TIACA is a non-profit association that brings together participants in the international air cargo market. The association was created to promote the liberalization of the global market and the development of trade relations between countries. TIACA members include representatives from all major segments of the air cargo and logistics industry, including famous airlines How: Air Canada, Emirates, Swiss International Japan Airlines, United Airlines, Virgin Atlantic, Volga-Dnepr Airlines, UPS Airlines, DHL Express, Fedex Express; airports Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, Aeroports de Paris, Beijing Capital Airport, Los Angeles World Airports, Domodedovo Airport and others.

During a press briefing, Deputy Minister of Transport Valery Okulov noted that “the concept for the development of air cargo Russian Federation» is aimed at realizing the country’s transit potential and developing domestic demand for air cargo by improving the competitiveness of services air transport Russian Federation". For his part, Alexei Isaikin, President of the Volga Dnepr Group of Companies, emphasized that the knowledge and experience accumulated by the members of the association “are necessary for us in order to fully and efficiently realize the huge potential of the aviation industry that we possess.”

Western companies' interest in Russian market Michael Steen, Chairman of the International Cargo Aviation Association TIACA, stated: “The Russian economy is developing steadily, as evidenced by the country's recent accession to the WTO. The role of Russia in international logistics is rapidly growing, making this region more and more attractive both for investments directly in Russian business and for global transport companies and freight forwarders who consider Russia as a convenient logistics hub.”

The situation in Russia is paradoxical - there is someone to transport goods and someone to consolidate them, large major airports create an infrastructure for the reception and processing of goods, but the Russian economy is not yet ready for the formation of stable cargo flows sufficient to fill large transport aircraft. And unlike the market passenger traffic, the arrival of foreign companies in the cargo sector is not at all scary. There are large, successful and financially stable cargo carriers in Russia. Our leader in this segment is Volga-Dnepr Group of Companies.

The Volga-Dnepr Group of Companies is included in the TOP 15 global cargo airlines and is the world leader in the segment of transportation of extra-heavy and oversized cargo. In just 8 years, the Group's sales increased 6 times and in 2011 reached $1.75 billion. The Group provides jobs for 3,270 people.

Charter cargo transportation within the Group is carried out by Volga-Dnepr Airlines. Its fleet consists of 10 An-124-100 Ruslan and 5 Il-76TD-90VD super-heavy aircraft, which comply with all modern and future ICAO requirements and fly around the world without restrictions. Six years of experience in operating the Il-76TD-90VD aircraft has proved its demand in the market, which is growing year by year. Regular cargo transportation within the Group is carried out by AirBridgeCargo. Currently there are 12 in her fleet aircraft Boeing 747 family, including 2 newest Boeing 747-8F. Also, in 2011, the Group acquired the Atran airline, which has 3 An-12s in its fleet.

The organizers of the summit left the most interesting “for a snack”: a demonstration (Russian premiere) of the latest Boeing 747-8 Freighter, the legendary Soviet heavyweight An-124-100 Ruslan and a modern modification of the Il-76TD-90VD military transport aircraft took place at Domodedovo Airport

AirBridgeCargo Airlines, a member of the Volga-Dnepr Group, became one of the first companies in the world to receive Boeing 747-8 Freighter aircraft into operation. Now the company has 2 such aircraft and the third should arrive by the end of the year. Interesting fact: AirBridgeCargo is the largest cargo carrier at Frankfurt Airport (and the airport itself is the largest European hub).

Boeing 747-8 Freighter is a new modification Boeing aircraft 747. It features excellent flight performance, as well as a 16% increase in volume cargo compartments compared to the B747-400F modification, improved fuel efficiency and noise reduction, which together will allow the airline to optimize operating costs and increase economic efficiency.

