Indoor ski complex. Sports park "Sorochany". All-season indoor slope "Snezh.com"

Resorts, however, should be called "hill-skiing" - even the Dmitrovsky district, to which the nickname "Switzerland near Moscow" has firmly stuck, cannot boast of alpine elevation changes. Here 100 meters is already cool.

However, there is no shortage of guests. Pros and confident skiers go to the Moscow region to try out new equipment, warm up before the season at more serious resorts, and spend a “healthy weekend” with family or friends. Beginners are another matter: in the Moscow region there are comfortable, uncomplicated trails, pleasing the soul with the same "teapots" on the slope and instructors who speak an understandable language. Yes and put the child not owning foreign language, skiing or snowboarding is easier in your home country. In the suburbs, any decent resort has a children's ski school and instructors specializing in teaching children.

The services of instructors in the Moscow region are significantly cheaper than in foreign resorts. This is where the “budget” ends: in a good ski center near Moscow, it is unlikely that you will be able to save money. Except on the road.

“Good” and “decent” resorts are usually called those where there are not just slopes with several slopes and a lift, but the coveted “European level”. Technical equipment, quality of tracks, infrastructure.

To help those who are still thinking about where to relax and ride, we have selected 5 of the most modern and popular ski centers. Four out of five settled in the Dmitrovsky district of the Moscow region, not far from the city. The high resort concentration is explained not only by the suitable landscape, but also by tradition - more than 50 years ago, an Olympic reserve school was opened here, now Shukolovo or Leonid Tyagachev's club. A huge plus is the favorable ecological situation, the absence of large-scale industries in this area.

When asked how the resorts located here are fundamentally different, their managers and instructors shrug their shoulders: in principle, nothing. Everywhere developed infrastructure, everywhere you can stay in hotels or cottages, there are ski schools, modern lifts, rental, repair shops, specialized stores and "non-ski rides": tubing, snowmobiles, ice rinks. There are even balloons and helicopters. "European" adds the presence of evening lighting, artificial snow and snow groomers.

Fifth on the list is the Chulkovo resort, still known to Soviet skiers, in the east of the Moscow Region, not far from the city of Zhukovsky. By their own technical specifications and the development of infrastructure, the local centers are inferior to Dmitrovsky, but here it is noticeably cheaper, and the instructors are no less professional.

1. Volen and Stepanovo

Ski resorts and Stepanovo are practically relatives: they have the same parents, that is, owners. The resorts are located at a distance of 5 km from each other.

Differences, however, do exist. "Volen" is a resort more than promoted, "Stepanovo" is relatively new, but already well known. "Stepanovo" is more interesting for pros and confident amateurs: the tracks here are almost a kilometer long, on one of them the height difference is 110 meters - a record for the Moscow region. However, it is still impossible to stay overnight in Stepanovo, you will have to go to Volen. Resort owners do not assume that someone may not have a personal car, so Volen and Stepanovo are not connected by transport, you need to order a taxi from Yakhroma.

To ride in one day and in "Volen" and in Stepanovo, you will have to buy ski passes twice: they are valid only where they were purchased. But for those who ski all season, it’s convenient: season tickets are valid in both ski centers. So you can visit periodically at two different places one "card".

If in Stepanovo the pros dominate, then in Volen the audience is motley. There are a lot of children who squeal with delight at the sight of a huge tubing track. Many put the child in the "cheesecake" in the morning, and take it away when the slopes are illuminated. Or they give it to the "Children's Ski Club", where the road is open to athletes from three years old. They are trained on a separate track, they individually select equipment, they do not scold: instructors with an inexhaustible supply of patience are selected for classes with children.

The scheme promises as many as 15 tracks, including training ones. In practice, it is usually less open, but still there is plenty to choose from. There are drag and belt lifts, several restaurants and hotels. "Volen" has long turned into a kind of alpine village: with cottages, chalets, shops and good mulled wine. The prices here are also alpine. Behind separate fee they can even offer a "honey massage of the gluteal region."
There is no honey massage in Stepanovo yet, and catering is represented by three small cafes, but people come here to ride, and not just spend time outside the city.

Where: 64th km of the highway "- Dubna" (A-104, Dmitrovskoe highway).

2. Sorochany

Good versatility. There are 4 black (most difficult) tracks - maximum amount in the Moscow region. In addition, the height difference (90 meters) and the length of the slopes (about 860 meters) are among the best in the region. Such conditions cannot fail to attract excellent skiers and snowboarders. Therefore, the pros go either to Sorochany, or to the already mentioned Stepanovo. At the same time, Sorochany created good conditions for intermediates and beginners - a training track, comfortable chair lifts(They cried in the Moscow region), an army of instructors. Good rental, and even their own rescue service - other resorts near Moscow cannot boast of this

Sorochany.

