Beach blue lagoon nha trang vietnam. Embankment with palm trees. Vietnam Nha Trang beaches in the center in the European quarter #3

If you arrived in Nha Trang, and the sea suddenly decided to upset you with not the most friendly waves - do not rush to be upset! We have prepared for you a list of 5 places where you can enjoy beach holiday any weather.

1 place. Orchid Island beach in the northern islands of Nha Trang

One of the most quiet places for swimming - this is the beach of Orchid Island. In fact, it's not even an island, but large peninsula, which fences off part of the sea, and the beach is located on the inside of this peninsula. Thus, there is a natural protection from the waves. The disadvantage of this place is that it is not so easy to get here. It is necessary to choose either an excursion, or to get to the port on your own, using the city bus number 3 and the ferry.

The beach has everything you need: sun beds, sun loungers, umbrellas, showers, toilets and a restaurant. Also available additional entertainment in the form of gardens with exotic animals and birds, jet skis, parachutes, etc. Read more about how to get here and how much it costs in this article about.

2nd place. Beach in the north of Nha Trang

There are 2 main beaches in Nha Trang. This is the central beach, which often storms and northern beach, which is more secluded in the bay, so the waves here are small or completely absent. Very often on the north beach, almost completely calm compared to what is happening on central beach. Therefore, during unrest on the central beach, it is worth going and checking how things are in the northern part of the city. Get from the center to northern part city can be by taxi or.

3rd place. Beach at Vinperal Amusement Park (Vinpearl)

Although the beach is artificial, it is very beautiful. This beach is protected by Vinpearl Island from the sea, due to which it is almost always calm on it. The downside is the price, because to get here you have to buy a ticket to the park Entertainment Vinpearl. Therefore, it is difficult to come here every day due to financial reasons, but it’s worth getting out 1-2 times during your vacation as part of your trip to Winpearl amusement park. Read more about this park

4th place. Paragon beach in An Vien area

Paragon Beach is a private beach in the village of An Vien, which is located next to the cable car in winpearl park and where you can get on the city bus number 4. The beach is intended for tourists from the hotels closest to it, so they are given priority in visiting the beach. But everyone can come here and use this beach for a small fee, subject to availability. In December and January, it is crowded here. The beach is well suited for families with children, as the breakwaters enclose a section of the sea and the water here is always calm.

5th place. Zoklet beach

If there is absolutely bad weather in Nha Trang, and you do not lose hope to swim and sunbathe, then go to the north of our province, to Zoklet beach. This beach is located along small fishing villages, and also includes the territory of several hotels. The way here from Nha Trang will take about an hour and a half. But the most important thing is that during bad weather in Nha Trang, absolutely cloudless and hot weather can remain here!

Beach in Nha Trang, what is it like? It is long. The length of the beach is about 5 kilometers. Wide. Sunbathing tourists do not occupy the entire space. Pretty clean for a city. We like the beach in Nha Trang. On the first day, as soon as they saw him, immediately there was a desire to swim in the sea and lie down on the sand.

Nha Trang beach

The advantage of the beach is that it is surrounded by mountains and islands. It's nice to walk around and see such beauty from all sides. Sun loungers belong to hotels on the coast. But you can rent them if you want. This pleasure will cost about 100 thousand dongs ($ 5).

The number of tourists on the beach in Nha Trang is small and there are always free places

The tower in the photo is empty, but there is always a group of lifeguards on the beach. Vietnamese lifeguards walk along the beach and look after vacationers.

And the palm trees here are just the way I like them. Thin and tall

Sea in Nha Trang: is it possible to swim?

Yes. According to our observations, optimal time for swimming in Nha Trang from 8 to 10 am. At this time, the water in the sea is perfectly clean and calm. See for yourself:

The sea in Nha Trang without waves can be found until about 10-11 am

The closer to the evening, the more waves, and from this the water becomes cloudy and becomes brown. Also, by lunchtime, the current takes out the garbage, with which you don’t want to swim at all. After all, it is so unpleasant to touch something in the water when swimming, some bags or cups.

We are waiting for the weather by the sea

Perhaps the waves and the purity of the water in the sea depend on the season. In some months, it is quite possible that the water remains clear all day, but in September and October, the clear sea can only be found in the morning.

In the far left corner of the beach (behind Nha Trang center) and in the far right (towards cable car on Winperl) there are always fewer tourists.

Who rests in Nha Trang

The contingent of vacationers on the beaches of Nha Trang consists mostly of Russian women 45-60 years old and their husbands. Interesting feature. The second line is occupied by couples with children and, last but not least, young people. Nationalities: Russians 70%, Vietnamese 20%, Europeans, Chinese and other foreign tourists - 10%.

