What cities are near Pesaro. Entertainment and attractions in Pesaro. Theater and Concert seasons

I liked my vacation in Pesaro not only with excellent beaches and high service at the hotel, but also with a very good location of the city. Pesaro is located in such a way that from it you can easily get to many sights of Italy.

My boyfriend and I were thus able to visit not only nearby Rimini and, but also cities located at some distance, including Rome.

By car

Please note that almost all online services building a path through paid section, so use manual route correction.

In Italy, even secondary roads are in excellent condition, so the only inconvenience to you will be the low speed. Italian drivers almost never violate traffic rules, but this is due not so much to their integrity as to high fines. You can read about this issue.

By train

How to pay for travel through the terminal, read.

Departure from Pesaro from Piazzale G. Falcone P. Borsellino at 07.25, the bus arrives at Tiburtina bus station at 12.50.

There is another flight at 12.35, but due to a transfer in Bologna, the journey will take about 10 hours.

What is the price

A ticket for a direct flight is inexpensive - only 9 euros. If you go with a transfer, then the trip will cost 14 euros.

Where can I buy

View schedule, ticket availability and purchase travel document the easiest way is on the website of the transport company FlixBus.

Results

Since my boyfriend and I planned to explore the city in a day, we tried to choose such a flight in order to arrive in Rome as early as possible. As a result, the trip turned out to be not too budgetary, but you will be in the city around 10 am.

If you want to save money, then choose a bus, however, in Rome you will be in the afternoon.

There is also a regular air traffic, but the nearest airport is in Ancona, 60 km from Pesaro. Actually, to get to Ancona, to pass passport control, then going from Rome airport is not very convenient, and the whole trip will be even longer than traveling by train or bus. For this reason, we did not even consider such a travel option.

Pesaro in Italy is a sophisticated resort for lovers of leisurely walks, elegant serving and good music. The movement of cars is limited in the city, it is given over to pedestrians and cyclists, therefore, as they joke locals, local air can be sold in pharmacies. Pop musicians don’t come here with concerts and bikers don’t drive along the night roads, but opera lovers from all over the world come to the Rossini Festival every year, like in Mecca, and in local restaurants many well-known culinary schools in the country delegate cooks and baristas to study. It is worth coming to Pesaro to admire the extraordinary sunsets and elegant outfits of holidaymakers, breathe in the Adriatic breeze and touch the ancient history a city that is more than two thousand years old.

Holidays at the thermal spa before Christmas. Cycling around the area. Part 7

Part 7. We decided to dedicate some days to exploring the surroundings, take bicycles from the hotel and ride. The trips turned out to be very wonderful and completely calm. If you move along the roads, if there are no bike paths, the main thing is to feel the mutual respect of the participants in the movement. Beach Italy. Pesaro. May 17th, 2012

Summer is coming and the holiday season is starting. We decided to write a series of posts about places worth visiting in the summer. All posts are personal experience.

Let's start with beach Italy. Among Italian resorts in Russia, tours to Rimini are the most popular. They are offered by most tour operators. In this post I will talk about the city of Pesaro, which is located south of Rimini and is not so popular with Russian tourists.

Why Pesaro? As mentioned above, it is not so popular with tourists and even in mid-July there are not so many people here (relatively).

It takes about half an hour to drive from Rimini airport to Pesaro. The city is located on Adriatic coast. From the sea side, the city is solid sand beach and hotel lines.

All beaches in Pesaro are urban. Rent of umbrellas and sun loungers for a fee. You can find free umbrellas on the beach at any time. There are also non-equipped sections of the beach.

The Adriatic Sea is very warm in summer. In July the water was +32 degrees. The entrance to the sea is very smooth, you can move 100 meters from the shore and the depth will be chest-deep.

The beaches are very clean, lifeguards are on duty everywhere.

The photo shows white buoys - only it gets deep there, and you can walk to the buoys.

From almost any hotel in Pesaro, which is located on the first line, there will be this view

If you walk along the beach to the outskirts of the city, you can find places that are as free from people as possible.

In your free time from the beach, you can walk around the city. Pesaro is not like the old ones Italian cities, with narrow streets.

There are many private villas in the city, some of them are for rent.

There are attractions:

Street near the beach. Parking is difficult here.

The most convenient way to move around the city is by scooter. There are plenty of them all over the place.

Beach entrance

One day the sea was a little stormy, strong wind. But a lot of people were swimming.

There is also a medieval fortress in the city

You can rent bicycles and get out of the city. Or go on many excursions, including San Marino and Venice.

