Alpine skiing in the vicinity of Kolomna ____________________________ Kolomna surroundings cannot please with good slides, but if you wish, you can find places for skiing in the nearest and slightly remote areas. In this post, I will share information about ski slopes within a radius of 100 km from Kolomna, their characteristics, equipment, cost of services.

Kolomna, Kolychevo - The closest slide is an equipped slope in Kolomna on the banks of the Oka in the Kolychevo region. But this slide belongs to the Meteor Youth Sports School and is not particularly accessible to Kolomna residents. And after 2013, when several people on sleds and iceboats were injured on the hill, the hill has a bad reputation.

Park-hotel "Olymp" in Maly Uvarov - Recently, Kolomna residents still have the opportunity to comfortably go skiing and snowboarding not far from the city. A small ski slope was equipped at the Olimp Park Hotel in the village of Maloe Uvarovo. The hill is bulk, of small height, wide uniform descent and a small forest descent. There is a drag lift, a warm changing room, and equipment rental. There is lighting, a snow cannon, a snowcat is working. The cafe is open on weekends. On some days, the Meteor sports school is engaged on the mountain, so before leaving, take a closer look at the opening hours on the site. In the near future, they promise to launch a lift and a tubing track. The cost of using the slope and lift for an adult is from 400 to 700 rubles, for children the price is preferential. When using the slope without a lift for snowboarders, the cost is 200 rubles.

Fruktovaya and Alpatyevo stations -- At a distance of 40-50 km from Kolomna, skiers volunteered to install ski lifts on the slopes of the banks of the Oka River at Fruktovaya and Alpatyevo stations in the Lukhovitsky district. To be able to ride on these towbars, you must have your own special hold or you can try to rent it on the spot. The slopes are not processed, the tracks are not marked. At the Fruktovaya station, the yoke usually works only on weekends. There is a cafe near the slopes at the Alpatyevo station and a modern hotel complex has been built nearby. According to scarce information on the Internet, the cost of using the slopes in Alpatyevo can range from 500 to 700 rubles. in a day.

Complex "Semeno-Oleninskoye" near Ryazan-- 7 km. from Ryazan, in the village of Semeno-Oleninskoye, several years ago, they began to equip a sports and entertainment complex. And today it already has 2 bulk slides, several lifts and slopes. You can also ride tubing, there is a cafe, a first-aid post, hotels. According to the description and reviews - quite comfortable for winter holiday place. Competitions are regularly held in the complex and recreational activities. The cost of skiing from 500 rubles. up to 1000 rubles; schoolchildren, students and pensioners - preferential prices.

Base "Virage" near Stupino - Also 7 km. but already from Stupino there is another fresh ski facility - the Virazh base. The hill and the arrangement (according to the description) are similar to the slope in Olympus, but judging by the videos, the track passes through the forest and the views are more picturesque. On weekdays, the lift operates only in the evening from 18 to 22, on weekends from 12 to 22. The cost of using the lift is from 500 rubles. up to 1700 rub. You also need a tow hook, you can rent it on bail. Skiing without a lift - 300 rubles.

Ski resorts in Chulkovo - In Chulkovo, on the slopes of Borovsky Kurgan towards the Moskva River, there are two independent ski areas at once: the Borovskoy Kurgan Ski Center and the Guy Severin Ski Club. Club "Gaya Severina" has 2 lifts on 2 slopes and a training lift and track, there is a tubing track. And of course, all attributes ski resort- parking, cafe, rental, instructors, etc. The place is often used for competitions. The cost of one lift for an adult is from 30 to 60 rubles. (children 50% discount), there are benefits for pensioners, veterans, large families. There is a discount when buying deposits from 2000 rubles. This place is popular with Muscovites and residents of the surrounding areas, so on weekends it is very, very crowded.

The Borovskoy Kurgan center is also in no way inferior to the neighboring club in terms of equipment and tracks, but according to the latest information, the center will not open in 2016: (There was unofficial information about a fire at the center's facilities. And according to official data, the center is now looking for a new sponsor. Let's hope that he will be found and good zone skiing with almost 50 years of history will not be lost for the Moscow region. This is how the entire ski area in Chulkovo used to look like:

Freestyle Extreme Park in Dzerzhinsky - This skiing area once began with the initiative of local ski lovers, but gradually developed into a very promising and modern complex. The proximity of Moscow is a good incentive for its further growth. The park operates not only in winter, but also in summer - there is a beach and entertaining summer fun. In winter, the complex has 4 main lifts, there is also a training one. Equipped with 7-8 tracks on 2 slides of the sand pit. The slides are not high (but there are almost no higher ones nearby), the tracks are not long up to 300 m.

Otherwise, the park has full equipment and a list of services, like a good European ski resort. In addition to instructors, there is a children's ski school. And here you can also try "pillow jumping" - right on the snowboard! Well, as well as a snowboard park, tubing, snowmobiles, cross-country skiing trails and much more. The cost of the lift for adults is from 40 to 60 rubles, for children from 20 to 40 rubles, daily passes for adults from 700 rubles, for children from 500 rubles. On weekends, the park is probably very crowded - Moscow is within easy reach!

Agree, it is a pity to spend precious time in the mountains learning the first skills of skiing or snowboarding! Of course, it is very beautiful in the mountains, you are on vacation, but it is better to master the simplest movements in advance. And just spending time on the slope in the evening or on weekends is also cool. Therefore, we will tell you where this can be done in Moscow or not far from it.

Within the Moscow Ring Road there are several slopes equipped with lifts. Of course, first of all, it makes sense to go to the slope closest to the house: you will spend a minimum of time on the road, and if it’s good there, then why not spend time there?

