GLC Mountain "Sobolinaya"

November - April

This resort is Irkutsk region, next to Lake Baikal, is considered the largest in Russia. Ski competitions are held here, there is a health center.

Abzakovo

November - May

Another version of Russian Switzerland. From the local "alpine houses" open beautiful views Southern Urals. There are no extreme drops on local routes - everything is leveled by snowcats. The slopes are designed for easy skiing. The resort has a wonderful climate: the sky is clear, the air is clean. Biathlon competitions are also held here, and cross-country skiing tracks have been made around Abzakovo.

The longest track (of the green level of difficulty) descends to the Abzakovo DO. Night skiing is held on this slope every week.

Abzakovo is located 60 km from Magnitogorsk, you can get from the city by bus.

You can stay in a local hotel or in the aforementioned DO (rest home). In the private sector, you can stay 3 km from the resort - in the villages of Novoabzakovo and Abzakovo.

Zavyalikha

December - April

Great snowy place for a ski resort. The most modern sports center for skiers has been built here. The slopes of Zavyalikha have been chosen by the Russian snowboarding team for their training, and snowboarding competitions for the Russian Cup are held right there.

How to get there:

Via Novokuznetsk: by plane or by train to Novokuznetsk. Further to Sheregesh 160 km by taxi or in advance. There are two flights a day from Moscow to Novokuznetsk, the flight lasts a little more than 4 hours, the cost of round-trip tickets as of the date of writing the article is 21,000 rubles. Via Novosibirsk: By plane to Novosibirsk. Then by taxi or booked transfer as much as 550 km of Siberian roads to Sheregesh. Air traffic Moscow - Novosibirsk is much richer than Moscow - Novokuznetsk, so ticket prices are sometimes twice cheaper, at the time of writing - 9,500 rubles.

How to get there:

Unfortunately, the resort cannot boast of a hotel infrastructure. You can live here either in the Stone Flower Hotel, 4 km from the resort, or in rented private cottages. The mild climate and a large amount of snow are due to the favorable location of the Adzhigardak ridge of the same name, which is a barrier to cold northern winds. Due to its popularity, the resort is constantly evolving, offering tourists the best it has to offer. For example, quite recently, at the beginning of 2015, a new red track was opened.

How to get there:

The key point of the route is the city of Asha, from which the resort is within easy reach. The city of Asha can be directly reached by two daily trains from Moscow in 30 hours. Those who do not like this route can consider flying to Ufa by plane, and then by taxi, car or electric train. The distance from Ufa to Asha is about 100 km. The distance from the city of Asha to the GLK "Adzhigardak" is 1.5 km.

Mount Adzhigardak - 734 meters.

Trails and lifts:

In total, the resort has 10 tracks, most of which have doubles. The location of the tracks allows you to combine different routes in one run. Thus, you can get a combo track up to 3500 meters long. There are also officially designated areas for freeride. For insatiable skiers, a couple of trails with evening lighting are organized. The downside is the lack of chair lifts with such a variety of slopes.

Abzakovo

In the midst of the picturesque landscapes of the Urals, a real mini Switzerland has grown with big amount chalets and houses in alpine style. Skiing in Abzakovo is comfortable and uncomplicated, the tracks are constantly prepared by snow groomers and there are no extreme slopes. Abzakovo has a South Ural climate with a predominance of clear sunny days and clean air.

How to get there:

First you need to get to Magnitogorsk: every day at least 2 flights and one train are sent there from Moscow. By plane you will fly in over 2 hours, and by train in 35 hours.

From the bus station of Magnitogorsk to Abzakovo can be reached by bus, which, according to the schedule, depart every 15 minutes. Drive only 60 km.

Height:

Mountain range Krykty-Tau, Shaitan - 819 meters.

Trails and lifts:

15 slopes with a height difference of 311 m, including three "green", five "blue" and only two "red". The longest trail is 3.3 km long, marked in green and leads directly to the Abzakovo rest house. Twice a week night skiing is arranged here.

The resort is located in Perm region on the slopes of Mount Krestovaya in the Northern Urals. It is the largest in the region. Prices here do not bite, which makes the resort very popular not only for local residents, but also guests from other regions.

How to get there:

To get to the resort, you must first get to the city of Perm. Many daily trains from Moscow go here. The journey will take about a day. Also, several flights a day fly to Perm. Once in Perm, then you need to take a bus from the central bus station to the city of Gubakha. The distance from Perm is 210 km, which the bus will cover in more than 4 hours. Trails and lifts:

17 tracks of various categories with a height difference of up to 310 meters. The longest track is 2600 meters. The trails are varied, here you will find long gentle slopes for beginners and short but steep ones for advanced riders. All 5 ski lifts in the resort are drag lifts. Here it is possible to leave the track and ride on the uncompacted snow among the sparse forest on the slopes.

