Bang Tao

Prices

As already mentioned, rest here is seriously more expensive than Pattaya. For example, the average cost of dinner in a good restaurant here will reach 900 THB. And for main dishes in local cafes you will have to pay from 50-60 THB. True, prices at McDonald's throughout the country remain stable - 200 THB for a combo lunch. And compared to restaurants in Phuket, prices for Western fast food no longer seem to be as biting here as they are in Pattaya. Almost the same prices for alcohol throughout the country - 50 THB apiece. Cans of beer can charge up only in cafes on the first line of beaches.

And here is what certainly pleases - low prices for seafood. In local supermarkets, you can buy sea fish or fresh squid at a price of 50-60 THB / kg, and a kilogram of king prawns will cost 200-230 THB. In cafes and restaurants, you can order Tom Yam or rice with seafood, where the vast majority of the plate space will be occupied by palm-sized shrimp, for 120-150 THB.
