Then the route is as follows: the first traffic light (pedestrian crossing) -> at the second traffic light, turn right (sign of the city "Zheleznodorozhny"). Having left on the Leonovskoye highway, we reach the nearest traffic light, count 100 meters and again to the right. Here we have arrived.

slopes. Lisya Mountain has three slopes: two gently sloping 400 meters each, leading to the parking lot, and a rather steep third, approximately 250-300 meters long. All slopes are wide and flat. The slopes are prepared daily by a snowcat. This year, the middle slope was never opened, but the area under the former snow park was leveled. For a more or less advanced skier, riding it, however, is just as boring as on the slope left from the yoke - the mop.

Lifts. On the first slope there is a double yoke-mop. The yoke is soft, it is easy to climb on it with children. On the second - the worst invention of ski humanity - the baby lift. On a steep slope - two single yoke-plates. There is one BUT: queues. On a steep slope, according to our observations, the second lift is turned on if the waiting time in line exceeds 10 minutes. But, unfortunately, it breaks quite often, and then the queue exceeds all conceivable limits. Another yoke-mop on a steep slope is idle, summer, apparently, was not enough to register it with Rostekhnadzor. On gently sloping weekends and in good weather, you can stand up to 20 minutes.

Prices. We have always been surprised by the scarcity and unprofitability of subscription programs: the absence of daily, monthly unlimited subscriptions, unlimited weekend subscriptions and other common options. But all this was still half the trouble. On February 1, 2011, the administration of Lisya Gora stopped selling the so-called monthly subscriptions for 3,000 rubles. (limit 150 lifts) - the only way to ride in Balashikha on reasonable price. There are only daily ones left, and now the maximum is 30 lifts instead of 50: I bought 30 lifts - be kind enough to ride them today. The queue, frozen, just tired of riding - your problems, the money will not be returned. Until the New Year, season tickets were sold for 20,000 rubles. What can I say, in other resorts near Moscow with a much greater variety of tracks, you could choose a seasonal one for almost half the price.

Infrastructure . In the main building of the complex (white tent) there is a dressing room and toilets. There is also a rental and a left-luggage office (50 rubles per day). There is a paid (100 rubles / day) and free parking. There is a cafe.

Directions. A significant advantage of Lisya Gora could be considered its transport accessibility: only 7 km from the Moscow Ring Road. But even here, not everything is so rosy. You can get to the mountain on a working day up to 14 hours, and then for the notorious 7 km you need to lay at least 30 minutes. Later than 14 hours, only very patient people and residents of Balashikha can leave Moscow along the Highway of Enthusiasts. On weekends, the situation is calmer, but the principle “the sooner you leave, the sooner you get there” still works.

Total. We make a simple calculation of the net time spent on the mountain and its cost. The time of descent along any of the slopes of Lisya Gora for a very average skier will not exceed 30 seconds (for a good skier this time is half as much, but we will round in favor of the mountain). The maximum subscription for 30 lifts on a day off costs 1,400 rubles. 30 runs of 30 seconds = 900 seconds (15 minutes!) of pure skiing time. Are you ready to pay 1,400 rubles for 15 minutes of skiing - it's up to you.

For comparison: an unlimited subscription for a day on Elbrus costs 1,000 rubles (a mountain with only 1,500 meters of elevation difference), in Italian Cervinia with its 110 kilometers of slopes - 37 euros (1,600 rubles).

10 thoughts on Lisya Gora in Balashikha - it used to be better

    Hi all!

    I won't linger for a long time!

There is only one descent and one lift. In order to go down once, you need to defend a kilometer queue for the lift. Drunken administration with security guards chases those who do not know how to ride and makes them go to the lift, and there, without an instructor, these poor fellows bruise their foreheads, because they see this miserable lift for the first time. In short, if you don’t ride well and are used to climbing a slope on foot and riding a small hill (if you are studying), then they won’t let you do this on FOX MOUNTAIN (you won’t learn here).

It’s just that the guards and the administrator need to drink less, it’s a complete mess and they demand more money for it.

It's a pity, it's a pity that so-called "management" kills such a good mountain. With such competition ski slopes in the suburbs, the most important thing that the resort has is a permanent audience. And we have to fight for it...

This year, the rates have increased even more 🙁 In addition, a two-minute timeout has been introduced, so you can’t ride the same ski pass together. Every year it gets worse. It's a pity. We will look for other slopes.

And so the slopes are ideal for beginners, because. smooth, wide, worn out and well lit, and it wasn’t far for me to get there 😉

    1. As far as I can see, for a week now, a section of the slope has been allocated for self-study for beginners who climb on foot. For safety, it is separated by a net from the slope with a lift. So now you can not stand in a long line and go down at least ten times without it, but safely.

    2. Yes, it’s possible that beginners bruise their foreheads without an instructor on the lift (although I don’t really know how they succeed in the snow, although everything is possible - it depends on the person, not on the lift), but even if this is so , then they smash them only to themselves, and not also to those climbing on foot of their comrades, to whom they, such independent ones, will be “magnetized” during the descent.

    1. Not all tariffs have increased. For example, appeared for 2000r. "weekday pass" for 100 lifts, valid until the end of the season. This is instead of 3000/150 daily/30 days. But this is, let's say, an abik for those living nearby, of course.

    2. In general, of course, a little expensive. Especially on weekends and holidays.

    3. With me, people ride with a 2-minute timeout. Yes, one passed, handed it to the second, and he went to wait for him upstairs.

Yes, it’s not so interesting, but since 2007 it has been written on the mountain’s website that ski passes are individual. However, strictly for this no one is watching.

Finally, I would like to wish the grief of development in general and development in the social side of the tariff scale.

A weekday pass is good, but the majority of skiers ski on weekends. And on weekends, the prices are very unfriendly... In the article above, I calculated how much it costs 15 minutes of pure skiing time on Lisya Gora - and this is at 2010 prices 🙁

Was on Lisya Gora last Saturday. Very upset by the fact that children over 6 years old have to pay the full price for using the lifts!!! I do not know of any such resort in the Moscow region. I came with two children (both 10 years old) - they paid 900 rubles for 15 climbs. Total - 2700 for an hour to ride on not the best slopes - it's very expensive! Moreover, if the paid money is not immediately rolled back, then everything burns out and the next day you pay again! I don’t think we’ll ever go there again... And also the parking is paid - 100 rubles, however, there is an opportunity to park for free...

The mountain is now private. I was kicked out of it. I wanted to look, as before, at the city. I do not see capitalism and this power. People are now not put for anything. We are cattle.

I rode for the first time today, in comparison with others - EXPENSIVE!!!

    Prices are BIG!

Lesson with a child (1 hour) at the weekend cost 1600!!!

the same price was this year in Europe, in the Alps, on a big slope!

The only plus, relatively close to home, when compared with other slopes near Moscow.

And I walk there, if the guards from below shout to me like “Get down, you can’t!” I scream "Huh? Who to call? Volodya? I'm going after him now." And I go on myself. And what will they do? Will they follow you up the hill?