Maximum load capacity Boeing 747-8 Freighter - 133.9 metric tons (133,900 kg) or 147.6 tons (295,200 lb)

Here are some interesting facts about the Boeing 747-8 Freighter:

  • The 747-8 Freighter's main and lower cargo decks can hold approximately 19 million table tennis balls.
  • The 747-8 Freighter has the capacity to carry up to 10,767 gold bars from Fort Knox (that's roughly $7 billion worth)
  • The electricity generated by the 747-8 can power 480,000 32-inch flat-screen TVs (that's the number of TVs in a city of over a million people)
  • 747-8 Freighter can quickly deliver about 9 million 72-hour medical kits or 122,000 army ready meals to a disaster area
  • 747-8 travels a distance of 3 football fields FIFA in 1 second
  • 747-8 covers a standard marathon distance of 42.195 km in 2.5 minutes
  • The top of the 747-8's tail is 63 feet 6 inches (19.5 m), which is the height of a six-story building
  • 747-8 is the longest civil aircraft (76.3 m)
  • One wing 747-8 matches total area four houses with three bedrooms and two bathrooms (each 1,375 square feet)
  • The wingspan of a 747-8 is equal to the length of two 737-700s
  • The diameter of the fan of the GENx-2B 747-8 engine is almost equal to the diameter of the fuselage of the B-29 bomber
  • The takeoff thrust of a single 747-8 GENx-2B engine is approximately equal to the takeoff thrust of all (8) engines of the very first model B-52 bomber, the PWYJ57-3 installed on 747-8)
  • The 747-8's fuel tanks hold over 64,000 gallons (242,266 L) of fuel, enabling very long distance flights such as from Los Angeles to Melbourne, Australia.

Against the backdrop of a large but elegant Boeing, somewhat reminiscent of a polished dandy city dweller, Ruslan looks like a big rural, recently demobilized bumpkin, who has only put aside household chores for a short time. Both in the cockpit and in the crew compartment you have to climb long stairs hanging from the ceiling somewhere. But in it I felt something very dear and familiar for a long time. It is very ascetic and unpretentious, without unnecessary external effects. On the contrary, everything is maximally optimized for the main task - transportation oversized cargo. And in this he has no equal. Especially when you see how this giant opens its huge “mouth”, crouches down and some kind of road train, crane or military equipment. A stunning and unique aircraft, which can only be spoken of with admiration.

On the day of the summit, there was another good news: Volga-Dnepr Airlines put into operation a full-flight simulator (FFS) An-124-100. Volga-Dnepr has received permission from the Federal Air Transport Agency to use the FFS An-124-100 for the training and training of An-124-100 aircraft crews. “The simulator developer - Research and Production Company Complex Simulator Systems” (“NPF SKT”) completed the final work by equipping the flight simulator with a six-degree electric mobility system manufactured by Bosch-Reхroth (Netherlands).

The simulator was created jointly with the manufacturer Ruslanov - CJSC Aviastar-SP. FFS An-124-100 in terms of the composition and number of simulated systems is the most complex and voluminous simulator building project in the Russian Federation at present.

The Boeing 747 400 is a jet 2-deck passenger aircraft designed to carry more than 500 passengers. This modification Boeing can fly up to 14,000 kilometers. Today, air transportation on this liner is carried out by Rossiya Airlines.

The history of the creation of the aircraft

This modification of the Boeing was created on the basis of the Boeing 747 300. In the mid-80s, the 300th modification of the Boeing did not allow to realize all the possibilities Boeing Airplanes. In view of this, it was decided to create a new modification of the liner, which will be distinguished by an increased level of fuel economy, a longer flight range, an improved cabin and a 10% reduction in operating costs. The development of the new vessel began in 1985, and the first roll-out of the 400 took place in January 1988. By that time, about 100 orders for the production of the Boeing 400 had been received.

The first official flight of the new vessel took place on April 29, 1988. The new modification B747 stayed in flight for more than 2 hours. Test pilot James Lesh and his crew were satisfied with the results of the test tests, which allowed this vessel to receive an airworthiness certificate. On January 26, 1989, the first 400 was handed over to Northwest Airlines. And after 2 weeks the first passenger flight this liner on the route Minneapolis - Phoenix.