The resort, alas, cannot boast of a rich hotel infrastructure. There are only a few hotels here. But due to the location of the resort almost close to the city, there is an opportunity to rent private apartments or cottages for reasonable prices. In this case, the resort can be reached by taxi or bus.

The ski resort "Gora Sobolinaya" is located near the city of Baikalsk. One of the largest ski resorts in Siberia. From the slopes and lifts open spectacular views to Lake Baikal.

Siberian Switzerland - this is also the name of that part of the Republic of Khakassia, on the picturesque landscapes of which the resort on Mount Gladenkaya is located. In this place, the final of the Russian Alpine Skiing Championship has been held more than once.

How to get there:

First of all, the tourist needs to get to the capital of Khakassia - the city of Abakan. From Moscow, a daily train runs here, which is on the way for 3 days. Abakan is also connected with our capital by several 4-hour daily flights.

The next point on the route is the city of Sayanogorsk, to which buses run from Abakan (schedule).

You have to take a taxi to Gladenkaya from Sayanogorsk.

Height:

Mount Gladenkaya - 1810 meters.

Trails and lifts:

3 main tracks, the longest of them is 4200 meters. 3 lifts: two chairlifts and one rope tow. The height difference is also impressive here, it is as much as 930 meters! A small number of trails should not be embarrassing: different sections are combined on the slopes, both steep and gentle, it will not be boring!

Ski center "Metallurg - Magnitogorsk" is located on the territory of the resort "Bannoye". The resort itself is named after the lake of the same name, located nearby. The resort is year-round, in the summer people come here to relax from the bustle of the city among the picturesque nature, but in winter, of course, they meet ski lovers here.

How to get there:

We note right away that it is only 25 km from Bannoye to the Abzakovo resort, so the first part of the route for these resorts will coincide. By the way, in this way you can “kill two birds with one stone” in one vacation by visiting both resorts.

First you need to get to Magnitogorsk: at least 2 flights and one train are sent there daily from Moscow. By plane you will fly in about 2 hours, and by train you will reach in 35 hours.

From Magnitogorsk to Bannoy is only 40 km. Buses run from the railway station here. The main option is a taxi.

7 tracks of varying difficulty. The longest of them is 2500 meters with a drop of 450 meters. 4 lifts, 3 ski lifts and 1 gondola type (closed 8-seater cabin). The gondola lift takes athletes to the mountain in 5.5 minutes! The resort has a freestyle snow park and a separate children's area with a special lift. For lovers of night skiing, there are illuminated slopes.

A significant proportion of the ski resorts of the Urals is located in the Yekaterinburg region. Chelyabinsk region famous resorts Sunny Valley, Adzhigardak and Minyar. The first of them is located in the Miass region and is considered an elite ski center with slopes varying degrees difficulty, ski areas for snowboarders, a kids club, guest houses, cafes and a Finnish sauna. Also, sledding, "cheesecakes" and snowmobiles are possible here. This resort is recommended for family vacation, but it is worth considering that the prices here are quite "biting". Adzhigardak has a dozen tracks, with a total length of 3.5 km and a height difference of up to 350 meters. A positive addition is the fact that they are illuminated at night. At the confluence of the Minyar and Sim rivers, there is the Minyar ski resort, which is loved by experienced skiers and freeride fans.

In the Perm region, a fiefdom for connoisseurs winter views sports are such centers as Zavyalikha, Takman and Gubakha. The total length of Zavyalikha trails is about 14 km, among which there are a couple of routes for experienced skiers. The elevation difference is about 400 meters. In Bashkortostan, Abzakovo and Beloretsk gained considerable popularity. The latter lies on the snow-white slopes of Mratkino Peak, within the city of the same name, and hospitably welcomes its guests from December to April, delighting them with a pleasant sunny weather and plenty of snow. This resort has giant slalom tracks with a vertical drop of up to 200 meters, a slope for children, a range of cross-country trails, biathlon tracks and 4 lines cable car. The entertainment industry is also well developed here. In close proximity to ski complex there are several bars and discos, and also opens the doors for everyone to the sports club "Metallurg" with a swimming pool and gyms.

The Abzakovo resort is spread out in the spurs Ural mountains at an altitude of 800 meters above sea level. Like Beloretsk, it has a biathlon shooting range, giant slalom and cross-country ski runs, and offers guests an extensive entertainment program, including a visit to the dance floor and cinema hall, located in hotel complex. The thickness of the snow cover, if necessary, is regulated with the help of snow cannons. On the territory of the ski complex there are also ski areas for tubing lovers and there is a freestyle snowboard school.

Ski resorts edges, the number of which has clearly increased over last years, became closer to international level, although the number of tracks and the quality of service are still far from ideal.
