Bukk

Ride on alpine skiing possible in a mountain range Bukk(Bukk) 30 km from the city Miskolc(Miskolc) in ski park Bankut(Bankut). This is the largest (and most popular) ski park in most picturesque corner northern Hungary, where snow remains until the end of March. There are 8 trails (including 2 for beginners), a 10 km cross-country ski track and a toboggan run, 8 lifts and a “children’s lift” for beginners. There are evening lighting, rentals, ski schools. Magas Hill

Paradfurdo - “The Pearl of Mount Matra” - a healing bath located among picturesque forests in the valley of the crystal clear mountain stream Tarna. Parad State Clinic is located at an altitude of 214 m above sea level in a valley with a surprisingly mild, balanced climate, since this place is reliably protected from the north-west winds by the ridge of Mount Matra. The bath is known in Hungary as one of the centers medical tourism, thanks to healing thermal water containing arsenic, iron, alum. “Sour” water from the Čevitse spring has been used for more than 2 centuries to treat mainly gynecological diseases, and the water is also drunk for stomach diseases.

The Matra mountain range is ideal for beginners and not yet entirely confident skiers, since the routes are not particularly difficult. In total, on the territory of this center there are six ski slopes, totaling 3500 meters with a height difference of 146 meters, as well as one toboggan run.
