  • For more than half a century, television has been one of the main ways to convey information to many people at the same time, as well as a way to relax after a working day and have fun on weekends.

Technological progress is moving by leaps and bounds, both the types of broadcasting and the availability of television for the population are changing.

    How TV started

The date from which Soviet television began its countdown is April 29, 1931, when the first television image was broadcast.

Since then, the development of technology has not stood still. If in Soviet times two TVs per family were a luxury, and the whole family (and sometimes neighbors) gathered to watch evening programs on a single TV channel, now you will not surprise anyone with TV broadcasting on a tablet or laptop anywhere with Internet access.

    Essential TV

The most, perhaps, the main television in Russia is terrestrial. For its distribution in all cities, television towers have been installed - repeaters that amplify the incoming signal.

Due to the mass character and centralization of this type of broadcasting, the main TV channels have become available to the inhabitants of Russia even in small, remote corners of the country.

In order to receive the broadcast signal at home, you need to install an antenna for yourself and connect it to the TV. You can also use a common, community antenna if you live in apartment building.

Terrestrial television is analog, but in Lately more and more clear, digital broadcasting began to spread faster and faster. In order to receive digital terrestrial television, you need to have a TV with a built-in ability to switch the signal from analog to digital. If this is not the case, you can use special TV tuners (set-top boxes for TVs).

Due to the universal prevalence of terrestrial TV, advertising placed on it helps to reach the widest range of consumers.

    Cable TV

From the point of view of audience coverage, such television occupies a niche opposite to broadcast television. Its main goal is not mass broadcasting and bringing television programs to the highest possible more viewers, but diversity and meeting the needs of people with different interests.

Cable TV is characterized by a variety of channels of completely different subjects. Those who are interested in sports can watch broadcasts of various competitions. For families with children, there are specialized children's and educational channels. There are TV channels that show news programs, movies, music videos or entertainment programs around the clock.

To connect to cable TV, you need to contact the nearest operator (often they also provide Internet services). If you live in an apartment building, then there is probably one or more companies that are willing to arrange a paid subscription for you and stretch the cable to the apartment.

    Satellite television

Satellite TV is another way to bring TV broadcasts to viewers. Such television broadcasting is carried out with the help of numerous satellites flying in near-Earth orbit.

To receive a satellite signal at home, you need to buy a special antenna (“satellite dish”) and place it on the roof of the house or on the balcony. For residents of some remote areas, this is the only way television can reach them.

The coverage of most of the Earth's surface by satellites is achieved by their specific location in orbit. They are located along the equator and move at such a speed that it will seem to the observer that they are constantly at the same point in the sky.

Unlike terrestrial, satellite TV receives its main income not from advertising, but from subscribers' subscription fees. Until recently, the purchase of a satellite television set was far from affordable for everyone, but the situation is gradually changing.

    Online TV

In this age of the ubiquity of the Internet, online TV is a way to stay in even being far from home and any room with a TV.

In addition to accessibility, the main advantage of interactive (online) television is the flexible management of subscriptions to TV channels, among which you can always choose exactly those that are of interest at the moment.

Another advantage of this type of broadcasting is the absence of reference to the time of transmission of programs. The subscriber can always pause the program of interest or view it later in the recording.

    How to choose?

There are several criteria by which you can choose the best type of television broadcasting for yourself.

Now only cable and satellite TV have it, but it may also appear on terrestrial after the widespread transition to digital terrestrial television. For cable TV, the fee is fixed and usually includes 100 channels (in addition to the main broadcast channels). The price is regulated by the number of connected TV channels.

Equipment. TV towers and antennas for receiving terrestrial TV in cities are installed everywhere and usually do not require the purchase of separate equipment. For remote areas or holiday villages the best option will purchase a set of satellite TV. It is most convenient to connect cable TV along with the Internet from the operator serving your home.

Signal reception. For multi-storey buildings, the clearest image is achieved using cables, while outside the city it would be better to connect to a satellite dish. Analog terrestrial TV is suitable for those who are used to using the TV as a background and do not pay attention to signal quality.

Exactly 110 years ago, the US government acquired "forever" the entire zone of the future Panama Canal for a symbolic price, the size of an annual rent, which allowed the construction of the greatest shipping canal in the history of mankind to begin. By this date, we have prepared an overview of the most prominent shipping channels on the planet.