Interior configuration

The cabin scheme of the Boeing 747 400 of Rossiya Airlines provides for the division of seats into 2 categories: economy and business. In economy class, the distance between the seats is no more than 90 cm. At the same time, the seats recline only 60 degrees. For the convenience of economy class passengers, each seat has folding table.

Thanks to the special design of the seats in the business class, they can be transformed into an almost full-fledged bed. The advantage of this is also considered to be a greater distance between the seats. Another plus - special menu for passengers, free drinks and access to Wi-Fi.

The main feature of this liner is its division into lower and upper decks. The standard number of seats on the lower tier is 470. This deck is designed exclusively for economy class passengers. The basic configuration of the seats is 3:4:3. However, there are exceptions. For example, a 2:4:2 layout is used at the tail end of a vessel, and a 2:3:2 layout is used at the bow.

Important! On the lower deck there are 3 blocks of bathrooms: in the tail, between the 20th and 22nd lines, as well as at the 43rd-44th rows. The Boeing 747 400 also has dressing rooms (54-59 rows) and catering units (31-34 rows). The descent from the upper deck is located near the 31st row.

The upper deck of the liner is represented by both business and economy class. Business class seats are located from the first to the third line. Starting from the 5th row, the “higher economy class” begins. The upper tier is located in the nose of the aircraft. For the convenience of passengers of the upper tier, 2 blocks of bathrooms are equipped. The capacity of the standard upper deck is 41 seats (business - 12 and economy - 29).

Should know! There are 3 main schemes for the Boeing 747 400 of Rossiya Airlines. The EI-XLM scheme differs significantly from the standard version. In accordance with this layout, passengers can take Super Space seats on the lower deck of the aircraft. These are economy class seats with improved features. They are in the bow of the lower deck. At the same time, in EI-XLM, the entire upper deck is represented exclusively by business class seats.

Choosing the best seat on the plane

The best places on the Boeing 400 are considered to be rows 1-3 of the upper tier. This is where business class is located. comfortable chairs and monitors with a diagonal of 15.4 inches. The distance between the lines in this class is more than one and a half meters. Seats on the 5th line of the upper deck differ in increased convenience. Despite the fact that they represent the economy class, passengers occupying these seats will have a lot of free legroom. In addition, the increased comfort of the passengers of the upper tier is ensured by the presence of displays with a diagonal of 8.9 inches.

On the lower deck in places superior comfort seating is considered from 10th to 12th line. The comfort of these places is due to the fact that the seats are installed in pairs - 2 chairs are more comfortable than 3 or 4. These seats are intended for passengers with children. It is here that the mounts for the baby cradles are installed.

Should know! On the lower deck, the countdown starts from the 10th line.

The plan of the lower deck makes it possible to classify seats E and F in rows 17-19 among the best places on this vessel. These seats also use paired seating. 31 lines can be noted, which is characterized by a lot of free space. However, it is due to the fact that there is a bathroom nearby. In addition, place 31C is located directly next to the stairs from the upper tier.

In the EI-XLM modification, lines 1 to 4 can be classified as the best seats. It is here that the seats of the Super Space category are located.

Bad places: how not to make a mistake

It's no secret that double-decker Boeing 747 400 has several bad places, which can significantly spoil the impression of the flight. First of all, it is worth noting the places in the 29th line. In this row, the backs of the seats do not recline due to the proximity to the emergency exit and the bathroom. The same applies to the 19th line. Seats A, D, E and L do not recline. The rest of the seats in this row, although postponed, have significant limitations.

Holders of tickets for seat C on lines 32-34 will experience significant discomfort due to the constant plying of other passengers. This is due to the fact that these seats are in close proximity to the stairs leading to the second floor. Not the most best experience from the flight will remain with passengers who will travel in seats in the 43rd, 54th, 70th and 71st rows. Due to the proximity of the emergency exits, the chairs in these places are not transformed. When studying the location of seats on this plane, it is also worth paying attention that not the most the best option there will be rows located near the bathrooms (20-22, 27-29, 41-46 and 69-71 rows).

