Orlyonok is a federal state educational institution operating on the basis of legislation Russian Federation and its own Charter, which has a license to maintain educational activities. "eagle" is legal entity, has an independent balance sheet and separate property.
"Orlyonok" is a children's center that accepts teenagers aged 11-15 (students of grades 6-10) all year round for recreation and rehabilitation. All the living conditions of the children: life, nutrition, pedagogical programs are designed specifically for this age group. Children 10 years old and younger, boys and girls 16 years old and older will find it difficult to adapt to the children's groups of "Eaglet".
Depending on the program, the duration of shifts is 30 days in winter and 21 days in summer.
All children who come to "Orlyonok" are divided into groups of 25-30 people. Each group has 2-3 teachers. These are people with higher or secondary specialized pedagogical education who have undergone special training at the school of pedagogical workers of the center.
The center accepts children from all regions of Russia, near and far abroad belonging to different social strata and groups. Two and a half thousand children in the summer and about 800 in the winter can have a rest in Orlyonok at the same time.
The VDC Orlyonok hosts festivals of artistic creativity, military sports rallies, gatherings of young journalists, ecologists, sailors, and local historians. Children resting in the camp are not only spectators of these colorful and exciting events, often they themselves are directly involved in their organization and conduct. The basis of the menu is a daily set of products, developed and approved by the Institute of Nutrition of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences for the children's health centers "Eaglet" and "Ocean". The standard of a daily set of products meets the modern requirements of the life of children and adolescents, their stress, the state of health of children living in the northern territories of Russia, environmentally unfavorable zones.
The menu is designed for five meals a day, taking into account the calorie content of individual meals: breakfast - 25%, lunch - 35%, afternoon tea - 10-15%, dinner - 25%, second dinner - 5-6%.
The calorie content of the daily diet is 3750 kcal.
The menu, regardless of the season, always includes fresh fruits, a vitamin table. To comply with the water regime in the hot season, children receive additional fruit juices and drinks, bottled drinking water.
Every day for dessert - fresh pastries, various confectionery products in small packages, sweets, caramel, ice cream.

Dipping and bathing in the sea, sunbathing is carried out daily according to the daily routine - from 7.30 to 8.30, from 9.30 to 12.30, from 16.30 to 18.30 with favorable medical and climatic conditions- water temperature is not lower than +18 degrees, air temperature is not lower than +20 degrees, sea waves are not more than two points. When carrying out beach procedures, a medical worker and swimming instructors are always present. Watching the children from the sea is carried out by a lifeguard who is in the boat.
The child bathes only with his squad, in a certain sector under the supervision of a counselor and a swimming instructor. Bathing time is determined by a medical worker: stay in sea water in the first days of the shift is limited to 3-5 minutes and gradually increases to 20 minutes.
Children are not allowed to swim beyond the established fencing signs, use snorkeling equipment, be on the beach and enter the water on their own.

Medicine:

Swimming pool "Eaglet" - Olympic type with heated sea water with a temperature of 26.5 °. The size of the bath is 50 x 21 meters, the stands are designed for 600 seats. There is a tower with platforms for diving into the water with a height of 3, 5, 7, 10 meters. For non-swimmers, the pool has a small tub measuring 14 x 5 and 0.8 meters deep.
Swimming in the swimming pool is carried out in the autumn-winter-spring season on the days and hours provided for by the work plan and daily routine, 2-3 times a week.
Children who have not passed a medical examination and who do not have bathing accessories are not allowed to bathe or exercise. When swimming, a swimming instructor and a medical worker must be present.

Rules for the stay of children in Orlyonok:

Children in the camp are divided into groups according to age. In one detachment, on average, there are 25-28 children. Each squad has 2 leaders. Counselors organize sports and cultural events, check living conditions, monitor the state of health and are responsible for the safety of the child. You can contact the counselor with any question that the child has. However, the child must also understand that he is going to the children's group and must adhere to the rules established in this group.

Resting in the "Sun", the guys get acquainted with the history of "Eaglet", the unique nature Krasnodar Territory, visit the children's fire-technical exhibition, the House of Aviation and Cosmonautics, the astronomical observatory. Boys and girls discover and develop their talents by participating in gala concerts and evenings of the Eaglet song, replenish their knowledge by visiting the Pharmacy for the Soul (as the library is called in Orlyonok).