But even those who trudged to Sorochany for company, without much desire to plow fresh snow with their faces, will not have to sit out in a hotel. You can ride on everything that moves: snowmobiles, ATVs, horses, "cheesecakes", even on an airplane (next to a small air park) and hot-air balloon. Or sip grog in a cafe with a panoramic view, watching the sporting exploits of friends.

Usually there are more skiers in Sorochany on weekends - after all family view sports, come in groups. IN weekdays there are more snowboarders - someone here skips lectures, someone prefers the board to the office. Another thing is important: there are always a lot of guests in Sorochany, so queues, despite the good capacity of the lifts, are a frequent phenomenon, even during night skiing, when both hands of the clock have already stepped over the number 12.

"Sorochany" function both in winter and in summer. In January 2017, finally, its own normal hotel "Iriy" was built. This is a complex of houses, one-room and two-room, with a kitchen and everything you need. Prices, however, are usually high there for this type of entertainment: on weekdays from 6,000 rubles, in new year holidays- from 12000.

Where: 54 km of the highway "- Dubna" (A-104, Dmitrovskoe highway), 2 km from the village of Ilinskoe.

3. Park "Yakhroma"

The trails are more modest than in Sorochany (shorter and less elevation difference), but for beginners and amateurs they are quite enough. There is a ski school and special training trails with their own lifts. Near - Observation deck, with which you can make fun of clumsy friends or brush off a tear of pride for your little skier. So here, a future champion may well be molded from a child.

In Yakhroma, lovers of non-sports recreation have not been forgotten either: the Apelsin aqua complex and the Medved bath house invite those who prefer brooms and Bavarian sausages to skiing. From other entertainment - outdoor ice rink, as well as a driving range with an extreme driving center, a motorcycle platform and, sometimes, test drives of famous brands.
Many people come to Yakhroma Park just to relax, as there are two hotel complexes, cottages and chalets on its territory. In this case, the presence of six modern ski slopes is a great addition to riding through the forest on snowmobiles, SUVs and ATVs, as well as dancing in local bars.

Where: 46 kilometers from the Moscow Ring Road along the Dmitrov highway, through the village of Dedenevo, following the signs to the Yakhroma Park.

4. Ski club Leonid Tyagachev "Shukolovo"

ski club Leonid Tyagachev began in the 1960s with a sports school for children and youth of the Olympic reserve. Almost at the same time, amateurs began to ride here, so the club can be called the oldest resort suburbs. Luckily, "oldest" doesn't mean "outdated". Members of the Russian alpine skiing and snowboarding team are still training at Shukolovo. Lifts and other equipment meet European standards, and the season is trying to "level" and extend with the help of artificial snow. In addition, there is the possibility of holding international competitions (in the Shukolovo club - in slalom). By the way, the former president of the Russian Olympic Committee chose the place for the resort not by chance - Tyagachev was born in the neighboring village of Dedenevo.

What to do in the summer, waiting snowy winter, you ask. Look snow videos in a hat, mask and in an embrace with board! Of course, this is also an integral part off-season, but also the best option will go to the nearest indoor mining ski complex(glk) and ride there for an hour or two. Indoor ski resorts is an entire industry that has been actively developing for over 20 years. To date, there are about 80 of them in the world. For snow lovers, we have collected information about several special and interesting indoor glaciers in one article. Read and enjoy.

In countries where the air temperature reaches +50, snow is a real exotic. Ski Dubai - one of the most spacious rooms in the emirates, with a temperature below zero, covering an area the size of three football fields. Excess cold air is redirected (with the help of special fans and pipes) to the neighboring shopping and entertainment complex for air conditioning. What kind of winter entertainment is not in Ski Dubai! All its expanses are covered with a 70-centimeter layer of snow. Inside, it is decorated with alpine landscapes painted on the walls, real pines and spruces grow there, and penguins live there, who were brought there in the spring of 2013.

The largest glacier in the world in terms of area is Snowworld landgraaf in the Netherlands (35000 m²). And also there is based Europe's largest artificial snowpark. There are five slopes in this glk, the longest of which reaches 520 meters and is equipped with a six-seater chair lift. Because of a large number elevators vacationers almost do not waste time waiting in lines. By the way, one of the tracks of the complex is the official training ground FIS. It means that Snow World Land Graaf– the only GLC that allows organizing official competitions FIS World Cup.

