In this city, new services and entertainment are born and implemented almost instantly: whether new attraction, sport or delicious ice cream. But the main brand of the resort - hospitality, warmth and friendliness - always remains unchanged. And those who are looking for reviews about holidays in Rimini often come across the phrase: "the staff is very courteous and smiling."

Rimini is the most visited Italian resort on the Adriatic coast, the birthplace of the eminent director Federico Fellini and just a place with an indescribable atmosphere, richest history And cultural heritage.

The territory of Rimini finally became part of the Kingdom of Italy only in the middle of the 19th century, and even then the active development of the aristocratic resort area began in the city. At that time, not everyone could relax here, but by the 20th century the city began to gain popularity, both among Italians and around the world.

Most tourists come here, of course, for the sake of numerous beaches, which are worth talking about separately.

Advantages of the beaches of Rimini

The coastline of Rimini is 15 kilometers of sandy and sandy-pebble zone, stretching from north to south. In total, there are 150 beaches within the city, equipped according to world requirements for comfort and safety.

Most of Rimini's beaches can be reached by public transport - There are separate stops for buses. The approach to the sea is decorated with paths, and each beach has its own design.

If the beach is assigned to the hotel, then it will almost certainly have Russian speaking staff. Our compatriots are treated with great respect here, and they try in every possible way to please, starting with service in our native language.

Absolutely all the beaches of Rimini absolutely safe for children. The entrance to the sea is so gentle that the first 10-15 meters you can safely wade without fear of "failing".

By the way, if a child wants to feel the sea, then it can be written in sailing school- weekly courses for children introduce the device sailing yacht, rules of conduct on the high seas and the basics of ship management. Here you can give your child to learn to swim - experienced instructors work all summer.

The issue of beach safety is the basis of holidays in Rimini. Lifeguard towers dispersed every 500 meters, and in some areas there are many more.

The mood of relaxation is created by the state animators and the incessant music from the loudspeakers. If that doesn't seem enough, you can always go to suburban area Riccione - the famous works there all summer Disco City.

Shopping enthusiasts can visit numerous the shops, built within walking distance from the beaches, and fans of sales - go to one of Outlets in Rimini dispersed in suburban areas.

Important: There is a flag alert system on the beaches of Rimini. A white flag signifies a calm environment. Yellow flag - strong wind is expected, and you need to close your umbrellas. Red flag - it is dangerous at sea due to wind and waves, or lifeguards are temporarily not on site.

The Italians themselves call the area Rivabella Kingdom of Dance. The fact is that all summer long evenings of ballroom and variety dances with training and master classes are held here. And if you consider that all this takes place on the sand, in the open air and with a free tasting of the best Italian wines, then the mood reigning here is very easy to imagine.

The beaches of Viserba and Viserbella

If on some site about the beaches of Rimini there are photos with impressive breakwaters, these are probably sections Viserba and Viserbella. The beaches in this area are special. extreme recreation- there are most of all sailing schools, diving and windsurfing clubs. But despite this, the waters of these beach areas are considered one of the safest places in Rimini.

The beaches of San Giuliano Mare

Area San Giuliano- this is the richest of the beach sectors of Rimini. There are most of all snow-white yachts, pleasure boats and marinas, from where tourists go on boat trips. Tourists love to walk along the pier and the promenade, preferring to walk exclusively on foot. A distinctive feature of the beaches and hotels of San Giuliano are discounts for students and youth companies.

The so-called Southern Rimini, or area Miramare- This is the closest recreation area to the airport, with all the ensuing consequences. Even at the end of the season, it is very crowded here, music is constantly blaring, and groups of animators are working. The Miramare area has the longest and widest beaches, as well as some of the most low prices for equipment rental.

Is it possible to relax on the beaches of Rimini for free?

Quite often, information appears on tourist forums that it is becoming more and more expensive to relax on the beaches of Rimini every season, and that you won’t be able to go to some parts of the coast without paying an “entrance ticket”.

In fact, this information is true - the owners of some beaches of Rimini really immediately charge tourists an entrance fee, but for this money, visitors automatically receive a seat on a sun lounger, an umbrella and even a towel. This rule works for the beaches at the hotels, and here, indeed, you can’t come with your own towel.

But experienced tourists they know that even in Rimini there are sections of beaches where you can relax for free, coming with your sunbeds, and no one will demand money from them. Such free zone are located between numbered beaches, and it is easy to find them - they are fenced off with overturned sunbeds or signs.

