which come from traso-dolomites and Pannonian limestone, in chemical composition largely repeating the composition of lake water, hormone- and vitamin-like substances. The microflora of the mud produces antibiotics in small quantities, due to which pathogenic bacteria and blue-green algae do not occur in the lake. Another distinguishing feature of Heviz muds is the absence of an unpleasant odor, which makes them especially suitable for therapeutic wraps and compresses.

Bathing in Lake Heviz

The healing water of Lake Heviz allows healthy people to swim for no more than 1.5 hours, and for rheumatic people - no more than half an hour.

Note: thermal waters for beach swimming are unsuitable due to a pronounced biological effect. A long stay in the water of Lake Heviz causes an increased load on the heart and circulatory system.

The effect of Hévíz Hungary's water is achieved by a combo: the temperature of the water and the healing mud and gas. The bottom of Heviz is 80% composed of inorganic substances that cover the bottom of the lake: sodium and calcium. Millions of gas bubbles and particles of dirt in the water, nicknamed “Hévíz dandruff”, create the effect of a micro-massage of the skin. Bubble gas covering the skin on the body penetrates the body and has a healing effect.

Procedures:

  • balneotherapy based on the healing water of Lake Heviz occupies an important place among medical procedures.
  • underwater bathtub used for various diseases of the spine.
  • hydromassage- modern form of underwater massage: improves blood circulation, relaxes muscles; the simultaneous use of aromatherapy relieves nervous tension.
  • different kinds massages: therapeutic, sports, relaxing massage
  • mud applications: Due to the high content of trace elements and heat-retaining ability, the healing mud of Lake Heviz is used for the treatment of diseases of the musculoskeletal system and chronic gynecological diseases (exclusively on prescription).
  • contrast baths for hands and feet improve blood circulation, the galvanic bath has a beneficial effect in case of paralysis of nerve endings, and also has an analgesic and muscle-relaxing effect.
  • cryotherapy(cooling therapy) is used for inflammation of the joints, as well as for injuries.
  • therapeutic compresses indicated for wear of the joints, give a good analgesic effect.
  • physiotherapy- one of the main procedures not only for diseases of the musculoskeletal system, but also in case of violation of the respiratory system and blood circulation.
  • magnetotherapy mainly recommended against insomnia and also for headaches.
  • mineral bath recommended to improve blood circulation, as well as high blood pressure.

Heviz(Hungarian Hévíz) - a city in western Hungary who grew up around the largest thermal lake in the world, located at the southwestern foothills of the Bakony mountains, 6 km from the southwestern tip of Lake Balaton.

Lake Heviz- the world's largest natural biologically active thermal lake - is surrounded by a protected forest area of 50 hectares.
The oldest and most famous healing lake in Hungary, according to the evidence of the Roman Empire, can be proud of more than 2000 years of history. Classical in our today's understanding, the healing course in Heviz also has more than 200 years of history. Spread over an area of 4.4 hectares, the lake is fed by a source of water gushing from a depth of 38 meters. Due to the high power of the source, the water in the lake is completely renewed within 48 hours.

At the heart of the local balneotherapy, of course, lake water, which owes its healing properties to the equal saturation with mineral salts and gases: there is carbon dioxide, and sulfur, and calcium, and magnesium, and bicarbonate, and even a slight content of the inert gas radon. Thick layer covering the bottom of the reservoir peat therapeutic mud , the consistency of which is somewhat thinner than usual due to silt deposits, is distinguished by a high concentration of dissolved minerals, including reduced sulfates, as well as radium salts.
The special composition of the therapeutic lake water and the healing ingredients of peat mud dissolved in it provide ample opportunities for the use of physiotherapy. However, the use of local thermal water for treatment in itself means a complex therapeutic effect. On the one hand, hydrostatic pressure and multi-vector movement in the water help to optimize blood circulation, on the other hand, the neutral temperature of the water environment turns bathing into a pleasant, relaxing and energizing ritual.
The water of the spring makes its way through the 7-meter thickness of peat that covers the bottom of the lake, and the chemical and organic compounds contained in it make the skin supple and silky. A high concentration of mineral compounds, including sulfur compounds, contributes to the normalization of metabolism in cartilage tissues and the improvement of the condition of cartilage cells, which determines the efficiency of the joints. Natural weak radon radiation has a positive effect on the body's self-healing mechanisms, as well as on immunity by stimulating the secretion of a hormone responsible for the activity of the adrenal glands, and thus the body is able to cope with inflammation and pain at the expense of its own resources. Wherein medicinal water lakes cure not only rheumatic diseases. For example, by stimulating the production of estrogen, it significantly affects the progress in the treatment of a number of gynecological disorders.