This canal is called the crowning achievement of engineering thought of its time, the greatest canal in the history of mankind and one of the most important water economic objects. And also Panama Canal known as the "Bridge of the Americas".

The Panama Canal connecting the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans, is a system of locks and water intakes that "equalize" sea levels between two oceans. This canal, whose length is 77 km, was opened on June 12, 1920, but even today it remains one of the most important shipping routes of great economic value. Its construction has become one of the most complex and capacious projects in the history of mankind.

It is a known fact that the 28th President of the United States, Woodrow Wilson, made a symbolic pressing of the button to open the channel directly from his office. That for that time was an unprecedented fact. After pressing the button, the signal went by telegraph to Panama and the explosives on the dam detonated. The explosion led to the fact that the waters of the artificial lake Gatun filled the Culebra channel, and ships were able to ply between the Pacific and the Atlantic. Today, the Panama Canal is not only the most important shipping route, but also a popular tourist attraction. Coordinates on Google Maps: 9.08000001,-79.68000001

The opening of the canal connecting the Mediterranean Sea and the Red Sea took place in 1869. is a conditional border between Africa and Eurasia. The channel was conceived as an alternative sea route from the Mediterranean to Indian Ocean. Its length is 163 km, the width along the bottom ranges from 45-60 meters, and the depth is about 20 meters. The canal is an important economic and strategic object, connecting two major ports: Suez and Port Said.

Today, the Suez Canal, along with oil production and tourism, is one of Egypt's main sources of income. An average of 48 ships pass through the canal per day, and it will take about 14 hours to cross the canal. Coordinates on Google Maps: 30.70500001,32.344166676667

The White Sea-Baltic Canal (Belomorkanal) was erected by prisoners of the Gulag. The construction of this canal was a real tragedy for national history and a symbol of industrialization. The canal was built in record time (1 year and 9 months) and became an important water artery for shipping, which it still is today. The total length of the White Sea-Baltic Canal from Lake Onega before White Sea 227 km, depth 4 meters, width 36 meters. The channel includes 19 gateways.

In the USSR in 1932, cigarettes "" with a very high resin content were produced, which became popular because of their low price. Coordinates on Google Maps: 62.80000001,34.80000001

There is also a giant channel in Germany. It is called the Middle German Canal and is an important navigable artery, connecting the Rhine via the Dortmund-Ems Canal and the Rhine-Herne Canal with rivers such as the Elbe, Weser, Ems and the lake with the Oder. The length of the Middle German Canal is 325.7 km. This channel is known for its extremely picturesque views on its banks, which attracts many tourists to these places, as well as for bridges and unusual buildings for crossing ships. The most famous on this canal are the Minden and Magdeburg navigable canals, which to this day attract crowds of onlookers.

The Geta Canal is a waterway that connected the Baltic and North Seas in the first half of the 19th century. The channel represents shortest way between these seas. The channel was opened on September 26, 1832, belongs to Sweden and has served faithfully for decades for its trading interests. However, over time, the tonnage of merchant ships changed and the need for a canal faded. The length of the Geta Canal, which, by the way, has 58 locks, is about 420 km. Today, the Geta Canal has become an object of interest for tourists, lovers water trips and sailing. Every year, thousands of tourists and athletes gather here.

Klong is the most complex system of canals, the "Asian Venice" spread out in the central part of the plains of Thailand. For centuries, the Klong has been the main waterway in Thailand. It was only thanks to this canal system that merchants and travelers managed to get from one corner of the country to another. Unfortunately, with the development of shipping, due to its engineering characteristics, Klong ceased to be of any economic interest. Many channels of this system have been filled up in our time. It was possible to return the canal to its former glory thanks to the development of tourism in the country.

The Augustow Canal is a navigable route between Poland and Belarus. This monument of hydrotechnical architecture connects the Vistula River with the Neman River and is located in a UNESCO protected area. The length of the canal is 101 km. It includes a complex system of locks and movable motes.

The initiators of the construction of the Augustow Canal were Xavier Drutsky-Lubetsky, the Minister of Finance of Poland and Stanislav Staszic, a Polish public figure. The decision to build this canal was made personally by Emperor Alexander I, after the project, prepared on 500 sheets by a group of military engineers headed by Ignaty Prondzinsky, was considered by a special technical commission in St. Petersburg. The need to build a canal arose after Prussia introduced high customs duties for sea freight carriers heading to the Baltic ports in the first quarter of the 190th century.