Of the advantages noted by tourists who have chosen the free beaches of Rimini, first of all, they talk about calmness - as a rule, there are few people here, no one bothers anyone, there are no annoying animators. The only rule here is not to litter.

But a significant drawback will be the obvious lack of grooming of such sections of the coast. Even if tourists do not leave piles of rubbish behind, sea waves sharp shells regularly wash up on the shore. Whether it is worth saving on such comfort is up to you.

The resorts of Rimini in Italy are one of the most popular and favorite holiday destinations in Europe. Here, on the coast of the Adriatic Sea, both the Italians themselves and connoisseurs of beach holidays from different countries peace.

Mild climate, warm sea, gentle sand on the beaches, a wide range of entertainment for both adults and children, and, of course, the city itself is interesting.

To all this beauty, you must add the possibility of shopping. Rimini is famous for its branded outlets and shops.

In our first trip to Italy, we did not hesitate to include this city. It remains to choose a beach and a hotel closer to the sea.

By the way, with the choice of housing in Rimini you will not have any problems. You can easily find all kinds of hotels, hotels, guest houses, hostels, apartments, etc. To help you, our favorite service for finding housing roomguru. The price of housing will depend on the service, services and location. Hotels in Rimini with their own private beach can cost more than a small hostel 200-500 meters from the coast.

I also recommend the service Airbnb. Through it, the owners themselves rent out their housing (a room, an apartment, a house, sometimes even a castle can be rented). We often use it. Now rented an eco-house on the coast Aegean Sea behind $29 in a day.

Rimini has over 200 beaches and 10 resort areas. Having studied them, we realized that each is good in its own way. Each zone has its own zest. In general, we got rid of the headache about the choice very simply: we poked a finger at the map. And they never regretted it.

Things to remember when preparing for the beach:

  • The fact that beaches can be paid and free.
  • Each beach offers its own service.
  • Beaches have rules. For example, you can’t sunbathe on the sand on your own towel, only in a sunbed provided by the beach administration. The exception is city beaches. There you can lie on whatever you want, but the sand there is not too clean.
  • The cost of services is worth comparing.

In this article, we decided to talk in detail about resort areas and the beaches of Rimini. Read on and choose your ideal beach.

Resort areas of Rimini

The beaches of Rimini stretch for 15 km along the entire city. The beach strip is wide and gently sloping. The entrance to the sea is smooth. The sand is fine, pleasant, the color of the sand is yellowish.

Once we heard from Russian tourists that Rimini had a dirty sea. I did not understand what they meant, because. The Adriatic Sea off the coast of Rimini is the most controlled in terms of cleanliness and ecology in all of Europe.

Many beaches have a "blue flag", and beach number 62 even has the status of the most environmentally friendly beach in Italy.

Perhaps these picky tourists said that during windy weather, the waves raise sandy fine sandy suspension from the bottom, then the sea loses its transparency. But this is the sea (fine sand here), and not Lake Baikal.

For two weeks of rest, we found this effect once or twice. In addition, waves can drive small plants to the shore. But, if we compare Rimini and Evpatoria, for example, then the sea and beaches of Rimini are much cleaner and more pleasant.

As I wrote above, there are more than 200 beaches. If you understand the scheme of their location, then it will be quite easy to navigate the place.

The coast of Rimini is divided into 10 beach areas. Each zone has its own name (read below). Each zone includes several beaches (from 5 to 50 beaches). All these beaches have their own number, and differ in the color of umbrellas and sunbeds.

The numbering starts from the city center, from Fellini Park, from beach number 1 and increases towards the south, ending at beach number 150.

Coastal area located north of the park Fellini, a little shorter. She has her own numbering from the same beach at number 1 to beach number 76.

Resorts and beaches of Rimini on the map

Rimini paid beaches

We are often asked: “So how much does a beach in Rimini cost?” We answer: all the beaches in Rimini are free. This means that you can safely walk along the beach, swim and go home. Or go further along the coast, to the next beach, which we often did. Those. no one will close the entrance to the beach itself. Come in, take a dip and move on.

Beach owners charge for sunbeds and umbrellas. Each beach owner has their own prices. On average, the price for 1 sunbed plus an umbrella is 8 euros.

Price information is current as of August 2016.