Our observations

For 2 months of living in Nha Trang, we noticed the following features of tourists. Mostly our compatriots who have flown in from Krasnoyarsk, Novosibirsk, Kemerovo, Chelyabinsk, Perm and other Siberian regions rest here. As a rule, ladies spend their holidays in Vietnam with their children, less often with their husbands. If with a husband, then he usually has a mustache, his face expresses slight displeasure, tense, constrained, dressed in a linen oversized wrinkled shirt and a captain's cap, always a little sloppy.

- For lunch we will take lobsters again, and then we will go to the pearl shop, which the guide recommended
- Don't forget the crocodile skin wallets!

- We'll tell Lyudka where we were - she won't believe it!

The Vietnamese go to the beach closer to 5-6 pm, when the sun stops baking and they can be calm about their skin color. They usually bathe in groups in front of the lifeguard post.

Vietnamese children are most often for some reason ill-mannered, arrogant and noisy, often get under their feet, stepping on them. For we have lost the habit of children's crying and screaming, in Vietnam, children are very capricious and naughty. It was also noticed more than once that the Vietnamese were beating them. This has not been seen in other Asian countries. And one boy was the star of the evening. Parents tried and cut his hair so fashionably that he was different from all children, passers-by could not pass by.

There are no stray bald dogs on the beach

Another advantage of the beach. For a month we have not seen a single stray dog on the beach, which is so accustomed to in other countries. The Vietnamese sometimes relax on the beach with their pets. As in Thailand, in Vietnam, purebred dogs are now in vogue. It is frustrating that the Vietnamese get themselves such small decorative dogs. More than once we observed how children-flayers behave with them. Apparently, they do not understand that a dog is a living organism, not a toy. Yes, and bikes, including on the sidewalks, can be a danger to a small dog.

Some caring owners keep their pets warm, because in October it is +27

Promenade along the beach in Nha Trang

The promenade plays a big role on Nha Chang beach. The embankment is our favorite place in all of Nha Trang because it is the only place where you can safely walk, since mopeds are prohibited on it.

The famous lotus in Nha Trang

View of the hotels from the waterfront

Vietnamese flag on the square near the lotus

In the evenings, dances and chants are often arranged near the local house of culture.

During the day, the square is empty, and in the evening, Vietnamese teenagers change from bikes to skateboards and rollerblades

On the embankment, the atmosphere is relatively calm and there is no noise from the road.

View from the road

We come to the embankment every day. We walk, sit on benches or buy nuts and settle down on the sand.

Photo of the beach from the promenade

Just a few years ago, there was no smell of any ennobled embankment here. And now even the trees are trimmed by designer.

Vietnamese and sports

Toward evening, the Vietnamese occupy the embankment for sports. Look after your figure and health. Someone runs, someone works on simulators, someone just waves his arms with a serious look. Very athletic guys!

Vietnamese do sports

The embankment makes a great contribution to the life of the Vietnamese. This is a place to relax, a place to walk the dog, a place to train and a place where you can gather and eat while sitting on the beach. For us, the embankment has become a lifeline. The only place in Nha Trang where sometimes you don't even want to go home.

Rest on the waterfront

Nha Trang beach reviews

For our picky taste, the beach in Nha Trang is very good. It is clean, there is plenty of space, there are no annoying merchants. The sand, however, is not ideal, large and yellow. The water in the sea is clean and transparent only in the morning, by the afternoon garbage appears, the waves intensify and it becomes cloudy. But this is most likely a seasonal phenomenon, in other months it can be cleaner, and we were in September and October. So, they noted for themselves that it is best to swim in Nha Trang early in the morning.

Since Nha Trang beach is public, everyone will rest on it, tourists from expensive hotels, local middle class and even occasionally Russian cattle (“tagiil”) comes across. Apparently, some highly cultured citizens got fed up with Turkey and headed for exotic vietnam. But, I am glad that there are only a few of them, basically all our compatriots here are very decent.

Which beach in Nha Trang to choose? Which one is considered the best? Reviews of tourists, the pros and cons of beaches, ways to get there. Beach map.

Nha Trang - popular Vietnamese resort with long sandy beaches and well-developed tourism infrastructure. Let's try to find out on which beaches of Nha Trang, according to tourists, it is best to relax, and also give our assessment.