, which is located in Lithuania, can simultaneously receive about 1000 visitors. Here they can enjoy all the possible winter pleasures: ride skiing and on snowboards, children can frolic in the snow, and in the future they will be able to skate and play hockey. In the aggregate of their technical parameters the complex is one of the five best indoor ski resorts peace. The creators of this project carefully analyzed best experience other countries in this business, assessing their mistakes, and studied the industry of artificial slopes for a long time. As a result, we built our own version, which is among the top ten in the world, taking to our aid modern technologies and a little ingenuity and resourcefulness.

To date, under the dome of the German hides the longest all-season track in the world (640 m.). Another feature is the shape and location of the track - it descends from the mountain into the valley, and is curved like a question mark. And also this german complex surprises us by the fact that its entire roof consists of solar panels, which is 19000 m². Of course, this is a great help to save on electricity.

Snowball . – This is the only all-season ski resort in Russia, which was opened only in 2008. The trails of the glk, 400 meters long, are designed for 600 people. The project in Krasnogorsk has a unique configuration of an artificial mountain and rather complex architecture for such complexes. Inside Snezhkoma, an alpine climate is imitated, thanks to artificial snow, which is produced in a neighboring building in the amount of 100 tons per day and fed to the slope through special pipes.

S nowfun park , located just 90 minutes from Berlin, is one of the largest indoor ski resorts in Europe. Also, this is the only glk in the world, inside of which is halfpipe, which allows for appropriate ski and snowboard competitions. Green, blue and even red trails located inside make S nowfun park perfect place skiing not only for athletes, but also for family vacation. The main slope is 80 meters wide and 330 meters long.

The very first covered ski complex is Sayama (Japan). For over 60 years, he continues to receive guests. Of course, not everything there is as perfect as we would like: either the snow is not really snow, but rather ice, then the walls are not thick enough to keep the temperature, then reconstructions are carried out more often than it works, and even it closes for the summer, but despite this he still exists and keeps the title of "veteran" among the rest of the glk.

The only one in the Southern Hemisphere is a year-round complex located in New Zealand. The slope there is only 200 m long. There is also snowpark which is especially pleasing to freestylers. Snowplanet is very popular among children and young people, as there are well-developed promotional offers for visitors.

Alas, snow is not a constant phenomenon. Still, it's good that such an industry is developing rapidly, and new technologies are emerging that lead to the emergence of more and more snow-covered slopes for skiing in the summer, even in the hottest countries. Of course, they will never replace the great mountain scenery, frosty air, endless snowy expanses, but they have everything not to lose shape and feel a surge of joy from doing what you love.

Active leisure is gaining more and more popularity among Muscovites. It's strange, but the more channels the TV has, the stronger the desire to press the cherished green button and, having renounced "hot news", "recent events" and other "fresh" information, leave home altogether. And preferably away. And preferably "in the snow" or "in the ice." There, where the blunted were aggravated, there was a sense of smell, sight and the instinct of self-preservation. In a word, I want healthy, and not synthesized adrenaline, which our primitive ancestors received by inhaling frosty air with their Neanderthal nostrils ice age, which was mixed with the smell of fried mammoth meat. Or, let us recall Solveig: she ran skiing all her life and did not lose her fortitude and sexual excitement until her old age. Shaken self-confidence, fatigue from political and environmental disasters, or maybe just a desire for a healthy lifestyle makes us drop everything on a day off and rush to merge with nature in a primitive ecstasy. By the way, it is also advisable to take a wife who has stayed at home and a child languishing at the computer with you. And such respected experts as Dr. Spock and Mr. Carnegie will confirm that a good portion fresh air And thrill will benefit both health and family relationships.

Most Popular ski slopes in Moscow

Even superficial marketing of local ski slopes shows that there are more than 20 of them in Moscow and the nearest suburbs. Many of them are completely independent of the weather. Fortunately, technology has reached the point that snow is easily synthesized even at above zero temperatures. On many "fancy" ski slopes, the so-called "snow guns" work until April. But it must be borne in mind that skiing on such slides will cost an order of magnitude more expensive than on slopes with "natural snow". However, "show-off" slides have many undeniable advantages. First, secure car parking. Agree that you will ski for more than one hour. And covered by the excitement of personal records, you are unlikely to closely monitor the car. So, in order to prevent the outcasts from taking advantage of your temporary clouding of consciousness, it is still better to choose a descent with a guarded parking lot. By the way, one of the most prestigious slopes "Sorochany" provides this service for free.