If there are two of you, then 1 umbrella and 2 sunbeds will cost you 15 euros per day. During the hot season, this amount can increase to 17 euros per day. This is on average.

What makes up the price

Beach prices vary. But they differ on the beach itself. Since the entire area of each beach is divided into 3 sectors.

  • By the sea with a sunbed without an umbrella. The price of 1 sunbed is 4 euros.
  • 1 sector by the sea (it is located after sun loungers without umbrellas). The price includes a sunbed + umbrella. Price for 2 sun loungers + umbrella 20 euros.
  • 2 sector. The farthest. Price for 2 sun loungers + umbrella 15-17 euros.
  • You can take 1 sunbed + umbrella. The price will be 8-10 euros.

If you have chosen one beach and want to relax on it for several days, then you can quite easily negotiate a discount with the owner of the beach (or the employee who accepts the payment), which I recommend that you do. Usually they go along.

In general, discounts are different: by the number of sunbeds (you take more sunbeds - the price is cheaper), by the number of days of payment (several days in a row on the same beach will be cheaper), when buying food or drinks in a bar on the same beach (bought to drink cola or a cocktail - you can lie down with a drink on a lounger).

It all depends on each individual beach. Price tags usually hang near the booth / house of the owner.

Small discounts can be given to you by hotel owners. As a rule, the hotel and the beaches closest to it have an agreement.

After you have paid for an umbrella and a sunbed, you are provided with a beach cabana, shower and (often free) sports equipment (rackets, volleyball, etc.)

Behind separate fee(2 euros per day) beach workers will provide you with a safe for storing money and documents.

You can not take a sunbed and an umbrella, but spread your towel and sit in front of the sunbeds near the water, in the ebb and flow zone. No one will make you pay for this place. But, if you move a little further, the beach administrator will politely ask you to leave. This is very strictly monitored on the beaches.

The beaches of Torre Pedrera

The Torre Pedrera area is located 7 kilometers north of the center of Rimini, its beaches stretch for 2 kilometers. The resort takes its name from an ancient watchtower built in the 17th century to protect the papal lands. The coastal areas of Torre Pedrera are one of the most beautiful in Rimini, and the prices are the most affordable.

The center of Rimini from Torre Pedrera can be reached in 20 minutes by bus.

The best beaches of Rimini

All the beaches of Rimini are good. We would now fly to any without question. But some, with increased security and special services, will be the best choice:

  • Beach No. 26 (Marino Centro),
  • Beach No. 63 (San Giuliano Mare),
  • Beach No. 127 (Rivazzurra),
  • Beach No. 144 (Mirimare),
  • Beach No. 10 (Rivabella),
  • Beaches No. 24-27 (Viserba),
  • Beach number 76 (Torre Pedrera).

Beach number 55 is considered the most comfortable and modern in Rimini, and the most "sporty" - 39 (Marina Centro), 85 (Bellariva), 104a / 104c / 105 (Marebello), 124 / 124a (Rivazzurra).

Sincerely,

If you are just planning your holiday in Rimini, we recommend choosing a hotel in the Marina Centro area, as the main attractions of this ancient city are within walking distance. You can see the prices and location of hotels on the map below.

The coastline of Rimini stretches for 15 kilometers. There are about 250 well-groomed beaches along the sea, which are regularly cleaned and equipped. The shallow and warm transparent sea, clean fine sand make them good place for holidays with children. Animators work for children, many entertainments are provided, including a school for vacationing children.

Quality sea water bathing suitability is regularly monitored here: a special report on the state of the sea is made every week. The assessment of water purity at each point can be seen on a special interactive map by selecting on the map the section of the coastline that interests you and changing the scale of the map.

Water temperature in Rimini in summer it warms up to 22-25 degrees in June, in July and August it already reaches 27-28 degrees and in September it begins to gradually decrease.

Rimini paid beaches, cost

The port located in central area city, divides the coastline into southern and northern parts. On the map of Rimini, the border between the northern and southern coasts is clearly visible, since at this point the coastline forms a ledge from which a pier begins, extending 200 meters into the sea. In addition, the coast is divided into zones: Marina Centro, Bellariva, Marebello, etc.

All beaches of Rimini have their own numbers. The numbering starts from the port with beach number 1, which can be referenced by the Ferris wheel visible from afar. Beach numbers are indicated at the entrances, and the border between them can only be distinguished by changing the color of umbrellas and sunbeds.

