How to get to the sea by car: getting ready for a long road. How to get to the sea by public transport

The construction of the bridge to the Crimea is in full swing, but this tourist season still have to make do with ferries. Loading of ferries in the high season is predicted to be very decent. Therefore, we will postpone the visit to the peninsula until better times and consider simpler and fast routes week trips by car to the blue Black Sea.

For the European part of Russia, the main artery connecting the country with Black Sea resorts, is the M4 Don highway, despite the rather long repair section and Rostov traffic jams. Toll track with restrictions on some segments up to 130 km / h, it allows you to get from the capital to the Black Sea fork of the M4 highway in just one daylight hours. To do this, however, you will have to leave Moscow around 5 in the morning, but then, even taking into account a couple of stops for lunch and refueling, at dusk you will be in the Dzhubga region, leaving almost one and a half thousand kilometers of roads and 840 rubles behind. for the right to pass through them.

At Dzhubga, where, resting on the Black Sea, the M4 highway diverges in two directions, you have to make a choice: turn left, you will get to Tuapse and Sochi, turn right - you will arrive in Gelendzhik, Novorossiysk and Anapa. For those who do not like to sit in one place and strive to the south, not only to lie on the beach for the whole vacation, we advise you not to go in cycles in one resort, but to slowly ride along the entire coast, stopping for a couple of days in different cities: so you will get more impressions, and you will find better beaches. Today we will consider the "eastern wing" of the coast - from Dzhubga to Anapa or vice versa. When choosing this route for traveling by car, it is best, without going down to the Dzhubga fork, immediately after Krasnodar turn onto the A146 highway, thus shortening the path through the infamous Krymsk.

IN last years in Anapa, a huge number of private mini-hotels of the most different levels. Competition is high, and due to this, prices, even in season, are quite acceptable. This attracts a huge number of people to Anapa. budget tourists, and the beaches in the season are packed almost like in the resort movies of Soviet times - there is nowhere to step. At the same time, the quality of rest leaves much to be desired: water in shallow water and in estuaries blooms in places and is very saturated with bacteria. You should definitely go and admire the dunes of the Vityazevsky estuary (in the season, entry to the coastal spit is paid - 200 rubles), but you should not stay here for a long time: there are more interesting places on the coast that are not so overpopulated by horseless tourists.

Leaving Anapa along the coast to the east towards Novorossiysk, in half an hour you will find yourself in the area of the reserved Lake Sukko with its swamp cypresses and the famous Cape Utrish. Here you can visit the dolphinarium (however, there are still many of them on our way along the sea), swim and have a bite to eat. Lots of restaurants and eateries. Fort Utrish is the most expensive and pretentious place with a wonderful view and very low-budget dishes.

Logically, the next stop on our Black Sea route should be "Russian Champagne" - the famous wine region AbrauDyurso. If you are traveling by car, there is only one way to get there - returning to the highway, and then turning south again before Novorossiysk. For those who have an SUV or crossover at their disposal, there is an alternative the most beautiful route through the Utrish nature reserve. The road is very bad, but it passes through relic forests, gorges and deserted beaches with enough clear sea. You just need to be prepared for the fact that the 40 km journey to Abrau will stretch for you for almost three and a half hours and will not be the easiest test for the suspension of any SUV.

But here, among the greenery, the blue expanse of Lake Abrau appears. Over the past few years, many private houses have also been built in the vicinity of the lake, mainly budget hotels: for the most part - in the villages at the exit from AbrauDyurso towards Novorossiysk. But if you want to relax in comfort, drinking elite varieties of local sparkling wines by the pool overlooking the lake, it is better to book a room at the Imperial Hotel & Champagne Spa, the location and level of service fully justifies every word of its long name. In general, it would be quite logical to stay in Abrau for a couple of days: drink sparkling and still wines, ride through the vineyards, go to the lotus lake ... And then - go further east through Novorossiysk towards Gelendzhik.