Description of the beaches:

Map of Nha Trang beaches in Russian

This is the most famous beach Nha Trang, which is a sandy strip several kilometers long. You can get to the city beach of Nha Trang from almost anywhere in the city, the main landmark is Tran Phu Street, along which public transport runs.

The sand here is coarse, yellow in color, with an admixture of shells and small pebbles, the entrance to the sea is almost everywhere deep. The beach itself is regularly cleaned and cleaned. Stretches along the beach beautiful embankment with neatly trimmed trees, playgrounds, exercise equipment and cafes.

South part the beach is more comfortable than the northern one. There are sun loungers and umbrellas offered various entertainment vacationers: banana rides, jet skis, parachuting.

Zoklet Beach (Doc Let)

Zoklet is perhaps the most advertised beach in Nha Trang, many consider it the best in the resort. This is a typical bounty beach with white powdery sand, rare palm trees along the coast and turquoise water. Located at a decent distance from Nha Trang - almost 50 km from the city. To get to this beach, you need to book an excursion or rent a bike, you can also get there by bus number 3. The beach has hotels, restaurants and shops. Renting a sun lounger will cost from 100,000 dong.

pros

  1. The beach is large, its length is almost 10 km, with developed infrastructure and white sand. Sometimes there are many tourists here, but if you wish, you can find a secluded place to relax.
  2. According to the reviews of tourists, seafood is deliciously cooked on Zoklet, moreover, inexpensively.

Minuses

  1. Zoklet Beach is located at a decent distance from Nha Trang, and it will be difficult to get there without personal transport, especially if you are relaxing with children. The road to the beach will take at least 1.5 hours, so the taxi option is no longer expensive. Most cheap way- bus, the most convenient (for us, at least) - bike.
  2. Most services are paid - you will have to pay for parking and renting a sun lounger. Parking costs about 5 thousand dong.
  3. There is a toilet in the free part of the beach, which we strongly advise against entering!

Personal experience. Despite all the rave reviews, Zoklet Beach did not particularly impress us. We were on the free part and found a lot of garbage on the sand and annoying owners of coastal cafes. The paid part of the beach is being removed. The sea is too shallow, but clean. In general, the place is nice, but the second time we would not come here - too far and long. They wrote that there are salt fields along the way, but we never saw them.

Paragon beach

Tourists also refer to the best beaches in Nha Trang as Paragon Beach, which is located in south side resort, near the cable car to winpearl island. You can get here public transport(bus number 4) or taxi. The beach belongs to the Paragon Hotel, so the entrance fee is 20,000 dong (55 rubles). Sunbed rental - 60 thousand VND.

Paragon Beach is very popular with family vacationers. sand strip narrow, but the sand is fine and soft. Fences play their role - there are never high waves here, as on the central beach of Nha Trang.

pros

  1. This beach is great for kids high waves, shallow water warms up well.
  2. The beach is located in the prosperous area of Nha Trang An Vien - there are luxurious villas around, so unhurried walks at sunset will bring a lot of aesthetic pleasure to vacationers.

Minuses

  1. The beach itself is small, due to the limited area it gives the impression of being crowded. You will have to pay for the entrance and sunbeds, but there are few sunbeds and not enough for everyone.
  2. Absence tourism infrastructure: no shops, cafes and entertainment. For a bite to eat, you can dine at the Paragon Hotel's restaurant.
  3. Shallow water.

Bai Zay Beach (Bãi Dài)

Bai Zai is a semi-wild beach, located 20 km from Nha Trang, on the site of the former military base. You can get from the city by taxi or bike in 15 minutes. The beach is long, almost 15 km long, with a gentle entrance and calm clear water. Small waves rise.

pros

  1. Pleasant to the touch White sand, clear water and smooth depth. The perfect place for romantics and lovers of secluded relaxation, locals rarely drop in here, and fishermen can be seen only in the morning and evening hours.

Minuses

  1. The infrastructure is still poorly developed. Natural garbage - algae, branches and the like - no one cleans up here. Part of the coast has already been bought by well-known hotel chains, and in a few years a beautiful resort area is expected here.
  1. The growing popularity of the beach has led to it becoming polluted and crowded in places.

Personal experience. We visited a deserted part of the beach - it is very calm and peaceful there, there was not a soul around. Some luxury hotel was being built nearby.

What is the best beach in Nha Trang?

In Nha Trang, any vacationer can find a beach that suits him. It is impossible to say with certainty which of them is the best - each meets certain requirements. Those who seek entertainment tasty food And good service, choose the city beach Nha Trang Beach. Vacationers with children will prefer the peace and tranquility of Paragon Beach, while romantics and newlyweds will prefer white powdery bounty beaches Zoklet and Bai Zay.