On google maps the numbers of some beaches are indicated, and if desired, you can determine which number is closer to your hotel.

Entrance is free everywhere, but you have to pay for the rental of sunbeds and umbrellas.

Here is how much it cost to use sun loungers and umbrellas for one day in August 2018 (with the option for Italian):

· Only sunbed (solo lettino) - 7.5 euros.

· Sun umbrella + 1 sunbed (ombrellone + 1 lettino) - 9 euros.

Sun umbrella + 2 sunbeds (ombrellone + 2 lettini) - 12 euros.

Sun umbrella + 3 sunbeds (ombrellone + 3 lettini) - 16 euros.

Sun umbrella + 4 sunbeds (ombrellone + 4 lettini) - 20 euros.

These are the prices of one of the beaches, on others the cost may vary slightly.

If you come for half a day (mezza giorno), then you can negotiate with the staff about a discount of up to half the price.

In all cases, ask to be given a cashier's receipt, which they call a "ticket", in order to confirm payment if necessary. For example, if you need to take the key to the changing cabin.

All other services, including a warm shower, a changing room, children's clubs, entertainment and sports grounds, as well as various events that are organized for vacationers, are free of charge, as they are included in the cost of sunbeds and beach umbrellas.

Few of the attendants know Russian, so a few phrases in Italian may come in handy:

Quanto costa? What is the price?

Dove si trova la toilette? I am looking for the restroom.

Dove si trova la doccia? Where is the shower?

Dove si trova la cabina per cambiarsi? Where is the dressing room located?

Un giorno. One day.

Mezza giorno. Half day.

Una settimana. One week.

Italian words are usually pronounced the same way as they are written.

There are no hotels in Rimini with their own fenced beaches, and the entire coastline is open to free access. In some hotels, the cost of using sunbeds and umbrellas is included in the price of your stay, so check this when booking a hotel.

Free beaches of Rimini (Spiaggia Libera)

The issue of saving will be relevant for many for a long time. Russian tourists, so this information, which allows you to save a tangible amount, will be useful. For example, for a family of three, a set including one umbrella and three sunbeds will cost 112 euros for 7 days. If you book a hotel near a free beach, then you save this money and can spend it on pleasant purchases or entertainment.

The city has several municipal spiaggia libera, which are on duty with lifeguards, some of them are equipped with changing cabins, showers and toilets.

Biggest spiaggia libera is located in the Marina Centro area, next to the beach number 1 of Rimini and the Ferris wheel, and reaches the pier itself (pictured below).

Despite the fact that this free beach is located in the central part of Rimini, it is not easy to get to it. From the nearest stop number 10 (Marina Centro) of city buses, you have to walk almost a kilometer.

Further in the text, the numbers of stops will be indicated more than once, so it is necessary to clarify that along south coast the city passes bus route number 11. The route starts from central station and comes to the town of Riccione (Riccione), and all stops of the route have serial numbers and names. These numbers and stop names will help you find the right places.

The next free beach on the south coast is located in the Bellariva zone between two paid ones: No. 86 and No. 87 (pictured below). Not far from it is stop number 21 (Firenze) of bus number 11.

Further south begins the Marebello zone. Two free beaches are organized in this area (pictured below): between paid beaches No. 105 and No. 106 (bus No. 11 stop No. 25 Rapallo), and also between No. 107 and No. 108 (bus No. 11 stop No. 26 Brindisi).

In the Miramare area, free beaches are located: between paid No. 139 and No. 140 (bus No. 11 stop No. 31 Oliveti); from No. 150 to Talassoterapico Talassoterapico (bus No. 11 stop No. 33 Miramare Camp); from the area opposite the airport to the border with Riccione (bus no. 11 stop no. 35 Teramo).

According to the tourist website of Rimini, on the north coast of the city there are free beaches in the San Giuliano area - opposite Piazzale Adamello, and in the Torre Pedrera area - at the exit to the sea along Tolemaide Street, next to beach 76.

Many are interested in whether it is possible to swim on paid beaches without paying for sunbeds. As a rule, no one forbids undressing, swimming and standing on the shore. And to sit on a towel to lie down and sunbathe is unlikely to succeed. Although in some places it succeeds, and no one disturbs those sunbathing on towels.

And, of course, you can absolutely freely walk along the entire city coast along the surf line, which is what many vacationers and local residents do.