On upper deck it would be a mistake to buy tickets in the last row. The main disadvantage of this line is the proximity of the toilet. In addition, there is a staircase to the lower deck nearby.

Before buying a ticket for a flight operated by a Boeing 747 400, passengers should pay attention to a few very important nuances:

  • You should not buy tickets for seats located near the office premises. Queues are always formed here, which creates discomfort and unnecessary noise.
  • If you have a long-distance flight, then you should not take tickets for seats where the seat does not unfold.
  • Passengers with small children should buy tickets to the nose of the aircraft. But for those who do not want to hear children's crying and noise, on the contrary, it is not recommended to purchase tickets in this part of the liner.
  • For daytime and morning flights, it is worth buying tickets for seats near the porthole.
  • Seats D and G, located in the middle of the cabin, are uncomfortable due to the constant movement of passengers and flight attendants.

Today "Russia" is one of the few Russian airlines, which operates Boeing 747 aircraft. Rossiya has a total of 6 Boeing 747-400 aircraft.

The Boeing 747-400 is a very roomy car, unlike the . This is achieved through a two-deck layout. The upper deck is much smaller in length than the lower one and creates a kind of hump on the liner. This "trick" and made this aircraft the most recognizable in the world.

Most of the aircraft "Russia" has a layout for 522 people. There are also liners with a layout for 447 and 461 seats. In this article, however, we will consider the layout of the aircraft for 522 seats.

Advantages and disadvantages of the location of Boeing 747-400 seats

Upper deck

Row 1,2,3. These are business class seats. There are no complaints about these places. Everything is done to a high standard. Armchairs here are laid out in a full bed, pillows and blankets are provided. The distance between the rows is 1.5 meters - more than enough for a comfortable flight.

Row 5. Economy class starts from this row. These are the most best places on the upper deck (in economy). Due to the lack of a front row, you can freely stretch your legs, unfold the chair and get a good night's sleep. No one will walk past you - only a business class is ahead, separated from you by a screen. The distance between the rows is about 86 cm.

Row 9. But the places in the ninth row cannot boast of indicators of the 5th row. They are highlighted in yellow in the diagram. The location in the immediate vicinity of the toilets does not bode well. High passability past your chair is provided, especially for seats C and H (the most inconvenient on the upper deck). Also, some discomfort can be caused by the presence of a transition to the lower deck (it can be cooler).

Lower deck

Row 10, 11, 12. Some passengers mark these seats as the most comfortable in economy class. If you settle down here, then a certain distance from the bulk of passengers is created, which means it will be quieter here (unless, of course, loud neighbors come across). The toilets are behind, so regular walking past your place is excluded. In addition, here more space and the seat backs fold down freely. In the diagram, these places are marked in green.

Seats between 18 and 19 rows(in the middle). Marked in green. They are also the most comfortable due to the increased legroom. But the places following behind (two places in yellow) are not recommended to be booked due to their proximity to the toilet. It is also likely that the seat backs do not tip over due to the bulkhead.

Row 22. Discomfort can be delivered by the presence of a toilet. Also, there may be no porthole. The distance between the chair and the wall of the toilet is not very large.

Row 29. Seat backs do not tip over due to emergency exit. There is a toilet nearby, which is also not a plus (and the chairs in the middle rest against the back of the toilet - the sounds of the drain tank are guaranteed).

Row 31. Quite a controversial row. On the one hand, there is increased legroom due to the missing front row. On the other hand, the presence of an emergency exit creates restrictions on laying hand luggage. Also in these places you can not fly with children and animals. It may be a little cooler here than in the other part of the plane. Location "A" is near emergency door which may interfere with a comfortable flight. Near the place "C" is a ladder.