Overview of Paragon Beach

To be honest, there isn't much to see here. The beach is very tiny. The entire beach fit in the photo at the beginning of the article. 10-15 umbrellas with sun loungers, a small strip of pleasant fine sand and a fenced backwater for swimming without waves. That's the whole beach.

A beautiful view of the mountains opens from the sunbeds of Paragon beach

But people come here not for sunbeds and sand, but for a beach without waves. Often in winter and sometimes even in summer it is stormy on the central sea, the water becomes cloudy and takes out the garbage. And on Paragon at any time of the year, peace and quiet.

Most tourists come to Paragon Beach to swim with children, since it is safe to swim in the sea with a child here, there is neither depth, nor waves, nor dangerous currents.

Why are there no waves on Paragon? Firstly, due to the "artificial spit" or stone embankment, which closes the reservoir from the sea. And also here is a bay in which there are no waves, due to its location. The stone embankment and such a peculiar pool, apparently, were supposed to serve as a parking lot for yachts and boats of local residents. elite village. But then, apparently, it turned out that no one here especially had yachts, so they decided to make a beach.

The left side of the artificial bay. Several boats still moor here

Beach features: paid entrance, no toilet, nowhere to eat

  • Entrance to the beach costs 20 thousand VND ($1)
  • Sunbeds cost 60 thousand VND ($ 3)

The beach belongs to the hotel Paragon Hotel. If you stay at this hotel, then you do not pay for the entrance and sunbeds. If you just came on your own, you will have to pay at least the entrance. It is not necessary to take sun loungers, you can lie on your own bedding. IN high season There may not be enough sunbeds for everyone. We came here in January, there were free sunbeds.

There are no toilets and showers as of 2017. Also, there are no cafes directly near the beach. There is nowhere to eat and buy some water, you need to take something to eat with you.

This was not written about in other blogs, but on main street cottage village, on the territory of which this beach is located, there is one cafe with the original name "U Koli", a restaurant with a Russian menu. It takes about 5 minutes to walk from the beach in a straight line, it is located a little further from the Paragon hotel on the main street.

Embankment with palm trees

A little further than the beach, a concrete promenade was built, where you can take a walk or take pictures with beautiful view to the bay and mountains. There is no embankment, there is nowhere to sit, there is not a single bench. If only to sit on the edge. Probably, they wanted to do well, but it turned out, as always.

The village of An Vien

As I said above, the beach is located on the territory of the elite village of An Vien. Elite by Vietnamese standards. Yes, the villas are cool, of course, I don’t argue, they are clean and modern. But it seemed to us that everything was somehow untidy and uncomfortable, construction was everywhere, as in Nha Trang. Entrance to the territory of the village is free, at the checkpoint the guards do not ask anything.

Paragon Beach in Nha Trang reviews, pros and cons

I don’t know why everyone praises it so much, but among ourselves we jokingly call this beach a ditch. Shallow, stagnant water, unkempt territory on the sides, abandoned construction site and stones. In our fastidious opinion, Paragon Beach is about nothing. We didn't even go swimming.

If not for the mountains and beach umbrellas, then Paragon beach resembles a river somewhere near Chelyabinsk

But you don’t take our words seriously, since this beach has one indisputable advantage - it is a beach without waves in Nha Trang at any time of the year. Therefore, it is here that you can normally swim with children when there are big waves on the other beaches of Nha Trang. So, if you want to know which beach has no waves, then come to Paragon, but don't expect something special and exotic from it.

How to get to Paragon Beach from Nha Trang

You can get to Paragon Beach on your own by public transport or by taxi. A metered taxi will cost between 60-100 thousand dong.

The bus is cheaper. Just take bus number 4 in the European quarter, which goes towards Winperl (south). Ride up to final stop. The fare is 7 thousand dong, payment to the conductor. If you are asked to leave a little earlier than the final one with the words "Winpearl", then just say "Paragon Beach". When we went to the beach, they wanted to drop us one stop before the final stop near some ticket office where they sell tickets for Winperl, but we said that we were going to Paragon.

From the final stop, you need to go a little back, about 50 meters, then turn left and go through the arch and the checkpoint to the village of An Vien. The entrance to the village is free, the guards will not ask anything.

Entrance to the territory of the village of An Vien

As you passed the checkpoint with the arch, you can immediately turn left, walk to the sea, and then along the coast to the beach. Just walk from the bus for 10 minutes walking step.