It is known that more than 7 thousand workers of different nationalities worked on the construction of the Augustow Canal: Russians, Belarusians, Poles and Jews. In the documents of that time, information was preserved that the Jews were engaged in the construction of the canal, perhaps the most time-consuming and dirty, but at the same time the most highly paid work - they scooped up water from ditches.

For quite a long time, timber was rafted along the Augustow Canal. Walked along the canal and "Berlins" - wooden ships that transported goods. When moving against the current, horse teams were used, and sometimes barge haulers.

Today, the Augustow Canal is a kind of Mecca for water tourists who come here from all over the world. Coordinates on Google Maps: 53.866666667667,22.966666667667

The Corinth Canal, which is only 6 km long, is considered the shortest navigable artery. At the same time, the depth and width allow even the most big ships, and it is simply impossible to overestimate its importance for Greek shipping. It will not lose its relevance, if only because it attracts a large number of tourists. The hallmark of the Corinth Canal is its high walls - up to 76 meters above the water. The Corinth Canal is impressive from any angle and is a real paradise for extreme sportsmen.

A very unusual record is associated with the Corinth Canal. Many riders dreamed of jumping over this channel, and Robbie Maddison was able to fulfill the dream of extreme sportsmen. In 2010, he accelerated to 125 km/h in his Honda CR500, flew over the canal and landed on it. opposite side. Max Height jump - 95 meters. Maddison said that the most difficult thing for him was to overcome the acceleration lane and his fear. Coordinates on Google Maps: 37.934444454444,22.983888898889

Kiel Canal connecting the Baltic and North Sea, located in Germany. It got its name in honor of the bay of the same name and the city of Kiel. Today, this canal, 98 km long and over 100 m wide, is one of the busiest canals in Europe. The canal has been in use since 1895. Traffic on this canal is organized with German punctuality, and all large ships are accompanied by a pilot. With an enviable frequency on the channel are arranged ferry crossings. It is noteworthy that until 1948 it had a different name - the Kaiser Wilhelm Canal.

What is the difference between satellite television and cable, digital and analog and how to choose the type of broadcasting - let's try to understand the intricacies of this issue.

First, let's look at broadcast types. There are only three of them:

    - Broadcasting. In this case, the channels are broadcast using television towers. To receive this type of broadcast, you must have an antenna to receive the signal.

    - cable broadcasting. It is delivered to the consumer by companies - cable operators. In this case, the signal is transmitted over a cable, which must be carried out by specialists to your apartment, if you contact them, of course.

    - satellite broadcasting. Satellites distributed over the Earth's equator at an altitude of 36,000 km broadcast channels. To receive a signal from satellites, you need to acquire antennas - "dishes" aimed at them.

Broadcast and cable television is of two types - analog and digital. They differ in the way the signal is transmitted. The analog signal in terms of image and sound quality is significantly inferior to the digital one, in which, by the way, the number of broadcast channels also increases. Due to the unambiguous advantage, the latter is gaining more and more popularity. In the case of satellite television, digital has completely replaced analog broadcasting.

In order to work with a digital signal, the TV model must be suitable. In the event that this is not the case, you can use the receiver. This device converts a digital signal into another format that is understood by this technique.

It is important to know that digital broadcasting formats for the air, cable network and satellites will be completely different. European standards look like this:

    • DVB-T- broadcasting
    • DVB-C— cable broadcasting
    • DVB-S And DVB-S2— satellite broadcasting standards. The latter is more modern and promising.

What are the criteria for choosing a broadcasting model?

Subscription fee. To date, this is provided by cable and satellite TV, terrestrial will join them immediately after the transition from analog to digital broadcasting. For satellite operators, the size of the subscription fee depends on the number of TV channels and their topics. Gradually, this approach is being introduced by operators cable television, and in the future it will certainly spread to the ethereal model.

Necessary equipment. Each type of signal delivery requires certain technical equipment - an antenna for receiving and a TV or TV tuner that supports the desired type of broadcast. Prices for these devices vary - this point should also be taken into account when choosing.