Row 43. Seats are highlighted in yellow. Seat backs do not tip over escape hatch. Also, some passengers complain about the small legroom. Additional noise can be created by passing passengers going to the toilet.

Row 44. The seats here are better than in row 43. First of all, due to the increased legroom. The only downside is the presence of a toilet in the immediate vicinity. Seats A and L are near the emergency door.

Row 54. Analogy 43 rows. The seatbacks do not recline. Places C and H are the most hectic, as they are on the way to the kitchen area.

Row 55. More comfortable due to increased legroom. But the situation is aggravated by the presence of a kitchen area in the immediate vicinity.

Row 67-69 Rows have two chairs each, which means they are calmer. Particularly suitable for families flying.

Row 70. The seats in this row are not very comfortable, although they are paired. The seatbacks do not fold down.

Row 71. The noisiest row, as it is located close to the toilet. Seats D and G are the most uncomfortable. Passengers will constantly walk past you, so you won’t doze off.

Before the European giant A-380 appeared on the market, the Boeing 747 was considered the largest aircraft in the world, the cabin capacity of which, or rather, 2 passenger decks, was more than 500 people. Like other aircraft of the company, this liner has undergone several modifications, but its main differences have not changed. The aircraft contained 2 decks, original nose, 4 engines, and the most large capacity passengers.

The aircraft became the first wide-body airliner, which was planned only for cargo transportation. It began to be developed a year after the launch of the 737 version, as a result of which a fundamentally new aircraft did not work out. However, this was not required. The whole world followed the development supersonic liners, so the Boeing 747 had every chance to stay. Especially for the cargo version, the cockpit was located on the second floor. It was originally planned to leave the second deck for passengers, while the first floor was given entirely to the cargo compartment. The aircraft also received four engines for greater carrying capacity.

First flights

Despite financial difficulties, the first wide-body airliner took to the air in 1970. Since the liner was a passenger liner, the upper deck became a service one, and all passengers were accommodated according to the principle usual for other aircraft. The capacity of the Boeing 747 of the first samples was only 200 people, but when compared with the 737 model, released in the same year and taking on board 100 people, a twofold difference is obtained.

The active interest in the new airliner significantly undermined the position of the "concords" - European supersonic aircraft: many carriers revised their orders and the shares of the Boeing 747 began to grow rapidly. On the basis of the first aircraft, the production of several modifications began. The first of these was developed for a Japanese carrier, while the order was for short-range aircraft. The response to the order of the Japanese was the modification 747-100SR. This version received an improved fuselage, smaller tanks, which significantly increased the capacity of the aircraft. The Boeing 747-100SR was able to take on board 500 and then 550 people. Later, the development 747-300 will receive the same modification - a short-range aircraft.

Other modifications

Despite growing orders for passenger versions, Boeing did not leave the original plans for the release cargo aircraft. So the following modifications appeared: F - cargo version, M - combi, having the ability to take fewer passengers, but more luggage, B - improved chassis (for the first versions) and tanks (later). In addition, on the basis of 747-200, two classic "board number 1" was assembled to transport the US president.

Modification 200 served as a prototype for the next generation - 300s, the only difference of which was to be the presence of three engines instead of the standard four. But this decision was not continued - the Boeing 747-300 became a completely new airliner.

Boeing 747-300

One of the features of the new aircraft was a direct staircase to the second floor (previously a spiral was used), an enlarged upper deck, designed for an economy or business class, and at the same time the ability to vary the number of seats. The capacity of the Boeing 747-300 ranges from 400 (three-class operation) to 600 when only one service class is used.

The first Boeing 300 took off in 1980 and quickly became one of the most used. Until 2005 (the first takeoff of the A-380), this modification was considered best model long-distance main liner, but it also showed significant shortcomings.