Sports Park "Volen" became one of the first "civilized" ski resorts in the Moscow region, equipped in alpine style. It opened in 1998. During its existence, "Volen" has experienced periods of ups and downs. Soon after its opening, competitors appeared around with a high level of offers and quality of slopes. And although Volen lags behind its neighbors in terms of the length of the slopes, which does not exceed 400 meters, the park management manages to find new solutions to attract skiers and snowboarders to its slopes. One of them is a prudent pricing policy. The park provides significant discounts for children and adults.

Fourteen tracks are marked from blue to black. Height difference up to 65 meters. There is a training slope for beginners and children.

Resort website: volen.ru

The second option is an electric train from the Savelovsky railway station to the Yakhroma station. You can take a taxi at the station.

Ski complex "Stepanovo" is located in secluded place in a picturesque forest at a distance of 5 kilometers from sports park"Volen". This subsidiary project of the Volen park was opened near the village of Stepanovo in 2000. The natural slope with a roll-out to the Volgusha River was raised even more, adding imported soil. The result was a slope 1 kilometer long and a height difference of 110 meters. This figure is the highest in the Moscow region. Stepanovskiye slopes are most loved by snowboarders.

On the main slope there is a track with several steep drop-offs 900 meters long and a drop of 110 meters, and the second, simpler one, 850 meters long, runs along the cable car. On the central slope there is a 700-meter long steep drop track. On the Strekovsky slope there are two simple tracks 550 and 580 meters long and with a difference of 50 meters.

The slopes are serviced by three chair lifts. One of them, a domestic double-seat, is rather old and very slow. The other two are more modern and faster. Two lifts also serve the opposite slope on the other side of the river near the village of Strekovo. It is noticeably shorter and more flattering. This slope is most suitable for beginners. They usually descend along it from the village of Strekovo, where you can drive up to Stepanovo by car.

All trails are illuminated with spotlights and equipped with snow cannons. The lifts are open late. Under the cover of tall fir trees, snow here stays better and longer than that of its neighbors. Fans of skiing, snowboarding and secluded slopes often prefer Stepanovo to other, more crowded resorts. It is quiet here and there are relatively few people on the slope, which allows you to feel closer to nature and makes it possible to forget about the bustle of the city.

There is a two-story building near the top lift station, which houses changing rooms, rental, ski service, luggage storage, and a toilet.

The choice of food outlets in Stepanovo is not so diverse, but you can still choose between the Pit Stop bistro, the Ski Cafe and the Caramel cafe.

This is the only year-round roofed slope in Russia and the largest such complex in Europe. Here you can ski in the snow at any time of the year. The room temperature is constantly maintained at -3…–7°C. The thickness of the snow cover is from 50 to 90 centimeters, and the area of snow cover is 22,000 square meters. That's about the size of four football fields. The height of the ceiling above the slope is 12 meters, and the roof does not “press” from above at all.

Both in winter and summer, the characteristics of the coating on the slope do not change. And it's not just the temperature, but the fact that the snow here is not quite ordinary. It is obtained by crushing into small crumbs pieces of ice produced by three refrigeration machines. Geneglace. Each of them produces 30 tons of ice per day. Snow is produced outside and fed to the slope through plastic pipes. This allows you to maintain a unique microclimate inside the complex. The coating is more slippery and, accordingly, faster. With a relatively small slope (no more than 28%), you can accelerate to high speeds, which is what athletes use in training.

High-speed Austrian lifts, even when the slope is fully loaded, do not allow queues to form. The slope with a width of 60 meters allows several hundred skiers and snowboarders to ski at the same time. The total capacity of the complex, including changing rooms, rentals and cafes, is 800 people.

"Snezh.com" provides everything you need, even the little things. Inside the complex there are enough places where you can just have a bite to eat, and have a hearty lunch or dinner after skiing. There are also well-equipped ski slopes in Moscow, which will be discussed in the article.

Moscow slopes

To find out where you can go for a ride with mountain slopes, we present a short overview of Moscow ski resorts:

The ski slopes of Vorobyovy Gory have a convenient and accessible location for Muscovites.

Finally

Ski slopes in Moscow - beautiful place for recreation of Muscovites and guests of the capital, namely for lovers of outdoor activities.

To have a great time at fresh air, great skiing, tubing, snowboarding and other sports attributes during the holidays and New Year holidays, it is not necessary to go to long way, abroad. In Russia, in particular in Moscow, there are a huge number of well-equipped and well-equipped ski resorts and resorts.

If the janitors are already sweeping away more than the first snow instead of fallen autumn leaves, then it’s time to brush off the dust from snowboards, ski accessories and go towards speed, wind and sun to the ski resorts and slopes of Moscow.

In the capital and the region, you can count about two dozen such places for sports and just active recreation. Of course, you can organize everything “in a wild way”, choosing any slope you like, but turning between stumps hidden under the snow, clinging to branches and falling into the snow is not the most pleasant thing to do. In addition, some ski slopes in Moscow and the Moscow region charge a purely nominal fee, not exceeding the amount of a dinner check in some mediocre eatery or the cost of daily car parking. So excessive savings are simply inappropriate here: it is better to pay a small amount, but at the same time get a lot of pleasure for the whole day.

So, let's figure out which ski slopes are open in Moscow this winter, what is special about them and how they can please those who want to do outdoor activities. All the sports centers described below are already operating at full capacity and are ready to receive maximum customers.

  1. "Sorochans".
  2. "Vine".
  3. "Snowball".
  4. "Volen".
  5. Stepanovo.
  6. "Yakhroma".
  7. "Tseleevo".

Let's take a closer look at the participants.