The resort is State Rheumatological Clinic St. Andrew's Rheumatology Hospital. The clinic provides general diagnostics, orthopedics, neuropathology, therapy, urology, dentistry, otorhinolaryngology, ophthalmology. The resort's doctors strongly recommend that you undergo an examination at the place of residence, and have the examination data on hand (in Russian or English, German). The diagnostic base of the Rheumatological Clinic allows you to conduct any necessary research, but this will require time and additional payment. All procedures are assigned individually.

Most of resort hotels has its own medical and diagnostic facilities. The thermal water in the hotels and the healing water of the lake come from the same source layer. IN SPA-centers of hotels Heviz - a wide range of wellness programs and procedures - Thai massage, ayurveda, saunas, roman, Turkish bath, special pools for Kneipp therapy. In addition to therapeutic and wellness procedures, the hotels have well-equipped beauty centers, weight correction is carried out according to the Buchinger method (at the Carbon Hotel). The resort also offers high-level dental services (therapy, surgery, prosthetics).

Created at the resort barrier-free environment for patients with handicapped movement. Baths and pools are equipped with special lifts, wide corridors and special rooms are designed for patients in wheelchairs.

The hotels of the Heviz resort accept parents with children of any age, for treatment - adults and adolescents from 14 years of age. Indications for the treatment of adolescents are the same as for adults. In many hotels there are children's rooms - while adults are taking procedures or relaxing, experienced and attentive caregivers take care of the children.

Lake Heviz- this is not only a huge swimming pool, but also a drinking pump room, as well as an open-air inhaler.

The waters of Lake Heviz belong to the group thermal low-mineralized hydrocarbonate-sulfate calcium-magnesium waters low noble gas content radon, carbon dioxide and hydrogen sulfide.
The waters of Hévíz have a calming effect. This is due to the presence of hydrogen sulfide, under the influence of which in the central nervous system the processes of inhibition begin to prevail over the processes of excitation. Magnesium has the same effect, which is why it is called the “anti-stress element”. When swimming in the lake, warm water improves blood circulation and metabolic processes in the skin and underlying tissues: joint bags, cartilage, internal organs. Minerals enter the skin and exert their healing effect.
The appearance of rheumatic diseases is often associated with insufficient sulfur content in the body. Sulfur during bathing enters the body through the skin. To enhance the effect, a drinking course is recommended, during which sulfur penetrates into the connective cartilage tissue, participating in the process of its formation. Also, a drinking course helps to increase calcium in osteoporosis. In case of inflammation of the mucous membrane of the gastrointestinal tract and bladder, calcium and magnesium act as an antiseptic. local importance. Drink water on an empty stomach 1-2 times a day. But the drinking course is intended, first of all, for the musculoskeletal system and drinking courses are not specifically prescribed by a doctor.

Therapeutic mud of Lake Heviz unique in their composition. The bottom of the lake is covered with a meter layer therapeutic radioactive sulfide silt mud containing up to 20% organic components. The mineral and organic composition of the mud, which has a significant heat capacity, determines its high therapeutic effectiveness. The inorganic part is represented mainly calcium bicarbonate, sulfates and a small amount of radon.
Sulfur restores chondroitin sulfate molecules and literally sews together individual chondrocytes, resulting in a strong elastic cartilage tissue. Hormone-like substances contribute to the restoration of hormonal function in women and men. In gynecological diseases, according to the modern canons of balneotherapy, sulfide mud is indicated for reduced ovarian function, and radon therapy for increased estrogen levels. Therefore, treatment with Heviz mud is indicated for inflammatory diseases with unchanged ovarian function.

Active components of the waters of Lake Heviz

HCO3 Bicarbonate ion neutralizes hydrochloric acid in the lumen of the stomach, alkalizes urine, promotes the dissolution of mucus in the stomach, urinary tract, and when inhaled - in the upper respiratory tract.

SO4 Sulphates inhibit the secretion of hydrochloric acid in the stomach, have a pronounced choleretic effect, increase intestinal motility, increase metabolic processes. By regulating the stool, eliminating flatulence and cleansing the intestines, these waters free the body and especially the liver from the effects of various toxic substances. Sulfur (in the form of sulfides and sulfates) restores the cartilaginous membranes of the joints, skin, and hair. Since ancient times, it has been considered the main healing substance for skin diseases and the best cosmetic.

Calcium has an anti-inflammatory and desensitizing effect, affects the growth of bone tissue, reduces the tendency to bleed from the mucous membranes.

Mg Magnesium ions, especially magnesium sulfates, having an antispasmodic effect, lower blood pressure, regulate intestinal motility, biliary tract, catalyze the activity of enzymes of the gastrointestinal tract.

