Holidays abroad in a year. Holidays abroad without a visa for Russians and cheap flights

For many novice travelers, the question arises of where to have a cheap vacation abroad and how to choose a country abroad for a cheap and comfortable vacation. Below I provide an overview of the most affordable countries in terms of prices and distance in descending order.

Where to have a cheap vacation abroad. Asia.

Cambodia. In the ranking of Asian countries, this kingdom in the southern part of Indochina ranks first among the places on the planet where you can spend a cheap vacation. The former Kampuchea attracts more and more every year with its affordable prices and natural beauties domestic tourists, and the safety of stay is no worse than in neighboring Vietnam and Thailand.

You can get to the country through Vietnam, from Hanoi airport, transferring to direct flights to Phnom Penh. Here at the airport you can apply for a tourist visa for 1 month in 30 minutes. 20 $.

I recommend flying to rest from November to May, in the summer there are real tropical showers and in winter time here is a great dry weather. Accommodation prices start from $10 per night in a hotel in the capital of the kingdom of Phnom Penh and $20 in the seaside resort town of Siankuville. Nice 3 course lunch at the restaurant and about $10 per person.

A pack of Marlboro cigarettes $1.5, tequila or martini $8. Renting a car for a day in the capital costs about $6-8. A day trip to Angkor with a tour costs $20. In general, it can be seen that the country has great potential for the development of tourism, and with it an increase in prices. But compared to its neighbors, Cambodia is in the first place from the list of countries where you can have an inexpensive vacation abroad for almost $20 a day.

Thailand. The second place among Asian countries where you can inexpensively relax at any time of the year. This country is especially popular among lovers of budget tourism and long-term (up to six months) accommodation on the coast. Gulf of Thailand. It is worth knowing that the calculation in the country is made only in the local currency, baht, 1 ₽ is equal to approximately 0.65 baht.

You can exchange currency at local banks. The cost of a decent hotel room usually costs 500-700 baht per day, you should know that in almost all hotels in the country, a deposit is taken when renting a room, which is returned upon departure. The amount does not exceed the equivalent of $50.

When choosing a hotel to stay in Thailand, one must take into account that there are no certain gradations in terms of stardom in the country and the declared 4 * does not always correspond to this status. You also need to remember that prices almost double for the New Year and Christmas holidays, as well as in April during the local new year. A lunch of 3 European dishes in a cafe will cost from 300 baht, Thai cuisine is half the price.

Renting a car will cost about 400 baht per day. Let me remind you once again that a visa for Russian citizens for up to 30 days is not needed, you just put a stamp in your passport, if you plan to stay in the country for more long term you will need to update the border stamp.

Some average prices for food and alcohol: beef - 220 baht, crabs - 400 baht, chicken fillet - 85 baht, a pack of Marlboro - 70 baht, tequila - 350-600 baht.

When buying tickets to the region charter flights with transfers will save you about half the amount.

The cost of a room in a guesthouse two minutes walk from the beach will cost about 250-300 $ per month. For this money, you can even rent a detached house with a kitchen and a bedroom. This concludes the review of the top 10 countries for an inexpensive vacation abroad, share your opinions in the comments, good luck and have a good rest.

We studied guidebooks, forums, blogger reports, booking systems, food pricing sites and selected the most available countries for vacation. For each, we calculated the budget for two people a day and converted it into dollars. This is the average amount for a couple of travelers who live in the same room, do not like to spend too much and stick to the golden mean in everything. After all, everyone understands different things by comfort: one will have enough beds in a hostel, others will still choose among five-star hotels. Therefore, we did not take into account luxury hotels and restaurants, but found out how much it costs to eat in ordinary local cafes and live in guesthouses, mini-hotels or apartments on Airbnb.

In some countries, costs are easily cut one and a half to two times if you use public transport, there are non-tourist places and look for hotels on the principle of "we only spend the night." For India and Indonesia, for example, we recommend a daily budget of $40-50, but these countries can be traveled as a couple for $20 per day.

We find out where you can cheaply relax at sea in the summer of 2016, both in Ukraine, Russia, and abroad. We consider the cost of flights, accommodation and meals on popular resorts. For convenience and clarity, we compared countries according to a specially developed index of cheapness of rest The results of these calculations turned out to be very interesting.

About vouchers. Going on vacation on your own is usually cheaper and always more interesting, but for some foreign destinations it is sometimes more profitable to buy a package tour - especially when it comes to last-minute tours, which sometimes even cost less than a flight.

Criteria and index

The article was completely updated in February 2016 (prices are new, indices are recalculated).

In this article, we consider resorts where independent travelers can have an inexpensive vacation at sea. Criteria: cheap flights, cheap hotels and budget food. In the case of Europe, the flight will be cheap, but accommodation and meals are quite expensive, and in the case of Asia, the opposite is true.

For each resort, we calculate the conditional index, which includes the cost of a round-trip flight from Moscow in the summer months of 2016, visas and accommodation in a double room in an inexpensive hotel (10 days) per person - it allows you to roughly calculate how much the rest will cost. The cost of food, travel around the city and other household expenses are difficult to calculate, since they are individual, so they are not included in the index. Departures are considered exclusively from Moscow, since it is from the capital that there are most inexpensive offers and promotions, and it is from here that most tourists fly on vacation.

Prices are current at the time of publication of the article - they are indicated in Russian rubles and for convenience are duplicated in US dollars.

Attention: the index is calculated per day of stay per person on the basis that two people fly on vacation (they live in one double room) for a period of 10 days.

Exchange Rates:$1 ≈ 78 rubles.

Also, for the sake of interest, we will indicate the index for 2015 (which was at a rate of $ 1 = 56 rubles), so that you can compare how the cost of a vacation has changed over the past year

Find out where you can cheaply relax at sea in the summer of 2019 abroad and in Russia! We have selected the most popular destinations for a holiday by the sea and for everyone counted cost index. It will help you understand where to rest is cheap and where is expensive. Compare indexes, choose a resort and fly on a vacation on a budget.

How do we calculate the index?

We calculate two indexes of the cost of rest: for vacationers on a tour and for independent tourists.

Tour rest index. For each destination we find the cheapest tours for two for 10 days. To the cost of the tour per person, we add the cost of a visa (if necessary). The result is divided by 10. We get the cost of rest per day per person.

We sum up the main expenses of the tourist and divide by 10:

  • Air tickets. We are looking for the cheapest round-trip flight from Moscow. Tickets can be without luggage and with transfers.
  • Housing. We find double rooms at the lowest price, we do not consider hostels. Calculation per person for 10 days.
  • Visa (if needed).

What do we not consider? Meals, transportation, excursions, etc. - these expenses are individual, they are difficult to calculate. Our index does not reflect all the costs of a trip, but allows you to compare the cost of a holiday by base points.

Why are tickets and tours only from Moscow considered? Firstly, most tourists fly from the capital on vacation. Secondly, the cheapest tickets and tours are usually from Moscow. If we count the indexes for departures from all cities of Russia, the review will surpass "War and Peace" in terms of volume.

And even cheaper? Can! In some cases, your vacation will cost even less than according to our calculations. You will save if:

  • find a cheap one or ;
  • you already have an open Schengen and you are going to Europe;
  • fly for a holiday in the low season.

Prices updated for summer season 2019 and are indicated in Russian rubles. Indices for European countries are duplicated in euros, for Asia - in US dollars.

Exchange rate: 1 US dollar ≈ 65 RUB.

Choose a destination that suits your taste and budget:
