At the beginning of November we decided to make the hike Dakhovskaya-Novoprokhladnoye-Bolshoi Tkhach Mountain. We were in Thach in August about 5 years ago, so we decided to remember what the most beautiful mountain In November))

I’ll briefly tell you how to get to Dakhovskaya by public transport.

Getting from Krasnodar to Maykop is not difficult. Buses run every hour. We like to get there by minibus, which leaves from the bus station at 4 am; it should arrive at Maykop almost at 7 am, but by some miracle it arrives at 6 am! Moreover, we have already driven it twice, closed our eyes, 15 minutes pass and we are already in another city. It’s just some kind of miracle, the fastest minibus, we’ll probably just teleport in space)) The price is about 300 rubles.

From the bus station in Maykop you need to walk 20-30 minutes to the bus station. From there there are buses to different villages. We wanted to take the bus at 6.50 Maykop - Guzeripl, which passes by Dakhovskaya, but alas, the bus broke down, and this happens often, judging by the stories of the driver himself. His salary is a pittance, and he does the repairs at his own expense. What to do? It’s good that buses and minibuses go to Hadzhokh (Kamennomostsky) almost every hour, so we decided to go there. Tickets cost approximately 100 rubles. In time - 1-1.5 hours.

We reached Hadkhozh with a breeze, and from there we went 7 km along the highway to Dakhovskaya. We have never walked along this road, but the views are very beautiful: on one side there are cliffs, on the other there is a cliff into the Belaya River.

What sights awaited us?

  • On the road we came across a trail to the Mishoko River gorge (there are also waterfalls), the trail is only 1.6 km. It is impossible to miss the trail from the highway, because... There is a large diagram pointer leading to it.

  • We also came across a trail on famous waterfalls Rufabgo, they are paid, and as always there are a lot of cars near them.

  • Next we came across the Cossack Stone - a large block that divides the road into two parts, its height is more than 30 meters.

  • In front of the village of Dakhovskaya they found a huge clearing with a church and a monument, which reported that in 1920 114 Cossacks were shot in these places. The execution was carried out by the CHON detachment of Budyonny’s army in accordance with the directive on the total destruction of the Cossacks.

  • In front of the village across the Dakh River (on the left) there is an old bridge, it was built in 1906.

  • They also say that there are dolmens in the surrounding area, but what we liked most were the horses that grazed in front of the village.

In the village of Dakhovskaya itself there are many houses, many tourist centers, many tourists, but they also found destroyed old residential buildings. Eat grocery stores, post office, school. In general, such an ordinary little village.