The second and most important is equipment rental. Pleasure, frankly, expensive. And here it is important that you are not "slipped" by someone before you "killed" skis or bindings. After all, if they break on you, then you will have to pay for them. In this regard, it is the "expensive" descents that are good. Everything is strict there: a clear gradation is established for the category of equipment rented, starting from it, and the amount of damage is established. As a rule, these are "A", "B" and "C". "A" is the newest equipment purchased by the base this season. "B" - last year. "C" - outliving skis. You won't have to pay to break them.

Third - accompanying services. Agree that it is nice to relax after the descent with a glass of hot tea or mulled wine. It is even more pleasant if you can have a bite of grilled sausages or hot pancakes right on the descent. Going to an unpopular hill, you will have to grab sandwiches and thermoses with you.

Fourth, and perhaps the most important. at all prestigious ski resorts teams of traumatologists are on duty, who will provide you with qualified assistance, in which case, free of charge. On "small" slopes, the most you can count on is the help of volunteers. By the way, the sports complex "Volen" introduced the so-called insurance against accidents on their territory. It costs 50 rubles a day. But on the other hand, you can count on free treatment of an injury in the future.

You should also not discount such "little things" as the illumination of the tracks. With lights and music, riding is much more fun and productive.

Travel from Savelovsky railway station to Yakhroma station.

One of the most fashionable and expensive ski slopes. Equipped with a rich infrastructure: there is where to dine, change clothes and even take a shower. Guarded car park. Multiple tracks available varying degrees difficulties. This is important if you go there with the whole family. The child can be sent to a safe slide, you yourself can get adrenaline by jumping from springboards. For snowboarders and freestyle fans, there are several special tracks. There are 16 lifts, and yet on weekends, even they can not cope with the flow of people. Therefore, a bright holiday downhill can be overshadowed by tedious waiting in line for the yoke. On Sunday the cost of the lift is 200 rubles per hour. On weekdays - 100 rubles. Ski rental: category "A" - 700 rubles for 2 hours. "B" - 500, "C" - 400. But for the rental you will be asked to leave a deposit of several tens of thousands of rubles. Or all documents for the car along with your family's passports. A pledge bought once and for the whole season will be much cheaper. Leaving 16 thousand rubles at the box office, you will be able to ride until mid-April. Medical service on European level: several teams of qualified doctors of different specialties. Insurance. Children under 6 ride for free, children under 12 with a 50% discount.

Travel from Savelovsky railway station to the stop Yakhroma, then follow the sign to the village of Kurovo.

No less "show-off" place than "Volen", but not yet too hackneyed. Therefore, it is possible to more or less calmly and comfortably ride on weekends. Many illuminated trails of different lengths and degrees of difficulty. Ride on weekdays costs 200 rubles per hour, children under 6 years old - free of charge, up to 12 - 100 rubles. On weekends and holidays - 400 rubles per hour. You can arrange "one-time" lifts - from 50 to 80 rubles per lift. There is no clear category of wear for ski sets. "New" skis will cost 400 rubles, "old" - 350. Deposit for new equipment - 26 thousand rubles a day, for "old" - 9 thousand. Or you can leave the entire set of documents for the car. Snowboarders and other thrill-seekers ride on specially designated slopes. Free guarded parking.

Also one of the most comfortable ski places in Moscow. The slopes are not very steep, designed more for beginners than professionals. Good lighting, lots of lifts. A large influx of people from nearby territories, so you won’t have to ride alone even on weekdays. Subscription for an hour last season cost 200 rubles. This year, due to the lack of snow, the exact prices have not yet been set. Compared to "Volen" and "Sorochany" poor infrastructure.

Travel to st. metro station "Krylatskoye", access to the rowing canal and cycle track.

Several slopes with a length of 200-350 meters. 4 combined lifts are constantly working. It's good to ride with children - it's safe. Instruction from a professional trainer is included in the price of the service. Using the lift - 300 rubles per hour. Discounts for children. The snow is mostly natural, but in the absence of it, "snow guns" operate on weekends. The infrastructure is poor. But locker rooms are open and there are places to eat. The trails are illuminated, the "radio point" is working.

Travel by Yaroslavl highway in the direction of Sergiev Posad, then follow the sign.

The place is good overall. There is everything. Ski rental will cost 300-600 rubles per hour. Paid secure parking. In the presence of both quite civil cafes and impromptu barbecues. The locker room, the music, the light - it all works until late. There are special lifts for children. There are not too many people, and on weekdays you can generally ride alone on the entire slope. But there is one very, very big "but": bad tracks. The descents ornately taxi right between snow-white birches. High injury rate.

This article presents the most popular ski resorts where you can go snowboarding and skiing in Moscow and Moscow region in 2019.
