Borislav

The resort "Bukovitsa" on the outskirts of the town of Borislav (Drohobych district) opened only in early January, but has already become popular place pastime of lovers of winter sports. So far, there are only three slopes for beginners, two for experienced skiers and one for professionals. The main slope is over a kilometer long. But for beginners and children, a more gentle descent of 250 meters is provided.

We have two ski lifts and one multi-lift, so there are practically no queues, - said the staff of the Bukovitsa ski resort. There is also a ski and snowboard rental.

Price:

  • One rise - 10-20 UAH.
  • Rental of one set of equipment - 100 UAH.

How to get there?

By bus Lviv-Borislav from Dvirtseva Square (near the Main railway station). The fare is about 50 UAH.

Another popular ski resort among Lviv residents is a 30-minute drive from Lviv in the village of Polyana (Mykolaevsky district). There are three tracks here (the longest is 900 meters), where you can go not only skiing or snowboarding, but also snowtube. There is a ski lift at 700 m and a baby lift. There are practically no queues for the lift. But the main difference from most ski resorts in the region is that you can ski here even in the evening - until 21:00.

For those who are just planning to start skiing, there is a special school where experienced and patient instructors will show and teach all the intricacies of this sport.

Equipment rental and a café are also available on site.

Price:

  • Subscription for 25 runs - 340 UAH. on weekdays, 420 UAH. on the weekend.
  • Ski rental - 100 UAH. per day (on weekends - 120 UAH).

How to get there?

Minibus Lviv-Polyana departs from the Stryiska-Nauchnaya intersection. The fare is about 15 UAH.
