A city bus is the most budgetary and affordable option for zealous tourists. The fare from the airport to the city is about 90-120 baht, but other parts of the island can only be reached with transfers. Bus stops are located to the left of the arrivals hall on the first level and next to Burger King on the second.

The first bus departs for Patong at 8.15 am and the last bus leaves at 20.45 pm. There are 9 flights per day, so if you choose this mode of transport, you won't have to wait long.

Buses also run in the direction of Patong - Phuket Airport. At intervals of an hour and a half. The cost is 120 baht.

Such transport is not suitable for tourists arriving in the country at night.

minibus

You can also leave Phuket Airport with the help of minibuses, the stop of which is located near the exit from the hall international flights. In this way to get to Phuket or Patong, speed is attractive: transport loads quickly enough.

But the cost of the trip here is higher than the bus one - under 200 baht, and the driver has to pay about 50 baht extra for transportation to the hotel.

Taxi

A taxi is considered a worthy option, as fast and comfortable as possible, but at the same time quite expensive. Among the taxis, the taxi meter is the most popular: this method is somewhat cheaper, since only the number of kilometers covered by the meter is paid. But to this amount (on average, getting to Patong by the meter costs 350-450 baht) you should add an airport tax of 150 baht.

The limousine service operates on a fixed fee, systematically replacing the taxi meter: a trip on such transport will cost at least 700 baht. But you will be provided with an E-class car. Most often it is Toyota Camry.

Before the trip, be sure to check the price list, the dimensions of the car and the reputation of the transport company, so as not to get into an unpleasant situation.