For food lovers, there are several Michelin-starred restaurants in Pesaro. Their cuisine is amazing. At the same time, the cost of a hearty dinner with wine and lobsters for two is not very high, it is about 80 euros. And on the street you can refresh yourself with fresh fruit, in such stalls. A couple of euros for a basket of fruit or berries.

During the day in Pesaro, as in all of Italy, life flows sluggishly. Restaurants are closed, there are few people on the streets. For that evening, after 7 o'clock, life boils

There is a lot of entertainment on the streets, orchestras, musicians play somewhere, various magicians and other artists perform. By chance you can stumble upon a Ferrari :)

In general, Pesaro left only positive emotions and impressions. In the evenings reigns here special atmosphere which I have not seen anywhere else.

And the sea is ideal for swimming if you travel with children or like warm water.

Pesaro - cute resort town in the province of Marche, which is pleasant to walk and have something to see. The most convenient way to get from Rimini to Pesaro is by train. The regional train runs for half an hour, the ticket costs 3.75 euros. It goes about once every half an hour, during peak hours - more often. fast trains Intercity from Rimini to Pesaro takes 17 minutes, the ticket costs 11 euros.

The city has a pronounced central axis stretching from railway to the sea through historical Center. Its length is slightly more than a kilometer, and on this small interval the main street changes its name 4 times. Near the railway, it is Via Montegrappa, then Via Branca, then Via Rossini and already goes to the sea as Viale della Republica, bumping into the oval Piazalle della Liberta.
Map of Pesaro with attractions

In the middle of the oval square, right on the water surface of the fountain lies a metal sphere, similar to the Vatican. Its name is Sphere Grande, the creator is Arnaldo Pomodoro.

Sphere Grande

Just behind the fountain, a charming Art Nouveau house draws attention. This is Villa Rugeri, built in 1907.

The villa is definitely worth going around - each of its sides has its own face.

Opposite the villa there is an information tourist centre and also a cafe where we had a nice lunch. I recommend the seafood pizza.

The embankment of Pesare pleases the eye with its grooming.

The beaches in the Pesaro area are sandy.

A little away from central street, slightly below the level modern city, there is a massive fortress in the shape of a regular square with 4 towers at the corners - Rocca Constanta. He began to build the fortress of Constanta Sforza, finished by his son Giovanni in 1505.

Rocca Constanta

Nearby stands a monument to the poet Odoardo Giansanti.

Let's walk along the main street.

In its first seaside part, it is surrounded by villas and trees. A green resort area stretches along the beaches.

However, the cozy villas soon end, and we enter the historical center. The trees fade away, the street narrows and looks like a narrow corridor between a continuous series of buildings. In this part it is called Via Rossini.

There is still some space in front of the cathedral. The Cathedral is famous for its mosaic floors.

Cathedral

Against Cathedral is the Palazzo Lazzarini, which now houses the Diocesano Museum, dedicated to archeology and history.

Passing the small Piazalle Colenuccio

and we find ourselves in front of the Gioacchino Rossini Museum, in front of the house in which he was born and lived for the first 8 years of his life.

Rossini House Museum

A ticket to the museum costs 4 euros. 7 euros worth complex ticket, along which you can visit the Rossini house, as well as the City Museums.

Finding the City Museums (Musei civici) is easy - Mazzolari Street starts from Rossini's house. You need to walk along it for about 100 meters to Toshi Moska Square. Museums are located in the same building ( former palace Toshi Moska) and consist of two parts: art gallery with paintings from the 14th-20th centuries and a museum of ceramics with wonderful work the Renaissance.

On the square in front of the museum lies an extravagant sculpture, created in 2009 for the annual Rossini Opera Festival. The Pesaro Opera Festival is held in August.

Next to the City Museums is a two-story house with a balcony on which hangs a sign "Casseta Vaccai", or Shepherd's House.

In the depths of it, among the houses, the Synagogue of the 16th century is hidden - that's exactly what is hidden, because you can find it among the surrounding houses only by a sign, it is no different from other houses.

Turn left onto Via Ventura and reach the 14th century church of Sant'Agostino with a magnificent Gothic portal from 1413.

Portal of the Church of Sant'Agostino

Inside the church are wooden choir stalls from the 15th century.

The area is decorated with a fountain.

The most remarkable building in Piazza Popolo is Palazzo Ducale. The main part was built under Malatesta dei Sonetti at the beginning of the 15th century. Subsequently, Alesandro Sforza made a facade with arches and a portico.

To the right of the Palazzo Ducale is the Palazzo del Comune.

Opposite it is the Palazzo delle Poste with a Gothic portal from 1395.

Palazzo delle Poste

The sign with the inscription "Post, Telegraph" next to the portal is discouraging.

Slightly away from main street the Conservatory is located. Rossini, again - with extravagant sculpture.