In Novorossiysk itself, you should definitely stop by the sea terminal, where you can visit the cruiser Mikhail Kutuzov, which has been laid up here for 15 years. However, there is a problem with parking lots in the waterfront area: you have to wind up several circles to find a place where to park your car.

Factory tour and historical complex Abrau-Durso usually ends with a tasting of elite varieties of sparkling wines, so it's better to go to Abrau overnight

But most of other monuments and attractions of the city (mostly related to its heroic past) is located right along the road leading to Gelendzhik. On the Novorossiysk serpentine, at the exit from the city, there are two observation platforms with wonderful views of the Tsemesskaya Bay. The second one is especially noteworthy, with a grandiose granite memorial to the "Sailors of the Revolution", who in June 1918 sank 16 ships of the Black Sea Fleet in the Tsemess Bay so as not to transfer them to Germany according to the Brest Treaty. Along with Tsushima, this episode became one of the darkest pages in the history of the Russian fleet in the 20th century.

Arrows with ship profiles indicate directions and distances to those places in the Tsemess Bay...

Where the ships of the Black Sea Fleet were sunk in the summer of 1918

On the parapet observation deck bronze arrows were installed indicating the direction and distance to each sunken ship.

Behind the memorial, the Novorossiysk serpentine passes into a more or less straight section of the Don highway, and after 15–20 minutes you are greeted by the inscription “Resort City of Gelendzhik” and a rather strict traffic police post: just in case, be prepared to “breathe into a tube”.

Gelendzhik has been actively built up with modern buildings in recent years and is gradually flourishing. However, it is pleasant to come here out of season, in April-May. In the season, teeming with people and buzzing like a beehive, Gelendzhik, frankly, is far from Rio de Janeiro. With the blue dream of the Great Combinator, he is related only by the dirty sea in the bay. Locals in the port bay never swim, preferring to take sea baths outside the city, for more clean beaches. But horseless tourists in the bay are a dime a dozen: few people are embarrassed by dirt and infections during the season.

The best hotel in the city - Kempinski Grand Hotel boasts a huge landscaped area, a good spa and private beach, the sea on which, however, is as “clean” as in the entire bay. There are simpler and cheaper hotels, and among them you can find very European and high-quality ones. One of the benchmarks in the middle price segment is the new modern hotel "More", which was opened only last autumn. There are quite a lot of restaurants on the waterfront for almost any budget, there is a huge amusement park, petting zoo... but because of the dirty sea in the bay, we do not recommend staying in the city for a long time. Leave it to be plundered by horseless tourists and go further east along the winding but beautiful section of the Don highway towards Dzhubga.

In recent years, this section of the road is gradually overgrown with quite a decent infrastructure. Appear on the sidelines good cafes and barbecue, where you can have an inexpensive and tasty snack. A few kilometers before Pshad, on the right side, there is a complex of Gelendzhik dolmens. In general, there are a lot of dolmens in this area, there are even special “dolmen tours”. But most of them are located in the mountains, sometimes at a decent distance from the road. These are standing at the very track: it’s just a sin to pass by. Then you can turn to Arkhipo-Osipovka: swim again, visit crocodile farm and another dolphinarium, if by that time you don’t get tired of them completely.

But now is Dzhubga, and with it the crossroads of the M4 Don highway already known to us. If you go to the right, you will get to Tuapse, Sochi and Abkhazia. If there is one more free week, why not take a ride to the Olympic capital, or even to Sukhum. Turn left - you will get to Moscow: one light day of travel, and you will again find yourself in Belokamennaya ...

Gelendzhik is flourishing more and more every year: hotels are being built, infrastructure is expanding, but the sea in the bay is still dirty, locals do not swim here ...

1500 km without refueling, is it real? An action-packed story in one piece.

The average consumption on the Voronezh-Volgograd section has decreased to 4.9 l / 100 km. For a large executive sedan, the figure is excellent.

A trip on 1 tank to the Black Sea turned out to be extremely exciting in terms of a stubborn struggle right up to the last kilometers.