Operational problems

Simultaneously with the increase in the number of passengers, problems in operation began. The largest Boeing 747, whose capacity was growing rapidly, no longer corresponded to the parameters of airports. In addition, four engines against three on competitor aircraft of the DC-10 type implied A with the onset of the 1970 crisis, many companies refused to work with the 747 model due to its unprofitability. If we recall that around the same time, the Boeing 767 and Airbus-300 (both with two engines) entered the market, almost immediately capturing the wide-body aircraft market, the 747th began to lose ground. And although the capacity of the Boeing 747 aircraft was still one of the largest, airlines began to first convert this version into a cargo version, and then simply sell it.

Long distance aircraft

And, perhaps, another aircraft would have gone down in history, but it was the growth in the number of passengers that allowed the Boeing 747 class aircraft to remain in service. The passenger capacity of this liner satisfied the demanding Great Britain and Japan, not to mention the fact that such an aircraft could be used on long-distance transcontinental flights or on busy lines.

The future of the 747

With the development of aviation, many carriers had a need for the possibility of long flights without refueling, in connection with which the developers again took up the Boeing 747. The passenger capacity in the new versions reached 800 people. The flight range met the standards of the previously released model 747-400. But very soon the projects of aircraft 747-500 and 747-600 went into the archive. The carriers wanted a new aircraft, not an upgrade of the old one. Nevertheless, the developers did not forget about the 747th: they finalized it, closed it, refined it again. This continued until 2005. Finally, after the release of the Boeing 787, the corporation announced the return of the 747 model. New car gets the code name "Boeing 747-8", or Advanced.

Carriers, remembering the dubious success of the first versions of the 747, initially ordered 109 cars - a third of them in passenger design. The rest were required in the cargo version. A total of 121 vehicles have been sold to date. The capacity of the Boeing 747-8 did not stun - 581 people when using 2 classes of service. When using three classes of service (with the addition of the first class), the number of seats is reduced to about 400.

Best Places

The article shows a typical layout of three classes in the aircraft of the Lufthansa airline (Germany). The liner has several first class seats - on the lower floor under the cockpits, 80 seats in business class and almost 300 seats in economy class. The total capacity of the Boeing 747-8 in this arrangement is 386 seats.

There were no complaints about the first class - there is a lot of free space for passengers, they can comfortably accommodate, while each seat is behind its own screen. Next are the front exits, buffets and restrooms. The first row seats in the business class, although spacious, but rest against a partition, behind which there are toilets and a kitchen, which can create some inconvenience. Armchairs 9C and 9H are located in close proximity to the aisle and toilet rooms. Similar inconveniences can be expected by passengers of the 81st and 88th rows (second floor, first and last rows). Passengers in the tenth row will have to look at the partition in front of them for the entire flight, which, of course, is rather uncomfortable. The business class is located 6 people in a row, while they are separated by two aisles.

Economy class starts from rows 16 and 18. The sixteenth row has only 6 seats. Given that there are no passengers in front of them, there is enough free space for the inhabitants of this row and they do not risk finding themselves in the trap created by the reclined seat in front of the person sitting in front. The same applies to the middle section in the 18th row. The twentieth row is located next to the emergency exit - this explains the lack of windows. Passengers in the middle section in this row do not have the opportunity to take a horizontal position, since there is a wall of toilets at the back. The 21st-22nd rows repeat the arrangement of rows No. 16-18, except that there are only four places in the 21st row, not separated from the rest. There is also enough legroom, the only drawback is that there are emergency exits nearby. The middle section, namely the 32nd and 33rd rows, has rear walls, so you won’t be able to relax and lie down. All seats in the 34th row have a partition in front of them, which may cause little space. The 45th-47th rows are in the tail of the aircraft, so it can be crowded there. The 49th row can be called the most unsuccessful, since the shortcomings that were mentioned earlier are fully present in this sector.