Acceptance conditions. In order for the signal to be transmitted without interference, it is necessary to take into account the features of the type of broadcast and the conditions for its reception. That is, if you watch TV in a country house far outside the city, then the best option there will be satellite TV. If you live in the city on one of the last floors of a high-rise building, then you can safely choose broadcasting.

If your house, on the contrary, is low-rise, then the method of signal transmission via cables is suitable (if your house is connected to cable television).

your preferences. Some people need a few public channels, while others want to have access to a wide variety of them. Each satellite and cable TV operator has a different set of offered sites, so you should focus on your interests.

There is an opinion that satellite television is better than others, but such a statement is debatable. If the broadcast is digital, then, regardless of the method of signal transmission, the image can have a very high definition.

The coverage of rowing, motor and sailing competitions and trips by the media and television in Russia seems to be insufficient. First of all, rowing competitions on sports courts are shown, taking place as part of the Olympic Games, less often - world and European championships. In some cases, competitions in motor sports are shown, first of all - slalom, carried out in pairs. These competitions are considered, probably, as spectacular, but their demonstration is irregular.

Central Television in its news programs is now covering the reception in Vladivostok of the Kruzenshtern barque, which is carrying out training circumnavigation. At the same time, however, only the very fact of such a voyage is noted, but not its details.

On the air of Central and St. Petersburg television, sailing competitions with details and subtleties of their conduct (search for the best wind and wave conditions, detailed work of the crew with sails, navigation instruments) were shown on the night air in 2001, when they showed the most prestigious competitions for the America's Cup. As you know, the America's Cup is attended by the most expensive yachts. Competitions take place in a one-on-one format. First, "defenders of the cup" - representatives of the United States and "applicants" - yachtsmen of other countries are identified. Thus, the competition breaks down into a number of martial arts. The programs showed tactical confrontations: how the crews block the wind for each other, how they look for the best weather and so on. The broadcasts showed video footage of Western companies, commented in Russian. Unfortunately, the author was unable to find domestic filming of the same degree of detail and illustration.

The most active reporting on water competitions is broadcast by sports programs during the Olympic Games. Here is a schedule of competitions in aquatics broadcasts at the Olympics with a note about the display of these competitions on the Sport TV channel from the 2008 Olympic Games.

As we can see, the volume of broadcasts from the analyzed competitions is small. During the first week, sailing competitions were not covered even once, rowing and water slalom - once outside of prime time. It should be noted that both the competitions themselves and their winners were briefly mentioned in the news programs. Brief (1-3 minutes) stories were shown in news reports both by the Sport channel and by the first channel.

On the TV channel "Sport" in the short editions of the "Calendar of Sports Achievements" they mention achievements in the field of sailing, for example, single transatlantic crossings or records in single and team circumnavigations.

Events such as the SPA Regatta and the Kiel Regatta in 2008 were shown on the Eurosport channel and the Grandstand channel has been showing many regattas of this level for several years now. The 2007 Tornado World Championship was broadcast in its entirety on US cable TV and radio networks. The 2008 ISAF Championships in the Olympic Classes had excellent television coverage in the UK and on European satellite channels. In Russia, two official all-Russian sports TV channels regularly broadcast sailing regattas - these are 7TV and Channel 41. In Novosibirsk, three television channels - NTN4, NTN12, Channel 10 have been broadcasting all the main events at regional sailing regattas for several years now. Last year, sailing races began to be broadcast in Novosibirsk on Channel 49 as well.

Unlike Novosibirsk, St. Petersburg television channels very rarely show water sports competitions. Rowing regattas are covered in news programs, where no more than one or two minutes are allotted for showing episodes of competitions. Sailing events are shown in the context of city festive events. So, in 2003 and 2004, the City Festival (in 2003, the 300th anniversary of St. Petersburg was celebrated), yachts were brought to the Bolshaya Neva to participate in laser show” with illumination of sails and demonstration competitions, which could be observed by spectators gathered on the embankments of the Neva. Reports on these events were shown in TV news programs. They were repeated quite often and attracted the attention of the audience. In the news programs, attention is paid to the opening of navigation in the largest club in the city, as well as summing up the results of the city's sailing week (second half of August).

Occasionally, analytical and sports reviews are broadcast on the channel. A recent example: On 21.04.08 a forty-minute program dedicated to the development of windsurfing was shown. Fragments of races, elements of "aerobatics" were demonstrated. It was told about the history of the emergence of sports, technical improvement and prospects.