Moscow - Voronezh

The first rule for a quick departure from Moscow and the Moscow region is to leave early in the morning. I refuel at BP immediately after leaving the Moscow Ring Road, i.e. immediately after the sign is the end of the settlement. In total, it turned out almost 80 liters (including a reserve in case of a complete stop). Well, that's it - we eat sandwiches, drink coffee and go. The next gas station should be only in Anapa after 1500 km

01

02

03

I slowly start moving. I accelerate to 80 km / h - the engine speed is slightly above a thousand. In some places I add up to 90-100 km / h. On the on-board computer, I set the readings of the instantaneous fuel consumption and carefully follow the numbers, hence such a fork of speeds: if you go downhill, then you can accelerate to 100, and when moving uphill, the minimum consumption is obtained just at 80 km / h.

Such low speed is unnatural for the Jaguar XJ. It's a shame when trucks and old "Zhigulis" of summer residents overtake you. I have an unbearable desire to drown the gas pedal to the floor, but I show an iron will and do not do this, because you have to endure.

Jaguar XJ First Impressions: Car Drives Like big ship- smoothly and impressively. Despite the nasty Moscow rain and the abundance of trucks around, it is somehow unnaturally quiet inside the car. In budget cars and middle-class models, which I usually drive, the manufacturer saves, first of all, on soundproofing. But in a car for 5 million rubles, sinning on extraneous sounds from the street is simply ridiculous.

Let's get back on the road. The weather, to put it mildly, is not encouraging. In Moscow and the region, clouds, rain, sometimes strong - disgusting. But as soon as we left the capital region, the clouds suddenly parted and the sun appeared. It was exactly the opposite on the way back. Anomalous zone this is your Moscow.

In the meantime, we are approaching the first paid section, which is located in the Moscow region from 41 to 71 km federal highway M4. So far, traffic on it is carried out in a test mode, since this mechanism for honestly taking money from drivers was opened only a month ago. In a few days, the “freebie” will end, and motorists will have to pay 30 rubles to the cash desk of the Avtodor enterprise for driving along a 30-kilometer section.

Despite the statements of representatives of the federal road agency that billions of rubles are spent on the construction of pay roads, it seems to me that commercial sections of roads are created by installing barriers on existing 4-lane highways. Most likely, most of the multi-lane roads in Russia will become toll roads, and there is no getting away from this. As for the M4 Don highway, by 2016 the total length of the toll sections will be more than 700 kilometers. It turns out that the owner passenger car will deduct at least 700 rubles in favor of the state, and this with shamelessly expensive gasoline.

But the main problem is not the cost of travel. paid sections, but in traffic jams that form in front of payment points. Now there are only two such checkpoints, but a third one will open soon - a bypass road around Yelets. Traffic jams will collect in front of all barriers: both at the entrance and at the exit from the commercial road. The funny thing is that the waiting time for your turn to enter will be longer than the time of movement on this "payer". On the way back, for example, in the Lipetsk region, we stood in front of such a section for about 30 minutes, and drove - no more than 20.

08

09

10

11 is on the way back the queue to the "payer"

Let's get back to our race. We drove 285 kilometers. I haven't looked at the average yet. Exciting moment. Now the race may be over if the fuel consumption is too high, I thought. So, I sort through the modes of the on-board computer and reach the readings of the average consumption - 5.2 liters per 100 km! I drive more economically than stated in the passport data (5.6 per "hundred").

12

Let's go and enjoy life. However, the radio prevents us from fully appreciating this positive moment. The fact is that in the vast territory of our country there are exclusively redneck pop and chanson FM waves, so take your music on a “flash drive” or disks on the road. Oh, how much slop poured into our ears! It's good that there is a TV in the car, which brightened up our monotonous trip a little. On the way back, I even managed to watch both matches in Group A of the European Football Championship.