We talk about the beaches of Nha Trang in Vietnam. Sand, waves, is it convenient to enter the water, the availability of infrastructure on the beaches of Nha Trang, how to get there.

Most tourists only know about the main six-kilometer city beach of Nha Trang, but in the vicinity of the city there are several more beautiful beaches with excellent sand and an amazing atmosphere. In this article you will find information about all beaches of Nha Trang and how to get to them.

Nha Trang city beach (Tran Phu)

The main beach of Nha Trang, also known as Tran Phu, stretches for six kilometers of coastline, forming a magnificent arc. There are separate areas for swimmers where you can enjoy the water without worrying about boats and jet skis. Most popular places for recreation - the yacht club (Sailing Club) and the Louisiana tavern (Louisiane Brewhouse).

The southern part of Tran Phu beach in Nha Trang is considered to be quieter and more peaceful. This area has several good hotels With private beach which is kept in excellent condition; anyone can swim there. Here you can also rent a jet ski, ride a catamaran or find any other beach activity to your liking.

The northern part of the beach has sports grounds and excellent pedestrian zone where you can walk with great pleasure in the evenings. Best time, to sunbathe in the sun or cool off in the water - until 13:00, because after this time the wind from the sea can begin to carry sand particles along the shore.

During the rainy season, the city beach of Nha Trang does not look the best: the rivers framing it from both ends carry streams of water into the bay, which makes the beach sand look dull brown in cloudy weather.

Zoklet beach (Doc Let beach)

Zoklet Beach (sometimes called Doclet) is located 50 kilometers north of Nha Trang (red markers on the map). He is often referred to as one of the best beaches Vietnam and is constantly highly rated in various ratings. Zoklet beach is considered more calm, clean and beautiful place compared to the city beach of Nha Trang. Here you can appreciate the white sand and shallow turquoise sea, and on the beach you can find local fishermen who will sell or prepare delicious seafood dishes for you at an affordable price.

Zoklet beach stretched along the coast of Vietnam for almost 10 kilometers. Conventionally, it can be divided into three zones. The main tourist activity, shops and restaurants are concentrated in the northern part; here are excellent hotels with their own beach and inexpensive guesthouses. Best hotels in the northern part of Zoklet are the following:

The southern part is located on a quiet wooded cape, where you can enjoy peace and tranquility.

How to get to Zoklet Beach from Nha Trang:

There is almost no public transport to Zoklet, but you can get there by one of the city buses, as well as by moped or taxi. For more information on how to do this, read the articles:

Paragon beach

Paragon is the name of a hotel in the south of Nha Trang, which has its own beach of the same name. Anyone can visit Paragon Beach, but sunbeds are free only for hotel guests. If you want to stay in a hotel with a private beach, there are two hotels at your disposal:

In general, Paragon Beach looks better than Nha Trang city beach, as it is constantly cleaned and kept clean. Breakwaters are installed in the sea, so big waves does not happen here. You can get here by bus number 4.

Jungle Beach

Very beautiful beach, surrounded by jungles and mountains, is located 60 kilometers from Nha Trang (yellow marker on the map at the beginning of the article). There are several small resorts where you can rent a room or a bungalow. Not far from the beach there is a 12-meter waterfall where you can swim. On the sand along the sea there are single-sided bamboo structures that protect from the sun, if you wish, for example, to read while lying near the water. Of the hotels, we can recommend the three-star Wild Beach Resort.

Bai Dai Beach

Beach Bai Dai(sometimes also called Bai Dai) is on the way from Nha Trang to Cam Ranh Airport, about 30 kilometers from the city. The road is very scenic and you can really enjoy the views as you get to Bai Dai Beach. The beach itself is very beautiful and clean, and in terms of length - the longest of the beaches of Nha Trang and one of the longest in all of Vietnam.

IN this moment there is practically no beach infrastructure in this place, since more recently Vietnamese military installations were located here. But now they have already been disbanded, and luxury hotels are being built on the beach. One of the best at the moment is Mia Resort Nha Trang. In small restaurants on the beach you can buy food and drinks.

Get to Bai Dai Beach There are two ways: either by taxi, or on your own on a rented bike. If you choose a taxi, keep in mind that its name is pronounced Bai Yai in Vietnamese.

Dai Lanh Beach

This two-kilometer beach, located 85 kilometers north of Nha Trang(purple markers on the map), is a favorite vacation spot for local residents. The southern part of the beach is great for swimming and relaxing, and in the northern part there is a fishing village (you can also find inexpensive guesthouses there). The sea here is clean, turquoise in color, and the coast is covered with fine white sand.