Considerable attention is paid to the coverage of sailing competitions by the regional television of Ukraine. Describing the successful performances of young yachtsmen of the Odessa Children's and Youth Sports School (DYuSPSH) "Chernomorets", the coach of this school A. Komlev notes: "Certainly, without the support of certain structures, the team could not cope with the difficulties of the 99 season, and here I would like to thank management of the creative and production studio "Atlanta", the advertising agency "Elitt", the magazine "Shipping", the companies "Katran" and "Aquaton".

Special thanks to Konstantin Mikhailovich Prokhorovich - the head of the Department of Physical Education of the Water Institute, as well as the author and host of the program "Stronger than Fear" Ruslan Zelenyak, thanks to whom sailing is increasingly present on the television screens of our city. In the television programs of Odessa, there are often indications of programs broadcasting competitions in the sea area adjacent to the city. The information is accompanied by colorful photographs.

The greatest attention is paid to the coverage of the competition, called "Operation Sail". It's not so much a competition as a hike large ships considering their speed. The main goal is the professional training of cadets of nautical schools and schools different countries. Except training sailboats large sports yachts are allowed to the regatta. Campaigns "Operation sail" are usually carried out in the waters of the Northern and Baltic Seas. Russian ports are rarely used. One can recall the regatta of 1996, when the arrival of the squadron large sailboats was taken as a holiday. The participants of the regatta moored at the embankment of the Bolshaya Neva on Vasilyevsky Island and the townspeople enthusiastically visited the ships, got acquainted with the sailors. The action was widely covered in the press, including television reports. However, the transformation of a one-time action into a tradition did not happen.

In some cases, news television notes difficult, and in some cases scandalous situations in the analyzed sports:

“The yacht club will be returned to the city

ST. PETERSBURG, March 5. Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Federation Council Alexander Kotenkov discussed with Governor Valentina Matvienko the issue of returning the St. Petersburg Yacht Club of Trade Unions "to the bosom of the city." He told about it today to journalists in Smolny. According to him, the yacht club of trade unions has always been the Central Yacht Club of Leningrad, and then "there was an incomprehensible change of ownership." Kotenkov noted that the Sailing Federation proposes, without offending the trade unions, to create a united city yacht club, the founders of which will be the trade unions, the city administration and the Sailing Federation. In his opinion, this will allow "to revive the once largest yacht club in the country."

At the same time, the president of the Sailing Federation said that there were no plans to change the owner of the club before the championship, since “if you start organizing events to unite now, then due to a possible discord between the owners, the world championship may not take place at all.” Therefore, the unification will take place after the world championship. Kotenkov explained that the city owns the land, the quay facilities, the city's higher sports school, and the trade unions own some of the buildings. In addition, there is also a private shipyard.

According to Kotenkov, the Sailing Federation does not claim any property, and who owns its specific shares should determine the city and the Federation of Independent Trade Unions of St. Petersburg and Leningrad region. Nevertheless, the Sailing Federation will be among the founders of the intellectual and organizational resource. “We are the only organization in the country that owns sailing technologies and the concept of what sailing is, so nothing will work there without us,” Kotenkov is sure.

In a number of cases, well-known St. Petersburg yachtsmen are invited to television programs. The press interview with V. Martus has already been mentioned. Special shootings are dedicated to his project. On December 10, 2005, Channel 5 aired an interview with the famous yacht captain I.M. Dementiev, dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the master of sports. Separately, let's talk about programs dedicated to the voyages of Fedor Konyukhov. These programs show not only interviews with the most famous navigator in Russia, but also episodes of his voyages, work on the rudder, with sails. The movements of Konyukhov's yacht, the weather conditions in which the voyages take place are shown. The NTV television channel positions itself as the official information partner of all F. Konyukhov's travels. The correspondents of the channel are going to take part in the coverage of the beginning journey on the buer through the most big Island in the world - Greenland.

Among programs about sailing, those that show the competition and the actions of the crews, the struggle with an opponent and excitement are rare. It makes sense to recall the cycle of popular science programs dedicated to the underwater expeditions of Zh.I. Cousteau, which were shown on a television screen in the 70s of the last century and popularized underwater sports. In the late 80s, demonstrations of underwater orienteering competitions were not uncommon. Sportsmen's actions and competition rules were professionally commented. The program was quite spectacular.

