Often airport taxi employees try to cheat and do not turn on the meter on the way. This is done in order to earn as much money from you as possible. Especially if you're stuck in traffic, make sure the meter is running. If the driver refuses to act on your request, you have the right to get off and find another mode of transport.

At your request and additional fee a taxi officer can drive on toll road, this will cut the time by about half. The amount for using the toll road will be printed on the check at the exit point of the freeway. If you are satisfied with the taxi service, you can leave a small tip.

Before leaving the airport, do not forget to change large bills for small ones at money changers.

The cost of the trip will cost 250-400 baht (from 125-200 rubles). A similar counter is available at Don Mueang Airport. Due to the greater distance from Bangkok, the cost of the trip will be more expensive by 100 baht.