13

Let's go further. As I wrote above, a bypass road was finally put into operation around Yelets (even last year we had to travel through the city), so we reach Voronezh quite quickly: average speed since the start is 87 km / h, and the average consumption has dropped to 5.0 liters per 100 km! Some fantasy! But we are driving without climate control, and it has become hot outside, and even stuck in a small traffic jam on the bypass - many years of repair. By the way, on the way back, Voronezh had to pass through the city - the traffic jam towards Moscow was of incredible size.

14 "Eternal" construction of the Voronezh bypass

15

Voronezh – Rostov-on-Don

Immediately after Voronezh, having driven 500 kilometers from Moscow, we make the first stop - for lunch, rest and walking Lucas, who suddenly ended up in our carriage

16

17

18

19

20

We continue moving to the Black Sea, first resetting the average fuel consumption. I look at the numbers from the on-board computer - 535 kilometers have been covered, exactly the same to Rostov. Diesel fuel left a little more than half a tank. Not enough. In addition, I had to turn on the climate control due to the unbearable heat. Well, we are waiting for an increase in fuel consumption. But it was not there. After a couple of hours of driving after a lunch break, the average value is already 4.9 liters per 100 kilometers. This is incredible - with the climate control turned on, the car began to consume 0.1 liters less!

Proven in practice - in expensive cars with powerful engines, smart air conditioning does not take on too much, unlike budget cars, where the consumption with the "air conditioner" increases to two liters

21

22 You can relax a little and drive without stress. At some point, I believed in victory.

23 After dinner, I felt a wild desire to sleep. Straight wave began to cover. It is known that it must be brought down and then it will be easier. Burn coped well with the task and I continued to wind kilometers without stopping to sleep

But it's still too early to rejoice - the road from a 4-lane has abruptly turned into a classic Russian "two-lane", and traffic has slowed down a bit.

24

25

And now comes the key moment of the race - the fuel level needle fixed exactly at the half-tank mark. I look at the kilometer posts - 705 km. Based on this, we can draw a disappointing conclusion that the total distance that will be covered without refueling will be 1410 km - 90 less than I planned. However, do not forget about the "bonus" stock that almost all cars have - when the arrow falls, the car is still able to drive more than a dozen kilometers. Therefore, on this moment I rate the odds of winning the competition as 50:50. Strange, but the built-in navigation, based on the readings of the on-board computer, says that we will not have enough fuel to reach our destination. Stupid.

Rostov-on-Don - Anapa

And here is the first stop of the DPS-nickname at some inconspicuous post literally immediately at the entrance to the Rostov region. I got out of the car and prepared the documents for verification. However, the officer asked one question: "How much does this car cost?". If there was a chair, I would fall off it. The serviceman is estimated. And what? Can afford as compensation for difficult and dangerous work. By the way, you can determine that you entered the Rostov region by the white shirts of traffic police officers: distinguishing feature traffic police uniforms southern regions Russia.

On the track in Rostov region there is one "ambush" place - the village of Tarasovsky. It is located on a narrow two-lane section of the highway that runs right through the center of the village. Naturally, cars slow down in front of pedestrian crossings, which causes decent traffic jams in both directions. In addition, many drivers stop here for rest, which further complicates the traffic situation.

978 km covered. We are approaching Rostov. The road became hilly, the quality of the asphalt itself deteriorated, and this, of course, affected the consumption - an increase to 5.2 liters. In the stream of cars, we increasingly notice amazed faces leaning out of the half-open tinted windows. local residents who are looking at our car with undisguised interest. I do not think that the BMW 7-series or the Mercedes S-Class would have caused such a strong reaction from the Rostov public. Indeed, the Jaguar XJ looks very impressive.

Meanwhile, only a quarter remained in the diesel fuel tank, and still go and go, including through densely populated villages Krasnodar Territory. Suddenly, a traffic jam forms on the road - it was the traffic police who organized a "bottleneck" before the most serious post on the Zukerova Balka highway. Surprisingly, we pass the harsh policemen unnoticed, and on the most economical course we rush towards Anapa. All. The last stage of the race. All the fun begins.