Here is a message indicating that the growing popularity active rest on the water is taken into account by TV journalists: “The long-awaited summer is coming and, probably, most of us are increasingly looking towards water bodies. This is not surprising, because water sports and recreation are among the most enjoyable and exciting activities. Whether you are a fisherman, a snorkeller or just a boating enthusiast, you will surely want to have your own boat at your disposal.

To a strange way to relax, risking their own health, called amateur water tourism, everyone comes in their own way. In some cases, an excess of romance, nostalgic, and therefore embellished memories of parents or acquaintances, are to blame for everything. In other cases, the cause is a lack of adrenaline. But, like most serious hobbies, water tourism is an intractable disease. And since you picked it up, it's time to find out about the accompanying equipment.

It is about this and will be discussed in the program "Smart Things", which will air on Tuesday, May 31. We are waiting for all lovers of water extreme sports at the TV screens at exactly 12 o’clock!”

If there are relatively few sports programs dedicated to sailing and other water sports, then in advertising episodes with the use of water sports equipment are quite common. First of all - in advertizing of deodorants. Somewhat less often - in advertising of tobacco products and alcohol. It may be surprising to note that the use of water sports competitions as a backdrop is practically not used in advertising of sports boats, sportswear and boat repair products. Tourist enterprises are also not active, although tours on a yacht, as well as yacht rental, possibly with crews or captains-instructors, are common in many countries where the tourism industry is developed.

Aquatic scenes are used as background in a number of adventure films shown on television. The most typical example is the movie "Secrets of Madame Wong". Here is a frame from the old adventure movie "The Count of Montecristo", shown on the RenTv channel on 22.04.06

As for the films, the plot of which would be stories about competitions and athletes, the author hardly remembers the only one about windsurfing, the plot of which, like directing, cannot be attributed to the author's creative successes. In adventure films and television series, characters constantly use underwater equipment, boats, less often - sailing ships to carry out reconnaissance or sabotage functions. However, these plots can hardly be attributed to sports plots. They don't promote the image aquatic species sports, because in the absence of PR support from sports programs, only an adventure story is perceived.

Among the films that can arouse interest in sailing races, we will name the children's animated serial film "The Adventures of Captain Vrungel". It should be noted that in this film the scenes related to the sea are professionally and competently made: the movement of water near the side of the yacht is not an animation, but a colorful shooting that makes you want to watch the waves run.

Thus, we see that socially significant sports need to be promoted mass media and especially television. The volume of broadcasts devoted to water sports (in this paper they are narrowed down to sports using sports boats, yachts and boats) is significantly small, which, on the one hand, is explained by the low interest of the audience, on the other hand, by the low quality of the display of competitions, which results in a misunderstanding by the audience. what is happening, his lack of passion, the effect of "sickness". V. Tikhonov notes that the audience of Krasnoyarsk unanimously voted for the replacement of reporting on sailing, which they recognized as the most unpopular, with reports on bandy matches.

The leaders of the Ricor holding, which promotes interactive television in Russia, strongly disagree with Tikhonov. This holding is going to launch four specialized sports channels, one of which will be devoted entirely to sailing.

Thus, the question arises, does it make sense to promote sports that are not popular, for what purpose to do this, with what funds and in what way?

A number of TV channels seem to think that aquatics are still exciting enough to profit from their broadcast, following the example of the TV companies. Western countries. For regional television, the choice of programs should be determined not only by mercantile considerations, but also by the interests of the region (which should also be formed and supported by the local administration). For St. Petersburg, interest in water sports is organic, and the involvement of residents in the sphere of these activities northern capital and the Leningrad region is an important social task (unlike the cities of Central Russia, Siberia). As the experience of tennis and biathlon demonstrations shows, any competition can be made spectacular if you approach the issue of displaying them creatively. Based on the analysis of the activities of the media in the "promotion" of vocal-instrumental groups and individual representatives of show business, it is natural to conclude that it is possible to form interest in certain programs. In this case, start-up investments should be considered as investments not only in the social, but also in the commercial sphere. Instead of today's place of chaotic lighting sporting events a concept, a methodology for generating interest in these sports among viewers is needed. In the next section of the work, the author offers his vision of promoting water sports (primarily sailing) in St. Petersburg on television screens.