Conclusion

The capacity of the Boeing 747 has been upgraded from version to version, but, according to carriers and direct users of this aircraft, although it requires a lot of fuel, it justifies itself on transcontinental flights. The airline can serve as a serious confirmation british airways, which bought during the American crisis the largest Boeing 747, the capacity of which was up to 500 people. The number of cars of this class in the company's fleet today is 57 units.

747-400 began production in 1988. It was immediately adopted by many Western airlines in the world. This is a large, double-deck liner, designed for more than 500 passengers.

It can be used on long-distance, intercontinental flights, as well as on destinations that are in high demand.

Boeing 747-400 Rossiya Airlines

This is the most large liner in the staff of Rossiya Airlines. As we wrote above, it has two decks. The cockpit is on the top. This air carrier practices 3 seating arrangements in the cabin. 1 and 2 are very similar. The difference is only 2 chairs on the upper deck. But the 3 scheme is very different from the first two.

In this aircraft, the company uses 3 types of seats .

Business Class

They have an extended gap between the seats. Have more comfortable spot, which has the ability to unfold at 160-180 degrees, with a pillow-foot. The passenger can assume a horizontal position. It also includes drinks and internet access.

Economy class

The distance between the backs here is from 74 to 91 centimeters. The backs of the seats recline, but not more than 60 degrees. Each chair has a folding table and a pocket for things.

Space+

These are economy class seats, but with improved characteristics - increased distance between rows. Accordingly, they are more expensive than usual. They can be located in a separate unit in the cabin. They are also considered the most comfortable chairs in general salon economy class.

1/2 interior scheme

The upper deck has 12 economy class seats plus 27/29 Space+ seats. This is a separate, very cozy VIP compartment, with dedicated amenities and attentive flight attendants. Of course, you will have to pay more than the standard price for this. The salon even has 2 emergency exits.

The lower deck accommodates 483 economy class seats. Of these, 39 have Space + status. All seats in this salon are divided into three rows. Central, consisting of 4 chairs and two side, consisting of 3 chairs each.

There are 10 emergency exits in the cabin, 5 on each side, 11 toilet rooms.

Comfortable seats in the cabin

Space + level chairs can be considered as such, as they are more expensive and more comfortable due to the increased distance between the seats. But it's not so simple. A long distance is comfortable for the legs, but quite inconvenient when the plane goes down. Instinctively, we look for supports in front and if the pilots make unsuccessful maneuvers, you may end up on the floor. (Don't forget to fasten your seat belts!)

Therefore, tickets to Space + seats are not sold:

  • pregnant women;
  • children under 18;

Beyond places "high comfort" comfortable places can be called at the very beginning of the bow of the liner. 16 seats are arranged 2 in a row, which is very convenient for those who travel together. If you are not embarrassed by flights in the tail section, then you can also find double accommodation there.

The side parts of the huge cabin are occupied by 3 seats in one row, which is perfect for a company of 3 people or a family with a child.

Uncomfortable seats in the cabin

If you are flying alone, then you will be uncomfortable on seats with the letter B, E, F, K. Due to the fact that they are surrounded by other seats. If you are flying together, then try not to take seats E, F - in the center of the cabin and A, B, K, L - at the windows. Otherwise, you will have to ask the neighbors to let you out.

Many do not like to fly by plane because of the large crowding of people. Since the distance between the seats is no more than 90 centimeters, those around you fall into your personal space. From this point of view, almost all economy class passengers are in uncomfortable conditions.

Traditionally, chairs near the toilet are considered uncomfortable places. As well as chairs standing with their backs to emergency exits- they are not completely unfolded for safety reasons.

3 scheme

The upper deck in this seating arrangement consists of 26 business class seats.

The bow of the lower deck is also occupied by a compartment of 12 business class seats. The remaining 411 seats are occupied by economy class. Unlike the previous schemes, there are only 12 Space+ luxury seats. Otherwise, the scheme of this salon is no different from the previous one.

If you want to choose the most comfortable seat in the cabin, take care of it a day before the flight. Check in online and book your favorite seats.

Pleasant flight!