After a few kilometers, we leave the highway towards the village of Kislyakovskaya and then move to Leningradskaya and Timashevsk. It gets dark quickly. Only one division of the tank remained for 270 kilometers. The situation is critical. I am trying to drive even more economically, although there is nowhere to go, and there is also a closed railway crossing in Timashevsk, in front of which an impressive traffic jam has gathered. Just at that moment, the “light bulb” lights up, and the target is 190 kilometers away. Road repairs are in addition ...

26

27

28

Surprisingly, we reach Slavyansk-on-Kuban. The arrow is already in the red. The goal is 100 kilometers away. We go without breathing. Fuel can run out at any moment. At the same time, I don’t know what can happen to the car: suddenly the fuel pump or some other important part like the engine fails.

Anapa is only 40 kilometers away, and the Jaguar XJ is still moving! I don’t know how, but we are going, and after all, the mileage by this moment is almost 1,500 kilometers. The sea appears on the screen of the built-in navigation system, but the last Mountain pass, and any rise is an increased fuel consumption, especially for a heavy car.

Finish

So, the final segment of the distance. There are only a few kilometers left, when suddenly, on the rise, the car begins to twitch barely noticeably. As you approach the pass, the jerks become stronger, and the engine speed does not rise above 1100-1200 rpm. Somehow I reach the pass, let go of all the pedals and roll down to the village of Gostagaevskaya. There are 20 kilometers left to Anapa, but judging by the odometer readings, I have already covered the planned 1,500 kilometers today. This means that the resort town turned out to be a little further from Moscow than I expected.

The fight went literally to the meters. Having moved down the mountain, I move very slowly along locality. Car jerks intensify. The engine is no longer able to function, and suffers from a lack of fuel, like a fish thrown by a fisherman on a hot shore. All. At the next intersection I decide to stop and add spare diesel fuel. 19 kilometers left to Anapa. The total travel time with all stops is 21 hours.

29 I will show on the map where the race ended. It's a shame, yes. Not enough 1 liter of diesel fuel!

I think that such a result cannot be called a defeat, but also a clear victory. One thing is clear, it is real to get to the Black Sea by this car! And there is nothing supernatural in this.

By car to the Black Sea: several convenient routes

It is most convenient to get to the territory of the Crimean peninsula through Krasnodar region. But you need to remember that the roads passing directly through the city of Krasnodar are very often overloaded. And if you choose this route, then you need to be prepared for traffic jams and long traffic jams.

Convenient enough to travel to black sea coast route - Rostov - Sochi. If you do not take into account the delays when traveling through Krasnodar, then you can get to the sea relatively quickly and comfortably. The road surface throughout this section of the path is good.

The second option of the route is through the city of Kropotkin. You can get to Sochi through the city of Kropotkin, following from Rostov. The road is quite comfortable, with the exception of the segment between the cities of Tikhoretsk and Kropotkin. This is a standard two-lane track with a length of 80 kilometers.

Given that there are quite a lot of cars moving in both directions, it will not be possible to develop a high speed of movement. The rest of the track meets modern standards: a smooth surface and several lanes in each direction

It is worth noting that the journey to the Black Sea through Rostov to Sochi, passing through Krasnodar, is somewhat shorter than through Kropotkin. But choosing the second option of the route, you can avoid long traffic jams and forced "rest" in the heat. It is also convenient to get to the sea coast through Kropotkin by car from Pyatigorsk and Armavir.

A trip by car to the coast along the route through Armavir - Maykop - Tuapse - Sochi will be convenient if travelers approach the Black Sea from Pyatigorsk, Armavir or Stavropol. The path will turn out to be a little shorter - by about 120 kilometers - but this may not affect the time spent on the road.

A big plus of this route is the ability to bypass many traffic jams that cannot be avoided when traveling through Krasnodar. A feature of the road is beautiful landscape behind the windows.