Rn Radon. Small doses of ionizing radiation increase the activity of immune cells. As a result, the body's immune system becomes more effective in relation to both infectious agents and transformed cells in autoimmune diseases. Radon baths have a pronounced desensitizing, sedative and analgesic effect, restore impaired joint function, prevent the progression of the process, improve heart activity, and normalize blood pressure.
Waters containing the noble gas radon have been used for drinking cures for more than two thousand years. The Roman emperor Septimius Severus was treated with radon waters for urolithiasis, What modern researchers explain the normalizing effect of radon therapy on the immunological reactivity of the body and the excretory function of the kidneys. They have an analgesic effect, improve metabolic processes, motor and secretory functions of the stomach, intestines, biliary tract.

CO2 Carbon dioxide. Even a small amount of carbon dioxide in the water of Heviz promotes faster absorption and faster excretion by the kidneys, which is one of the reasons for the diuretic effect. When bathing, the "gas brush" improves peripheral circulation.

H2S Hydrogen sulfide ions reduce gastric secretion, have a laxative and choleretic effect. However medicinal properties in the water of Heviz are due to the presence of not only sulfides, free sulfur, but also thiosulfates, which increase the body's immune status and, therefore, enhance the anti-inflammatory effect.

B Bor found in the waters of Lake Heviz in the form of metaboric acid, which increases its biological activity. The physiological function of boron coming from mineral waters in the human body, is the regulation of parathyroid hormone, which, in turn, stimulates the exchange of calcium, magnesium, phosphorus and cholecalciferol, which helps to strengthen bone tissue. In addition, boron is able to increase the natural level of estrogen in women to exactly the same extent as hormone replacement therapy, and is just as effective protection against osteoporosis.

Si Silicon is contained in the waters of Heviz in the form of colloidal metasilicic acid, which explains the adsorption, astringent, anti-inflammatory, analgesic and diuretic properties of these waters, as well as the inhibitory effect on the secretory function of the stomach during drinking cure. When bathing in Lake Heviz and pools with thermal water from Heviz, silicic acid acts on the skin, increasing the synthesis of glycosaminoglycans and collagen, and therefore promotes the formation of granulations and scarring, smoothes wrinkles, makes the skin smooth and silky. Since ancient times, silicon-containing waters have been used to treat skin diseases and for cosmetic purposes.

Heviz is a small quiet town. It is considered today one of the most famous and big resorts Hungary.

Lake Heviz of the same name is considered the largest warm-water lake in Europe. Its area is 4.4 hectares, the depth is 36.5 m. The lake is surrounded on all sides by a large park.

Lake Heviz has unique balneological properties and has no analogues in the whole world.

The water of the lake is completely renewed every 28 hours due to springs. This lake is of volcanic origin. Warm water from its depths continuously mixes with cold water coming from the surface. You can swim in Heviz all year round. IN summer time the water temperature here is 33-35, and in winter it does not fall below 23-24 degrees. For the convenience of visitors, there is also an indoor swimming pool, in which even in winter the water warms up to 30 degrees.

Lake water evaporates very intensively. Above its surface you can always see a cloud, and in cold weather - steam. The air in the Heviz area is saturated big amount all sorts of useful things.

The surface of the lake is covered with pink lotuses. They were brought here from India and got accustomed perfectly. This flower has even become a symbol of the city.

There is almost no life in the lake water. This is due to constant heating. The bacterial flora of the peat bottom forms an antibiotic.

At the resort, for treatment and recovery, procedures such as balneotherapy (mud therapy and carbon dioxide baths), hydrotherapy, massage and electrotherapy are used.

The healing properties of the water of Lake Heviz

The value of the water of Lake Heviz was noticed in the Middle Ages. Doctors often prescribed it to their patients. In 1795, a bathhouse was built on the shore of the lake.

According to the classification used in our country, the waters of Lake Heviz belong to the group of low-mineralized hydrocarbonate-sulfate calcium-magnesium waters. They contain not a large number of noble gas radon, carbon dioxide and hydrogen sulfide. Hydrogen sulfide and magnesium have a calming effect on the human nervous system.

The warm water of the lake while swimming improves blood circulation. Metabolic processes in the skin, tissues, articular bags, cartilage and internal organs are accelerated.

Minerals through the skin exert their healing effect.

The waters of Heviz also contain calcium salts, alkaline salts, hydrocarbonates. In addition, it is weakly radioactive.

Mud therapy in Heviz

The bottom of Heviz is covered with a layer of therapeutic mud, which is mainly of vegetable origin. This mud contains a large number of various minerals.

The mud has good hydrophilicity and heat capacity. For these reasons, it is ideal for medical procedures. According to research data, it also contains hormone-like substances, sulfides, organic biologically active substances. Sulfur contributes to the effective restoration of the elasticity of cartilage tissue. Hormone-like substances improve hormonal function, both women and men.
