Herceg Novi

The famous health resort of Montenegro, which received the unspoken status of the greenest city in the country. At one time, exotic plants from all over the world were brought to Herceg Novi, so you won’t surprise anyone here with palm trees and cacti. The city is quiet and calm, it has beautiful narrow streets, which are pleasant to walk around at any time of the day.

True, despite its patriarchy and silence, this city is not recommended for the elderly and parents with strollers due to the peculiarities of geography. Herceg Novi is located on the hills, all transitions with difficult descents and ascents, many stairs. But with older children it will be fine: Bay of Kotor warm, the water is always calm, there are many walking places and the beautiful Old Town. The only negative is that all the beaches in the city are concrete, and some tourists even prefer to take a boat to the nearest beach.
